"Ahh,when will I be able to stop all this hard work".Brielle exclaimed with a dreamy expression lacing her face as she was far lost in her imagination.

Like every other girl of her age out there she wished to get married to someone she loved one day,have expensive clothes and people attending to her needs without having to tire out herself

"Who is here I need to order".

Brielle was woken from her thought by the voice of a customer.

"What would you like to order sir?"

she asked humbly.After getting the customers order she hurried into the kitchen to get what he had ordered while scolding herself for getting lost in her imaginations.

Having lost her parents to a car accident five years ago she was forced to drop out of school to fend for her younger brother and sister.so this became Brielle way of providing for them,she had three different part-time jobs were she works from morning till evening.The jobs are actually not easy but it was impossible for her to have a full time job as she was not able to graduate from college.

At 4:10pm Brielle got out of the restaurant were she works in the afternoon and walked tiredly toward the bar were she normally work in the evening.

Fortunno Lovers Bar is one of the most famous an expensive bar in the city,she was quiet lucky when she was able to get a job there and this is the best job among the three jobs she does as the pay here was higher than the rest.

She has to work at a coffee shop in the morning,a restaurant in the afternoon and a bar in the evening.she always wish to quiet at some point when she feel she could no longer handle the stress however she couldn't because her siblings still need to go to school and also their feeding.

Brian is the CEO of one the leading company in the city of Seoul.To the outside world he is a cold hearted and domineering CEO,however at home he is a very obedient grandson to his grandma.

He has been living with his grandma since he was eighteen, immediately he finished college he decided to leave his father and stepmom who were living in the state to stay with his grandma.

He took over her small business and through his hard work over the years the company has become one of the biggest company in the city having several branches everywhere.

After working tirelessly for the whole day He decided to visit his best friend Andrew at his bar.Due to his affluence and way of life he does not have a lot of friends so the bar is the only place he normally hangs out to unwind.

On this particular day, immediately He got into the bar he was drawn to one of the waiters who was working tirelessly and even looked pale.He couldn't pinpoint it but he felt drawn to her.

Brielle had been working since 7:00 without rest.Her shift here usually ends by nine so she was trying to push her weak self even though she was barely hanging on to a tiny bit of her consciousness.

She was on her way to serve a customer when she suddenly felt dizzy for a moment but unfortunately she couldn't hold herself steady as she stumbled and the drinks she was carrying poured on a customer.

She was stunned for few seconds before she was able to register what she has done.she immediately fell on her knees and started pleading with the customer whom she thought

"Be focused, can't you see the situation you are in,"she chided herself.

Brain who had been watching every one of the waiters movement noticed that she was acting a bit weird when she was coming towards his direction.

When he noticed he saw that she was about to trip and fall he thought of catching her likea prince charming saving the damsel in distress however before he could guess what happening he felt himself soaked all over.

When he felt the liquid dripping from his face and into his clothes he felt stumped as he fell heavily back onto the chair.

He wanted to scream and vent his anger however seeing the pale little face of the girl who was pleading with a hoarse voice,he felt he couldn't get angry at her.He was shocked when he realised his thoughts.

He was someone who was feared in the business world for the way he dealt with people who make a slight mistake and this had been his principle for as long as he could remember.His workers fear to lose their jobs and this has made them very diligent in doing their duties.

So when he couldn't bring himself to scold this girl who had showered him with drinks,he felt unbelievable at himself.Haven not able to scold as his normal way of dealing with stuffs like this he racked his brain to look for a possible way to handle the girl who is still kneeling and pleading.

After so much thought he suddenly came up with an idea.His grandma has been urging him for a very long time now to get married,however he is not interested in any woman as he felt women are so troublesome and demanding.He thinks he would not have time to handle any woman's tantrums because it would affect his time for work.

So he felt this would be a great opportunity to solve this problem but he discovered he does not know how to handle it right now.

Brielle has been kneeling and pleading for a while now however the person she was talking to was not responding.He is sitting there motionless and staring at her with a face as dark as coal.She didn't know what else to do.

In her desperation she started blurting out whatever came to her mind."I am so sorry sir, please don't make me lose my job.How much does the clothes cost I will surely compensate and pay you back sir just don't make me lose my job".

