At night.
The villa was shrouded in bright stars, and the bedroom on the second floor was lit up with the faint light.
Standing on the balcony, the night wind blew up Linda Su's curly long chestnut hair. The coolness made her put her hands around her arms.
Suddenly, a white light came into her view, and an elegant black Bentley slowly drave into the villa yard.
He was finally back!
With a happy look in her eyes, Linda Su trotted out of the bedroom.
She opened the door and looked at the tall man with a happy smile on her delicate face.
"John, you're finally back."
Linda Su greeted the man in a gentle voice, took his black handbag and helped him take off the well-tailored dark suit.
"I'm sorry for keeping you waiting, Linda. It's raining heavily in Jin City today, so my flight was delayed." John Cheng held his beloved wife in his arms and stroked her soft hair dotingly.
Jin City? Linda Su was shocked.
His broad chest was warm and secure. After a week's business trip, Linda Su missed John Cheng so much.
However, at this moment, she couldn't feel the sweetness. When she heard John Cheng's words, she only felt her nerves trembling and her heart skipped a beat.
"John, aren't you on a business trip to Y City? Why did you go to Jin City again? " Linda Su asked in a hurry.
"I went to visit my partner. I made a temporary decision the day before yesterday, but I didn't tell you in advance. Sorry, I made you worried." John Cheng's handsome face relaxed and smiled warmly.
Everything seemed to be fine.
Linda Su gradually calmed down. She told herself that nothing would happen. After all, there were tens of millions of people living in that big city.
She nodded with a smile and pretended to be calm, "John, I made chicken soup. Go and drink it."
Unexpectedly, John Cheng looked tired and said, "I will drink it tomorrow. I'm a little tired today. I'll go to bed after taking a shower."
Linda Su was in a daze. Every time he came back from a business trip, he would drink the chicken soup she cooked, which had already become a habit.
Looking at John Cheng's back, she became nervous again.
Holding the suit with one hand, Linda Su followed John Cheng all the way up the stairs.
When she walked to the bedroom door, a business card suddenly fell out of the pocket of his suit.
Linda Su stopped and picked up the card. Her face turned pale when she took a glance at it.
There were two words in the middle of the business card: James Yu.
Linda Su's mind went blank, and her fingers, which were holding the business card, kept trembling.
What she worried most finally happened
Four years ago, a car accident took away all of John Cheng's memories, and of course he didn't remember it.
But for Linda Su, Jin City was a forbidden area that she could only hide it at the bottom of her heart, and James Yu was the man she wanted to avoid.
Their marriage was almost broken up by James Yu's sister. Although their life seemed to be peaceful, the surging under the peace might alway exist.
"John." Linda Su nervously rubbed her hands and hurriedly stopped John Cheng who was walking to the bathroom.
The man turned around, unbuttoned his shirt and said seductively, "What's wrong? Do you want to take a shower with me? "
Looking at the evil smile on John Cheng's lips, she didn't feel happy.
Linda Su was so flustered as if a fishbone stuck in her throat. She paused and said gently, "John, a name card just fell on the ground..."
John Cheng didn't show any expression on his face. He stared at her white fingers and walked towards her.
Picking up the business card, John Cheng frowned. After taking a look at it, he went straight to the bathroom and threw it into the trash can.
He turned to smile and said indifferently, "A stranger gave it to me. I don't know him."
Her breath became rapid. She asked urgently, "Did you meet him in Jin City?"
"Yes, this man is very strange. He asked me if I remembered Miss Lisa as soon as he saw me."
Linda Su's mind was in a mess, and the great chill was surging in her body.
She was afraid of it very much, even though she knew that this kind of situation would come one day.
Noticing that Linda Su was still standing there, John Cheng walked up to her with an inexplicable expression on his face and said, "Linda, don't think too much. Maybe he has mistaken someone else for me. I took his business card just out of politeness."
After saying that, John Cheng gently kissed her on the forehead and then walked into the bathroom to take a shower.
That night, although John Cheng said that he was tired, he couldn't refrain his desire to have sex with her.
Under the soft light, he kissed Linda Su fiercely and violently.
But Linda Su was not in the mood tonight. Her mind was full of the suspicious business card.
At the same time, what made her feel strange was that John Cheng had changed his usual tenderness to treat her.
She began to feel scared, and even those memories turned into pain.
...
The night was long, and the scent of love lingered in the bedroom until Linda Su fell asleep.
