Chapter 1 Sign the divorce papers

Jessica paced about in the living room, waiting for her husband, Dylan Robinson, to return home from work.

She was a beautiful, chubby, fair-skinned woman, and she had been married to Dylan for five years. She had been submissive, loving, and had taken care of their home and two kids. Yet, all of a sudden, Dylan had changed.

Jessica had a son and a daughter with Dylan. Her first son, Caleb, was a five-year-old boy, while her second child, Nina, was a two-year-old girl, and they were fast asleep in their separate bedrooms.

For two nights, after Dylan left for work on Monday morning, Jessica hadn't seen her husband return home, as she had noticed that his mood had changed before he left the house.

Jessica stood in the living room and placed a call to Dylan to find out where he was, but the network provider told her, "Sorry, the mobile number you're trying to call is unavailable at the moment. Please try again later."

"Oh! Where could Dylan be?" Jessica cursed as she had called Dylan's phone line several times, and she really needed to see her husband.

She had lied to their two kids that their father had gone to work on Monday morning. Yet, Dylan hadn't returned home at all, and she couldn't continue to keep up with her lies.

Jessica heard the sound of a car driving into their compound and parking. She went outside, peeked, and saw that Dylan had returned home.

She sighed and went back into the house to wait for Dylan to come inside.

Soon, Dylan stepped out of his car and walked into the mansion. He was a 30-year-old Black man, and he owned DY Mobile Company.

He entered the living room and saw his wife, Jessica Albert, standing there in her long white nightgown, and she greeted him, "Welcome home, sweetheart."

"Hmm," Dylan frowned.

He looked at the divorce papers in his hands that his long-time lover, Rosie Andrew, had given him to give to Jessica at home and to divorce her straight.

Dylan walked up to meet Jessica without responding to her greeting. He stopped in front of her, shoved the divorce papers into her hands, and told her, "I cannot continue to pretend with you anymore, Jessica. You read through these divorce papers, sign them, as you pack your things tomorrow, and return to your father's house. You can leave with our kids if you want to, or you can leave them behind and go alone, but make sure that you pack your things tomorrow and leave! I will give you some shares from my company's revenue and pay you off later, but this marriage is over between us, so leave."

"What!" Jessica was taken aback by her husband's statement, and she looked at the divorce papers in her hands.

"Is this a dream?" Jessica wondered and stared up at Dylan as she saw him walk away toward the living room stairs.

Instead of Dylan explaining to her where he had been for the three days and two nights that she hadn't seen him, as he was just returning home now, he had shoved the divorce papers into her hands and ordered her to sign them.

Jessica snapped out of her trance and quickly called Dylan back. She asked him, "Wait, Dylan. What's the meaning of this? You just got home now, and instead of you explaining to me where you went, you're speaking to me about divorce. What has come over you, Dylan? What did I do wrong to you?"

Jessica looked teary, and Dylan paused and turned back to face her. He asked her, "Have you taken a good look at yourself lately in the mirror, Jessica?"

Jessica was puzzled by her husband's question and stared at herself from head to toe to understand what he meant.

"Are you the same woman that I married five years ago? Take a good look at yourself, Jessica. You have turned fat overnight, and I cannot continue with you anymore! I cannot carry you and make love to you the way I want, as you have outgrown me, and that's just the truth! This marriage is not working anymore. So, you sign the divorce paper and leave!" Dylan spat in a cold voice and turned to walk away toward the living room stairs.

Jessica replied, "No, Dylan! We cannot divorce. I love you, and I'm already working on myself."

Jessica was a banker before she met Dylan, but after giving birth to Nina, she started gaining weight at home. Dylan had complained that she had turned lazy and had mandated her to quit her job and look after their two kids at home, stating that she wouldn't be leaving all the work to the maid alone.

Dylan had sent the poor maid away, and Jessica had thought that the maid had done something wrong, but the maid was innocent.

Dylan had insisted that Jessica must cook his food and spend time with their kids, and Jessica had happily done all that if it would make their marriage work and please Dylan. Yet, Dylan was filing for a divorce now.

Jessica cried, "No, Dylan! I cannot divorce you. After five years of our marriage, no! This cannot be happening to us."

Dylan paused and replied, "Just sign the divorce papers and leave, Jessica! I'm not the first man to divorce his wife, and I won't be the last man either."

Jessica tearfully asked, "What did I do wrong to you, Dylan? Why do you want to end our marriage?"

Dylan turned and spat, "You've turned ugly, Jessica, and not the same woman that I married before, so leave!"