When she realized what she just said she fell quiet for some seconds before it dawned on her that she was penniless at the moment.she had not received her salary for the month and looking at the clothes the handsome dude is wearing it probably would cost a fortune.

Without her realising her face at that moment was filled with fear.

Brian seeing her expression at the mention of the money discovered this was a perfect opportunity to put his plans to action.

"Do you know how much my clothes cost?Do you think you will be able to pay for them?."he shouted a little bit too loud which got Brielle getting frightened.

When he realized that he was making her scared he thought of a possible way to salvage the situation but he discovered that he couldn't be too soft on her as that would make her not agree to his demands

"I will do anything you want sir please,I really need this job". Seeing that what he said about not being able to afford the money was true, Brielle thought of no other way that she could possibly compensate so she resigned to be at the stranger's mercy as long as she does not lose her job.

"Really,you would do whatever I ask you to do right".asked Brian immediately he heard what he has been anticipating for a while now.

"Yes sir,"Brielle replied without thinking.

"Alright, that's a deal and I hope you don't back out". Immediately he was through with this statement. Brain hurriedly dropped his business card and rushed out of the bar after dropping a command for her to call him.

When Brian got home he couldn't help but go through all the events that happened this evening in his mind.He wonders if what he did was right or if he was acting too rashly.

"Well if she calls me,then we will continue the deal but if not I will just forget about it all"that was Brian conclusion before going to bed.

Brielle was confused on what to do because after she thought about all that happened she discovered that she does not actually know the type of job she was going to do for the compensation.

She got home with a worried look on her face.she couldn't sleep all through the night and immediately the first ray of light came out. She decided to call the stranger and see what he would say after all, she was the one who said she would do anything.

She felt her heart beating so fast as if it would burst at any time while waiting for the call to connect.Immediately the call connected she heard a baritone voice which looked like the person on the other side was angry.

"Sorry for disturbing your sleep this early sir,I just want to know the kind of job I have to do for the compensation"she said hurriedly afraid he would get more angry if she waited another second.

"Marry me"!!!

After bathing and going to bed Brian could not get a single wink of sleep,he keeps on turning around in bed which got him really confused.

"What is so special about this girl that I can't stop thinking of her,

Ahh!!!,this is so frustrating".He complains to himself.

"Geez,I totally forgot to collect her information,what if she does not call me back.Fuck!"

At this realization he immediately called his friend Andrew however immediately the call connected he regretted it for some seconds because he was faced with a series of questions.

"Dude,what was that all about?and what the fuck,you just ran off without saying anything"Andrew fired at him as if he had been patiently waiting for his call.

"Chill,I didn't plan for any of that man,I just found a possible way of helping myself out,I had to grab the opportunity.And about running off without saying anything,am sorry.I guess I was just a bit nervous"He replied calmly however he alone knew the storm brewing up in him at the thought of him asking Andrew for the waiters information.because he was not used to stuffs like that.

"Shit!!I don't even know her name"he was lost in his own world for a seconds.

"A solution to your problem don't tell me it's what am thinking,are you going to marry that girl.Come on man you don't even know anything about her"he rambled on without knowing that the person he was talking to was not listening at all.

"Hey are you there"he asked after speaking for a while without a reply.

"Yeah, please I want you to send the information of the waiter.Brian replied to Andrew's long litany.

"Really man is that what you have to say after all I have been saying"? He questioned but all he got was the beeping sound of the phone indicating that the call had been disconnected.

He let out a sigh of frustration because he knew that there was nothing he could do to change his mind.He had no choice but to arrange all the information he had on Brielle and send them to him.

Immediately Brian saw the message he was tempted to call the waiter whom he discovered her name to be Brielle Santos.

"Your name is as beautiful as you"he thought aloud without realizing it.

Having not able to get any sleep he decided to take care of some office work but he could not concentrate and ended up searching information about the girl.

It was early the next day before he was able to sleep, however he had not slept when long when the sound of his phone ringing woke him up.

"Hello",he said angrily immediately the call was connected.Because he was still sleeping he didn't check the number and coupled with the fact that the number was not saved on his phone,he thought it was someone not really important.

