After Breaking Up, I Married My Ex-Boyfriend's Uncle

Author: : SmallGreeanGrass
Genre: Romance
After being dumped by my boyfriend, I went to a bar to drown my sorrows and ended up having a one-night stand with his uncle by accident. "Uncle Dominic, that night was really just an accident." He wrapped his arm around my waist: "So you want to run away after sleeping with me?" Just like that, I married my ex-boyfriend's uncle and became his aunt.

Chapter 1 One-Night Stand

With a sharp slap, I fell to the ground. clutching my face, I looked up at Sebastian in disbelief. "You actually hit me!"

Elara leaned into Sebastian's embrace, looking at me provocatively.

Sebastian stared down at me, his face etched with disappointment. "Cassandra, I thought you were just stubborn and willful, but I didn't realize you were also a liar. If it weren't for Elara telling me she's the rightful heir to the Winters family, I would have continued to be deceived by you."

Could it be that he pursued me not for who I am, but for my supposed status as the Winters family heir? But I am indeed the rightful heir. Why does he now believe Elara is the Winters family's successor?

"I am the real heir..." I tried to assert my truth to Sebastian, but before I could finish, Elara interrupted.

She looked at me with feigned concern, saying, "Cassandra, I know how much you want to be the heir of the Winters family, but blood ties can't be altered. Delusional disorder is a condition that needs treatment."

Unable to contain my anger, I retorted, "You're the one with delusions, your whole family is delusional."

My words barely left my lips when Elara began to cry. "Cassandra, I understand you're jealous of my affluent background and Sebastian's love for me, but that doesn't give you the right to insult my family like this..."

Sebastian cast a tender glance at Elara before turning to me with a look of utter disgust. "Cassandra, I will never marry you. Get that idea out of your head." With that, he wrapped his arm around Elara's waist, intending to leave. "Let's go, Elara."

However, Elara had no intention of leaving immediately. "Sebastian, you go ahead. I'm worried Cassandra might do something drastic out of distress. I want to talk to her."

"Elara, you're just too kind. Some people simply aren't worth your compassion."

Elara whispered in my ear, "Cassandra, I advise you not to be ungrateful." Her hand caressed her stomach. "I'm carrying Sebastian's child. The future fiancée of the Blackwood family heir can only be me."

I almost laughed in disbelief. So, she had snatched Sebastian away, thinking he was the heir to the Blackwood fortune. Unfortunately for her, she didn't know that Sebastian's father was born out of wedlock. In the Blackwood family, a child born out of wedlock has no right to inheritance. The real power within the Blackwood family was now in the hands of his uncle, Dominic Blackwood.

The irony of their situation was almost amusing. Both Sebastian and Elara were together under the false belief that the other was an heir to a vast fortune, completely oblivious to the fact that they were deceiving each other.

Finding no satisfaction in her attempts to provoke me, Elara pinched herself hard, tears streaming down her face. "Cassandra, I was just trying to give you friendly advice. How could you say such things about me?"

Sebastian, who had been waiting nearby, immediately stepped forward upon seeing this. He swiftly picked Elara up in his arms. "I've told you before, some people are just not worth your kindness. What if the baby got hurt?"

At his words, Elara shuddered, her tears falling even faster. "I'm sorry..."

"It's not your fault for being kind," he said, looking at her tenderly. After giving her a peck on the lips, he turned to me with a look of disgust. "Cassandra, you malicious woman, I will never marry you in this lifetime!"

With those final words, he carried Elara away.

After they left, the tears I had been holding back finally broke free. I had truly loved Sebastian with all my heart over the years, only to end up with this bitter outcome.

Heartbroken, I went to a bar to drown my sorrows in alcohol. But through my blurred vision, I thought I saw Sebastian's face. "Sebastian, you jerk, playing with my feelings and then dumping me! Why did you do this to me! Why!" I exclaimed.

His lips moved, but with my ears ringing and the bar's noise overwhelming, I couldn't make out his words.

I leaned closer, pressing my ear to his mouth. "Speak up, I can't hear you."

He repeated himself, and this time I heard him clearly. He said he wasn't Sebastian.

"Liar, you're trying to deceive me again!" I grabbed his neck, bringing my face close to his, staring intently. "This face, I'd recognize it even if I drank ten more bottles."

As I gazed into his handsome features, a tumult of emotions overwhelmed me, and I impulsively pressed my lips fiercely against his. He paused in brief shock before wrapping his arms around my waist, responding passionately to my kiss.

We kept kissing passionately, all the way from the bar seats to the hotel bed.

