The Black moon pack

She ran as fast as she could with her little feet, lifting up her dress for herself to run a little bit faster to the playing ground which was a little bit close to a small beach where she was sure her best friend Christabel was.

Finally she was let out after desperately begging her mother Luna Rachel of the black moon pack who insisted on her to be locked up like a little princess she was inside her castle, now finally she was let out.

Soft breeze hit her delicate skin as she ran, her hair was tied up in a cute ponytail. she couldn't transform into her wolf yet not until she was sixteen so her feet could only carry her for a short distance.

"Christabel, Christabel." Little Emera called out in soft voice catching her breath after the long run not that it was that far but for a seven years old girl it was, she was breathing hard ,she would be able to run for longer distance once she had her wolf.

Christabel tuned around when she heard her best friend voice and a smile almost instantly appeared on her face lighting it up like the moon does the earth at night.

Christabel who had been worried , looking so sad waiting for Emera for almost thirty minutes in the playing ground, doing nothing but staring into space. She had almost giving up and wanted to go home but then she remembered her father's voice saying a wolf should never give up in a situation. And waiting in a playing ground for an hour without giving up felt like an achievement.

Christabel was an omega in the black moon pack, just like her parents and had no friends except Emera. Nobody wanted to play with an Omega, but luckily for her and Emera bonded together because of their love for dolls.

"You are here emi , I'm so happy you came." She said as stood up from the wooden bench she was sitting on and pulled Emera into a long hug.

Emera was older than Christabel with a year making Christabel six but the two had the same height and looked like they were twins when they are seen together wearing almost the same princess dresses there both loved. Christabel wasn't rich so Emera always beg her mum to give Christabel some of her favorite princess dresses.

"I'm glad we can play now ,come on let's build a sand castle." She said happily as she held Emera by the hand, dragging her to the direction where the beach sands was.

"Yes am here just like I promised, and I'm sure if I wasn't allowed I would have sneaked out of the house like I always do and I would never allow you to play alone." Little Emera said as there both walked.

Her statement made Christabel giggle in delight knowing how true Emera words were because there both knew it wasn't the first time she had sneaked out with her the Alpha and Luna.

There were best friends for life and nothing could come between them.

The both girls got to playground and started building their sand castle with huge smile on their faces.

"I will build you a house since you are the princess of the pack were you and your mate will leave happily." Christabel said with a smile making Emera giggle cutely blushing. Yes at that age there both knew everything about a mate, after seeing how their parents behaved with each other both of them wanted one for their selves.

The both girls where unaware of the huge shadow behind them that covered them up like dark clouds, two busy singing their favorite song do you want to build a snow man.

"And what will you build me pup, a cage where I can finally lock little omegas like you in." The unknown voice said tauntingly making both Emera and Christabel shiver with fear. They both turned around the same time and saw their big bully chole. Chole watched with amusement as the two girl looked so scared there could actually pee in their pants.

Fear washed down both their faces knowing what big bully chole was capable of. It was not the first time she had always come after them making jest of them and mocking their little princess outfits .

chole doesn't hit them after insulting and destroying their toys so they knew there were safe from being harmed physically.

"No..I only build castle's for Emera since she is a princess, not for bullies like you. "Christabel said in a tiny voice, she felt chills running down her spine with every word that left her mouth.

"Hmmm,so I'm a bully? Good that's is the more reason slaves like you should be locked up in a cage." The big bully chole said as she walked closer to the sand castle Christabel has taken her precious time to build.

"I'm not a slave." Christabel said in a much more smaller voice defending herself and her little pride ,that If Emera was not standing closer to her she and chole who already possessed her wolf abilities they both wouldn't have heard her words. Emera could only watch in anger as she clenched her little fist.

"What did you say to me pup. You dare talk back at me."chole said in anger all the amusement in her face vanished.

"Daddy said I'm not a slave." she repeated again this time in a much more clearer tone.

Emera was angry at the fact that big bully chole was looking down on her best friend just because she was an omega. The lowest ranking in the pack, but there was nothing she could do ,with her both if them combined there were still defenseless again chole.

