Alpha Betrayal

Anna was terrified, waking up to see strange faces in my room. Who the fuck are you?

"Hello Anna," Andrea called softly

"What are you doing here? How can I help you? You are trespassing, you know." Anna yelled

"We are not here to hurt you Anna. At least not yet." Andrea said

"What? Anna Squeaked, what do you want from me?" She asked

"First of all, I would like to welcome you to our neighborhood." Andrea added

"I don't want trouble, I just came here to live my life in peace. Please." Anna said

"Oh we know, but unfortunately for you my dear, there is something that we want from you, although not ripened yet. So to say I will definitely come back for it." Andrea said further

"What is it?" Anna inquired

"Sooner or later you will get to know what it is." Andrea said

"How did you all even get into my apartment, my door is locked and this room is locked also, I am calling the cops." Anna threatened

She picked up her and was about dialing the police number, when Thomas roared at her, dragged the phone from her hands and smashed it to the floor

"Don't make such a mistake again Anna, we are only letting you go because you are useful to us. Do not tempt our patient" Andrea warned

Anna was frightened, she was shivering and shaking, all her life she had never seen such a beast. It was her first time

"Vampires?" she said, trembling.

Her voice was soft and unclear. She had no idea what to do or who to call, she just sat on her bed, speechless as she watched them jump off her window

"We will be back." Andrea yelled

That night, Anna wasn't herself, she couldn't sleep anymore, she had to look for something to do just to keep herself busy and to forget about what she saw

"Vampires ain't real, vampires ain't real, Anna said," slapping her face and pinching herself, like she was in a dream struggling to wake up

The next morning she left her apartment to go look for a job to keep her busy and to get her off the house. She got into a very old crampy store, there was an old man seated in the front desk, normally where the receptionists do sit.

"Hello, Good morning." Anna greeted

"How can I help you?" The old man asked

"Sorry to disturb, but I was passing by in search of work when I saw the sign board that said, vacancy opened. I am just hoping it's still vacant." Anna asked

"Young lady?" The old man called

"Yeah, uhm, it's Anna." She answered

"What?" He asked

"My name, it's Anna Michael" She told him

"Yeah, whatever, i will give you some friendly advice, Don't stay up late at night walking down the street, you do smell nice from far away." The old man said

"What do you mean? I don't understand." Anna said in fear

"Anyways, the job is still Open, you can start now if you want. And by the way, call me Hathaway, that's my name." The old man said

"Well, thank you Mr Hathaway, I promise not to disappoint you, but do you mind telling me what my work here is." Anna asked

"Oh God, girls." Mr Hathaway groaned

Anna hadn't realized yet where she had come to, Practically no human works around the neighborhood cause it has been prohibited, by Top Government officials that the city is filled with dangerous and mysterious beings.

"What happened to the sign board?" Matt asked

"I saw a lady boss, she passed through here last week. She must have taken the sign down." Hank said

"Which lady can be dumb enough to read the signs which clearly says "No trespassing" And still passes it?" Raina demanded to know

"That's nonsense Hank. No human can pass through this boarder and come into our territory except it's.....Anna" Matt perturbed

"Who's Anna," Raina asked?

"She is all they need." Matt answered

"Matt, we clearly don't understand what you are talking about, can you explain more." Alex asked

"There is no time guys, it's happening. Matt said, Hank can you go home and tell dad that Anna is in our city already, I will be with you" Matt ordered

"Who is Anna?" Hank asked

"Will you just do as I have said?!!..Matt yelled. My dad would understand better." He further said

"But we don't." Raina added

Hank ran as fast as his leg could carry him, without stopping or looking back

"Dude, start talking." Jerry insisted

"Okay, Okay, Okay, fine guys. Listen, you all know how my dad and I go for a race every Saturday afternoon?" Matt asked

"Yeah, we do. What happened?" Alex inquired

"One day he told me about a girl named Anna, and how she is going to be the only person to pass through these borders." Matt said

"How is that possible? Does she have super powers or something?" Jerry asked

"No, but according to my dad, if she eventually get in to our city, she needs to be protected at all cost, because she has the ultimately power to what Andrea and his men are searching for" Matt concluded

"Okay, Matt am Lost, can you recap?" Raina added"

"What are Andrea and his men searching for?" Matt asked

"Blood?" Alex said

"That's it's, they ain't just searching for any blood, they are looking for the blood of a pure girl that can make them stronger, without that blood they are nothing. But once they take a sip of Anna's blood, it will make them stronger. They will take over our city, and we will be left with nothing but dust and bags carried on our backs in search of packs, is that what we want?" Matt said

"That's not good" Raina said

"I know, right Now I don't know what to do, we need to go meet the pack leader for directions." Matt said

"What are we waiting for then?" Jerry asked

"Hold on guys, someone is coming" Alex said.

