Chapter 1 PROLOGUE

"Ocean and Human are both scary.

The deeper we go, the terrifying they are."

~2016 , 1 August~

Three men travelling with a hard frown marring their features. The blue sea lay in the front of them so blue like a sky. The more deeper they went- the pit of gut filled with dread. It was hard to not look at the see with fear shining in their eyes and heart pumping blood and drea. Because, it was not any normal sea but , "The Bermuda Triangle."

"Listening to the unending rumours about sea is really tiring. It doesn't even look that bad." When the leader of them, John uttered those words, David and Jeremy gave him stink eyes narrowing them on his words.

Deep down the trio feared the upcoming surprises of the sea.

The rumour of people gone missing whenever the step into the sea was now a snake named fear and it was coiling around their thumping hearts. The secrets of the sea were now filling them up with dread.

But, does anyone knows the real reason behind it.

Does anyone knows what's the secret behind it.

The answer is a simple 'No'.

No one knows the actual reason of disappearing of people.

The sudden of burst of thunder strike shook their hearts with fear. It was as if a loud, terrifying rumble trying to guide the sailors about the upcoming dangerous future.

But, the real reason behind the weather was something else. It was more of a blessing than a curse from the gracious God.

The fifth Ocean Queen was taking a birth in the sea.

Cordelia was going to give a birth to a queen. Fury, red hairs stick to her temples as she trembled with the shocking pain of giving birth. The maiden rushed here and there with smiles on their faces as they awaited the blessed future ahead of them.

Afterall, Aqua's and Cordelia's first daughter was going to born today.

Aqua was quiet among the diviners with him. Who sat quietly waiting for his command. He was happy how his first child but something shined in his ocean blue eyes. The warmth was there, so was the fear. Fear of losing his precious wife. Pacing back and forth he waited for the good news to rang in air.

"I think we should go back, we should come any other day." Fear dripped from Jeremy's voice as he slowly backed away from edge of the boat.

"If you want to go, then you can go I am not stopping you, you scaredy cat" David snickered, trying boast about his brave ness to stick with their plan, but the truth was that he too was terrified.

"I am not a scaredy-cat, you rat-faced chipmunk!. Jeremy was hot headed. Not being able to digest the insult, he began throwing colourful words at David. Both, fell into the chaos of bickering, yelling insults and swearing at each other; long forgotten the fear of thunderstorms.

"If you both are gonna fight now, then Iam going to push you in this sea than no one will stop you from your kiddy quarrelling. Rascals." John, angrily spat at them quietening their motions.

They went quiet for a while.

"I don't have any problem, but the weather is not good plus we have too old boat to use. This was your grandfather's boat. When we are living in 21 century what's the need of this boat?" David grumpily muttered under his breath trying pursue John to go back.

When no reply came he sat down on a drum.

Weather was too bad to suffer in that sea.

Under the sea, was going on the preparation for the Queen's birth.

Priests were busy predicting their Queen's future. Murmuring few sentences, and seeing the future inside the big ball of water.

"The new born lies in basket,

With an unknown fate,"

They began in chorus. Heavy hoods over their heads as they began to chant the murmurs.

"All prays for her life and future,

Oh! what a beautiful creature,

The thieves and beggars may arrive soon,

Protect her at all costs in the noon,

We shall pray for what behold in the fate,

So shall my God opens heaven's gate,

Daughter of a royalty,

Will kill the cruelty,

She will follow the sacred,

Cutting all the edges of hatred.

The new born lies in basket,

With an unknown fate,

With an unknown power in her soul,

She will protect the world sitting on her throne."

The heavy chants fell heavy on the sea. The blue sea darkened with the hues, and the waves thrashed against each other angrily.

Sharks and whales were surrounding the entrance of the triangle. Swimming in circular motion, rummaging through the waves.

It seems like the men didn't come with the preparation. As waves got higher and thrashed against the boat with great force, they yelled. Hungrily screaming for help, but the screams were swallowed down with the salty water of sea. Two of them was blown away with great impact.

Horror shined in John's eyes seeing the death swallow them mercilessly. It seems like God, Himself wanted him to see the power of nature.

And that happened.

Queen was born on the exact time of which was predicted by the priests.

