Accidental Affair

Yasmin felt dizzy as she take another sip of her glass of wine not sure if she was getting drunk she took yet another sip and drop the glass on one of the passing trays she decided to go find her Boss and inform him about her wanting to leave the party early

Her eyes search for him and she couldn't see him anywhere in the large room or maybe her eyes are feeling a bit weak to see the hall clearly now still determine to find him

She sighted Talia from a distance and walk towards her she called to get her attention since she was busy talking to some other people in the party

"What's wrong Yasmin? You don't look good" she said observing her tired eyes

"I'm not sure but I feel so dizzy, where is Boss I can't find him"

"I think he went to have a talk with the Ambassador minutes ago, I will tell him you are leaving"

Talia offered with a smile and Yasmin nodded at her and mouthed a thank you, she turn to leave but her legs suddenly felt wobble and she almost lost her balance she quickly hold on to something for support while she battle her eyes from closing up

Talia quickly rush to her and held her she rested her whole body on hers for support

"I don't think you can leave here like this, how about you take a nap to wear off the dizziness"

Yasmin just slightly nodded her head feeling too dizzy to open her mouth it feel like her whole body was going through some pain.

Black empire just acquire a big success one that has never happen in the entire country and tonight's party was to celebrate and make merry as much as possible

Being the personal assistant to the most demanding and perfect CEO whose company is topping as the third in the whole of America is very tiring especially when you have to be almost as perfect as him in order to meet his standards and demand.

Black Kyler placed first in the most eligible man in the whole of united states every woman desire so much to have him, whether as a husband, boyfriend or even a one night stand

as far as they have a chance with him they are ready to sacrifice everything for him and this has earn him a lot of advantage since people render assistance even without asking for it.

Just as there are gains there are also disadvantage of being popular, a lot of times he gets troubled with different women who tried to have a go at him some even stalk him that he sometimes get caught in scandals

Until two years ago when he got married to Veronica Giuliana breaking a lot of ladies hearts especially those who have set their goals on getting him on their bed.

The unique thing about his wife is that she never drool over President Black like other ladies and even when she was approached by him she had shut him down and walk away, like every love story the handsome president finds her fascinating and interesting picking a liking unto her

After months of persuasion they finally get married surprising everyone who thought President Black is cold to woman based on how he has treated lot of them before then.

They became the couple of the year with many people rooting for their lovely union, Veronica is one of the elegant and beautiful lady known in the nation as a pure beauty and has a lot of men begging for her attention plus she's of affluent background which made the people conclude they are of perfect match.

Kyler Black unlike some other business men likes to party and tonight isn't an exception the music was playing a famous hip pop song while the people pick causal conversation among each other having a good time and drinking and eating as much as they want

Although it was a celebration party lot of business men and big companies are also present to acquire favor from the most successful man in the whole of the country and so the party gets a bit serious but luckily for Yasmin her Boss has release her this night and gave her permission to drink and enjoy the party and now it seems like she has overdone the whole enjoyment thing.

Ever since Yasmin started to work in Black empire she hardly have time to hang out or get this drunk she always have to be available for him in case he needs her and also be responsible as his assistance but not having to drink for a long time seems to have effect on me as she seems to be feeling horrible right now.

Talia handed Yasmin the key card to the room and she sluggishly made her way upstairs trying hard not to fall down on the way soon she got to the door and unlock the door without bothering to turn on the lights she went straight for the bed and drop on it, she was about to close her eyes when she heard the door unlock and someone step in

Yasmin couldn't see the person clearly because of the darkness overshadowing the room, her lips wanted to part up and ask who the fellow is but she found it too weak to move and she had to wait for whosoever it is to get to her

The approaching figure seems tall and was holding something in his hands Yasmin tried to stand up but her body was too tired to make a move she just lay with her heartbeat pondering at the thought of what the intruder might do to her

with few more steps the intruder got near the bed and sat down at the edge doing something Yasmin couldn't see she tried holding her breath but the unbearable pain she was feeling makes it more difficult for her to do so her eyes are starting to give in to the drowsiness and she could barely hold her consciousness now that her senses were all giving in and she know she could no longer stop it from taking over her

Giving the tall man over her one last look she let her eyes embrace the deep sleep she's been preventing but before she pass out she inhale the smell of his perfume a very familiar scent she will never forget not in this lifetime.