"What!" Jessica was shocked at Dylan's statement to her, and she looked at her husband's face in disbelief. As he smelled of alcohol, and she could see the red lipstick color on his lips.

Jessica didn't want to believe that her husband was already cheating on her. She asked him, "What did you just say, Dylan? That I'm ugly now? Really?"

"Yes, Jessica! Or am I lying to you? Was this how I married you before? Agreed that you're a billionaire's daughter, and your father helped me in the past to establish myself, so what? I cannot continue to pretend with you anymore as you have turned fat and not the kind of wife that I want to have at home again or be coming back home to meet either, so leave!" Dylan spat in a cold tone, and Jessica's heart broke into pieces at his final remarks to her.

Tears freely streamed down from her eyes and wet the divorce papers in her hands.

She sobbed, "No, Dylan. I cannot accept this divorce. I think you're getting it all wrong, as it's not my fault that I'm fat now. Some women usually turn fat too after their children's birth, and it's not a disease."

Dylan climbed the living room stairs and paused as he stared back at Jessica. He saw that she indeed looked so innocent in her long white nightgown, and she wasn't really fat before when he initially married her.

He replied, "I cannot continue to pretend with you anymore, Jessica, so you take your time and read through the divorce papers, and you sign them. I acknowledge all your efforts in making our marriage work, and all your family's efforts in supporting us in the past and present, but this marriage isn't working anymore. And I cannot continue to sleep outside of my matrimonial home or to pay for a hotel room when I have a luxurious duplex mansion here as my home. So sign the divorce paper and leave!"

Dylan climbed the living room stairs and went back upstairs to the master bedroom that he shared with Jessica, leaving only Jessica standing alone in the living room and staring at the divorce papers in her hands.

Jessica looked at the living room wall clock and saw that it was already after 11 p.m. Yet, Dylan was just returning home from work, and she knew that his company usually closed by 5 p.m.

She screamed out, "No, Dylan!!! This cannot be happening to us. We can never divorce! Never!"

Tears freely rolled down from her eyes and wet the divorce papers in her hands. She said, "You cannot divorce me now, Dylan! I'm not like this before, and I cannot turn thin overnight just to please you and fụck you the way you want...!"

Jessica fell backward onto one of the living room black couches behind her back, as they had seven black couches in their living room, and she remembered the first day that she had met Dylan.

Dylan was a handsome Black man, very trustworthy, friendly, and the kind of man that every other lady out there would pray to have.

In the initial stages of their relationship, Dylan was sweet and romantic to her, and he never got tired in bed with her. As he made her want him, and she couldn't withstand his sèxual prowess either.

If anyone had told her then that Dylan would one day break up with her or divorce her now, Jessica would have cursed the person as a hater, as she had dated Dylan for two years before they got married.

But now, Dylan wanted to divorce her and end their five years of marriage, after all she had done for him.

Jessica cried, "No, Dylan! I cannot take this divorce. That means you are already cheating on me out there with another woman! Come back here, Dylan, as you need to explain to me what happened to the Dylan that I met before and got married to? As you cannot divorce me now. No! After five years of our marriage. Never! I cannot accept this!"

"How can you just be returning home tonight, after spending two days outside of our matrimonial home, and you are telling me that I'm fat and ugly now, and not the kind of 'wife' that you want to come back home to meet again at home? No, Dylan! I cannot accept this divorce!" Jessica stood up from the living room couch and rushed back upstairs to the master's bedroom to meet her husband.

Chapter 2 Avoiding Jessica

Jessica rushed into the master's bedroom on the top floor, still holding the divorce papers in her hands. She saw Dylan stripping off his suit as he stood nàked in their bedroom, wanting to take his bath.

Jessica gulped hard as her blue eyes came into contact with her husband's hard body. He might look like he wasn't aging at all, but he had matured and was not the same man that she had initially married five years ago.

She remembered how her father had rejected Dylan. As her family had a personal hatred for poor people, she had to beg her family on his behalf and act mad with her own parents just so they could approve of Dylan and accept him as her husband.

Jessica had supported Dylan's business to grow, and now that he was made a billionaire, as they were blessed with two beautiful kids, Dylan was now speaking to her about divorce and beginning to have second thoughts about their five years of marriage.

Jessica knew that marriage wasn't a "do or die" affair. But she had tried to be the good wife that she could be to Dylan by waking up very early in the morning to prepare his breakfast herself, as well as their kids' breakfast. She had to prepare them very early in the morning to take them to school every day and then go back to their school after closing hours to bring them home.

Jessica knew that she had paused her own life to help Dylan build his life and their family by training their two kids at home and becoming a full-time housewife. Now, Dylan was telling her about a divorce and that their five years of marriage were over.

