**** MAKIMA POINT OF VIEW ****

It's another joyous night in my village , I stood at window of my room and stared down at the happy face of people who were preparing for today's sacrifice ceremony.

Oh sorry my name is Makima daughter of the chief of the Amazon clan , well the Amazon village or clan is a small group of people existing deep in the heart of Hemiko island . This island was named after the great warrior goddess Hemiko , every last day of the month my people pay homage to the goddess Hemiko by performing a sacrifice and guess what the sacrifice is .

The sacrifice we offer to our goddess are the children of the moon or should I say we sacrifice wolves to our goddess , I don't know how this tradition started but my father inherited it from his father who did the same from his own father . So yes this sacrifice has been going on for a very long time , it's believe that the blood of the moon children (wolves ) cleans and produce good harvest to our lands .

So it's a huge celebration but there's one person who hated this practice and that person is my mother , she has never for ones ever appreciated the fact that this offering was done using the blood of the moon children .

The sound of the door opening got my attention and I turn and there stood my mother .

" Makima " she called

"Yes mom "I responded ,she carefully walked close to me and then she took a glance out through the window .

" It's another dark practice just like old times , Makima don't ever follow this people madness . The moon children are innocent creatures and shouldn't be treated this way , a time will come when our village will suffer the consequences of their action " she said and place her hand on my hair , oh I forgot to give you guys the best part of our Village.

Every woman in our village is born with a magic gift just like every man in our village is born with an extra ordinary strength. My mother has the gift to see the future while me on the other hand I have the gift to control wind but I always wanted to have her kind of gift .

"Mother you always say this when ever the ceremony is to be held , tell me what does the future say "I ask curiously but as expected she smile and shook her head negative, tsk she's never gonna tell me anyways .

"Am not allowed to tell you my child but in order to keep your future safe am warning you never to follow the foot steps of this people " she said , a loud trumpet was blown and soon the sound of drums fill the air . It's time for the sacrifice to commence.

" Asha ..Asha " my father called and rush into my room , he pause and carefully scan my mother from head to toe and he frown .

" Don't tell me you're here to discourage my daughter about todays festival"

" This is not a festival rather this is mad practice "she snap , I could see the anger building up in my father eyes .

" Mad practice the goddess Hemiko has been blessing our lands and all she ask for is this little piece of offering" he yell

" And when did she even request for this kind of offering and how am I sure the goddess is even alive " mom said , okay I think she just hit the wrong spot . My father grab her arm and she wince in pain

" Don't you dare talk ill of the goddess , she's the reason you're alive "

"You're hurting me Sion "she whine

" The next time you speak such words I will make sure you get punish "he finally said and let go of her , she stagger back .

" Makima let's go it's time " he said and walk out , I gave mom one last glance before walking out with my dad .

"Ahhhh "I heard mom scream out in frustration.

I and my father walked into the village centre which is already filled up the the villagers , a huge fire was set a the middle of the arena .

The high priestess bow in respect as we both took our position in front of the people .

" It's another great night for us , the goddess has been with us through out our tough times and joyful times and we are here to say think you to her " the priestess said , I look up at the huge status of the goddess Hemiko. I couldn't help but wonder if she is truely a living force.

"Bring forth the sacrifices" the priestess yell , 3 warriors drag in people, 2 male and a female .

"Let go of me " the wolf girl scream but she was dragged forward .

" Ahhhh " one of the wolf man roar and his eyes glowed bright blue showing off his sharp canines, he tried to break free from the chain but it was useless because the chains are made of silver .

The wolves were tired to 3 long pillar and bellow the pillars were dried woods , leaves and straw .

The priestess turn to the status of Hemiko and she lift up her hand .

"Our mother , our queen , our god . Your children have come to you ones again and just like everyone other year we know you will keep your promise. "She said out loud , she pick up a knife and a bowl . Slash the throat of the female wolf

"Ahhhhh "she scream out in horror , the priestess place the bow under the wolf girl next and her blood poured into it and as soon as the bowl was filled with blood she step back .