In the haze of passion and intoxication, I couldn't help but murmur."Sebastian, you do love me after all."

Hearing my words, "Sebastian" suddenly stopped unbuttoning my clothes, seemingly irritated: "I've told you, I'm not Sebastian."

"Alright, if you say you are not, then you are not." I buried my face in his chest, cooing at him: "Sebastian is just a jerk, nowhere near as good as you."

It was then that he smiled, "Right, my name is Dominic, how could I be that jerk Sebastian."

Completely lost in my drunkenness, I forgot Dominic was Sebastian's uncle. I loudly proclaimed, "Dominic is the best, nothing like that jerk Sebastian."

Hearing my compliment, he was obviously pleased but pretended not to hear clearly, "What did you just say? Say it again."

I feigned anger: "You clearly heard it. I won't say it again."

He pinned me beneath him, seducing me with his charming voice: "Come on, say it again. I want to hear it."

His hot breath sprayed on my neck, making me itch. Unable to resist his coaxing, I finally gave in and repeated, "Dominic is the best!"

He kissed my lips in satisfaction and then said, "Sweetie, say it again."

"Dominic is the best!"

...

Throughout that night, Dominic had me repeat "Dominic is the best" over and over, until my voice grew hoarse.

Chapter 2 Money Back

The next morning, I woke up to find myself enveloped in Dominic's embrace. Startled, I hastily wriggled out of his hold, pulling the blanket tightly around myself. Just as I sighed with relief, preparing to slip out of bed unnoticed, I noticed Dominic looking at me with a smirk.

"Good morning, Uncle Dominic," I forced a smile, feeling extremely uneasy.

"Last night, you didn't call me 'uncle' like that. What's the matter? After one night, I've become your uncle?" he teased.

Suddenly, it hit me that I had repeated "Dominic is the best" countless times last night. I remembered the times when I had visited Sebastian's family with him while we were still together, addressing Dominic as "uncle." Now, it all felt unsettling, almost like a taboo.

Unable to find the words, I remained silent. Dominic tugged at the corner of the blanket, causing me to lose my balance and fall back onto his chest. I struggled to get up, but he wrapped his arms around my waist, preventing me from escaping. "Planning to run away after spending the night with me? How is your behavior any different from that jerk Sebastian?" he remarked, his tone laced with amusement.

"I..." I didn't know how to counter, so I asked, "What should I do then?"

"You should take responsibility for me," he lightly pecked my cheek, "Cassandra, be my girlfriend."

"Um, isn't this... a bit too fast?" Sebastian was my boyfriend just a few days ago, and now he's my nephew. It's a bit hard for me to accept.

Dominic looked slightly displeased. "Are you not interested in me? Do you think I'm not as good as Sebastian?"

"How could that be? How can that scum Sebastian even compare to you?" I quickly replied.

"Then be my girlfriend, or, would you rather marry me directly?"

I shook my head hastily. "I think being your girlfriend is fine."

Dominic finally smiled: "There's a family dinner at my house the day after tomorrow. Remember to come over, so I can introduce you to my family."

Just as I walked out of the hotel, I received a text message from Sebastian's mother, Margaret Blackwood. She informed me in a cold tone to meet her. I decided to go. After all, despite her tone making me uncomfortable, she was fairly nice to me during my relationship with Sebastian.

The meeting place was a high-end café. As I pushed the door and entered, I saw Margaret and Elara sitting by the window. Seeing me, Eleanor wore a look of disgust, while Elara was all provocation.

Before I could even greet them, Margaret got straight to the point: "Cassandra, I think you're aware that things between my son Sebastian and you are over. However, during your relationship, my son spent a considerable amount of money on you. I find this to be unfair, so I hope you can repay these sums." Saying this, she took out a detailed bill from her purse and pushed it towards me.

Before I could even speak, Elara cut in: "Oh my, that's 638.9 dollars. Cassandra might have to work a whole week to earn that much. Just look at her clothes, not a single branded piece, probably picked up from some street stall."

She covered her mouth, snickering with pride, and casually stroked the designer label on her clothing.

I hadn't paid much attention to her clothes before, but after a glance, I became puzzled. Not only was her dress identical to one in my wardrobe, but even the ink stain on the cuff was the same. Could there really be such a coincidence in the world?

Seeing that I couldn't take my eyes off Elara's dress, Margaret sneered, "Look at her, she probably hasn't seen clothes this expensive in her life. My son was too naive, to be deceived by such a woman, actually believing that a woman without a single designer label from head to toe could be the heir to the Winters family."

What does not having a single designer label matter? The clothes I wear are all handmade by the family tailor, naturally without any brand labels.