Standing in the bathroom and looking at the trash can on the floor tiles, Linda Su felt uneasy again.
Perhaps it was because she had consumed too much strength last night that she woke up almost noon.
The bed in the bedroom was half empty. John Cheng had already got up and went to work.
However, what happened last night had always made Linda Su uneasy. The first thing she did when she opened her eyes was to get out of bed and look for the business card in the trash can.
In the past four years, she had never been so scared like now.
It was like a huge stone hanging over her head. Linda Su didn't know when the stone would fall, but she could see that the stone was moving.
There was no business card in the trash can, just like what happened last night was not true.
Did John Cheng take away the business card again?
All of a sudden, a sense of foreboding came over Linda Su.
Just when she was at a loss, the phone on the table suddenly rang.
"Mrs. Linda, this is Anne. Please come to the company as soon as possible. Mr. John has a headache again!"
"How could this be? How is he now?"
Linda Su's heart jolted, and her face tensed. Anxiety was written all over her face.
"Mr. John locked himself in the office. I heard him smashing things. Come here quickly!"
"Okay, I'll be right there!"
Taking a deep breath, Linda Su glanced at the empty trash can, turned around, picked up the painkiller and stumbled to the company.
Her heart clenched all the way.
Although the specific painkillers which were bought from abroad were kept at home all year round, John Cheng hadn't had a headache for a long time.
The last time was about two years ago or longer.
Linda Su was so anxious that she almost went through the red light.
On the one hand, she was worried about her husband, and on the other hand, she was afraid that John Cheng's headache this time had something to do with the missing business card.
Arriving at the company, as soon as Linda Su ran out of the elevator, she saw the assistant, Anne, standing at the door helplessly.
"Mrs. Linda, you're finally here!"
"Okay, give me the key."
Gasping for breath, Linda Su took the office key in a hurry. When she opened the door, she saw messy documents and paper scraps on the ground.
At this moment, John Cheng, who was tall and half-bowed to the sofa, stared at the pieces of coffee cup on the ground with his scarlet eyes, and clutched his hair tightly with his hands.
"Mrs. Linda, do you want to call ambulance?" Anne asked timidly when she saw the scene in the office.
Frowning, Linda Su gritted her teeth and replied, "No, the doctor can't cure his headache even if he goes to the hospital."
Then she closed the door and rushed to John Cheng with tears in her eyes.
"John, I have brought the medicine. You will be right soon!" Linda Su rushed to the sofa and hugged John Cheng.
"Fuck off!" John Cheng suddenly turned around and roared.
He pulled his hair painfully, and the blue veins on his handsome face turned red.
Tears rolled down from Linda Su's eyes. Holding John Cheng tightly, she knew that he was unconscious and couldn't recognize that the woman beside him was his wife.
"It's me, John. Take the medicine!" Linda Su held the white pill to his mouth in a hurry.
"I told that nobody would be allowed to come in. Get out!"
"Ah... !"
Linda Su screamed, and she was pushed away by John Cheng. Her head hit the desk leg heavily.
The porcelain fragments beside the table cut her palm, and her blood flowed along the wound, which dyed the documents on the ground red.
"John, please... Please take your medicine! "
The pain made Linda Su frown. Enduring the pain on her forehead and wound, she levered herself up from the desk.
After giving vent to his anger, John Cheng was much calmer than before, but his resolute face was still distorted, and his head was hard buried in the sofa, motionless.
Looking at her husband who had suffered a lot, Linda Su bit her lips, took off the silk scarf around her neck and wrapped it around the wound.
She held John Cheng's waist tightly and comforted him in a soft voice, "John, I'm Linda. I'm with you. I'll always be with you..."
John Cheng's tall and strong body trembled slightly, and he clenched her small hands behind him.
After being comforted, John Cheng didn't go crazy because of uncontrollable emotions.
Linda Su took the opportunity to take another pill for him.
After a while, the warm hand slowly loosened. Linda Su looked at John Cheng again, who had fallen asleep under the effect of the drug.
She stood up and picked up the documents on the ground one by one.
The pain from her palm aroused her nerves, but for Linda Su, as long as John Cheng could recover, it didn't matter even if she was covered with bruises.
Most importantly, she hoped that John Cheng would never think of the past.
The folded documents were put back on the desk. When Linda Su turned around to clean up the broken pieces of the coffee cup, she was suddenly attracted by a photo lying in the corner.
She walked over curiously, and the face on the photo became clearer and clearer.