" And for the final rite , light them " she said , the guards quickly put fire on the woods and in no time the entire alter was on fire .

"Ahhhhh no no please help " my heart ache as I hear the wolves scream out in agony, the fire melt off their skin and the smell of roast flesh fill the air .

The priestess came close to my father , she deep her finger into the wolf blood and she drew an X on my father forehead , she then came to me .

"Princess Makima "she called while smiling showing off her wrinkled face .

" Is it necessary for me to get marked "I ask and she frown .

"Oh yes it is princess Makima , the marks means the goddess will always remember you were here to acknowledge her " she said , I sigh and allowed her to mark my forehead with the blood and as soon as she walk away I quickly wipe the blood from my forehead .

She and her followers move around making everyone present and when they were done she walk back to the fire alter which by now the wolves were already dead .

" Oh mother of water , protector of the Amazonian, keeper of our traditions take our sacrifices and bless our lands " the priestess prayed , a strong wind blew around us and dry dust circle all around the arena .

"Hahahahah do you all hear that , the goddess is please with our sacrifices" the priestess yell and then a heavily thunder clap echoed above us and it started raining . The cry of joy filled the air as young maidens dance around , the rain is the last sigh that shows that the goddess has accepted our sacrifices.

While everyone was busy dancing and singing I slowly sneak out of the arena and hurried home , maybe mom is right this practice is sick . Am 24 years old and through out this time I have witness countless of wolf sacrifice, their cry for mercy as they were being burn to dead . I can still hear their cry but the one that hunts me till this day was 2 years ago when a 10 years old wolf girl was burn alive , her agonising screams is still fresh in my heart . Am not sure I will ever forget her Innocent eyes staring at me as she was dragged to be executed by my people .

**** MAKIMA POINT OF VIEW *****

" Those of you who will like to join the Ajake warriors should learn how to master your element magic, wind magic is one of the basic battle elements which can be use to reduce the number of our enemies" Mr Oda our master said , well the Amazonian have 5 element magic ( fire , earth, water , lighting and water ) which is shared among the women and this 5 element have 5 teachers or master who guide we young maidens on how to use our powers . Mr Oda is the wind master and he is job is to guide all maiden with ability to control wind .. Am sure you curious to know who the Ajake warriors are , well they are elite women warriors who fight back to back with the our men Warriors . This women are every maidens model and many wish to be like them .

" Now concentrate and creat a wind ball " he said and stretched his hand , he summoned the air around him which formed a huge spinning ball of wind . The maidens around me stretched their hand and slowly I watched them summoned a wind ball , i huff and stretched my hand .

While everyone was cheering for their success here I was unable to creat a simple wind ball , gush this sucks like hell . Am the worst element user alive ,

Am 24 and up till now I can't even use my powers , yes remembered when I said I have the power to control wind well the truth is that my powers only works when am in trouble or when am angry . Mr Oda have tried many ways to help me draw out my powers but all his efforts have failed .

" Hahaha the powerless princess is trying hard to creat a simple wind ball "

"Gush how the hell is she so weak "

" If she wasn't the daughter of the chief I would have said she's not even an Amazonian maiden " I heard whispering coming from all angles , i sigh and bow my head .

Why is it so hard for me to make use of powers I mean even Rina my best friend is now a master of her own , she now even teach younger girls how to make use of their powers .

"Makima " Mr Oda called and I slowly look up at his face , despite trying to hide his disappointment I could still see it in his eyes .

" You ..."

"There's no need to encourage me Mr Oda I know am a failure"I said and turn around and walk out of the training field .

"Why am I so different from every other person "I kept in asking my self this as I walk slowly down the foot path which leads to the priestess shrine and just as I got closer I heard voices .

"Why did you request to see me " I heard my mother voice and I pause .

"It's about Makima " the priestess said , I tiptoed close to the building made of straw , wood and mud .