Immediately he heard the voice of the person who had been tormenting him all night he became wide awake.

After listening to her talking without a pulse he blurted out what he had been had been on his mind all night without thinking.

"Marry Me"

"What do you mean marry you, Brielle screamed after hearing what the stranger had to say.Her sister woke up at the noise.

"Sorry, that's not what I mean say,I would do like to make a contract with you,let's meet up so I would discuss the details with you"Brian corrected himself after realizing what he had blurted out on a whim.

After conversing for a while they decided to meet that evening at the bar.

"Sist,who was that and what was that conversation about"? inquired Kate who had been woken by Brielle's scream as the both of them share the same room while Austin sleeps in the sitting room.

"It's a customer from the bar whom I poured drinks on yesterday,he wants me to pay for his clothes but you know I don't have any money on me now and besides I don't think I will be able to afford those clothes because that look very expensive". Brielle replied with a worried face.

Through out the day Brielle couldn't stop thinking about what the man said.How will she possibly sign a contract when she does not even have certificate and besides what could she possibly offer to him that requires them to sign a contract.

She was still busy at the bar when she saw the man walk into the bar and sit at the spot were he sat yesterday.

She felt nervous all if a sudden and couldn't continue with what she was doing because if was scared if making another mistake again.she told her colleagues and decided to talk to the man first.

"Good evening sir".she greeted with a voice a little bit above a whisper.

After the call this morning Brian couldn't go back to sleep so he got ready and went to work.

After attending to all his meetings and going through all the files on his table for that day he discovered that time was just a little bit after six,so he contemplated if he could go and meet the girl now because he has not stop thinking about her all day.

"Would I look desperate if I go there too early?"he thought.

"Ahh this is just too frustrating,what exactly is this feeling .Gosh my head is just messed up right now."

For someone who had always thought that women are burden,he felt really frustrated when all he could about all day is a women for crying out loud.

When he couldn't take it anymore he got into his car and drove to the bar.when he git there it was almost seven when Brielle starts work as he had discovered in the information Andrew sent him.He decided to stay in his car for a while.

After going through a series of rehearsal in the car he went into the bar.He decided to look intimidating so the girl would have no choice but to accept his proposal.

After settling down for not long he saw the girl coming to him.

"Brian,it is now or never .I can do this".he was still mustering up his courage when a heard a whisper from the girl who had come up to his table at some point.

"Yeah.Good evening.please have your sit "he replied in a business like manner.

"So,I want you to marry me but like I said earlier it will be a contract for two years and during this period you can do whatever you wish to do except for the fact that you will no longer be doing these part time jobs and you can date anyone else". Brian recited the script he had been memorizing in his head when he was in his car.

"Excuse me sir,plea.."

"My name is Brian,you can call me by my name"he interrupted her because he does not like the way he felt hearing her call him sir.

"Am sorry sir but I can't do that"replied Brielle because she felt she needed to to polite and even him saying that with a serious fave got her scared for a moment.

"Sorry sir,but is there no other way I can compensate you for the clothes apart from this.I really need my jobs.

"Brielle I know you need your job so you can also consider this as doing a job as well as paying me for my clothes you ruined as I would paying you". Brian tried to convince her.

Brielle was stunned for a moment when she heard him call her name because she could remember clearly that she had not told him her name but she didn't take it to heart as she believed he must have done a background check on her.

"We just met yesterday and we don't even know each other how could you possibly ask me to marry you?"Brielle asked with a look of disbelief.

"Like I said it is a contract and you only need to stay with me for this period and after that we can go our separate ways but if you don't agree you can decide to pay me". Brian said I a deep voice hoping to leave her with no choice because he knew her weakness was money.

"Is not that I don't want to marry you but how could you treat marriage as a contract"she reprimanded but after discovering that her tune was not nice she fell silent for a while.

"And besides you said I can't work at my part time what do you expect me to do during this period cause as I believe you must have found out I don't have a certificate"she added .

"Well... hmmm actually we can think about that later" he said after all he had not thought about it before all he knew was that he does not want her working at those tiring jobs.

