Aiden's Revengeful Bride

Inside a rusty old mansion, the squeaking sound the old crackly wooden stairs made, could be heard with every tip toeing step Valentina took down it.

She could hear the stomping sound, her heart made against her chest, as it beats hard in fear, while she makes her way towards the old mansion gates.

This was the opportunity she had dreamt of forever.

"What the fuck happened?" Elton yelled, making her shrink in fear, quickly hiding herself behind the stairs.

"Why the fuck was she left alone in the room, in the first place." Elton grabbed one of the men collar in anger.

He was few hours from getting pounded alive. If the information about the missing girl gets to the head, then he was done for sure.

"I needed to use the rest room boss; I swear I don't know how she got out." The man shivers in fear, scared he was about to lose his life.

"You all are fucking useless. You go over there, the rest come with me, if she a left the mansion, she won't have gone far then." Elton ordered.

Valentina waited a little long before dashing out of her hiding place. Reaching the mansion gates, she turned back and stared at the gigantic window of one of the mansion's rooms, to see a figure standing there with a smile on the lips, waving back at her.

She raised her hand, waving, she bowed in gratitude, before dashing out of the gates, happy to leave behind all the hurtful memories behind.

She was about to start a new phrase of her life, she doesn't know how, but one thing was for sure, she was free from the continuous sexual assault, days of torture and starvation.

She had on a whitish flower printed, floor length gown on. The gown now stains with blood, which was a prove of how much pain she had endured with her hair tattered and shattered all around.

She ran through the hard tiled dark and quiet streets as fast as she could, wishing to get far away as possible from the horror.

The sound of the tyer crenching hard against, made her heart skip, as she turns towards the flashing light heading towards her.

She felt the hit, and intense pain like never before spread through her entire body, making her sleepy.

She wasn't stranger to this king of sleep, but for the first time in a long time, she tired her best o stop herself from sleeping.

She was jut at the brick of freedom; she couldn't give up now. She repeated severally in her head, as her eyes slowly shut.

At the other side of the Audi A8, was a handsome drunk young man, who had his head on the steering wheels, with blood dripping slowly from the side of his head.

He groans from then pain he felt, lifting his head up, he saw just in time, the face of the lady, she had on a white gown, with a face as pretty as a fairy.

He watches as her body lowly, falls to the wet street floor, his eyes cloudy as well, he lays his head back on the wheel shutting them, but not before making a silent prayer for her.

**********AT NOVACARE HOSPITAL*********

The ambulance arrived at the hospital and two body were pulled out and placed on a stretcher, before being wheeld in.

One of the bodies was a familiar and well know person. The nurses gasped looking at each other, before one of the ran out to inform the director.

"Dr Norwell, we have a situation downstairs, that needs quick attention." The nurse informed barging into office.

"What's wrong?" the man asked getting up on his feet, walking downstairs.

"Aiden Reynolds the owner of Starforge was rushed in here a few minutes ago, he seems to have loosed a lot of blood already, we need to arrange the special doctors." She informed.

It took few moments for arrangements to be made, and one was in the heater treated by special doctors, while one was in the other, being treated be doctors and interns.

"Get in touch with the Reynolds, we have a blood problem." One of the doctors informed.

Few hours later......

"We couldn't get in touch with any of her family, but I assure you Mrs Reynolds that I have the situation, no one is going to say a word about the blood we took out from her." The director said in an act to please the woman in front of him.

It was their last result, Aiden's bank blood was a hard one to find, leaving them with no other option but to withdraw from his victims body, after finding out it marches his.

The woman nodded her head with a sad look on her face. She felt guilty, but she had chosen her own son a thousand times before any other stranger wellbeing.

"We need to inform the Boss, or else we are all going to get into trouble." One of the men from earlier said, panting from the stress of running around to look for the girl.

"Get me the phone quick." Elton stated staring into space.

Valetina was someone they weren't supposed to lose, scratch the fact that she had a terrible father. Mr Cloud was sill going to have all their heads.

Inside the Williams mansion, an old man was on the bed, with three naked ladies around him.

"Boss." The phone was handed over to him.

"Capo. The girl went missing and we can't find her Signore." Elton spoke in a shaky voice.

(Capo is Italian for Boss and Signore is Sir.)

"What the fuck do you mean she went missing Elton." Cloude barked into the phone, throwing down the naked lady he had on his laps.

"I don't fucking care what you are going to do. Find her within 24 hours, or you all are going to replace her in that freaking cell, I call my mansion." He yelled, before the phone went dead, leaving a very pale Elton on the other side of the screen.

Back at Novacare Hospital

"There are bruises everyway on here body, that why we had to test for the blood before giving it to Aiden." Dr Norwell said, showing Mrs Reynold Valentina's 's scan result.

"As anyone reach out to claim her yet?" she asked.

Dr Norwell shook his head before taking a deep breathe. Valentina as been having problem and without a family member no action cold be taken on her. They already crossed the line by taking a lot of blood from her.

The blood bank taken from the lady could be covered, but definitely not an operation. He couldn't avoid to risk both the clinic license and his.