"Lisa... Lisa... "
Staring at the pretty girl on the photo, Linda Su's face suddenly turned pale.
"I'm sorry, Linda..."
After a short rest on the sofa, John woke up, and his headache had disappeared. Looking at the broken palm of Linda's hand, he felt heartbroken.
Linda smiled, "It's good that you are fine. Just bandage the wound, and it will recover soon."
"Linda, when I had a headache, did you think I was a stranger to you?"
John patted his forehead remorsefully and held Linda in his arms, kissing her hair gently.
Linda shook her head slightly, but her heart was as restless as a boat on the sea.
After losing his memory, John forgot the past, and he also forgot his hatred for her.
Later, she took John to the north, far away from the city they were familiar with.
Before leaving, Linda used all her connections to seal up his personal information and forged a new identity for him.
Although he was still John, he was another person from then on.
He was born and raised in L City, and his parents died when he was young. He started a small company from scratch.
And she and John grew up together in an orphanage.
Seeing that there was no response from Linda, John said in a low voice, "I'm sorry, Linda. I didn't mean to hurt you. Sometimes I feel that I am strange. After all, that accident has erased all my previous memories..."
Linda nodded with a smile. She breathed the familiar scent from the man's suit, and her eyes flashed with melancholy.
James's name card and Lisa Yu's photo were like two thorns in her heart, getting deeper and deeper.
At first, she planned not to go back to Jin City with John for the rest of her life, leaving all their love and hatred there.
However, fate had always followed an established path.
"John, why do you have a headache all of a sudden?" Linda asked, pretending to be calm.
"I don't know. After the meeting, I went back to my office and sat down. It suddenly hurt." John's eyes were gentle and sincere, and a faint smile appeared on Linda's face.
At this time, the phone on the desk suddenly rang. As soon as John opened his mouth, it was interrupted by the ringtone.
"John, go ahead with your work. Put the painkillers by your side. If you feel uncomfortable, tell me immediately!"
Linda glanced at John worriedly, got up from his arms and tightened the knot on the gauze.
But her heart was as clear as crystal. Of course, there was a reason for John's headache.
The photo was the best evidence.
When Linda walked to the door, she heard John's gentle voice behind her,
"Linda, I want to have your specialty Longjing Shrimp for dinner."
"Okay, I'll go to the supermarket to buy some food on my way home."
That night, Linda prepared a table of dishes and waited on the sofa.
The clock was ticking on the wall. She stared at the Longjing shrimp on the table. It had turned cold from steaming hot.
Eight o'clock, nine o'clock...
At ten o'clock, John still didn't come back.
Finally, Linda couldn't help but pick up the phone she had already dialed. Soon, John's voice came from the other side,
"Linda, why you call me?"
His voice was cold and indifferent.
All of a sudden, Linda calmed down and felt sad.
"Well, John, it's late now. Why haven't you come back yet?" She raised her eyes to look at the table full of cold dishes, with a sense of loss between her eyebrows.
John answered impatiently, "I have a lot of work to do in the company today. I'll be home in an hour."
"Okay, I'll wait for you..."
The light in the living room was dim, but the disappointment on Linda's face didn't disappear.
It took her two hours to prepare the dinner, but John forgot.
Thinking of the photo, Linda became more panic. She was afraid that John would think of the girl in the photo.
After all, Lisa Yu used to be the daughter-in-law of the Cheng family, and she even had his child.
When Linda went back to the bedroom, she stood on the balcony as if she had been there last night.
She stared at the road outside the villa, but after a long time, she could see nothing, and there was still dark.
The cold early spring attacked Linda's body. Finally, she was tired and lay on the bed to rest.
Her messy thoughts did not stop for a moment, and she fell asleep with wisps of sadness.
After a while, in a daze, Linda felt a pair of cold hands gently stroking her face.
John came back.
When Linda opened her eyes, she saw his charming black eyes staring at her.
"John, have you been busy till now? Do you want me to heat the dishes for you? "
A faint smile appeared on Linda's face. Somehow, she felt a trace of anxiety in John's eyes that she hadn't seen for a long time.
The last time was four years ago, when his mother was rescued in the emergency room.
John pursed his lips and gave a cold smile.
Then his eyes darkened and his tone became serious, "Linda, have you seen a photo?"
"..."
The sudden question sobered Linda up.
"Which photo?"
"Did you see a photo in my office today?" John's voice was cold, and the smile on his lips suddenly disappeared.