After thinking for a while Brielle had no choice but to accept ,since she had no choice.

"Alright I accept,she said sealing her fate.

When Brielle got home she had no choice but to explain to her siblings what had happened and though they were against it there was nothing they could do about it.

Brielle had to pack her stuffs cause Brian promised to pick her up the next day.

The next day Brian took Brielle to the registry where they got their marriage certificate.

Throughout the whole process Brielle had been anxious and feeling doubtful about the marriage.

"Would I be able to endure two years with this man who looks very cold and commanding",this is the one of the many things that bother Brielle as she goes along with the marriage registration.

After getting their certificate Brain drove them to his villa where he lives alone and after showing Brielle her room he left for work.

Brielle had nothing to do in this big house and after going around she discovered that the house was empty apart from the gateman there was no other soul living in the house.

The kitchen is well arranged with utensils but they look so brand new as if they had never been used.Aldo there was nothing in the fridge.She didn't have time nor the appetite to eat breakfast as she was really nervous so she did not feel hungry.

Having nothing to do all day as she had called the places she worked at to tell them about her resignation as Brian had stated,she was left jobless and in an empty house.

She decided to go eat out and buy ingredients at the supermarket for dinner since she doesn't like spending money on eating out.

Brian has been feeling ecstatic ever since Brielle accepted to marry him,he knew that to him it was not just a contract because without anyone telling him he knew he likes Brielle.

He went very early to pick her up in order for them to go get the marriage certificate with the excuse that he had to go to work.

Actually he had been thinking about spending the day with her since it was their first day of marriage but he thought it would be inappropriate so immediately he dropped her at home he rushed off to work.

It was when he got to the office that he realised that there was nothing in the house for her to eat. He thought of calling to check on her but he decided against it.

He was still in dilemma when his assignment came to inform him of the meeting he was supposed to attend.

Immediately he went to work he forgot about it all until he was done and ready to go home.He thought he was going to go back home and take her out for dinner but he was surprised to find the usually dark house brightly lit and a sumptuous dinner waiting for him at home.

After coming back from the supermarket, Brielle changed into a more comfortable clothes of short and a lose top and went into the kitchen to prepare dinner before Brian would get back from work as she thought that was the least of what she should do since she has nothing else to do.she didn't know what he would like so she just settled with simple dishes.

She was still cooking when she got a call from her siblings who called to check up on her.Austine who was three years younger than her has just finished highschool and is preparing for college.

He is a very handsome guy and he had a lot of girls wanting to date him while he was in high school but he didn't have the time or luxury to do that because although Brielle forbade the both of them from working he still took up some work to support her without her knowing.

When Brielle found out that he had been working she was really furious because she felt she was unable to take care of them like she promised.

Kate was still in high school.After talking to them for a while she focused on preparing her meal after promising to visit them during the weekend.

She was bringing the food out to the dining when she heard the door open and she knew it would be Brian cause there's no one else in the house.

She thought he was early, because he looks like a very busy person and she felt he was gonna come back late.

"Welcome back,I prepared dinner. Would you like some".she asked

"Sure,I will wash up and be down in five minutes"he replied calmly with a surprised face while going up to take a shower.

After taking his shower he came down to see Brielle already waiting for him.when he caught sight of the food on the table he couldn't bring but salivate cause the food looks and smells nice.

"I didn't know what you like so I just prepared these simple meals. If you don't like it you can tell me and next time I will prepare what you want"she told him with a worried look fearing the fact that he might not like what she prepared.

"It's okay I can eat whatever you prepare"he replied while picking up his chopsticks to taste the food. He picked up the vegetable and tasted it.He couldn't help but savour the taste.

Brielle decided to have a conversation with him after the meal about what she would be doing during this period as she feels she can't just stay at home all day.

"Do you have anything in mind you would want to do or you would like to stay at home all day, anyone is fine with me as long as it is not those part time jobs"he said in a rather too authoritative voice.

"Huh.. well I have actually thought about it and I would like to take up fashion design but I have not decided yet".she said in a low voice.

"Alright"he replied shortly and left for his room.

"Is that it, couldn't he at least ask me why I want that,what a cold human being,gosh"