"What do you think?" Mrs Reynold asked, signals at the scans and pictures placed on Dr Norwell's table.

"I think it's assault and it looks like, it's started a long time ago." He replied honestly. Deep inside he was worried for the delicate lady laying unconscious in the room.

Mrs Starforge nodded her head, getting up her feet, she stood up, leaving the room to check up on Aiden.

Valentina Subconscious

I have so many regrets, so many things I wish I had done. I want another chance, another go at life. Mother, you wish me the best life, but it seems like I lived the opposite. Every step of life was as if I was destined for hell.

I don't want to go like this, why do the bad once have to win in life. For the first time I want to be happy, I want win and most importantly I want to live. She whispered to herself inwardly, as she feels her soul leaving her body.

"Help me mother." She whispers out, before everything turned black.

Mrs Starforge, placed her hand on her heavy chest, staring at the waiting room, were Valentina's body was kept for was while, she walking back into Dr Norwell's office.

"Treat her. The Starforge's are going to take responsibility for whatever happens." She said with a determined expression.

"Also no one gets to see, even family and that's a direct order I'm placing as the Chairwoman of the Starforge's."

Chapter Two

Two weeks later....

Aiden sat on the hospital bed, his blank gaze on maid carefully folding his clothes. He was ready to leave, but still couldn't help his mind stay focus.

He couldn't take his mind off the lady he had hit. He never met her, but his mom had told him all about her, and he couldn't help but wonder why his heart kept clutching and feeling heavy whenever he thought of her.

"I want to visit her." He finally spoke out, after several days.

Mrs Starforge looked at her son shocked. The fact he cared enough to want to see the lady was shocking to her. Aiden was one who believed everything could be solved with money and not feelings. But she had noticed his expression ever since she had scolded him about the mysterious girl he had hit that night.

"What room is she?" he asked, dipping his hands into his pocket, as he gently strolled out of the room.

"She must've be back to her room right, we was supposed to get an internal checkup before her surgery." Mrd Starforge said with a smile on her face.

"She there. Why don't you go check on her alone, while I fill out the necessary document, before leaving." She said tapping her sons shoulders before making her way towards, the reception to fill out the forms.

Aiden walks into her, shutting the door as quietly as possible, he walks to the unconscious lady on the bed, staring at her.

She looked so fragile, like a delicate flower that needed to be kept well. The scar on her body was a sign of how much pain she had gone through.

He prayed silently again in his heart, that she would wake up.

He had just lost his sister, and he couldn't bear the pain of knowing that he was about to cause the dead another fragile person.

He was already broken, but his soul won't be able to handle this.

Dr Norwell walks into the room, to find Aiden staring at the lady, he walks towards them, placing a hand on Aiden's shoulder to encourage him.

"Don't overthink it, we are going to save this one Aiden." He assured him.

Some nurses entered the room, disconnecting the wire against Valentina's body and gently rolling her out of the room for her operation.

"Please do keep me updated on her." Aiden said in a low voice before walking out.

One week later.....

Mrs Starforge enters Nova hospital, making her way straight towards Valentina's room, oblivious of the old man calling out her name.

She sat beside the girl on the bed, gently taking the towel from the nurse's hand, and wiping the girl's skin.

She couldn't explain why she had developed a sudden sense of protection and need for care towards the stranger on the bed. But she knew one thing, that this girl had reminded her so much of her daughter she had just lost.

A knock came on the room door, interrupting her thoughts, she looks towards the door, a gentle smile formed on her lips at the sight of the familiar face.

"Mr. Ekron, a pleasure to see you here." She called out, getting up from her seat.

Mr. Ekron was one of the Starforge personal bodyguards, he was placed on retirement due to his old age, but she couldn't help but to be surprise what exactly he was doing inside Valetina's room.

"Mrs. Starforge, a pleasure to see you too." He said taking her hand for a handshake.

"I saw down in the hospital longue, but it seems your mind was far off, as you couldn't hear." He said with a smile.

"I was worried so I decided to follow you and check if everything was alright." He continued, before looking behind her, trying to get a better look as to who was on the bed.

He knew they had just lost their daughter Chole, so he was curious to know who exactly she was wiping her body so fondly.

"Oh! Well Aiden got into an accident few weeks ago, and his victim is yet to recover." She answered with a sad smile, walking towards Valentina, as Mr. Ekron followed behind.

"Chole death must have had a great impact on Aiden, he's not one to behave reckless before." Mr Ekron said with a smile on his, that quickly faded once he saw the girl on the bed.

It was Mr. Clouse daughter, he thought looking at her.

What was she doing here?

He very much knew Cloude wasn't going to let her run off on her own. He had worked beside that man for so, long to know the bitter love-hatred he had for his daughter.

It looks like the Starforge might not know who she is yet, as Valentina was kept in her father's mansion for most of the period of her life.

"Do you know her? Have you contacted her family yet?" he asked, and Mrs. Starforge shook her head, confirming his thoughts.