I just wanted to quickly go home and find the dress identical to the one Elara was wearing, not wanting to entangle myself further with them, so I directly pulled up the transaction records of the money I had transferred to Sebastian over the years, totaling 128,000 dollars.

"Should Sebastian then return this money to me?"

Sebastian often claimed to be short of money, and feeling pity for him being a bastard with low family status, I occasionally transferred thousands to him. To protect his pride, I never exposed the fact that he was a bastard, even though I had known it all along. I even often praised him for being independent and not relying on his family.

Margaret and Elara gasped at the sight of the amount.

Elara was the first to recover from the shock. She looked at me pityingly and said, "How could an ordinary job earn so much money in such a short time? Only by doing those kinds of things could one possibly do it. Cassandra, I didn't expect you to go to such lengths to deceive Sebastian."

Margaret also looked at me with disdain: "I thought you were just full of lies, but I didn't expect you to be so disgraceful! It's a good thing Sebastian broke up with you in time."

Unwilling to defend myself against their baseless imaginings, I tapped the table: "Let's not try to change the subject. The mother of Sebastian and Sebastian's girlfriend, who among you will repay Sebastian's debt to me?"

Margaret and Elara looked at each other.

"Can't be, right? One of you is the mother of the Blackwood family's heir, and the other claims to be the heir of the Winters family. Surely, you can't be unable to afford a mere 128,000 dollars?"

Margaret turned to Elara, her face troubled: "Elara, I don't handle financial matters at home, so I currently don't have access to that much money, maybe you could..."

Before she could finish, Elara screamed: "How could I possibly have that much money!"

Margaret looked at her suspiciously: "Elara, aren't you the heir to the Winters family? How could you not have 128,000 dollars?"

Realizing her slip-up, Elara quickly corrected herself: "That's not what I meant. I meant that I wouldn't carry that much cash on me; I usually use a credit card."

"Well, that makes it easy." I interjected, "Fortunately, there's a Porsche dealership nearby. You can go and buy me a Porsche worth around a hundred thousand dollars, and we'll consider the debt settled."

Margaret quickly urged Elara, "Hurry up and buy it for her, so she stops bothering Sebastian about this."

Elara was still hesitant: "But..."

Margaret became impatient: "You can't even part with a car, do you not want to marry Sebastian?" She then softened her tone, persuasively: "This amount of money shouldn't be much for you, but if you take the initiative to pay, Sebastian will remember your kindness, and he might marry you sooner."

I was speechless, she made it sound like marrying Sebastian was some kind of monumental favor.

But Elara visibly became tempted: "Really? He will marry me sooner?"

Margaret was obviously pleased with her reaction: "Of course, it's true. I will speak to Sebastian and arrange for your wedding to be held at the end of this month."

With Margaret's assurance, Elara finally gritted her teeth and took out her credit card.

In the end, Margaret settled her son's debt, Elara got the assurance of marrying Sebastian, and I received a brand-new Porsche. All three of us were happy.

Chapter 3 Male Model

Upon returning home, I immediately rummaged through my wardrobe for the light green dress identical to the one Elara was wearing, yet it seemed to have vanished into thin air. Most of the servants are not allowed in my room, but the maid Agnes is an exception, as she's responsible for cleaning my room. So, I called Agnes to ask, "Have you seen my light green dress, the one with ink stains that I haven't worn since?"

Agnes hastily shook her head, her eyes darting around: "Miss Winters, with so many clothes you have, how could I remember a specific one? Moreover, you wouldn't wear it again if its cuff is stained with ink, so why bother looking for it?"

Strange, I didn't mention the ink was on the cuff. She clearly remembers the dress, so why deny it?

Seeing my suspicious gaze, she visibly panicked, fumbling for her phone, and said, "Sorry, I have a call coming, I need to take this."

Her phone screen was off, obviously showing no incoming call. But I didn't call her out on it; instead, I let her leave, then quietly followed her.

To my surprise, Agnes really did make a phone call.

"I can't possibly come up with $128,000!"

On the other end of the phone, Elara's roaring voice came through: "Aren't you working as a maid in the Winters family? Stop selling their worthless stuff and sell something valuable instead. They're so rich they won't even notice it!"

Agnes's voice was almost pleading: "Elara, please stop spending like this. The dress I stole for you has already been discovered. If this continues, I might end up in jail."

"What? They found out you've been stealing? Were you fired?"

"No, they just noticed things were missing, they haven't suspected me."

The relief was evident on the other end of the phone: "Good they haven't suspected you. Hurry up and find more money. I'm pregnant with Sebastian's child, and once I successfully marry him, you'll be the lady of a wealthy household."