The bright morning light that shone inside the room made Yasmin open her eyes reluctantly she close them back almost immediately feeling too lazy to stand up she tried adjusting her body on the bed but then felt her bare skin touch something

'Bare skin?'

she flinched a bit and open her eyes she turn to see who was with her on the bed, his back was facing her so she had to go the other way to see who it is seeing the face of her companion she let out a scream a mistake she wish she has never made because the intruder opened his eyes the instant she scream and turn his face to her, it was no intruder but Kyler Black her Boss at work.

For a moment they both stare at each other confused, Yasmin had her hands covering her mouth in shock while Kyler just stare at the woman in front of him in perplexity he doesn't seems to get a grasp of the situation not until Yasmin remove the blanket covering her body and ran nakedly into the bathroom

"Yasmin?" he said in shock

pulling the blanket to check himself seeing that he was also naked he quickly put the blanket back over his body staring in space, he tried thinking about what the hell happened yesterday and how he got to the same room with her

it was obvious he spent the whole night with her and since he could feel it something sure happened between them something that should never have happened he heard his phone ring and look on the bed to find it not able to find it there he look down where the sound was coming from and saw his phone almost under the bed he pick it up and with a croaky voice he said a low hello to the caller

"President Black? Where were you since last night I've been trying to reach you since yesterday but you didn't pick my calls, are you okay?"

Kyler look at the screen to be sure who was speaking seeing the name on the screen he cut the call and check his call log to check his missed calls

Twenty three missed calls but nine of them were from her he let out a relieve breath he drop his phone and held his throbbing head

'what really happened yesterday night?" he wondered, he remember talking to the Ambassador and after he had few drinks and after that what happened? He tried thinking but his brains doesn't seems to remember it at all.

Yasmin pace around the bathroom not sure what to do she thought of how her Boss ended up sleeping in the same room with her and have something together at that she remember last night when she felt dizzy and took the room key from Talia to take a short nap

Then the figure she saw entering the room and then she black out, is that figure her boss? She wondered still walking around the bathroom with no idea what to do, what happened could be nothing else but a disaster for her of all people to spend the night with

the thought that he's still in the room and there's no way she would go out of the bathroom without seeing him made her feel unease she thought of what else to do but nothing seems to be the option than go back into the room since all her things are in there with him plus the door to exit is there.

She pick up a towel from the set packed and walk noiselessly to the bathroom door, she peep to see the room she look around but couldn't find him stupefied about the fact that he might have left her alone

Yasmin ran out of the bathroom into the room and met with his eyes immediately she came out fully into the room she instantly froze on the spot not sure what to do she look at him and saw he was already dressed up ready to leave he stare at her about to say something to her but at a second thought he pick up something from the drawer near the bed and walk out of the room leaving her in a daze.

The two glasses clink and Veronica smile at her victory she had just heard the news and receive the video from Conrad about their plan being a success

Yesterday was a day she's been looking forward to and if she had missed it then she won't be able to save herself from giving birth to Kyler's child.

The thought of that almost made her lose herself, giving birth to his child is the last thing she ever wanted in life although she has married him against her wish and desire but she can't endure having his blood grow inside of her and thanks to Conrad quick thinking they finally have a way to prevent her from getting pregnant.

Kyler Black is a perfect man and never make mistakes therefore there is vividly nothing or no way to get his dark secrets but then being his wife and the closest person to him, Kyler trusts her so much that he could lay his life in her hands and Veronica decided to put that trust to her advantage.

The love he had for her is so strong that if he did anything wrong to her, he will forever feel guilty and won't be able to come closer or touch her that's his policy.

