Chapter 1 ALPHA PSYCHO LOVE

ALPHA PSYCHO LOVE

Chapter One

With extreme coldness and chills dancing in the air, a young brunette kept tossing under her sheets lazily. Her act showed she was contemplating if she would remain in bed or get up to face the world.

Jane eventually gave in to the latter; she had no choice. One couldn't stay in bed forever, one didn't have the same endurance as a pillow.

Today was her birthday. The day Jane turns eighteen and yes it was supposed to be a grand day for her because it was a day meant for her to find her mate. And, at the same time, she was meant to have a party where she would go haywire with happiness to mark her day. Not every one of her kind made it past seventeen.

But there was a problem. Her parents weren't home at the moment to help her mark it.

The day before, both her parents had gone out for a business meeting. Something they didn't let her in on. She had pestered them but they kept on saying something relating to buying a new house and their need to prepare for the season. She wasn't fully convinced though. She had grumpily accepted her fate and remained in the dark where she had been placed.

The wolf pack lands were huge and they were subdivided into three which comprised Red Moon Crescent pack, The Wolverine Pack, and The Fire Dart Pack.

Jane hoped her parents made it in time for her eighteenth birthday. She suspected something had gone wrong.

That perception was churning at her stomach, her guts told her it wasn't anything pleasant.

Jane needed something better to do than to sulk, so she jumped out of bed with her phone, still wearing her flip-flops and checkered pajamas. Her pale skin complimented the milky shade of the nightwear.

Jane walked into the kitchen, she found some vegetables and other condiments littered carelessly on the kitchen counter.

Jane started sorting everything in their rightful containers while listening to music which helped her push her worrying thoughts.

Jane washed the peas and put them in the fridge. Letting out a tiring sigh she turned to the counter again and started planning what to cook for breakfast.

Jane grabbed a juice pack on the second drawer of the fridge and stuck a straw in it, sipping and calculating her next move while nodding to the music playing in her ear.

She finished the juice and threw the empty bag into the waste bin. After a massive battle in her head between rice pudding and blood stew and Macaroni, she settled for the former. She didn't like the stress that came with making blood stew. Snake mushrooms, garden shrimps, pollen from Merlin's green flower, flying ants, and bee dessert. Not a stress she wanted to take in finding.

After Jane was done, she went outside to wait for them. She hoped they would arrive today despite how unfriendly the weather turned out to be. It threatened to rain cats, dogs, and guinea pigs.

The weather cussed down about some minutes later. She couldn't wait out any longer and went in.

Her family had Sojourned into the Red Moon Crescent pack; they lived in the suburbs from the rest of the pack.

Jane was seventeen when they escaped, they left and sojourned into the Red moon Crescent pack for safety. The Red Moon pack was welcoming and took them in, even though most wolves had lost their families due to the First attack of the 'Punter' rogues.

As she sat down on the sofa in the sitting room, she heard a knock and she knew her parents were at the door.

Jane opened the door and ran to them, her mother beamed with a beautiful smile and stretched out an open arm.

"Happy Birthday to my first fruit." Her mother said with glee as she wrapped her around her arms affectionately with a big smile plastered on her face.

"My baby girl just turned another year old, you've grown too fast." Her father chuckled and gave a thumbs-up. They all smiled as one big family of three. (Chuckles)

Her mom pulled something out from black cloth and handed it to her. It was shaped like a metallic spatula, but it had strange writings on it. It glowed in her hands and she fell in love with the object instantly.

"This object was given to me by my late Mother, and I am giving it to you. It contains the vast power of magic. It is powerful and has been helpful to so many of our kind, generations in the past before you were even born. You have to take great care of it, and before practising any of the spells with it, keep your mind focused." She narrated cautiously.

Jane stared at the object in awe. She had memorised most of her mother's spells, and today with this object would be a blast.

She was so happy to be gifted such, so she placed it under her arm and thanked her mom with a light kiss on the cheek.