Agnes didn't speak again, but it was clear she had made her choice.

Unexpectedly, Elara turns out to be Agnes's daughter. No wonder she could convince Sebastian that she was the heir to the Winters family. Agnes must have shared a lot about the Winters family with her, allowing her to know everything about the family as if she were a member herself. Unfortunately, Agnes forgot to mention the most important fact-that I am the true heir of the Winters family.

Returning to my room, I immediately installed hidden surveillance cameras in every corner.

If Agnes decides to stop now, I can overlook her misdeeds out of consideration for the years she has served our family. However, if she refuses to change her ways, I won't hesitate to ensure she faces justice for her actions.

"Cassandra! Cassandra!" My younger brother Finn somehow made his way in front of me, and seeing my solemn expression, he asked, "Cassandra, why do you look like this? Don't tell me Sebastian dumped you?"

After saying that, he burst into laughter. Shocked, I asked, "How did you know he broke up with me?"

His laughter stopped abruptly, and this time he was the one shocked, "He really broke up with you? He actually dumped the heir of the Winters family!"

Feeling resigned, I explained, "Because there appeared a woman drenched in designer brands, more the part of the Winters family heir than I ever seemed, Sebastian came to believe I had always been deceiving him. Alas, it's my fault for never bringing him to our house during our two years of dating, which gave that woman her chance."

"That's because you knew our parents would never approve of you dating a bastard. But in a way, Sebastian did you a favor by allowing you to see the true colors of a scumbag in time."

"Sebastian is indeed a scumbag. That woman is already carrying his child, which means he must have cheated on me before we even broke up. Ugh, what a scumbag!"

"He probably wasn't sure who the real heir of the Winters family was, so he didn't want to let go of either," Finn said, putting an arm around my shoulder. "Come on, forget about Sebastian. To celebrate your return to singlehood, I'm taking you to a nightclub tonight, and I'll get you eight male models!"

"This... this might not be a good idea," I said, looking uneasy. "I'm actually not single right now, I've found someone else..."

"You seamlessly moved on!" Finn was shocked for only a second before he burst into smiles. "That's my sister for you, finding a new boyfriend right after breaking up."

I punched him playfully in annoyance, but he wasn't upset and continued, "Having a boyfriend and going to a nightclub to enjoy some male models doesn't conflict. Just don't let your new boyfriend know, right? Escaping from misery is always worth celebrating..."

Half-heartedly, I followed Finn to the nightclub. After a few drinks, my consciousness began to blur, and hugging Finn, I started to lament: "How did I end up being Dominic's girlfriend? If we actually get married, Sebastian will have to call me 'Aunt.' Do I even want to live like that..."

Finn shouted, "What? Your new boyfriend is Dominic? Why didn't you say so earlier!"

He immediately tried to leave, but I grabbed him, "You can't go, you haven't got me the eight male models yet."

"Alright, alright, I'll get them for you now, just let me make a phone call, okay?"

Only then did I let go of him, content. After downing a few more drinks, Finn came back, looking jittery, and said, "The male models will be here soon, can you go wait in the room for a bit?"

I rolled around on the bed out of sheer boredom for what felt like ages before finally, a man pushed the door open and entered. He was tall, with an unmistakably elegant posture that commanded attention. His hair was meticulously styled. Clad in a perfectly tailored suit that seemed to accentuate his broad shoulders and lean figure, he exuded an aura of sophistication and authority. The suit was a deep navy blue, which contrasted strikingly with his crisp white shirt and the subtle sheen of a silk tie.

Seeing only one person, I felt a bit dissatisfied: "Didn't Finn say he was getting me eight? How come only one showed up?"

He leaned in closer to me: "Isn't one enough?"

"Sebastian? No, Dominic?" I stared intently at his face, then suddenly burst into laughter: "Finn really knows me too well, finding a male model who fits my taste so perfectly. And this outfit, is it the allure of a suit?"

I grabbed his tie and pulled him closer to me. Caressing his face, I said dreamily, "Your face resembles my ex-boyfriend's so much, and it's exactly like my current boyfriend's."

He abruptly grabbed my hand: "If you have a boyfriend, why are you here in the nightclub ordering male models?"

"Ah, you wouldn't understand," I sighed and waved dismissively. "My boyfriend, he's... lacking in certain areas. That would have been fine, but to cover up for his inadequacies, he made me spend an entire night chanting 'Dominic is the best,' until my throat was hoarse..."

The man's expression darkened gradually: "It seems I was too gentle with you that night. Tonight, I'll show you what I'm truly capable of."