" You are going to regret talking back to me." With that big bully chole used her right foot and crushed the sand castle turning it back to sand.

Tears welled up in Christabel eyes and rolled down her cheek like a river.

" Why did you do that, chole. That was mean "Emera said ,her face red and full of fury.

" What are you going to do about it princess. "she said poking Emera on the chest making her fall to the ground, daring the young wolf.

Emera felt unknown anger rushed in her body, she stood up from the ground ,her eyes turned darker and before they all knew what was happening chole fell on the ground with a heavy sound.

Both girls immediately looked at each other in confusion before looking back at the body laying on the ground.

"What did you do to her Emera?."

"Nothing, you were here, I didn't touch her, I swear" Emera said with fear clouding her bright green eyes.

" I know that but your eyes were so dark I got scared for a minute."

" My eyes?. "she questioned unsurely.

"Yes ,there were like huge fire balls, you know like those kind you see in the movies. Anyway she deserves it, I hope she doesn't bully us again after this."

"Alpha." Somebody said clearing her throat. The both girls looked up in horror and saw big bully chole bowing her head at her.

"I spoke too soon, now we are truly going to die for good." Christabel said in fear much greater than before.

"Alpha is there anything you need. "chole repeated still bowing her head

Christabel and Emera continue to watch the scene in front of them in confusion and Christabel moved closer to Emera whispering in her ear.

"Are you sure you didn't do something to her,she is so kind and moon it's scary."

" No I didn't. "Emera said whispering back.

And that was the beginning of Emera powers ,dark magic that could suck the evil out of people, and only little Emera could possessed which unfortunately came with a price, her life.

Chapter one

Three years later in black moon pack .

The whole black moon pack gathered for their monthly mating ceremony once again like every other year. All the newly young mated wolf sat happily in the field which was decorated with nice looking chairs and tables. The tables which was nicely stocked with different kinds of food and drinks.

Some of the newly mated couples were seen kissing and hugging their mate like their life depended on it, unable to leave one another. Nothing seems to go wrong ,it was perfect and peaceful.

The sky was blue and bright, the sun not too harsh perfect for a big celebration. Children were seen playing happily with one another and the old mated couple seen drinking alcohol and laughing away.

The old alpha and Luna sat at the head of the table eating and drinking, celebrating away their lives like it was their last day unknown to them.

"Where is Emera, darling?" He asked turning his gaze from the happy couple dancing to his wife beautiful face. He was a little bit concerned about the where bout if his only child since she was no where to be found playing among the children.

After hundred years of being an alpha in human form but four hundred and five in werewolf timing. He was finally blessed with a child but unfortunately not by the moon Goddess but the dark witches and he will be forever indebted to them.

"I'm sure she's some were playing with her friends, you know how she is always playing hide and seek with Christabel. There's nothing to worry about don't trouble your self honey and enjoy the party. "His wife Luna Rachel said but not looking at him, her mind was clouded with what she was watching remembering and day dreaming about when she was that young and how wonderful it felt when she meet her mate, the Alpha.

"Ok." He replied a little bit relaxed from his mate comfort and continued happily watching the newly mated couple dance and merry away.

Outside the dark moon boarder were rogues destroying and taking captives of innocent wolves guarding the pack boarder.

Since it was their annual yearly celebration of the pack most of the guards found their mate so the ones that weren't mated where just two left to stay on watch, so it was the perfect time for the rogues to attack knowing fully well their Alpha wasn't prepared.

"Only two useless pup, guarding a big pack what a joke of an alpha." the leader of the rogues mutter to his fellow rogues who trespassed into the boarder uninvited.

"I will watch your mouth if were you, you dirty bastard. And who are you calling pup." The blond guard retorted like at the rogue like he was a dirt stain on his shoe.

The rogue leader said nothing in return only an evil smirk on his lips and his eyes shone with darkness. The two werewolf guards eyes became wide and opened from both fear and shock at what the rogue man was holding in his hands. Silver.

Before the two could blink their eyes and defend themselves they where already dead on the ground. The rogue has slit both their neck with the sliver in his bloody hands without mercy.