All of a sudden a shrill chant came up in the forest and their heads shot up at the impending pandemonium.

Her parent's faces were filled with fear, her mom was holding onto her father's arm as he comforted her. She was lost with the happenings and for a few minutes, she couldn't speak.

Jane saw Hundreds of angry wolves appearing from the Forest. Their scent polluted the air, and it was overwhelming.

Jane knew instantly who they were, as they wore their emblem proudly on their neck.

New darkness plagued the area, these were the Punter Rogues, who destroyed, stole children, killed men, and raped women. They found fulfilment from suffering.

Jane could overhear screams of other inhabitants from the Pack, the smell of smoke and fire filled the area, screams of women and children as they were brutally captured alive.

"Jane, you have to run! They are here to get you, and trust me they are not good people. I want you to run and never look back, no matter what happens you must get the hell out of here!" Her father ordered with ragged breath, she looked at him with teary eyes. She knew he wanted to protect her, but she couldn't run and abandon them to get killed.

She shook her head stubbornly like a toddler, disobeying his orders.

"Father, Mother, I can't abandon you to die here. I can fight, please let me. I will stay with my family and if death knocks I will gladly die with my family. Don't separate me please–"

Her father cut her off, "Jane Harrison Jude I swear to the Moon goddess, if you don't leave now I'll make you!" He used his Alpha tone with a loud growl. His eyes glowed dark letting her know his wolf was out. She stared at him wide-eyed as the bloodthirsty wolves started to get closer and closer.

"Please, Obey your father. Jane, leave now!" Her mother chipped in, she said in a commanding yet subtle tone. The tone of a mother.

Jane turned around and fled. Her breath hitched as she faced through the forest.

Her wolf instincts whined in her head, for her to go back and fight with her family but those commands were from her parents.

She looked back and saw the wolves attacking her family, hundreds coming at them at once. She let out tears and kept running away.

From a distance, she saw her father being hit brutally and her mother being cut by a sword, her heart constricted but there was nothing she could do. Their blood oozed on their swords and their painful cries filled the air.

CHAPTER TWO

She continued running with tears now streaming down her cheek profusely. Her heart was beating nonstop. Her wolf was pleading to take over as she ran for dear life.

She could still remember the painful look on her poor mother's face when she was cut, her father's head being smashed with a heavy wooden dumbbell.

She ran swiftly through the forest trees, her heightened senses could depict that a few rogues were almost catching up with her.

She zipped through the trees, making spells to help fasten her movement.

Her heavy breathing could be heard in the cool winter air.

She felt chills in her spine as she kept running. Their furious shrill paws could be heard as they touched them on the earth, their ragged heavy breathing rang through the forest air as well as they chased her.

She thought of a plan and stopped running as she watched slowly, she examined their movement and lifted her hands at them in a simple spell.

Jane mumbled some spells and they stopped moving, she hears their bones start to crack violently as she starts to force them to shift back. They were three in number, which was quite easy to defeat.

Her eyes began to glow red, her witch instincts coming out, and they were fully shifted back on the ground. Her hands were stiff, her veins almost popping out as she concentrated on disarming them. She heard their pained growl, as they sprawled on the floor.

"We must kill her! Do you think you can escape?" One of the punter rogues snarled with a loud voice.

Jane dropped her hands at her side and let them free, they assembled and ran in her direction trying to capture her.

Bad move, she gave them chances but they were stubborn to take the hint.

She grabbed their necks and slammed them hard on the ground. They let out a loud gasp as they tried to take in some hard air. She let out her vampire strength as she kicked them harder causing them to collide into the strong Oak trees.

"I gave you chances to run and save your heads, but it seems you were hell-bent on capturing me. I hate to do this but I have no option, I can't have anyone capturing me." She stated with authority as she picked one of them from the ground, he was still dizzy so he couldn't run away.