Everything about his life have a rule or policy guiding him something Veronica also hates so much, but what will be perfect than to set him up with another woman and frame it as a cheat and at most the lady victim takes the blame of everything while she gets what she wanted.

The strong smell of Conrad's Tobacco almost choke her and she place her glass on the counter as she squeeze her face at the repugnance odor

"Can you stop smoking that? You know I hate the smell of it" she complained and gave him one of her displeasure look while waiting for him to comply with her request, seeing her upset look Conrad sigh in frustration and put off the smoke

"Shouldn't you be waiting for him? He should be back home anytime sooner" he asked taking her glass instead of his

"Kyler never gets angry with me neither will he fall out of my charm" she said with so much confidence and smile as he took a sip of her drink, watch for more minutes she planted a kiss on his lips and wanted to go further but he pull out

"What's wrong?" she whined not liking the fact that he stopped her half way

"Veronica, we have a company here" he informed and turn his gaze to the bar attendant who stood near the counter with glances at them

"So what? I really need to get down with you, right now" she protested and pull in again this time she didn't give him time to push her off but make him embrace her closer.

The mansion gate opened and Veronica drove in to the mansion as she drive to the large car park in the building she notice his black Lamborghini Veneno, it's the same car he took to the party yesterday which means he's already back in the house.

After parking her car properly she spray herself some cologne before exiting from the car, Kyler is sensitive and too much of it might arise suspicion so the lighter the better, she thought as she made her way inside the house straight to the private living room upstairs where she's sure he would be.

As she walk in a bunch of maids working greeted her but she ignore the whole of them and focus her mind on getting to him.

Since childhood she has always admire this kind of life where people admire and stare at you for being so beautiful and fortunate and being born into a wealthy family she has always lived a life like a princess when she decided to settle down she has chosen to marry Kyler out of all the suitors who were after her then

not because she love him but he was the best candidate among all but after living as his woman for many years she began to lose interest and her hatred for him grows day by day seeing that he's not ready to let her go

She wanted freedom and a new experience with another man and that other man is Conrad her husband illegimate and notorious brother.

Unlike Kyler who respect her body and go so easily on her by touching her gently and with care and love she prefers Conrad who rough-handled her, tearing off every part of her body with his lustful one and giving her roughly pleasured satisfied sex the same way she has always wanted to be treated in bed.

At first she thought Kyler was the best thing that has ever happened to her but after having an unforgettable night with Conrad on his twenty-third birthday she has lose her insanity and decided to be with him rather than her gentle husband, she knows her reason sounds too ridiculous but then she always get what she want, anytime.

"Madam is back"

Kyler who hasn't been in his right frame of mind since he left the hotel room opened his eyes to behold his wife, every time he sees her he's always overwhelm with love for his dear wife but seeing her at that moment a rush of guilt went through his body and the image of another woman in his bed wash over him, he turn his eyes away immediately not bearing to look at her.

"Hi Honey" she greeted and move closer for the usual peck but Kyler turn his face away and pull her a bit away from himself

"I'm tired, I need to go rest" he gave her an excuse which wasn't good enough to avoid a peck with her

"You know that has nothing to do giving me my usual dose" she said and lean in again but he pull away before she could have the chance

Veronica frown her face looking really upset even though she knew very well why he's shirking a kiss with her but the thought of torturing him more propane her to make more moves on him

"What's wrong sweetheart?" she called with bitterness in her voice as she sulk at his rejection

"Veronica, there is something I need to tell you" he said and took her to sit down, she followed obediently looking curiously at him

"Last night..." he begin and she look eagerly at him waiting for him to deliver the news himself then the last play she planned will happen

When he finish explaining yesterday's incident to her, Veronica eyes were filled with tears as she stood up away from him, she clench her teeth in fury as she receive the news of his last night affair.