"I didn't see it. Whose photo is it?"
The two thorns in her heart suddenly pricked deeper, but the smile on Linda's face did not change.
John rolled his cold eyes and said indifferently, "Well, well... I'm going to take a shower. "
Looking at his receding figure, Linda suddenly trembled.
Soon there was the sound of water from the bathroom. She sat on the bed, dizzy.
Linda couldn't figure out whether the business card of last night and today's photo were the beginning of a nightmare or the reappearance of a nightmare.
She didn't want to recall those dark days.
In fact, there was no difference between them.
The only thing that confused her now was how many things John remembered when he saw Lisa Yu's face. How did John get this photo?
But it was certain that the door of the prison that imprisoned John's memory was opening one after another.
"Linda, let's sleep."
While she was thinking, she heard the voice of John getting closer and closer.
His short hair was wet, and his handsome face was white after bathing.
"Okay, go to sleep..." Linda sighed.
Turning off the bedside lamp, the bedroom suddenly sank into darkness.
In the dead of night, Linda heard her phone ringing in her sleep.
She opened her eyes sleepily, and there was indeed a glimmer of light in the darkness.
Linda wanted to stand up to get her phone.
"What's wrong...? "
At this time, John also woke up and asked in a lazy voice with strong sleepiness.
"Someone is calling. Maybe it's a crank call. I want to mute my phone." Linda covered her mouth, yawned and was about to get up.
"Have a good rest. I'll turn off your phone." John's voice was cold and unquestionable.
The phone was still ringing in the quiet night. John got out of bed and walked to the left.
When Linda lay on the bed for a long time, John still stood there with something in his hand.
"What are you doing, John?" She looked at the light, trying to see what was going on, but she could see nothing.
The bedroom fell into silence.
Looking at the stiff figure of John on the ground, Linda frowned in confusion.
"John, are you not feeling well?" She asked softly with concern, and then she got up from the bed and walked to John.
The phone stopped ringing. Under the dim moonlight outside the window, Linda saw her phone lying quietly in the opened handbag.
And the photo in John's hand was the one she put in the handbag casually in the daytime.
Linda's lips suddenly tightened, and she couldn't say a word.
The bedroom fell into silence, and two figures, one tall and one short, stood in the darkness like statues.
Linda looked at the man beside her, with no expression on his face and a thin layer of frost in his cold eyes.
Fear came from her heart. Perhaps it was because of the cool night or because of the fear in her heart, she trembled. She could even hear her heartbeat now.
Finally, John spoke first, squeezing out a few words from his teeth, "Why do you lie?"
"..."
Linda was speechless. She didn't want to say it, nor did she dare.
"Explain... Why did you lie to me? " John suddenly raised his voice, and his sharp voice echoed in the bedroom.
"..."
This time, it was Linda who kept silent.
She knew clearly that the reason why John came back home late at night was not because of work, but because he was looking for the missing photo in the company's office.
In order to see Lisa Yu's face, he forgot that his wife was waiting for him and he forgot to promise her to go home in an hour.
Four years ago, he had forgotten everything, but four years later, he still broke his promise to his wife for this woman.
"Keep silent?" John's eyes were straight, and his tone turned from cold to sullen, "Explain the phone call to me right now!"
As if Linda's heart was grasped, she was stunned and answered, "I don't know."
The dim light of the phone lit up the faces of the two people. John's face was as pale as death, and his dim eyes were terrible.
"Look at it by yourself!"
The phone was put in the hand of Linda rudely. She looked down uneasily and saw several lines of words.
"Do you think you can hide for a lifetime? Do you think you can keep him forever by hiding the truth? He will remember who you are one day. "
What happened in the past flashed back in front of Linda's eyes, and the words on the message gradually blurred in her eyes.
All of a sudden, she realized that she had never woken up from a nightmare. In the past four years, she had just had a beautiful dream in a nightmare.
"Tell me, what did you hide from me?" John gritted his teeth and said in a cold voice again.
Linda felt as if her brain was in a vacuum and her body was falling.
"Tell me! Don't pretend to be dumb! What did you hide from me? Why did you lie to me? " With a darkened face, John caught the woman with his hands.
He spoke faster and faster, and his cold voice was like ice pitons stabbing into her heart.
Linda felt that she was about to fall apart. She was shaken violently by John, and her slender arms were clenched more and more tightly by his powerful hands.