Valentina must have successfully ran away from Cloude, he thought.

"Mr. Ekron!" Mrs. Starforge called out loud, after asking a question and getting no reply from the man beside her.

"Is everything alright? I was asking what brought to Nova?" she asked again with a concern look on her face.

"Oh everything is alright ma'am, just here for some few checkup that's all." He replied with a smile, before excusing his self.

Willams Mansion......

"What's the status? Have you found her yet?" Mr. Cloude asked, taking his seat in his luxurious living room.

"No sir." Elton stuttered a bit.

This was the first time he was having a problem finding someone, it was almost as if Valentina had vanished into thin air.

They had checked the streets cameras but still nothing, the security department had told them that the cameras weren't functioning that night.

"Do you have a death wish?" Mr. Cloude asked with a side eyes.

"Sorry sir." Elton replied immediately.

"I need you to go get me someone, he owning over a million dollar and he thinks he is smart enough to invade me." Mr. Cloude puffed out the cigarette smoke from his mouth his jaw clenching in anger.

Elton nodded, collecting the address before going with his men.

Few minutes later...

A sweaty man with blood flowing down the side of his face was brought to Cloude feet, fear evident in his eyes, as his body shakes with fear.

"Mr. Cloude please, pardon me. Just give me a little more time." He begged on his knees.

Mr. Cloude throws away the almost finished cigarette in his hands, before pulling out his gun, pointing it towards the man's head.

"Wait wait, I have another idea." The man screamed fast, in order to save himself.

"Your daughter Valentina. I know where she is." He said quickly.

"She with the Starforge Mr. Cloude and you know how tight their security is, you yourself could not break into their place. But me on the other hand I could go in whenever I want." The man said hurriedly.

"What are you trying to say. Should I spare you and you give you 1 millionaire because you can get a worthless daughter back to me." Mr Cloude asked sarcastically.

"No of course not, I'm just asking you spare my life for now and give me some more time to get the money, in exchange I would bring your daughter." The old man said pleading.

Mr. Cloude thought for a while before pulling out his phone, setting a timer on it, he showed the man with a smirk on his face,

"It is the time you have, before your head rolls on the floor Ekron."

Adien paced around his living room, he got a call that someone had messed up Valentina's drugs and her condition was currently unstable.

He took his car keys, unable to bear the suspense any further, and drove to Nova.

She was still in the operation room when he got there, so he helplessly stood in front of the room, with his back against the wall.

Dr Norwell scrubbed his hands carefully, preparing for the delicate surgery ahead.

he looks at the clock on the wall it was 8:15am.

" let's be careful her skin is very delicate " he said his team as they arrange in the sterile, brightly light operating room.

" nurse Elena vasquez gave Dr Norwell his gloves and the surgical mask, his expression was calm and focused.

" vitals are stable " Elena said adjusting the monitors that is tracking valentina heart rate, blood pressure and oxygen levels.

The anesthesiologist, Dr Thompson, gave the anesthesia making sure valentina was fully unconscious.

" let's start with the femur" Dr Norwell directed. he carefully made an incision along the side of valentina's thigh, exposing her broken bone.

" Retractor " he requested and nurse Carter quickly gave him the instrument.

Dr Norwell gently aligned the bone fragments, using a metal rod and screws to stabilise the femur.

" internal fixation complete" he announced after tighten the last screw.

" Now let's move to the ribs" he said.

" Dr Norwell her vitals are going up really fast" Elena replied, her voice was tense .

" she's crashing!" elena shouted, her voice cutting through the tense silence.

" clamp that artery!" Norwell ordered, her hands moving swiftly to locate the source of the bleeding.

valentina's condition was increasing very fast by every seconds that pass by.

Elena gave Dr Norwell a clamp and she applied it with care.

the bleeding slowly stopped but her vitals still remains unstable.

Dr Norwell's mind raced through the possibilities of her surviving.

" Give me another unit of blood" Dr Norwell called out . " and also prepare the defibrillator just in case.

the nurses were working effectively which made the work easier.

"Blood pressure is still too high "nurse Carter said, worry in her voice.

" Administer another dose of the sedative we need to keep her calm. " Norwell ordered again.

After given her the sedative her vitals began to stabilise.

Dr Norwell was so relieved. let's finish up. we need to repair the lungs and stop the internal bleeding.

Dr Norwell was done with the surgery but valentina was still weak so she was taking to the ICU.

After several hours of waiting, Valentina was wheeled out of the operation room, with Dr Norwell following behind.

"Can we talk in my office a bit." He requested, and Aiden followed him.

"We have a serious issue. It seems Valentina body had went through series of internal injuries before she got here. We need to perform an operation fast and that can only be done, if someone related to her signs the form." Dr Norwell informed.

"Why? Can't you do it with my Mom acting as a guardian?" Aiden asked.

"I afraid I can't risk it. The International team are coming over and my license can be revoked if I get caught." Dr Norwell explained and the place went quiet for some time, before Aiden broke the silence.

"What if we got married, can I then sign them." Aiden asked after a while.