Kyler stare at her watching her action and being cautious so she wouldn't harm herself, being who he is, it's hard to keep the incident hidden and live his whole life deceiving her but he hated to see her in so much agony as well, he love her so much that he can't bear to bring pain to her

"How could you Kyler?" she asked her body getting sweaty and her tears falling with so much difficult in her breathing

"I know how much hurt you are feeling right now and no matter what I say the feeling of betrayal will be hard to forget" he said standing up from his unease position

"Is that what you will say? Aren't supposed to be sober and apologize for hurting me and betraying the promises you made to me? You promised not to share a bed with another woman" she said in a yell

"My sorry won't change the fact that I did commit the crime of adultery" he said with a blunt face which Veronica couldn't help but gurgle angrily at lack of emotion

"Did he really feel guilty about this?"

"Or did she make a mistake at her choice of victim?" she wondered as she gape at the guiltless expression on his face.

"I need some time to settle my feelings for you Kyler, I'm sorry but I can't trust you again you broke my trust and hurt me so much" she cried in his arms and let him hug her in comfort as she continue in her pretentious agony.

The little holiday was over and work resume as normal with everyone getting busy, Yasmin resumed early to work than the rest in order to put few things to place.

President Black has always hated a tiny dirt or any trace of error in his space so she had to come in time with the cleaner to monitor their work and see if they had everything properly done, she also has to do a little clean which is why she always had to bring a pair of soft slippers every day to put on and put them off after cleaning to dress up neatly in her heels and not too much perfumed outfit

The first time she had start work with him and had put on too much deodorant to impress him, was the day she received a great humiliation as she was told to go wash them off her body.

Dropping the clean napkin on her desk after a thorough cleaning, the incident flash back into her memory once again and she felt her chest tightened in unknown excitement and fear

Should she assume that finally after eight years of one side crush, there is finally a positive response? But the look on his face when he saw her beside him doesn't look good at all, he seems mad and disappointed.

Eight years ago when Yasmin became an employee she had encounter President Black back then and he saved her from a gracious fall and helped her with her shoes, something she never expected since then she has develop a soft spot for him and has always stare and admire him from afar with hope of getting closer to him someday.

Luckily for her in her fourth year working in the company, one of the Bosses had made a terrible mistake with the presentation and she being a junior worker then had step in to help, then and there President Black saw her potential and promoted her to be his personal assistant, an opportunity she has always wished for.

At her first day she wore a new outfit and spray herself with perfume and put on a long heels

"You smell like dog pee"

He had commented in front of everyone presence in the room and Yasmin felt so humiliated in his presence

"you didn't come here to seduce me but to work hard for me so get rid of this smell this minute and make sure your shoes aren't so ugly next time, plus I hate the new smell coming from your outfit, change it" he ordered

Yasmin had wished at that moment to be carried away into the air or better still disappear into it. That very day she had change everything she put on apart from her inner wears.

The news went out to all like wildfire and she was taunt by it for many days that she so much regretted trying to seduce him although he turned out not to be as nice as she imagine but her love for him never died rather she determined to work so hard and impress him once again with her intelligence.

But life isn't what she had planned, it was harder pleasing him and working for him but she changed completely after months she felt it was a mission impossible seeing the narcissistic person he is.

But afterall all these years and even when he got married she never let go of her feelings for him rather she kept it to herself and continue to desire him secretively.

Work begin at the early hours and soon she put aside her worries and focus on work, when he came to work he kept a straight face at her as he always do and didn't say or hint her so she thought maybe he's going to pretend nothing happened between but she know for sure she can't just keep it to herself.

"Let go eat lunch" she announced to her standing from her desk, she only had tea in the morning out of anxiousness and feels so hungry now. Everyone stood up and pause their work to go out for lunch but then before they leave he came into the office and call their attention

"Miss. Owens?"

We all looked at Talia whose name is called and she raise her hand in recognition, we all waited for him to say whatever it is he called her for, some looked curious and some looked impatient and hungry but I looked at her in confusion

"Why is he calling for her and not me?" she wondered

"I want to see you in my office now" he said after casting his eyes at her carefully and exit the office, while Talia who seems nervous followed after him and the rest went out for lunch.

