Affair With The Engaged Boss

Chapter 1 first presentation

"Izzy."Aunty Abigail called barging on the door furiously.

Izzy yawned and scratch her head as she walk to the door opening her door.

The room is rough and old fashion, all of her her clothes was lying on the floor.

"Good morning aunty."Izzy greet as she as stand by the door looking all messed up.

"Did you forget that you are going to do the dishes before going to work."

Izzy widened her eyes in shock she has forgotten that she is starting work to day. She slam the door on Aunty Abigail face and rush into the washroom.

She took her bath and put on a red suit and high heels she wore her wrist watch before she rush out back without greeting aunty Abigail bye.

"You this useless child, who is going to do the dishes for you?"Aunty Abigail yelled behind her.

Before Izzy get to work it is already 7:30 and she have to resume by 7:00, she greet her colleagues before going to her boss office.

*Knocks*

"Come in ."Narris Evan said her boss.

"Good morning sir I am your new sec.."

" I know, why did you come late?"Narris said with looking up at her.

"Sir I forget that am starting work today."she said honestly.

Narris laughed coldly starring at her"they you should go back home since you did not want this job."

"Sir am sorry, I promise that it would not happen again"she said apologetic.

"I don't need your promises, now go and get me a coffee."

"Ok sir ."She rush out and hurry into the kitchen, while she was walking to the kitchen she notice her colleagues starring and whispering to each others eye which she did not know why.

She started making the coffee as one of her colleagues walks in.

"Don't mind them."The lady said as she pick a cup.

"Excuse me."Izzy looked confused.

"They might not be nice to you at the first time but trust me they are nice people, this also happened to me when I start work few months ago ".

"Oh I see."

"I am Riley by the way."She introduce herself.

"Am Izzy nice to meet you... And I have to go now ."she rushed out holding the coffee

She went back to her boss office and put the coffee on the table.

"Here you go sir."

Narris sip his coffee and pick a file and trow it in front of her "go through this file and finish the work."

"Ok sir."

"And also I hate red so I love if you stop wearing red suit."He said as he continues to work on his computer.

"Ok sir."She said and go back to her desk.

She starts to work on the file, her slender finger move though the computer as she type some things.

Just then a lady walk towards Narris office without asking for an appointment.

Izzy hurryly stand up "ma'am did you have an appointment with the boss."

The lady look at her as she rolled her eye"and who are you to ask me that? "

"I am Mr Narris secretary, and you are?"

The lady pushed her away and was making her way to the office that is when Izzy pushed her false fully and a hot slap landed on Izzy cheeks as she touch her.

Izzy hold her cheeks starring at her, she try to confess the lady again "ma'am you can't go in."

The lady pushed her away and as she was trying to stop the lady the door open and Izzy fall on the floor.

The lady walk passed her and went to Narris throwing herself on his arm as she kiss him .

Izzy just stand there not knowing what to do or say, did she offended the wrong person?will her boss fire her?all kinds of questions was running through her mind.

"Amy what are you doing here?"Asked Narris coldly as he slightly push her away from his hold.

"I come to pay my fiancee a visit what is wrong there."She purposely said it out loud so that Izzy will her and know where she stands.

"Izzy you can go."Narris said calmly and turn back to his work ignoring Amy.

When Izzy hear what Narris said she immediately rushed out thank God she thought that she is going to be fired on her first day. She go back to her desk and continue with her work.

Back in the room, Amy move to Narris desk sitting down on the desk"Narris you have to discipline you works. "

Narris look at her and said coldly"Amy you don't have to interfere with my office work."

"Why? anyways we are getting married in two months and I will have to monitor you well."She rob her hand on his chest.

Narris pushed her hand away"Amy what are you doing."

"Nothing I just want to spend some time with my fiancee, and by the way there is nothing wrong in doing that right. "She try to kiss him but Narris move away from her he pick up the phone and call Izzy.

"Izzy come and excort Amy out. "

In few minutes Izzy come in.

"Ma'am please."She said politely pointing at the door, after all they are a couple they might be having a disagreement now that does not mean they will not get together back.

Amy stare at Narris for a while waiting for his reply, when see that he his planning not to say anything she rolled her eyes and step on Izzy before matching out furiously.

Izzy hiss in pain trying not to be loud.

"Izzy."

"Sir ."Izzy replied as she walked to him thinking he is going to apologize.

"Are you through the file?"

"Yes sir."She replied feeling dis appointed.

"Ok you are presenting the proposal go through it and get the conference room ready."

Izzy widened her eye in shock she is going to present on her first day in work she is so overjoyed and promise in her heart to work more harder .

Izzy go back to her desk and was going through the file

"Congrats on the presentation."Riley said smiling.

"Thanks."

"Welcome to been bullied."

"What did you mean."

"This is the first time that Mr Narris is nice to his secretary, and because of that the workers are going to start hating on you."Riley explain and Izzy still look so confuse

Izzy walked to the conference room thinking about all what Riley told her earlier, she starts arranging the room for the meeting.