Talking of priests. When they all saw the future of the Queen. They were struck with horror the dread. Fear gripped their hearts.

Two of them were fainted on the spot.

And the third preist was breathing in shock. Gulping heavy pants of breath as he tried to speak. Falling down on his knees, he attracted the attention of the Diviners and the King.

Rushing to the priest, Aqua held him in his arms.

The last words he spoke to the Kingston Aqua was,-

"She is coming back."

And the mouth was shut for the infinity.

Those were the last words he spoke. And he died.

A child's crying was echoing inthe ocean and the weather fiercely screamed about the announcement of the queen. Everyone was celebrating their Queen's birth who was named,-

"Kingston Aerwyna Cordelia"

She was kept on the heads on the Killer Whale and was raised to the head of the ocean. A ritual they did to show their happiness and gratitude to the God.

But, that happiness doesn't last long. When she was raised above. She was thrashed away in the waves.

The creature's small body was stumbled across John's hands. Lifting the creature in his arms, he thrashed and swam across the sea.

To save that precious little angel's life, he tried to fastened his movement but the water made his hands and legs heavy, slowing down his movements.

A small grin wavered upon his face and he hurriedly swam near the shore, but horror shined in his eyes as he sensed the hungry creatures of water chasing him. He was harshly pulled away from the small creature, his flailing arms went limp when those sharks ate him alive.

~~

Cordelia's world was shattered, she laid against the soft mattress waiting for Aqua's arrival.

When the thump of Aqua's footsteps echoed in the hall, she hurriedly sat up and the pain shot up in her body like she was electrocuted.

Eyes wide with horror and pain as she wobbled to Aqua. Her shivering fingers hold onto his bright, shining collar intricate with thin golden thread. The shine of the thread dulled as she clutched robes tightly in her fist. Eyes yelling questions.

A simple nod from Aqua destroyed Cordelia's world. The eyes which were just few seconds ago were yelling questions, now remain still with emptiness glaring at the world.

The soul crushing blood chilled scream echoed in the room, halls, palace. Walls cracked, the ground shook with the intensity of scream. It was not just a scream but a scream of chaos.

Even if Aqua wanted to, he couldn't calm down her. He could never calm Cordelia's rage for it stayed with her more than the calmness has ever stayed.

The whole palace shook as the scream grew louder. It only caused chaos. People running with fear as the destruction begin.

Chapter 2 1. STOLEN MAP

She ran with large steps covering the distance. Avoiding breathing with her mouth she exhaled heavily from her nose. Her tendrils flying with air and heart thumping loud as a drum.

"Just what did you thought before stealing that freaking map?" she cried cursing herself and drifting into the ends of an abandoned streets. Securing a piece of paper in her tee.

"She is here!" A loud yell echoed in the atmosphere making her take a sharp turn leading towards an dark ally.

Seeing a window open, she jumped inside in a messy bedroom. It wasn't exactly messy, rather it was like a disaster took place here; more like everything destroyed in anger.

Crumbled bed sheet lying on the floor with a broken vase like its meant to be. She sighed and disappears inside the room more. Before she can discover more, a large warm and rough hand covered her mouth and turned her around. Dark brown eyes piercing her soul. Darkness in the room made it hard for them to figure out their faces, they could only see each other's eyes clearly.

First time ever in her life she felt fear. And she didn't liked it a bit. She was not someone who can be controlled by anyone. And here she felt her body going weak infront of a human. Her shoulder tightened under the the anxiety coiling around her like a snake. Ready to hunt her down with its sharp fangs.

"Who are you?" Three words making her insides churn as she looked in his eyes making her feel something she never felt. The warm feeling buzzed inside her and mentally curse herself.

"Does that concern you, who am I?" Gulping down the lump of fear,s he questioned back challenging. She loves challenging, even when pushed in the pit of dread.

A small smirk formed on his face as he neared her. Alarms going loud in her head with so close proximity. She felt her body on fire.

"For the starters, this is my house and you sneaked in. Tell me what are you doing here, before I stab my lovely dagger in that curvy body of yours." he breathed on her face. It was warm and she could feel goosebumps rising on her arms. A sneaky shaky breath escaped through her moutye

She didn't let him show her fear which covered her heart like a second layer. Her muscles tensed under his heavy gazr Closing her eyes she opened them again and swiftly turned them around.