"Is my daughter hurt is something "my mom ask

"No she's not , well this is because up till now Makima haven't been able to gain full control of her element magic " the priestess said

" Look here Asha I know how this sounds but if Makima doesn't get full control of her powers she won't be able to get married to man "

" She's already betrothed to your grand son "mom said and I scoff .

" Zuma can't get married to Makima if she can't fully control her powers it will.."

"oh you're worried that my daughter in ability to use her powers will bring shame to your family name " mom said in an angry tone

" I didn't say that Asha "

"No that's what you're trying to say , my daughter is perfect just the way she is " mom snap

" Makima can't use her powers because there's something growing inside her " the priestess said , they was silence for while . I slowly peep and I got a clear view of my mom who is staring keenly at the priestess, I can't see the priestess face because she's backing me .

"What do you mean "

" I have been experimenting on Makima and to my research it's clear that there's something inside her body which is feeding from her element magic. I don't know what it is but it's drilling her magic and makes her awfully different from everyone else "

"You have been experimenting on my daughter "mom roar and bang her fist on the small table in front of her .

" Yes I have to , am trying to secure my grandson future . I can't allow him get married to your daughter who seems not to have any future at all " the priestess yelled , okay I think this lady is going too far .

" Who the hell does she think she is to say such about me " I clinch her fist hurt and furious.

" Wow so that's what you think of Makima , hahaha well you don't have to worry about my daughter getting married to your son because your son and everyone else in this village have no future . The seeds you all planted has finally grow , it's time to harvest what you all have plant "mom said and rose up

"What do you mean by that Asha , what have you see in the future . I know you seer eyes have seen something so tell me " the priestess demand and mom giggled .

" I don't want to spoil the fun so why don't we all wait to see how it will all end "with that mom walk out and I quickly ran away so that no one will see or notice me .

The castle meeting hall was rowdy and the loud argumentative voices of the empire elders fill the air , beta Cole stared down from the high platform wondering what to do next in order to calm this people down .

The white glory moon pack but it's popularly call empire pack , it's a powerful wealthy pack own by alpha king Craig, this pack is regarded as the north America wolf paradise due to its beauty and well organised society.

" Enough " beta Cole yell and the 12 supreme elder all stop talking , the 12 elders are the law bearers and they stand as the pillar of the pack .

" Those bastard humans most be punish , they took my daughter 3 years ago and up till now no one knows her fate " elder 1 yelled

" My son-in-law was also taken couple of months ago and his Highness haven't said anything yet . Is he waiting for all of us to be crush by those pesky dirty humans " elder 2 said as she glare at beta Cole , more complains were unleashed.

" The king himself is in Canada to attend to some wolf uproar, I can't do anything until he is back . My hands are tied " beta Cole said

" Like seriously Cole , your father did a great job when he was the king beta . I think we made a mistake when we made you the beta , you elder brother Roland would have made a good beta " elder 3 yelled intentionally reminding Cole that he was never supposed to be in this position.

Cole clinch his fist and hie jaw tightened , he rather go play basket ball than stand before this bunch of judgmental old fools .

"Okay I know you all are angry because this month is about to end which means the Amazonian will make another move to kidnap our children . But rest assured that I have doubled our security and .."

" Oh geez that was what you and warrior wolf said last time but it didn't work " elder 5 snap , she's a young woman in her early 50s .

After the long annoying meeting it was finally came to an end and beta Cole stumped out furiously.

"You should have allowed me to claw out those bastard throats " Lex his wolf said in his head , Cole could also feel the rang of Lex .

"Calm down Lex , I feel your range gush his Highness have to come back because those guys are driving me crazy " he complain.

"Yes he better come home before I kill someone " Lex said .

" Beta Cole " someone called and Cole turn , a tall brunette lady walked over to him .

" What's it Jenny "he ask

" Our guards spotted few rogue wolves roaming in our woods " she said and Cole frown .