In the next two minutes the business partner have enter they are all sitted in their sit looking at the big screen.

Izzy tried to calm herself down as she walk to the front and turn on the screen which show somethings "I will like to introduce this new project to you....."

In two hours they are done with the meeting, suddenly Mr Edwards start to clap, he his in his thirties and still look young and handsome.

"Wow very Impressive, Mr Narris you have such a beautiful and intelligent secretary, I don't know if you mind me taking her on a date". he said flirtly.

Narris gaze at him "I do mind cause I need her to seclude my work for tomorrow."

"Ok then I will get to meet her some other time then."

"Thank you sir ." Izzy said as she notice that their talk is getting complicated.

"Wow and your voice so cool and calm."He hold up her hand and place a kiss on it.

"Thank you sir." She smiles.

"What your name beautiful." She asked looking at her with affection.

"Izzy ".

"Whoa, what a beautiful name for a beautiful woman... Well you can call me Eddy." he said still holding her hand .

Narris just stand at the side looking at how Edward flirt with his secretary, he hold his fist and called out to Izzy angryly.

"Izzy! can we leave now."

Izzy shake in fears as she look at her boss angry face.

Edward giggles "ok I will see you tomorrow then, since your boss is in such a hurry, we can talk better then ."

Izzy give him a polite smile and nodded as the reply before following Narris to his office.

Immediately they enter the office Narris hit his hand on the wall angryly that man always do this he always steal his lover away from him just like he did to his last secretary.

"Sir!" Izzy scream in fear and rush to him try to hold his hand.

Narris pushed her away "stay away from me."

"But sir your hand is bleeding."

"Can't you see he his flirting with you?" he asked starring deep into her eyes.

"I know ."

"Then why did you go along with him then."

"I just want us to do business with him." she replied back not know what is wrong with her.

"If you are going to have a relationship with him, you must quit your job." He said coldly. Pain was reflect in his eyes.

"Ok sir." She replied as she bow her head.

"Bring a dress when you are coming to work tomorrow, we are going to a party, and also don't wear red dress I have red." He commanded putting all his focus on him work.

"But sir I did not have any dress to wear to the party." She complain in low voice.

"You can leave ".

Izzy scratch her head as she drag her leg out, she went to her desk pack her stuffs.

"Good night." She said to her colleagues.

"Wait wait . ...... Miss Izzy we must organize a party for our newly join workers."Mrs Adam said as she winked to her colleagues.

"Yes that's right it is the costume." The other surport.

Izzy bite her lip not knowing how to reject the offer, she smile awkwardly "actually I have to get home early."

"No no you must not disagree this is a costume." Mrs Adam hurrily said.

"But my aunty........."

Riley cut her off"you should just agree Izzy."

"Ok ." She smile awkwardly in agreement.

Everyone of them pack their stuff and went to a bar.

"Wow I so much love this place so fancy, Mr Jerry your taste is unique." Mrs Adam give him a thumb up.

Mr Jerry smile "sure I like fancy things, and don't worry Izzy a friend of mine work here he will give you a discount."

Izzy stare at her in shock what do you mean I will pay for everything"

"Sure ."

Izzy look at the table and check her pause she is doom for sure, how will she pay oh gosh this is so embarrassing. She snap her head and burried it in her palm.

"Hey Izzy take."Riley take out money from her pause and put it in Izzy hand.

Izzy whispered "thank you."

Riley just smileb"it ok."

She paid for the drink and took a cab home.

"Aunty am home." She said as she took off her shoe.

"Thank God you are finally back are you planning to sleep at work." Aunty Abigail nag her.

"Am sorry aunty I will quickly go and make dinner." She took off her jacket and roll up her sleeve.

"Izzy! Izzy! Come and help me to pick a dress I am going to my friend birthday party." windy said and she drag her to her bedroom.

Izzy search through her wardrobe and pick an elegant dress "I think this will look beautiful on you".

"Really then I will try it on, I will wear one of your heels." She run to Izzy room and talk her heels.

Izzy chuckle this cousin of hers still ask like a child. She go back to the kitchen and start making dinner.

The bell ring and windy open the door .

"Izzy is delivery for you."

Izzy look confuse "I did not order for anything."

"The man said that it is from the company."

Izzy ear spark when she hear company, she run to the living room and take to package.

She look at the package and it turn out to be a dress and shoe with set of jewelries.

She widened her mouth open wow this is so beautiful was all that is running through her mind.

Windy and aunty Abigail also look shocked. "Izzy did your company give all this to you?"

"Izzy you most let me wear this to angel birthday party." windy said.

Izzy shook her head "no."

"Izzy why are you like this, you can't let let your sister wear it for just today."

"Aunty this is given to me by the company and I will return it after I wear it to the party" Izzy said not agreeing to her aunty word.

"Your company can't be that petty."Windy said.

Izzy look at both of them not knowing what to say she run to her room and look the door, windy and aunty Abigail knock on the door for a while before they leave.

Izzy look at the dress once again surely the dress is do beautiful.