This time she was caging him. And for a moment it would be a lie if he wasn't surprised. Suppressing his amusement he glared at her realising she snatched the dagger in that little moment, surprising him again.

Poking the dagger lightly on his throat she whispered,-

"Suffer me for the littlest of the time and soon I will be gone like dust." Her breath fanning his face

His Adam's apple bobbed making her internally smirk. She enjoyed it.

She came back from her trance when she heard footstep fading away. Her hoody gown followed her as she started discovering the main door. Her steps ceased as she reached near a room, from a grip on her wrist.

Turning around she glared fiercely at him, her cold ocean blue eyes hard and cold. Sweat formed on his head and his grip loosened. Taking the advantage she ran from there clutching her tee and gown tightly in her fist.

"What was that?" He questions himself and settle down on the ground. Uncertainty shining in his.

"Who was she?" Questioning himself looking at the door from which she ran away, he gingerly gazed at the door.

Shaking his head, he quietly stood up and made his way to kitchen. His chest tightening at the scene happened earlier.

~~

Shoving the door open she closed it, making bang sound resonate. Her heart thumping aloud from all the run she did.

Her feet lead towards her study and she took out the blueprints. Looking at map rage boiled inside her making her crumple her own hoody gown.

She threw her hoody gown away and exhaled heavily. Rubbing her temples she side glanced at the papers infront of her eyes and yelled loudly,-

"I am so broke that I can't even afford a recording pen".

Throwing last glance at the papers she decided to brew some coffee for herself. Thinning her lips she padded softly but anger burned her fingertips.

"How can people be so mean? They are doing it so wrong. Like, really they are gonna build house in seas and oceans. What in good world is happening here? God!" Exclaiming tiredly she drank her coffee.

Snapping her fingers she took some papers and pen and started copying rough sketch of blueprints. Her eyeballs moving from one point to another. Tucking her small hairs behind her hair she exhaled heavily continuing her work.

Soon she finished her work and gave last touches. Folding it neatly she kept it under her mattress and fell into deep thoughts. Her loose tendrils messily sticking al over her face.

"How can they kill innocent creatures, just for their ownself. Truly, humans are the most selfish creatures and can cross any limits for their desires"

"But what about those innocent people?" She found herself in a puddle of questions, drowning herself in sea of conflict. Till now she don't know what to do she is just following what her heart is saying.

"I will live and decide my things on my own. My these words have destroyed half of my life." Sighing she plopped herself on the ground.

The moment the news channel flashed the news about building houses inside the ocean. She felt herself shaking in rage. And that time her heart told her to steal the blueprints. She did whatever her heart told her to.

"Now what? What am I gonna do with this blueprints" she asked herself and soon her eyes was meet with the burning fire outside of her house. A sly grin crossed over her face.

The owner of the house was burning leaves. She found it right opportunity to burn it. Taking some useless papers with her she marched towards the fire and dropped those papers and blueprints in the fire. Her eyes reflected the burning flames and she felt satisfied with what she did.

Chapter 3 2. DENZEL

Walking in the hallway with her hoody cap hiding her face and hiding her eyes behind large glasses she cursed the study table in which she stubbed her toe, which was now swollen.

In her miseries she accidentally stumbled on her feet and landed on to hard wall.

The growing whispers caught her attention and she felt something snaking around her waist.

'Wait, when does wall grew hands' Confusion laced on her face as she met her eyes with the familiar eyes.

'Son of a human!' Screaming in her mind she yanked herself back and barked on his face. Fury radiating wildly from her body.

"Watch where you going?"

Aerwyna's POV

"Woah! Easy there, you don't want to end up in hell. Now, do you?" His annoying voice made my stomach weak. Only if he was not the so-called super rich bad boy of the school, I would have punched him square in the face.

"Oh! We will see about that" he should know who is he talking to donkey face human.

"You are different" he stated. His piercing stare making my heart go ghoop-bhoop instead of bhoop-ghoop. My stomach dropped into my gut, maybe he realised who I am? Or maybe he is just playing around.