I think it's just one person." Raina said." Don't lose your guard, people." Matt ordered Meanwhile, back in the store, Anna was asking Mr Hathaway a lot of questions that cut him off balance."You are fired." Mr Hathaway said

"What? What have I done?" Anna queried

"You ask too many questions young lady, I can't deal with that." The old man said

"Well there's no rules against asking questions," Anna added

"Rule number one: No questions!!?" Mr Hathaway said Anna became frustrated, unfortunately for her she couldn't go back home after what she saw the other night, so she had to quit the question and concentrate on her work.

"They are getting closer guys" Jerry said"I can swear that it's Andrea and his men." Matt said

"I think so too," Alex added

"Pft, piece of cake then, those people are helpless." Raina added"

And dangerous too Raina. No matter what, don't go near those hungry vampires or they will suck you dry." Matt said

"Be my guest." Andrea interfered, jumping out of the trees in the woods

"Have you no shame Andrea, sneaking up on people like that?" Jeremy asked

"People? Y'all consider yourself humans? Are you forgetting that you are animals, dogs at that? Andrea replied

"At least we ain't dead" Raina added

"How funny" Andrea said laughed Annoyingly. "You were scared weren't you?" He asked

"You wish." Matt added "What have you come here to do this time? You cause trouble everywhere you go." Alex interfered

"Thanks for the compliment son, but I have come to warn you peacefully to stay away from Anna." Andrea warned

"I see you have met her, haven't you?" Raina asked

"Yes, and I could have put my fangs round those her pretty little neck of hers if I wanted to," Andrea added"We both know you can't, because she is not ripe enough, you do it now, you burn to ashes. That's what you all are good for. Burning to ashes." Matt said Alex and Raina men burst out laughing which made Andrea more angry ."Arrgh!!!. Andrea Roared and immediately he and his men began attacking the Alpha's You have no right to make fun of us," Thomas said, referring to Alex, as the both of them exchange punches."Oh, i don't make fun of you my dear. Nature does that already." Alex added his eyes turned red, his teeth came out longs,.it was obvious that he was turning into a wolf already. He jumped on Thomas's, aiming to pull his head off when he was interrupted by Matt"Alex, stop!!!" Matt yelled Alex angrily got off Thomas, and he watched how the Andrea ran away with his men, leaving his usual threats message"I will be back, Matt. This fight isn't over yet." He said

"Buzz off Nitwit.., this is like the sixth time you have said that this week." Raina added"Common guys, let's get the hell out of here," Matt said.

They got to Their pack, it was really quiet, they could hear their leader Doyen, murmuring and clamouring."Oh, I thought she wasn't going to come, I thought it all changed. The pack leader said. Filled with anger and guilt of Negligent""Dad? What is it?" Matt asked"When did she Arrive?" The leader asked"According to Hank, she arrived here Last week, but I don't understand what the whole fuse is about. Matt said. Mum?" He called"Son, you need to be safe." His mother said, walking up to him"What are you talking about?" He asked"Anna can either be good or be dangerous, she is a vampire too, she just doesn't know it yet." Matt mum said"What? How is that possible? isn't she supposed to be human? She is to run away from Andrea, and anything that looks like them, not run to them. Is that not right?" He asked"It would have been, there are a lot more stories that you all don't know of" The leader said"Well we are listening dad." Matt said"I can't begin to start talking" his Father Added"Well, I am sorry to disappoint Dad, if you want to keep your pack safe, you will need to start telling us everything you know about Anna." Matt aforesaid"Son!!!...his mother yelled. You don't talk to your father like that" she said"Well I won't have to mother, it is his right as the pack leader to protect us and tell us when to run, and you are by his side mum, you should tell him to do the right thing. Look around, look at the faces of your people. Glittered In fear of losing their home. Start talking dad." Matt ordered His mother walked up to him, gave him a slap, her eyes were red and her vein popped out."I have sat with your father on this throne for over fifty years,I have watched him sacrifice his life for every being in this city, so you don't just stand there saying rubbish about your father." His mother said

Matt got pissed off, and left for his room. Raina followed him. While Alex and Jeremy remained there.It was Dusk already, Anna had almost closed from work."Lock up the shop when you are done mopping will you?" Mr Hathaway ordered"One minute sir." Anna called him back"What is it, young lady?" He turned back and asked.He watched Anna come closer to him but unknowingly to her, Mr Hathaway kept dragging his feet back without her noticing."You can talk right where you are I can hear you," Mr Hathaway said" Are you sure?" Anna asked

"What do you want?" Mr Hathaway asked

"We haven't spoken about my payment sir." Anna said

"I will pay you 80$ Anna." Mr Hathaway said as he was about leaving

"Are you kidding me? 80$? Sir, you realize that I am doing the job of almost three people. You need more employees if I am to collect that amount of money." Anna said

"If I should get more employees then I will pay you $30 how about that?" Mr Hathaway asked"That is not fair." Anna exclaimed as she slammed the door to the mall.Few minutes later, while she was mopping the floor she saw someone's shadow on the wall which wasn't hers."Who is there?" Anna asked.A voice Roared loudly, and as Anna tried to run she noticed the door had been locked."Who are you?" She asked, filled with fright

Anna held a Mob stick in her hands, wanting to use it to defend herself. As she kept on moving backwards, the stranger kept on following her. It was really dark, she could barely see the face of the person.