"Sorry, I lied. I lied to you. But you also lied. You know why your head hurts! "
Linda raised her voice and questioned angrily.
John kept silent and slowly loosened his hand.
The bedroom was quiet again. He picked up the cigarette on the table and lit it up, and his cold eyes darkened under the bright light.
A wisp of smoke floated in the moonlight. John turned around, leaned against the table, waved his hand and pointed ahead, "Sit down first!"
Slowly, Linda walked to the bedside and sat down. Her mind seemed to be immersed in water, suppressed by a strong pressure.
She calmed down and asked in confusion, "John, tell me, who gave you the photo?"
Hearing Linda's question, John took a deep drag on his cigarette. His face was as dark as a black lake.
"You ask me? How do I know? " John's voice sounded mean but sincere, "In the morning meeting, Anne brought it to me from the reception, and the photo was put in an envelope."
His answer was like a bolt from the blue.
A sharp pain came from her temple. Linda frowned and didn't expect that they would come so soon.
A chill rose in Linda's heart. Maybe Lisa had come to this city.
Or her brother, James.
Linda thought the plan was perfect, but four years later, they were found.
John slowly exhaled the smoke from his mouth, and stared at Linda with his cold eyes. He snapped, "It's your turn. I have to hear a satisfactory answer!"
"Because... The person on the photo belongs to the past. Everything was caused by her. I don't want to... Our life will be disturbed... " Linda said in a timid voice. She was really scared by him.
Squinting his cold eyes, John thought of the strange number on her phone.
"Is this your reply? So every word on the message is true? " John sneered, and his voice was full of danger.
Linda sat on the edge of the bed in silence.
The sound of extinguishing the cigarette rang in the ashtray. John took a deep breath and put the cigarette in the ashtray.
Then he rushed to Linda with his cold eyes.
He had no intention of lying to his wife.
But John had to figure out why the photo made him tremble and why Linda had never mentioned this woman to him in the past four years.
"Tell me, who is the woman on the photo?" John's voice was as cold as ice, and his fists made a clear sound.
"John, if you love me, you'd better stop asking about the past. We are living a happy life now, aren't we?" Linda pursed her lips and smiled bitterly. Tears streamed down her cheeks when she thought of her previous forbearance and grievance.
She couldn't imagine what would happen when John regained his memory one day.
As far as Linda could remember, Lisa had imputed the death of John's mother to her.
She would never forget John's ferocious face, strangling her throat and asking her to die with his mother.
"Yes, I am very happy." John sneered, and the anger in his eyes reached the verge of breaking down.
Then his eyes darkened. He grabbed Linda's collar and roared, "But I'm happy because I know nothing about everything! I don't even know who I am. Do you take me as a fool? Answer me! "
The harsh voice echoed in Linda's ears, and her temples were painful as if she was pierced by a needle. She covered her face and cried bitterly, "If you think of the past, our peaceful life will be gone, and you will still be as painful as before and suffer a lot."
John's eyes narrowed. He pulled her chin and said firmly, "This is my business. It has nothing to do with you! I have to know who I am. This is my basic right when I was born! "
With tearful eyes, Linda sneered sadly. This day finally came...
"Okay, I'll tell you! If you regret one day, remember that this is your own choice! " She laughed loudly, which sounded particularly sad in the cool night.
John didn't change his expression and stared at her tearful face.
Linda bit her lips and seemed to have made up her mind.
She tried to keep calm and said, "John, we moved to L City later. We used to live in Jin City. You are not an orphan and have never been poor. On the contrary, you are the most enviable man in Jin City... "
Four years ago, when John took over the Cheng Group, he became the youngest president in Jin City.
In this city, he had an enviable family and blessed love until Lisa appeared.
"Go on. Who are you? You told me that you grew up in an orphanage. " John said coldly.
Linda sighed and smiled bitterly. Who was she?
"We have watched a movie produced by the HY Entertainment Company on TV. My father is the boss of this company. We were classmates in college and were engaged before we graduated. But later, it was all ruined by that woman..."
Confused, John stared at Linda sharply, "You mean the woman on the photo has destroyed our relationship?"
Linda nodded and gently wiped away the tears on her face.
Hearing this, John suddenly grabbed his hair remorsefully, like a wild cat, but he still couldn't remember anything.
But he knew what kind of person Linda was and was willing to believe his wife.
John didn't ask any more questions. After a moment of silence, he suddenly held Linda in his arms and said apologetically, "I'm sorry, Linda. My attitude was bad just now. But don't worry. We have been together day and night for four years. No one can destroy our relationship again."