" What a fool for an alpha, How can he have only two people guarding his pack ,he isn't fit enough to rule this pack ."

"Yes ,he needs to be removed, and tonight the rogue rules forever" there all roar, howl and growl in union together. They continued destroying everything in their part taking the lives of people but sparing the ones there thought was useful for slavery and destroying and burning houses, now only one mission was left for them, killing their Alpha.

"I feel something is wrong darling."

"Why are you being so paranoid, everybody is fine so there's nothing to worry about."

He was about to reply his wife and insists on telling her that something was wrong because his Alpha instinct was telling him so but he got interrupted by the sound of a very loud growl.

"Enough, of this stupid party, now where is your old and weak alpha let him come out here and defend his title." The leader said to the black moon pack members who looked so frightened. The music stopped and silence everywhere.

Alpha Lucien sprang up in rage from his seat with is mate closely behind him. The rogue smirked harder when he saw the alpha and all other of his pack members shaking with fear.

Alpha Lucien has to be strong for all his pack members even if it means giving up his life.

" Are you ready to give up your worthless life and join your moon Goddess."

Alpha Lucian wasn't going to give up without a fight. He maybe old and weak but he was still and Alpha male with full ego.

" May the best man win." The rogue said shifting into his medium sized brown wolf not giving alpha Lucian enough time to transform and ripped out his heart right out of his chest with his claws.

Rachel who had just witnessed the death of her mate screamed out in from the intense pain she felt and fell to the ground with a loud thud.

The whole pack could feel the connection of their alpha been cut out.

Christabel ran with her little feet to the garden where Emera was after witnessing the death of her best friend parent.

"Emera, Emera"

"What is it Christabel why are you crying."

"An evil scary man ,just killed you dead."

"What that's impossible."

"I'm telling you the truth come see for your self, the evil man ripped out your dad's out heart before he could defend himself" she said this time with a louder sob picturing what she had witnessed she was sure she wasn't going to be the same again.

" My papa is dead. "Emera said finally feeling the bond between her and her father disappeared and get disconnected. She had been so immense in planting of her new happy fruit she didn't re realized something was wrong.

" Yes."

Emera sprinted down the alley using her new enhance werewolf power she just hit but told nobody not even her best friend. When she had accidentally transformed into her large black wolf.

It was true ,her father was lying on the ground in cold blood. His heart was beside his body and her mother beside him in a loud sob.

"Oh look at what we have here, little princess finally came out of her hole. Why don't I reunite you together with your father."

"You will pay for ,this "she said with a deadly voice she didn't believe was hers."

"What are you going to do to me little harmless kitten, throw me your dolls." The other rogues laughed at what their leader said.

"Worse, kill you. "she spoke boldly.

Now it was she rogues turn to be taken off guard.

"Over my dead body will a loser pup kill me,."

" Well that can always be arranged. "she said and shifted mid air much to the surprise of all the pack members who were still alive and breathing, she cut his neck with her claws.

The whole thing happened like a movie as all the remaining rogue stood without moving. Emera transformed back into her human form thankfully she had the power to get back her clothes immediately she changed back thanks to her dark magic powers.

"The rest of you, I'm going to be sparing your life do you can thank me later but now am going to do this, it's a painful process but please bear with me." Her eyes turned dark and red as the whole evil rogues fell to the ground.

She removed all the dark energy from their body and sucked it into herself. It was a tiring and stressful process since she hasn't mastered how to use her powers.

"All hail the alpha. "they all shouted with a loud howl.

"All hail the alpha. "they roared louder

Everybody hail the new Alpha female, and silently mourned the death of their beloved Alpha and mate.

"Young Alpha what should we call you."

"Call me, Alpha Black."

Emera black

There have never been a women more powerful than me. The only female alpha ever know and hated even though they haven't seen me or have I made a formal appearance to the outside world but I was sure there have all heard rumors about me. The she wolf that killed a rogue and took control of a pack when she was only Ten.

Women in the werewolf world are all submissive and weak. Not that I have anything against a weak women ,no quite the opposite but women should be given opportunities to become something else and have other titles. In the werewolf world apart from my pack the black moon pack , the Alpha in charge doesn't allow female to be pack warriors or have another title there are only seen as omega and Luna's.