"Oh, God. This is a creepy town." Anna said softly

"You should have thought of that before you threw re signboard down" Matt added

"What do you want from me?" She inquired

"What have you come to do here?" Matt asked

"You know what? Do what you want to do with me, I don't care anymore. The other day it was a vampire....

"Oh, so you have met them?" Raina asked, coming towards her from the back, cutting Anna short

Anna jumped in fear, quaking and filled with terror, she panicked completely in reaction of the unforeseen speech from Raina.

"What the fuck?" Anna exclaimed

"What have you come to do here?" Alex asked

"Where did you come from?" Jeremy opted in

Anna broke down, she reacted negatively to the people surrounding her. She couldn't talk or say a word. All of a sudden their eyes turned red and she ended up Flaking out.

"Hey!!... Wake up, Anna!!"Raina yelled

Anna shivered, looking left and right. All around her was filled with people. She bursted out crying, pleading to the strangers to let her go

"What do you want from me?" Anna asked

"Welcome to our city" the pack leader said.

"Can I go?" Anna asked

"No," Raina yelled.

"What is the meaning of this? Why am I here, I have not done anything wrong" Anna said

"You are in our neighborhood." Alex said

Anna became confused, she could barely understand what was going on. She just sat there on the wooden bed they make for any interloper.

"You are trouble to us Anna." The leader spoke.

"Look, you have the wrong person, I promise. I just came here to live in peace, I don't want trouble neither do I make one" Anna said, trying to get up from the wooden bed.

"Don't you dare move" Matt roared

"The bed hurts" Anna said

"That's what you deserve? Raina added"

"What have I done? Anna asked"

Still with no answer, Anna was kept as a prisoner in that room until the next day. As early as 8:00am. Andrea paid a visit to the wild pack, looking furious

"Sir, we have got a problem" Venus said, one of the Pack security guard

"What is it?" Doyen Blustered

"Andrea and his men got in, they threatened to attack if the girl was not released to them immediately" Venus exclaimed.

"What?" Doyen Roared. He was furious. I made you the guard of this pack and you have these to tell me?" He said.

"I am sorry sir," Venus admitted

"Son, come with me. Raina, stay back and look after Anna, we will be back" Doyen commanded.

They finally got outside, far away from where Anna was kept, they could see Andre wandering about like a lost sheep looking for his way home

"You have no right to take what is rightfully ours." Andrea growled

"Hey!!...you are not supposed to be here," Matt roared

"Neither is Anna," Andrea countered

"What do you want here a"Andrea, the girl in question doesn't belong to you....yet" Doyen said

"She is of our blood, our kind, If you don't release her soonest this place wouldn't be a pack anymore" Andrea threatened

"Is that a threat?" Matt asked

"You will find out soon enough" Andrea said

Back in the room where Anna was kept, she probably wondered what was happening and why they took long to come back, Anna was not comfortable with the way Raina stared at her. Whenever she glanced at Raina she discovered that Raina kept a keen look at her.

"Can you explain to me what is going on?" Anna asked

"Like you don't know." Raina said

"Gosh!!...if I knew what was going on, wouldn't you think I should be scared of trying to run away by now? For crying out loud I don't even know where this place is." Anna said

Raina bent down, stared at Anna eyeball to eyeball. Raina's face was scary, her eyes turned red and her finger popped out long, she caressed Anna's jowls With her fingers daintily. Anna was scared and trembling.

"Listen to me lady, I have no idea what Doyen plans to do with you, I just want you out of our life, go somewhere else and get a life, you don't belong here, I know your kind of people. You act like you don't know what is going on and the next thing you are on the bed with the leader's son wanting to take this kingdom, Raina blathered " her teeth pumping out like she's about to bite.

"Who is Doyen, or his son,?" Anna asked

"You are just so dumb. Raina replied"

The argument between the leaders of the pack and Andrea was still on. Andrea was never ready to give up. He wanted Anna by all means.

"We just wanted her here for few days, ask her few questions and she will be with you" Doyen said

"Oh yeah,? How many times have I heard that? Andrea asked"

"Leave this premises at once Andrea" Matt commanded

"Or what? Thomas replied"

Alex, from no Angle became more demented. He was too enraged that he had no idea when he started attacking the vampires. There was chaos amongst the people, most of Andrea's men sucked a few bloods killing and injuring several innocent lives in the wild pack.

"Come with me" Raina ordered"

Anna proved stubborn, refusing to go with her. Raina dragged Anna by her arm pushing her forward as they went outside seeing the whole commotion.

"It's about time. Doyen said. Where is the girl?" He asked

"Here she is sir. Raina said.

she threw Anna to the floor where Doyen stood

"Andrea!!!..." Doyen yelled calling out for the vampires as he helped Anna stand up from where she was thrown "One more silly move from you and I promise you, I will pierce my fingers around her furry skin," He threatened

"You won't do that?" Andrea said

"Don't dare me. She is a threat to us and we won't need her, one more move from you and you will drink her unripened blood from the floor" Doyen warned.