She broke his neck with her vampire strength and then swiftly broke the other ones, she let them fall to the ground as they bled profusely with their strangled necks.

She let out a heaved tired breath as her shoulders fell, and their littered bodies fell limp to the ground.

Jane was a tribrid that hated the sight of killing. She hated killing anyone but not when her life was threatened. Her parents were killed by the rogues, and she had to protect herself. The mere sight of their dead bodies almost got her puking on the vegetation but she couldn't waste time and let others who might be on their way here capture her.

Her power was drained and it felt worn out already. Her vampire( thirsty) craved for their blood that was dripping down their strangled necks but she quickly controlled the urge.

It has been three weeks since she let out her wolf, and it had been bugging her for a quick run.

She can easily hide her wolf scent when it is in her own body but when she shifts, it is harder to hide.

She hides her wolf to protect them, Jane's family has been on the run all their life, and getting caught is certainly not what she wants.

Her Vampire is one crazy bloodsucker and she is harder to hide, she's always out wanting fresh blood because most times her family (Father) gets limited on blood bags.

Her witch was nice and the only carefree one among the three, she only comes out with spells when Jane was in trouble and she can easily pass off as a normal human.

Her wolf was still nagging at her at the back of her head and she had to let her out.

She quickly gave in and shifted and let her wolf come forward and come out of the cage of flesh. She comes out happily and stretches, She rolls around a few times in the dirt and lets her huge pretty white fur get dirty.

"Let's run out of here before their pack members come looking for them and we get hunted down." She told her. She quickly stood up and started sniffing their way back.

Running in the woods when chased by the wolves, she lost track of her path, and with help of her wolf, they could make it out of the thick dark forest.

She turned and started running West, She zipped quickly through the trees. Jane enjoyed the agility her wolf possessed and the winder air that flowed through her soft fur.

She could sense everywhere turning pitch black, it was reaching evening soon, and the terrible fall of heavy snow seemed imminent.

Her wolf enjoyed every bit of release as she pranced happily, she wished her wolf could do that more often but sadly she can't.

Jane never pulled out her Vampire for extra speed, She liked having her power and her speed.

It's hard having a Vampire and a wolf, they were always fighting over dominance and favoritism.

She always had to make them feel equal, Jane uses their amount of power and strength equally.

No one else is stronger than the other. She trained with them equally. Her Witch powers on the other hand towered over them.

Jane's strength with her powers could be depicted as impeccable. She could be taken as a pure-blood witch. Her mom was a Grand witch and she trained her a lot before she was killed. Her dad helped her to control her crazy Vampire side and wolf.

She ran for a long time, too long that she was almost faint.

Her wolf suddenly came up to a large cave and she slowed down.

She shifted into her human form which left her bare, cold, and naked. She slowly walked into the cave, there was a dim light and a little fireplace.

The cave looked like it had seen visitors in the past, they were bones lying carelessly on the floor. She walked to the fireplace and felt the ashes warm.

Jane was sure the fireplace was used recently, She felt vulnerable. She couldn't let her guard down at this point.

It was pretty dark outside, She couldn't go anywhere else. Jane had no choice but to camp at the mysterious cave tonight.

Her leg hit a stone, as she winced and pouted like a little toddler who lost a toy.

Tears were already forming at her tear ducts, she didn't want to think about her family. She blinked and wiped out her tears, and forged ahead.

Life had dealt her a deadly blow, and she would avenge the gruesome murder of her beloved parents. But right now all she could do was to survive, out here in the cold from the harsh weather, and to save her young head from being beast food.

She limped with her bruised foot, as she looked for whatever she could find. A small sack came into view.

She was wondering what could be in there, her fingers slowly untied the rope used in holding the sack together.

What she saw amazes her, a neat piled-up sweater, pants, some roasted mutton. Her mouth watered as she relished on it, it was properly roasted and her brain flew out of the window.