" Have anyone inform the king about it "he ask

"No "

"Good I want you to keep this confidential I don't want the king to get mad at me , where is Xander " he ask

" The warrior wolf is at the training arena "she said .

"Okay thanks , see you around "he said and walk away .

" I miss our mate Cole , let's go back home "Lex whine

" Not now Lex can't you see we are in a critical period " Cole scoff .

" The only critical thing here is the fact that I want my mate " Lex yell in his head , Cole wince because he felt a slide headache.

" I hate your whining am shutting you out " Cole said

"Don't you dare Cole don't you..." Lex became silent, Cole created a mental wall between him and his wold that's the only way for him to have peace of mind .

As soon as Cole got outside the gigantic castle he smile at the sight of pack members moving to and fro doing their day to day jobs , he stared up at the bright sky .

" What a bless day "he said to himself before heading towards the pack training arena .

The training arena is a large field ment for training , it's like a military field .

"Okay that's enough " a tall huge bald headed guy said and the 2 wolves fighting hand to hand combat stop .

"You did great Oscar but Tony you have to work on your reflexes" the warrior wolf Xander said .

"Okay lord Xander " Tony said with a low bow while Oscar smile happy that the 3 most strongest wolf in the pack complimented him .

Xander look up and he scoff at the sight of Cole who also rolled his eyes .

" Excuse me , you all should continue the training" Xander said before walking away to meet Cole .

" What are you doing here Cole " Xander ask

"Is that even a question , am the beta of this pack so I have all right to be anywhere " Cole said glaring at Xander who hiss and shove his hands into his combat trousers pocket .

" Did you hear about the rogue wolves roaming around our woods "

"Oh so Jenny told you " Xander said and Cole frown .

" This is not the time to be sarcastic Xander , if the king hears about this he's gonna hang both of us ." Cole snap

" Don't worry my men are already working on it , so how did the meeting with the elder go "

"It went terrible , those bastards demand an audience with the king when they know full well the king is busy . Gush " Cole grumble .

" Well you have to endure after all his Highness will be coming back in 3 days time , his presence here really has an impact on everyone . I can't wait for his return after 5 months " Xander said feeling excited while Cole sigh .

****MAKIMA POINT OF VIEW *****

I and my best friend Inka stood at the cliff while staring down at the village below , up here you can get clear view of what is happening down the village .

"Ahh I wish I can leave this boring island " I said

" It's not that boring it's just ..I don't know how to put it " she said be laid flat on the soft grass .

" To you it's not boring Inka after all you're great in almost everything "I said with an eye roll , she sat up and her glazing blue eyes fell on me . Inka is the definition of a pretty dark skin girl but her eyes are weirdly blue , she's one of the best fire element users I know so far and because of her gift she's now a member of the Ajake warriors .

" C'mon girl you talk like am way too lucky , take a look at you . You're the daughter of the chief and future bride to Zumaki or should I say Zuma " she said , I rolled my eyes and sat down on the grass .

" should i be happy that am gonna marry that frog face "I said

"Hahaha frog face , geez I pray he doesn't hear you call him that " she said laughing , Zumaki is the grandson of the priestess. He's the definition of a proud annoying , selfish idiot . He believes he is higher than everyone because, he's vice captain of the tribe warriors and almost every girl in my league are crushing their ass for that idiot .

" He's handsome Makima , gush I wish am in your shoe . I get to be queen of this tribe with the most handsome she strong guy in our tribe . Awe it's so sweet "she said whining like a cat , that's why I hate bring up Zuma topic .

" Yeah yeah to you he is but to me he is a frog face "

" How are you preparing for tomorrow sacrifice night " she ask

"I don't know Inka , mom will be on the edge as always " I grumble

" Why does your mom hate the ceremony , everyone is saying she's the reason why you're powers are weak. They all believe the goddess is punishing you for your mother sins " she said and I gasp

"What , who the hell is going around with such rumours "I fume

" Don't give me that look , Emerald is the one spreading the rumours" she said

"That 2 face witch "I yell and unknown I created a strong wind which circle around us .