"Dylan," Jessica called to her husband to gain his attention, and he turned around to face her as he had taken off all his clothes.

"What is it? Have you signed the divorce papers now?" Dylan asked as he stared at Jessica's face coldly.

"No, Dylan. We cannot divorce. I cannot agree to divorce you, and you know that I love you very much," Jessica replied, wanting to believe that her husband had previously spoken to her about divorce out of his drunken state.

She walked up to her husband and tried to embrace him where he stood in the middle of their bedroom by attempting to touch his hard, bronze-chiseled chest, but Dylan quickly caught her hand away before she could feel his hardness.

Dylan shoved Jessica's hand down beside her and told her, "You have no right to my body anymore, Jessica! And the earlier you sign that divorce paper and leave, the better for you to return home to your father's house and find another man who will marry you."

"Dylan!" Jessica looked puzzled and heartbroken by her husband's statement as her blue eyes turned red and welled up with hot tears.

She questioned him, "So, you're cheating on me now, Dylan, that you can confidently tell me to leave and go back home to my parents' house and find another man who will marry me? Is that how much hatred you have for me now?"

Dylan ignored responding to his wife's questions, as he was náked and could feel her eyes all over his bare body and on his dîck too.

Dylan immediately walked away into the bathroom to bathe, while Jessica stood speechless in their bedroom, still holding the divorce papers in her hands.

Jessica missed her husband and really wanted him to make love to her, as she was hoping that when Dylan had returned home, he would apologize to her for where he had gone for the two days outside. But instead, he was speaking to her about a divorce and telling her that she had no access to his body anymore, thereby depriving her of her conjugal rights.

Jessica looked at the divorce papers in her hands again as their bedroom's white bulb was still on and the bedroom was painted white.

She walked up to their white bed's headboard and kept the divorce papers there safely on the headboard of their magnificent bed.

She stripped off her clothes and decided to join Dylan in bathing together, as she believed that Dylan was still joking and doing all that because of his alcohol intake.

Jessica stripped herself nàked and finally walked into the bathroom to join her husband in bathing and to torture him with the same level of torture that he had just given her.

She was a thick, fair-skinned woman with a pointed nose, blue sparkling eyes, and long golden hair on her head.

Jessica knew that she had a very nice, curvy shape even though she had birthed two beautiful children. She still looked cute and sexy-curvy, as a lot of mature men out there still wooed her and asked her out on dates, but she was a faithful woman and loved Dylan very much, so she couldn't cheat on him.

Jessica had never looked down on Dylan before, not even when he was poor and managing himself.

She loved Dylan very much, supported him, made love to him however he wanted it, as Dylan was a sex freak, and they were blessed with two beautiful children.

Jessica remembered that she had met Dylan at a fuel station where he worked as a fuel attendant, as he had actually sold fuel into her car on the first day they met. She quickly walked into the bathroom to join her husband in bathing before Dylan would finish his bath or step out of their bathroom.

Dylan was standing under the shower tap, as he didn't usually use the white bathtub for bathing, and he saw Jessica walk into the bathroom to join him. Her sèxy body made him hard immediately.

Dylan quickly looked away from Jessica, hastened with his bath, and switched on the shower faucet to rinse off his soapy body, even though he wasn't yet through with his bath.

Dylan rushed out of the bathroom, as he didn't want to spend any more minutes there with Jessica, knowing that he would end up fụcking her hard in the bathroom and wouldn't be able to resist her.

Jessica stood speechless in the bathroom and shook her head in sadness as she saw Dylan run out.

She murmured, "What's wrong with him? Why is he behaving like that?"

Jessica had actually seen how Dylan had rushed out of the bathroom, and she walked up to the white bathtub to have her bath there, as she mostly used the white bathtub instead.

She entered the bathtub and started scrubbing her body.

Dylan walked out to the master bedroom and knew that he wanted to divorce Jessica simply because his first love, Rosie Andrew, was back in the country.

Rosie had visited Dylan in his company and in his office, where she cried to him and told him, "Why, Dylan? Why didn't you wait for me to return home first before you went ahead and married another woman, after ten years of knowing me and proposing to marry me first?"

Dylan knew that he had first made a promise to Rosie in the past that he would marry her when he initially deflowered her, as he was the first man to deflower Rosie. But he wasn't the first man who had deflowered Jessica, though Jessica was still a kind-hearted woman to him and the most genuine lady he had ever met.

No matter what Dylan had done to make Jessica annoyed or to break up with him, Jessica never got angry, as she mostly overlooked everything.