She didn't give thought to who it might belong to, she would eat and stay alive. That was all that matters, she had suffered way too much for one day, her birthday even.

A thought came to her head, she had awesome magic she could create an illusion spell and hide the cave.

It was a very difficult spell that demanded her extreme focus and could take several hours to create.

After munching on the mutton greedily, she got up and her throat was thirsty for some water.

Luckily a little pond was at the other corner, it was quite cool and refreshing.

She gulped some water in her palms, her thirst was quenched as she sat down on the floor.

She poured some water over her face and wore a sweater and trousers.

She was thankful she had seen something to eat. There was some firewood and she could make some fire by casting simple fire spells. For the time being, she was safe. Sort of.

Chapter 3 ALPHA PSYCHO

ALPHA PSYCHO LOVE

CHAPTER THREE

It was early in the night, and she was feeling sleepy. The log of wood sizzled, as they sparkled in the dark cold Cave.

Jane felt like she was going to freeze to death but all thanks to the fire, she felt a bit warm. She couldn't demand the help of her wolf.

Her wolf was drained from the long run in the forest, Jane knew it was always ready to help. Werewolves were quick to recover.

Jane yawned for the umpteenth time, she slowly rubbed her eyes to wade off sleep but the battle could not be won.

She walked off from where she sat and assembled a little space with the sack. It was rough lying on the floor, compared to her fluffy and comfortable bed, but it was way better than walking aimlessly in the forest.

Her brunette hair fell over her face, she put it in place and her eyes caught her bracelet. It was given to her by her Mom(Susan), it was a birthday gift from her parents to her on her sixteenth birthday.

Her birthdays were specially celebrated. She had beautiful gifts, loving parents and all those made her feel euphoric.

She pulled the Gold bracelets off her loving wrist, it was a gift her Mom was gifted by her mother when she came of age. Her family, especially her mom, took passing down generational gifts seriously. It was fine by her though.

She smelt the beautiful bracelet, which brought back memories of her mom, making her feel nostalgic. It smelt like wild Oats, which was her favorite fragrance. Her scent lingered in the Cave, it was overwhelming.

Deep down her heart was shattered into tiny splinters, She had cried a lot, her face was a crying mess.

She heaved a sigh, folding herself into a ball as She laid sadly into the little confinement. It was crazy how a joyous day turned out to be the day she would dread for the rest of her life.

One final look at her beautiful bracelet she kissed it, another tear ran down her cheek as her eyes continued drowning with the full effect of sleep.

She finally succumbed to the full effect of her weak and tired body. She drifted into a long deep sleep.

***

Jane wandered into a path that looked like a cave. She could see Skulls, Swords, Arrows, Blood littered and it was pretty scary. It seemed like a place that had experienced a small-scale Camelot war with Hitler as a commander in the opposing army.

On the other side of the path, She beholds a magnificent Flowering Vegetation full of beautiful different flowers. She could see her favorite flower, the 'Bleeding heart'.

It stood proudly amid Orchid, lilies, Dahlia, Roses, Tulip, Cherry blossom, and a lot more which she couldn't even know the name of.

She left the other scary path and went over to the beautiful pasture. She closed her beautiful eyes and took a deep breath, the scent of the heavenly vegetation making her feel relaxed.

The flowers overwhelmed her senses, her mood was lifted and she didn't want to leave.

She began to love it here, her mood was still and calm. Nothing to worry about and not a thing to care about.

The birds flew happily in the air, chirping and making funny sounds. The flowers were blooming and her heart blossomed with joy. This all made her feel much relaxed and at peace.

Jane was with nature and it was all that mattered. Life's greatest gifts weren't the things money could buy after all. It was things we could feel in our heart, and how happy we truly were.

Love was in nature, the leaves rustling, the amazing scent from the flowers, the chirping of the birds, the atmosphere was a blessed one.

She was still basking in the euphoria of Mother nature when a loud shrill sound filled her eardrum.