"Woa Makima you're ..." Inka quickly move back away from me , i huff and shut my eyes .

"Calm down Makima calm down "I mumble to myself and the wind around me seize

" The fact that you don't make use of your powers occasionally actually makes it dangerous when ever it's active " she said sat beside me .

" So Emerald is busy spreading rumours about me and my mom , that girl " I huff , Emerald is my dad young brother daughter and she is a jealous freak . She's been on my neck for a very long time .

" You should get use to her anyways I..." Inka was about to say when we hard loud screaming coming from the village, we both stood up and rush forward to see what's going on . From a distance we saw women and children cheering as the male warriors walked pass them while carrying a bamboo cage on their shoulders .

"Woa the warriors are back with tomorrow sacrifice, C'mon let's go see what kinds wolf they caught " Inka said excited but I frown and stared down .

Inka eyes glowed bright red and a 2 huge fire wings spring out of her back, that's Inka for you she's really good in creation .

"Fire wings "I ask disbelief

" Yap I have been working on it for a while now and guess what , I now have full control over it "she said and flap her wings and she flew up high

" Wow " I stared in amazement as she flew around circling the sky then she dive down , she hug me from behind and they flew up high into the sky .

"Inka ..."I scream

"Hahaha chill "she laugh and flew fast down to the village, I could feel the intense heat surging out of her wings .

"Mama look ... A fire bed " a girl said pointing at us as we drew closer and all eyes turn to us

" Hummm Makima there's something I have to tell you " Inka said

"What "I yelled since am finding it hard to hard due to whooshing wind sound .

"I don't know how to land perfectly so.."

"Wait you don't know how to land "I scream out in horror , i look up at her smiling face . Why is she smiling .

"prepare for impact " she squealed

"No no no no nooooo "I scream as we crash heavily into a building, due to our speed we burst out at the other side of the building creating a huge hole on the mud wall .

"Ahhhhh "I scream as i somersault non stop

"Hahaha oh " I could hear her laughter and finally I slam hard on a wooden table .

"My back "I wince , bucket of blue paint fell off the table and it poured on me .

"Great "I grumble and wipe the paint from my face , i staggered up and damn my waist hurts like hell .

"That was cool Makima, let's try it again " Inka jumped on me and I furiously push her down

" Am never gonna fly with you again Inka , you're crazy " I yell but she giggled .

"That's why you love me " she wink and I scoff and look into the bamboo cage , my heart froze . A little girl was inside the cage , she might either be 7 or 10 years old . Her red hair was messed up like she's been struggling with them .

"You don't know who my uncle is , he's gonna kill all of you if you don't take me back home "she scream while banging the cage

"My uncle is the king of all alphas , he's gonna come down here and kick your butts " she scream , she's really energetic .

"Stop screaming beast girl , your voice is too small and sharp " one of the warriors yelled

" Who are you calling beast girl huh , I demand an apology. When last did you take your bath , you stink like dog poop "she yell and stamp her feet ok the bamboo floors .

Everyone who heard this couldn't help but laugh but the warriors grit his teeth furiously.

"She sure has a strong mouth " Inka said laughing

" Yes "I said smiling but my smile vanish when the thought of how she will be use as a sacrifice crush me , I can still hear her loud voice as they walk far ahead . She's still too young way too young , she has a lot of dreams and goals ahead .

"Makima " Inka snap her fingers and I look up at her

"I have been calling your name for a while now , where did you zoom off to "she ask

"Sorry I was lost in thought "I apologize

"What were you thinking huh " someone said and we both turn to the person , Emerald stood there with her gang .

" What do you want Emerald " I ask with a tedious sigh

" Hahaha you don't have be scared Makima am not here to bully you , anyways am sure tomorrow will be awesome too bad your mother won't attend the ceremony. Tsk what a waste " she said

"What's your point "I ask and she beam .