Dylan had told Jessica before that she couldn't go to work anymore and ignore taking care of him and their two children at home, leaving all the work to their maid to cook his food and feed him. Did she also want the maid to warm his bed?

Jessica happily quit her job as a banker in a big bank where she previously worked and became a full-time housewife just to please him.

Jessica's car had also gotten faulty in the third year of their marriage, after Nina's birth, as the car couldn't work properly without a proper mechanical engineer to repair it. But Dylan refused to repair her car or replace it with a new one, even though he was a billionaire.

Dylan had instead bought a new car for himself to irritate Jessica and see if she would get annoyed and leave his house by divorcing him, but Jessica ignored him and had been managing her old car like that or using public transportation since he refused to buy a new one for her.

Jessica refused to leave his home, and she went to repair her car herself.

Dylan then reduced the amount of food money that he usually gave her weekly to take care of their home and their two kids, as he remembered that he had told Jessica, "You are too fat now, Jessica, and you should be eating only once a day so that you can reduce your weight. So, this money will be enough for you and our two kids; manage it. Don't you watch your weight at all, Jessica? Just two kids, and you're already looking like my mother's age-mate."

Jessica smiled at Dylan and replied, "But I'm still beautiful, Dylan, and you don't expect me to remain the same 22-year-old Jessica Albert that you met and married. I am 27 years old now, and it is expected for me to have changed, as change is always constant. Even you, my husband, have changed; you look more mature now and more handsome than when we initially got married. So, you are also changing too, my love."

Dylan frowned, as he knew that Jessica knew how to smile through every difficult situation with him. She never got annoyed with him, nagged at him, looked down on him, or compared him with other top-notch billionaires in their state. She mostly encouraged him to never give up in life, and he got frustrated about how to divorce the kind-hearted woman he had married as his wife.

Chapter 3 The dream

Jessica shook her head in the bathtub as she knew that Dylan usually made love to her before in the bathroom whenever they bathed together as a couple, and now he was avoiding her.

She resumed bathing in the white bathtub with her sponge, soap, and water. After she was through with her bath, she rinsed her body and finally walked out of the bathroom and into the bedroom to dress up.

Dylan had already worn his white night robe and sat on the bed to sleep, as he was feeling tipsy from the alcoholic drink that he had drunk at Rosie's home.

He saw Jessica step out of the bathroom while he immediately stared away from her and to the wall as he lay on the bed to sleep.

Dylan turned his back on Jessica and faced the wall, and she frowned at her husband's behavior and knew that he was truly avoiding her.

Jessica walked up to their wardrobe to take out a nightgown that she would wear. She tried hard not to cry, as she didn't want to divorce Dylan.

She knew that he had been behaving strangely lately, especially during the two days he was absent from home, and she wondered in her mind, "Who's the new woman in his life now?"

Jessica stood searching for a single nightgown that she would wear for hours. Even though she touched the white nightgown that she wanted to wear, she was supposed to take it out from the wardrobe and put it on.

She stood beside the wardrobe and got lost in her thoughts as hot tears freely streamed down her eyes.

Jessica finally snapped out of her trance, took out the white nightgown that she had been holding since to select, and put it on as she stared back at her sleeping husband on the bed.

Her eyes moved to stare at the divorce papers again that were on the headboard, and she shook her head in sadness before finally walking up to the bed to join her husband in sleeping.

Dylan was already fast asleep on the bed, but as Jessica climbed onto the bed, he felt her heavy weight press on the bed, and his eyes subtly opened a little as he stared at the pretty yellow woman's face that was on the bed with him.

Seeing that the pretty yellow woman was his wife, whom he was about to divorce, and she was sobbing too, Dylan sat up on the bed and sleepily asked her, "What's wrong, babe?"

Jessica snuffled and wanted to reply to her husband, but Dylan sleepily lay back on the bed again and fell asleep. The alcohol hadn't cleared from him yet, and he was already tired and exhausted, as he had spent half of the time since he had closed from his office work at 5 PM with Rosie in her room, and he needed to rest.

Dylan turned his back on Jessica again and adjusted his pillow properly underneath his head and rested his head on it.

He resumed sleeping while Jessica blinked her teardrops away as she sat on the bed, looking at her sleeping husband for a moment.

Not wanting to accept the fact that they were going to divorce the following day, Jessica thought to be the good wife that she was and wrapped her left arm around Dylan's waist. She moved closely to him on the bed as he had his back to her.

She cuddled up beside him closely, inhaling his manly scent as she hugged him to find warmth from him.