Although Linda was moved by his words, she couldn't calm down.
What should come must come. Would John still say that when he thought of everything?
Linda didn't expect that this night was the last time John had shown her his warmth.
In the following days, John went out early and came back late every day, for the reason that he was always very busy in the company.
He had less time at home. Every day, Linda prepared a dinner with expectations, and on the second day, she poured it into the trash can one by one.
John was indifferent to her. Every night when he went home late, he would fall asleep and leave early in the morning.
It was miserable for Linda to wait for him every day. Then, Linda couldn't reach John when she called him.
Linda endured for a week. She didn't want to deceive herself. She didn't want to deceive herself that John still loved the family as before and paid all his attention to her.
In the afternoon, it was raining outside.
Wearing a beige windbreaker, Linda drove to John's company.
"I'm sorry, Mrs. Linda. Mr. John is calling a client in his office." Anne's answer was ambiguous.
"It doesn't matter. Even if I enter without permission, he won't blame you." With a smile on her lips, Linda pushed the door open and walked in under Anne's helpless gaze.
It was cloudy outside and the light in the office was dim.
Sitting against the light, John leaned back on the seat and sipped coffee. The phone on the other side of the desk was in dead silence.
"John, Anne said you were talking on the phone. It seems that I misheard her." As soon as Linda entered the room, she directly exposed John's lie.
John smiled disapprovingly and said, "It's me who ask Anne to say that. Can I be alone?"
Linda sneered, pretended to understand and nodded. She walked to his desk unhurriedly.
Looking at the calm expression on John's face when he took a sip of coffee, she suddenly felt her throat tightened and couldn't say anything.
"It's raining today. Why do you come to the company?" John looked impatient.
"Nothing. I just passed by your company when I was shopping." Linda lied.
At this moment, in addition to the faint aroma of coffee in the air, she faintly smelled the sweet and greasy smell of lady perfume around John.
Linda lowered her head and thought for a while. Anne didn't have this kind of smell, and she seldom used perfume when she was free at home.
The only answer was that there had been another woman in the office not long ago.
Putting down the coffee, John's face softened, but his voice was still cold, "It's not a good day. Go home early. I'm going to entertain my client tonight."
As soon as he finished speaking, Linda frowned, raised her voice, and asked, "Is a female client? The perfume on her is so strong. Your suit is tainted with the perfume. "
John was stunned, with his pupils slightly narrowed, but his face was still calm.
After a moment of silence, he suddenly held Linda's soft hand and changed his attitude, "Don't think too much. There's just a female client coming to discuss a contract with me. I have such a virtuous wife. Do I need to flirt with other women outside?"
Taking her hand back slowly, Linda smiled and raised her tone on purpose, "In that case, we can invite your client to dinner tonight together. Didn't you often take me with you when you were in business before?"
John didn't go home for dinner for a week, and he entertained clients every day. In the past four years, he had never been so busy.
His words were too perfunctory. Perhaps for John, he didn't want to think about a reason to deceive Linda.
"What do you mean? If you don't believe me, just say it. Don't beat around the bush! " Suddenly, John was annoyed and turned around to stare at a corner of the desk.
"I don't doubt you. I just don't know since when I couldn't go out together with you." Linda retorted confidently.
She didn't want to admit that she was afraid, but now she really felt afraid.
The perfume on John lingered for a long time, and the sweet smell reminded her of the past.
In the past, this kind of ambiguous and charming smell haunted John, and Lisa liked this kind of perfume very much.
"Linda, you have changed!" John frowned and said disappointedly, "You've become unreasonable now!"
Linda was rendered speechless.
Then she couldn't help but laugh.
John felt that she had changed, but he seemed to have a good impression of himself.
"I'm unreasonable? Then why do you regard our home as a hotel this week? " Linda felt wronged and retorted.
John glanced at her coldly, picked up the coffee cup and drank it up.
"There's no point in talking more. I'm going to have a meeting now. It's up to you whether you go home or not."
After saying that, John stood up from the chair with cold eyes. Her tall and strong body brushed against the shoulder of Linda indifferently.
Bang! The office door was closed tightly.
All of a sudden, Linda turned around. At the same time, the sound of John's footsteps faded away.
She was left alone in the spacious office. Linda walked to the sofa and picked up a long blond hair on it. Her nose twitched as if she was soaked in jealousy.