" Oh poor Makima I know how it feels to be burn with out powers , your luck will run out soon . With out your powers you will lose right to became chief of this clan and my dear Zuma will have to pick another wife " she said smiling .

"If you don't have something good or meaningful to say then why don't you go dance around somewhere else "Inka said

"Oh here is Makima body guard " Adele said stepping forward and her body produced sparks of lighting , Adele is Emerald best friend. She's a lighting elements user and she's top in her class so far .

"And here I thought Emerald toothless dog won't bark " Inka said and her body radiat an insane of heat while Adele body produced sparks , Ella and Vida also step forward and Emerald grin evilly.

"You shouldn't push your luck too much Inka , you might be a good fire user but am sure you know you can't fight 1 lightning user and 3 water element users " Emerald said clinching her fist which instantly froze solid. Ella, Emerald and Vida are all water element users.

" Why don't you try and you will know if I can take on you bunch of idiots " Inka said grinning and right now they was fire visibly burning out of her fist .

"C'mon girls let's go " Emerald said and walk away with her friends and I huff in relief, the fire on Inka fist vanish and she scoff .

" Thank Inka "I said

"I was hoping to teach them a lesson " she said and we both laugh .

**** THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW ***

Beta Cole and some group of wolves stood at the ocean shore , his heart throb fast as he stared at Hemiko island which is far ahead .

" Cole ..Cole what should we do , those Amazonian bastard took our daughter " Cole mate Kyla cried while grabbing hold of his shirt , he couldn't even say a word . His mind is totally messed up .

"Cole ..say something , save our daughter please" Kyla cried even move while hitting his chest .

" Cole stop standing there and let's do something ,my little pup is out there . You know what will happen to her if we get her back " Lex scream out loud .

"Cole do something " Kyla scream .

"Cole get your ass back to the castle his Highness is back " Xander mind link cole who was snapped out of his frozen state .

" Take my mate home , I need to talk to king " he said his guards and with that he ran off using his wolf speed .

Meanwhile the castle throne room was already occupied by the wolf armies and elders who were all bowing , on the huge gold throne sat a thick black hair guy . His hair fell down his shoulders despite packing it up in a high ponytail, his dark brown eyes had no emotion as he stared down at his subject .

By one glance one can tell that he is freaking rich due to his expensive cloths , earrings , necklace,rings and shoe . He's no other than king Craig, king of the north America wolves and beside him stood his sexy sex toy Octovia Hamson.

" Welcome your majesty " they all greeted

" It's good to see you all ones again old man Yama " king Craig said staring keenly at the oldest elder who goes by the name Yama-Moto .

" Am indeed pleased by king " elder Yama said with a bow and just then the huge wooden door flung open and Cole walk in and the king look up at him .

" My king I need your permission to go to Hemiko island " he said

" How dare you talk to the king with out greeting " the elders all flared but Cole gave no fuck about them

" Stay out of this old men " Lex took control over Cole body and he roar , his eyes glowed bright blue .the elders all frown . Cole quickly took control over his body and he turn to the king..

"My lord I beg of you to grant me permission to invade Hemiko island " Cole said .

" Give me one reason why I should permit you " king Craig said and his voice boom with authority.

" My daughter have been taken by them , my mate is heart broken . My lord please I beg of you to please help me "Cole said now staring directly at the king , tears roll down his cheek .

"My little Clarissa was taken by the Amazonians " the king ask and Cole nodded , he huff and turn to Xander .

" Prepare a full scale invasion, those Amazonian have touch what they aren't supposed to touch and am sick and tired of them . Xander get warrior ready we move by night " the king said and Xander bow .

"As you wish my king " Xander said ...

Meanwhile Makima mother Asha stood at the window of her room while staring at the sun which is now slowly setting , she place her hand on her moon necklace hanging around her neck .

" I guess tonight will mark our end , too bad I won't be around to watch my daughter fulfil her destiny . "She mumbled with a sad smile .