Yasmin's feels unsettled during lunch and quickly finish eating before the others

"I will go back first" she had said and left back to the office before others. She got to the office and sat down while she strain her eyes over to the president office to know if Talia is still in there or not

she look inquisitive towards the office again and decide to bring snacks and coffee to his office, in a hurry she get some snacks and made coffee with no sugar she place carefully on a small tray and proceed to his office.

Just before she got to the door it came open, saving her the trouble of knocking but then president Black came out of the office and Yasmin found herself smiling the moment she saw him, she quickly walk forward and stretch her hands forward a little

"I brought some coffee and snacks" she said with beams

Kyler waited for her to come in and keep a straight face, he looked like he was about to break a bad news to her, being a great businessman over the years he is never afraid to speak out his mind but looking at her smiling face, he felt a pang of guilt inside of him but that isn't enough to make him change his mind.

"Place it here" he told her and watch her do so with excitement, the more he sees her cheerful face, the more he finds his decision difficult to standby.

"Kyler Black never finds it hard to speak his mind" he console himself and gaze at her looking relaxed

After placing the tray down, Yasmin waited hoping he would say something to her, she really hope he doesn't want to pretend like nothing happened between them

"Don't you have something to say to me sir?" she asked after minutes of silent from him

Kyler glance at her and focus back to his computer, after he was done he look back at her again

"Go get your sack letter from Talia" he said and Yasmin excited face turned sour immediately, she doesn't seems to understand what he just said

"What? I don't...what?" she asked confused and worried

"I hate repeating myself Yasmin" he said irritably

"But what did I do to deserve being fired?" she wanted to know, she hasn't except him to fire her after sleeping with her, it was his mistake not hers

"It's my company not yours and I decided whatever I want, hand over your duties to Talia and leave immediately"

"I think I have the right to know why I I'm being fired" she said stubbornly feeling angry now at the whole thing, first he slept with her and now she's getting sacked unjustly

"What is my offense president Black?" she demanded to know

"Oh so you want to know, fine I'll tell you" he said and stood up from his seat approaching her

"But first should I pay you for the sex?" he asked stonily

Yasmin stare dumbstruck at him wondering where that just came from,

"Is he taking her for a slutty bitch who gets paid after sex?' she asked herself with a heavy heart

"I don't know what you were expecting but this is it and I'm sure you are not expecting some sort of apology from me"

"Wait, I still don't get why you should fire you, if you want to keep it secret I mean if you don't want the incident remembered it's cool but..."

She almost bite her tongues as she said those words, forget about it? She certainly can't and neither can she be cool at all

"whether you forget it or not it's your business but what I'm telling you is I'm in no way responsible for what happened, you climb into my bed remember?" he said and Yasmin felt his words stung her heart, she look at her with hurtful and miserable gaze and watch him stare back unmoved

"What was I expecting anyway?' she murmur to herself

"I heard that" he snapped

"Maybe they were meant for your ears to hear" she snap back at him not caring anymore, she's fired anyways

"Just get out and if you need compensation you can tell Talia the amount you want" he said dismissively

"You know I never thought Kyler Black is such a coward who backs off from responsibility"

"Watch your language Miss Cassidy" he fired angrily

Yasmin wipe off the drop of tears that fell on her left cheek and tilt her head confidently

"You should have at least done this the right way"

"What right way? Making you my mistress or divorcing my wife and getting married to you? Don't be silly young woman, you are lucky I'm not taking this up"

"You are making this sound like I'm villain who intended to ruin your home whereas I'm the victim"

"Victim?" he asked standing up "if you are the victim you wouldn't be on my bed way before I arrived there"

"That was..." she wanted to explain but she stop

it's over there is literally no point in trying to convince him or explain things to him, it's so obvious he has his thought settled on the fact that she intentionally get into his bed, that's it she can't take it any longer.

She burst off his office and march to hers to clear off her table, a final goodbye to Black empire and her long time crush, Kyler Crust Black.

She walk out of the building but just few steps away from it, she change her mind from a final goodbye to a see you soon.

"No matter how long, I will come back and definitely have a comeback on him and his company" she promised and walk away