"Well absolutely, I can't happen to match your idiocy." controlling my feelings I replied with some sprinkles of sarcasm. His eyebrow raising high as if mocking me. Trust me to kill him, but I won't do that. Who wants blood on their hand?

"Watch your mouth shorty." how dare that donkey-faced-human say that to my face. His lips twitched as he leaned more near my face. If he comes more near I am gonna break down his nose.

"You-"

Before I can put him in his place that annoying dean of the college for the first time noticed a quarrelling and decided to interrupt. Where does his eyes go when those body builders decides to kill each other in the name of prank?

"You both, now quieten down your voices before I declare detention for both of you." I am sure he doesn't have brain in his mind but air.

"And you miss Kingston this is your 37th fight this month. I expect you in my office after your classes" he said and went away. Attention seeker.

"This is all because of you." Stabbing my finger in his chest, I turned my way to go away from him. Only if her didn't came in my way.

Only sleep can calm my mind for now. I don't care anymore about class. He destroyed my whole mood. Agh.

~~

She ran on the water like she knows every bit of it. The familiar smell covering her senses making her dive deep into the water. Moving her hands in the ocean with other creatures she felt at peace. She felt like she new this place. Deja vú.

A sudden movement of water broke her peace making her come up on the surface. Frown settled on the face as she saw human army attacking her region with big submarines, killing other creatures to build their homes there, in her region.

Chaos settled there, infront of her eyes making her shake in a panic. Looking behind her, she saw every creature asking for their right on their homeland. The blue flaming power covering body as the wave rose her higher infront of the people who started attacking the water. Looking at the blood mixed water she pointed at the land and lightning struck them following with the heavy sound of thunder.

She woke gasping for air. Her chest tightened at memories of her dream as she breathed heavily. She looked at her hands which shook in panic. Forming a fist she took a look around her. Yhe library strangely empty. No one was there.

But she can hear the yellings fading away. The commotion out there didn't let her settled for a while making her dashed out of the place.

Everyone was running out here and there. Looking at the huge crowd infront of her panic settled inside her heart and she stood there without moving. Unknowingly to her, her breathing stopped.

~

His heart thundered inside his rib as he ran along his friends. The more he was running towards the exit, the more her thoughts were covering his senses. 'What ifs' questions rose in his heart as he stopped for a while.

His friends also stopped noticing this. But he without telling anything ran away from there. His heart and mind both going at different directions and his feet running along his heart. He noticed everyone being panicked which made him panicked too.

Soon he released a sigh when he saw her frozen on her spots. He hurriedly ran towards her and held her palm in his large and warm ones.

A sudden feeling of warmth rushed inside her making her jerk her head to see him.

"There's no time for explanation. Just run!" He yelled because of the rush and took her with him.

Her legs followed him behind. And just when everything registered in her mind she took the lead and made him run with her towards the other end.

Astonishment settled in his heart as he looked at her running more faster than him.

"How?" He questioned with heavy breath.

"You tell me how? I was sleeping the whole tim.e" jerking her head back to give him a look, she yelled.

"I also don't know, alarm rang and everyone rushed to the exits." he informed huffing and matching with her speed. Bit finding it quiet difficult to do that. His bruised ego raging like a bull.

"Silly people. We are running, to where don't know, from what think, don't know. Agh." she yelled to him as they came to an end.

"Finally." both let out heavily breathing as they finally settled on the ground under the open sky.

"Mind telling me what's the rush about?" She asked breathing heavily keeping her head on his shoulder.

She cautiously rounded her gaze on him tilting her head. There was something off about him.

"I told you what I know." He uttered shoving her head away.

"Hi, I am Kingston Aerwyna Cordelia. I am introducing you to myself because you saved me, though I don't know from what but still." Large grin settled on her face as she introduced herself to him.

"Denzel Ansaldo Hudson" he spoke poking his left cheek. Long, dark, curly hair moved with the air. His lips twitching with a smile which sent her waves of high alert.

"I go with Aerwyna." she said again leaning on his shoulder, trying to read his aura.

"I never go with Hudson, call me by any name but not with Hudson." He said slowly opening up to her, but still shoved her away, pressing his lips hard.

"I doubt that I will even call you. Haha, bye." She awkwardly commented and padded away from him. The deep strange feeling settling in her stomach, churning.