The only thing they do is spread their legs when there mate wants sex and cook food for their pack.

I know you must be wondering if females are been hated and dislike how did I managed to be the alpha of a back, the second strongest in the whole werewolf community.

Simple, just two words. Dark magic. And know I didn't use magic on my pack members to wipe off their memory like it an horror action movies ,nope I used my dark magic which was bestowed to me not by the moon goddess for good surprising because that are job but by the witches. There are called the dark witches. I used dark magic the night the rogues attacked my pack and turned them all good.

I know you are wondering what I meant and here is the answer. Twenty five years ago there was an alpha male who and Luna had who had no child male and female. He needed an heir since he was becoming old and weak. That man was my father , Alpha Lucien may be soul rest in peace after being killed inhumane, pitiless by relentless and ruthless rogue but that's beside the point.

After begging the moon goddess all through his life for a child and got no response he went to the other side of light, the dark side. He went to the dark witches and requested for a child a son in particular who could rule.

But the dark witches told him and his wife he couldn't have a male child ,he felt bad and asked for a daughter in return which he thought was better than nothing. So the dark witches gave him a child and after nine months of the child's birth the dark witches came to him and told him his daughter was cursed.

Yes I was cursed by the moon goddess herself for defiling nature, they told him that I wouldn't be able to live for more than twenty five years of I don't see my mate in time and he falls in love with me and mark me only that will I leave

And unfortunately for me I am twenty four already with only three months left to live.

"You thinking about your mate again aren't you." Christabel said again walking into my office majestically with so much grace. She's I'd the only I can tolerate with such attitude in my pack. She wasn't the shy omega who couldn't defend herself any longer. No she was now the second strongest she wolf I'm my pack and my beta.

"Not really, I was just remembering everything those evil witches said to my father." I said relaxing comfortably on the arm chair. My back and muscles were so sore, I needed a run soon.

" Then I was right you are thinking about your mate right?. " She said insisting with a worried expression.

" Nope ,I was thinking about how much I have left. How much time I have to be with you and the pack before I join the moon Goddess who I don't even know will accept me when I die. " I said to her then turned around to see the magical hour glass that tells how much time I have left to survive.

The magical hourglass was given to me by an older witch. It was a typical hourglass but I call it the sand timer or egg timer of my life since my life was as fragile as an egg but sharp as sand thanks to my magical powers.

The magical glass is used to measure the passage of time I have left before I joined the moon goddess ,despite me not be are direct creation ,I believe she had forgiven my parents by giving me the opportunity to have a mate that will save my life.

It comprises two glass bulbs connected vertically by a narrow neck that allows a regulated flow of a the sand from the upper bulb to the lower one.

"Can you stop staring at the bulb it's kind of creepy," Christabel said, I let out a chuckle when I see her glaring madly at the bulb like all what I was secretly passing through was the bulb fault.

"You know it's not the bulb fault right."

"Yes, but I have to blame something or someone when you die and leave me hopefully it doesn't comes to that we must find your mate. "she said with determination.

" What about you , I know you want a mate too."

" Yes I do but before I accept him, I must make sure you have yours that you are happy and healthy with."

" What if it was an alpha male, you know how possessive there are?." I said to her knowing how my father was to my mother when he was alive, may the goddess bless his soul. Soon after he died my mum couldn't bear him and died committing subside.

" Yes I know. "she said bitterly with a long sigh, her head was bent down. She raised her face and looked at me with her honey brown eyes I was sure If she finds her mate he will surely love her eyes.

"don't worry about me Christabel, if I die I know my pack are in save hands with you, so darling don't worry that pretty head of yours too much." I said reassuringly.

" If you are going to die Emera, I'm going to die with you that's what friends are for."

"why will you want to die when you will find yours soon."

" We both know we are destined to be together that's why we haven't found them. "she joked with a sad smile.

" Yeah we are mate for life baby.

" And even If I did, I won't accept him until you find yours, that's a promise Emera. "she said with so much seriousness .