The following Izzy wake up as early as possible she clean the house and get ready for work. She look as beautiful as always in her black mini skirt and shirt.

Izzy was the first person to get to work and she is so happy about that , at least she won't get scolded today, she open Narris office and rearrange it property before he come to work Izzy is already on her putting on a cute smile as she greet him.

"Good morning sir."

Narris nodded in approval and make his way to his office and to his surprise everything is all neat and arrange, he sit down on the chair and start to work.

"Sir." Izzy knock on the door as she called

"Come in."

Izzy enter his office "sir here is your schedule." She put a tablet down showing him his schedule.

"Ok am having lunch with Mr Edward." He look at her face to see her reaction.

"Sir, thank you for the dress I really love it."

"So it was delivered to you, ok ." He nods and continue to check his schedule.

Izzy went back to her desk before she went to the kitchen to get Narris coffee.

"Hi Mrs Adam." Izzy said but she just ignore her and continue with what she is doing.

"Miss Izzy here is the file please pass it to Mr Narris." Mr Jerry said dropping a file beside her.

Izzy was trying to be friendly with them but they are just giving her a cold shoulder" good morning Mr Jerry."

"Morning." He responded coldly and leave the kitchen.

Izzy bit her lip feeling down.

"Don't worry they will soon be nice to you when they see nothing is going on between you and Mr Narris." Riley console her.

Izzy nodded and carry the coffee to Narris office and also put the file down.

"Mr Jerry ask me to pass this file to you."

"Ok let's see,... You can sit down over there." He pointed at the sofa.

Izzy nods and sit down at the side.

Narris cross check the file "Izzy!!" He called angryly.

"Sir ".

"Are you sure it is Mr Jerry that give this file to you." He asked.

"Yes sir."

"Call him for me".

"Ok sir ."

She run out and call Mr Jerry.

"Sir." Mr Jerry said as he move closer to Narris.

"Are you the one that give this file to Izzy." He asked and Mr Jerry acted all inosent.

"No I did not." He denied acting as if she know nothing about it.

"What are you saying Mr Jerry you are the one that ask me to bring the file to Mr Narris." Izzy said in her own defense.

"So when did I ask you to give the file to Mr Narris I always submit my file by myself." He argued back.

Izzy did not know what to say now, she clearly remember Mr Jerry telling her to give the file to Narris.

"Ok Izzy don't you dare try this ever again ok." Narris scolded her.

Izzy bit on her lip and apologize to Mr Jerry "I am sorry Mr Jerry."

Izzy looked all confused now she vividly remember Mr Jerry giving the file to her and asking her to give it to Mr Narris, but what can she do she have no evidence.

Mr Jerry smile "it's ok but don't try this again ok."

"Ok ."

She leaves the Narris office with Mr Jerry.

She go back to her desk and snap her head "oh I am such a fool."

In the afternoon

"Sir Mr Edwards is already at the restaurant." She reported.

"Well let him wait for a while."

"Ok sir."

Thirty minutes passed before Narris come out of his office "ok let's go now."

"Ok sir." She stand up and followed him.

They get to restaurant and Mr Edwards was waiting there calmly.

"Oh finally Mr Narris is here, he made me wait for so long. " He fake a smile and look at Izzy that is standing next.

"Oh Izzy we meet again." He winked at her.

Izzy chuckle "yes Mr Edwards."

"No you should just call me Eddy since am calling you Izzy." He said as he pull a chair for her to sit down.

"Thank you Eddy."

"My pleasure."

Narris stand at the side and watch how Edward flirt with Izzy.

"Then let start eating." Narris said interrupting them.

"Oh Mr Narris, I don't notice you earlier."

"Neither did I." Narris take an order and i next minute the food is served, he pick up the spoon and knife and continue stuffing food in his mouth.

"How is the food I hope you are enjoying it Izzy ?" He made it clear that he is talking to Izzy.

"Nice ."

Narris clear his throat "Mr Edward, don't you learn table manners in elementary class ? "

"I guess I lost all of my manners when Izzy is here with me ." He makes sure to give him the perfect answers to his questions.

Narris drop the fork making it to make noise "this isn't fun let's go Izzy."

"Ok sir ." She pick her bag and wave at Edward before following after Narris.

"Izzy I remember that I clearly told you to stop been nice to Mr Edward."

"Sir, I can't just be rude to him when he is been nice to me." Izzy explain.

Narris touch his forehead "ok then stop replying to his every words."

"Alright sir." She responds obediently.

In the evening, Izzy get dress in the evening grow that was sent to her the dress hug her tiny waist properly, she applied some light makeup while checking the mirror and she observe that she look more beautiful that the Izzy from before who did not care about her look, she just started to take care of her skin more when she get a job, in the excitement she bought all kinds of skin products, she don't spend like that before when she work as a part_ timer but now that she find a good job she can spend as much as she want.

"Izzy are you ready." Narris asked as he adjust his tie not looking up, the moment he looked up his mouth dropped.