Jessica rested her head on Dylan's left arm to caress his face and jaw, but Dylan inhaled Jessica's sweet blossom scent, and his eyes subtly opened again. He immediately sprang up from the bed even in his drunken state and pushed her arm off from hugging him on the bed.

Dylan looked at Jessica angrily and asked her, "What's wrong with you, Jessica? Why don't you want me to sleep tonight?"

Dylan was seated on the bed with Jessica, and seeing that she didn't wear any bra underneath her big breasts and her white nightgown was almost transparent, revealing her boobs to his view.

Dylan stared away, and Jessica replied, "I want you, Dylan."

"But I don't want you anymore, Jessica. I want a divorce, and you should sign the divorce papers tomorrow and leave! I'm not joking about it," Dylan curtly said and immediately took his pillow away from the bed, as he drunkenly stepped down from the bed and put on his black slippers to leave their bedroom. He snatched his pillow away from Jessica's hands, as she tried to stop him from leaving their bedroom by holding onto his pillow.

Dylan immediately walked out of the room, leaving Jessica all alone in their master bedroom, and she cried out, "No, sweetheart! Wait! Where are you going?"

Jessica hurriedly stepped down from the bed and chased after Dylan as he exited their sitting room upstairs and went downstairs to the guest room to sleep.

"Dylan! Open this door!" Jessica stood in front of the guest room door and banged on it heavily for Dylan to unlock the door from within, as he had locked the door from the inside.

Dylan ignored Jessica's calls and went to the bed in the guest room to sleep, since Jessica wanted to seduce him in their bedroom.

"Dylan! Open this door now! It's me, your wife!" Jessica cried out as she stood in front of the guest room door and banged heavily on it.

She stared at the corridor clock and saw it was already after 12 AM.

Jessica shook her head and finally went back upstairs to their master bedroom to sleep alone, as she didn't want to wake their kids up from sleep. The master bedroom was the biggest room in the mansion, and she walked towards the king-sized bed that was covered in a white bedspread and climbed on it slowly to sleep.

She lay on the bed and tried to sleep.

It was Wednesday night, and Jessica knew that her two kids would be going to school the following Thursday morning, as they attended a day-to-day school. She knew that she had to sleep on time so she could wake up very early the following morning to prepare her two kids for school.

But sleep was very far from her eyes as she kept crying on the bed and thinking about the new woman that had come into her husband's life to destroy her marriage and break up her previous happy home.

Jessica continued to think about how she would lose weight and impress Dylan and be the slim woman that he wanted again.

She knew that she had tried losing weight before, but it wasn't easy for her as she loved eating a lot of food and sleeping too, as she was always at home and not going out to work anymore.

Jessica had spoken to her best friend named Esther Friday about her plans to lose more weight. Esther had advised her that the best way to lose weight was to hit the gym.

Yet, she had been exercising daily, but losing weight hadn't been easy for her.

Jessica snuffled on the bed again and fell asleep. She dreamt that a beautiful fair-skinned short woman walked into her home with a big black traveling box of clothes in her hand. This short woman wasn't Jessica in the dream, as she was taller. The short woman looked at Jessica irritably and ordered her to serve her meals.

Jessica saw herself serving this beautiful slim woman in her dream, as the woman sent her away from her husband's home, and she tried to plead with the woman, "Please, you cannot send me away from my husband's house. Leave Dylan alone, so that he can look at me; that's his wife."

But the short woman replied, "No. I have known Dylan for longer than you have, and your time here is up in his life, so go away."

Jessica saw Dylan throw her box of clothes outside of their matrimonial home, and he didn't even mind their kids' presence with them too. He told her, "Leave my house, Jessica! This marriage is over between us. Go away and get out of my life!"

"No, Dylan! Please... Don't send me away... I love you... Please, Dylan..."

Jessica continued struggling on the bed and in her sleep, as she was still lying on the luxurious white bed in the master bedroom and dreaming.

She continued pleading with Dylan in her dream, "Please, Dylan, don't send me away, please..."

Jessica watched as Dylan rushed to her in her dream to drag her away by her left wrist to throw her outside of their mansion. She cried out to him even more, "Please, Dylan! You cannot send me away, Dylan! Dylan! Dylan, please!"

"I'm here, Jessica! Wake up!" Dylan shook Jessica vigorously on the bed to wake her up. He sat down on the bed beside her and shook her again and again to wake her up from her nightmare.

As when he had woken up from sleep in the guest room that he slept in the previous night, he had a headache and remembered that he had returned home the previous night with the divorce papers that Rosie Andrew had given to him to give to Jessica at home, and he had asked Jessica to sign them too.