The noise grew louder and louder until it became the only thing Jane could hear. Then, everything went blank and her head felt heavy.

She jumped off from where she laid and rubbed the remaining iota of sleep from her eyes. She knew who those noises belonged to, it must have been shocking when the rogues found out three of their members were strangled and killed like little chicks.

She wanted to run out of the Cave, fear was quickly seeping into her.

The thoughts of getting captured for the second time dreaded her like a scared chick who got separated from its mother.

Jane was still rooted to the spot she stood, Her heightened senses could smell their awful scent miles away.

She knew they were trying to trail her and capture her. Her body shook in trepidation, a lot of thoughts ran through her mind.

Jane had always been told of their evil atrocities, they scared her greatly but She never knew they were this despicable.

She had to create something dynamic, like complex magic to hide the cave. She hated to change her location.

She went straight into casting the spell. The only time she had to lose was no time.

After being sure the spell was successful (Thank the moon goddess), The rogues lost their scent. She knew because the air became free from their stench. She felt glad and put her head on her knees, She couldn't trust her safety in staying in this Cave. She knew the spell wouldn't last for long and the punters would not rest until she was found.

Unprotected, Unguarded, and Scared. She was trained for a while on how to use her powers. She never thought a day would come when she would fight to the teeth.

She sat down and clasped her hands tightly, her eyes glowed plain silver. She could feel it was almost dawn, this was a perfect time to create an illusion.

Her mind was free as she muttered incomprehensible spells, her mind taking in her environment. The cave was slowly moving away from where it was, she could feel everything in the cave transported to a different place.

Everything shook and things were getting uncontrollable. That was one thing with illusion Magic it could backfire or it could create depending on the illusionist.

Her hair twirled, as a heavy wind blew strongly around the cave. It was like a hurricane strong, wild and everything in the cave was flying all about.

She slumped to the floor and everywhere turned pitch black, her head felt foggy and her entire body felt transfixed.

Her silver eyes were slowly turning back to their original brown. Her eyes slowly flung open and she was speechless with the sight before her.

The illusion turned the Cave into a lovely abode. It looked like a real home, flowers on a table vase. She turned and noticed a sofa. It wasn't any real home, it was her home.

A nice couch, a well-built fireplace, black wooden wall clock amongst others.

She got up from where she lay, her hair was scattered as she got up and looked at the mirror on the side of the wall. She wanted to stay here for a long time, maybe until she could figure out what to do with herself. And, she wanted that homely feel around her again.

She walked around the house, touching the flower vases and reminiscing.

"Oh, Lord," She exclaimed with a palm over her mouth.

She saw her golden spatula shine brightly like a translucent light.

She walked around in amazement and at the same time with a heavy heart.

"No! I can't be alone." She cried as she kicked the air repeatedly and swung at the vase on the table.

The vase crashed with a loud thud as broken particles littered the area.

"I will make them pay Father. I'll make them pay because of my Mother, and for Beta." She swore bitterly, her hands formed a fist as she fell to the floor sobbing with a bow.

Memories flooded her heart, memories of her parents and all the good times they had as a family in their previous pack.

Memories of her father's beta who died trying to defend their pack from the first Punter attack.

Still sprawled on the sofa she had fallen back into, she sunk into the past.

ALPHA'S PSYCHO LOVE

(FLASHBACK)

Jane woke up at the early break of dawn and stood in front of her long-length mirror as she shot an awkward look at herself, wondering why she had to look so vague.

Turning away from the mirror she walked downstairs. She had already put her knapsack downstairs, ready to rub herself dirty in the woods.

She had about twenty minutes until the sunrise. She heads into the kitchen and grabs a piece of paper and a pen and begins writing.

"Mum, Dad... Beta, I'm heading out for a run, I'm sick of putting on some weight and everyone teasing me about how fat I'm turning out and how ugly I'm. I don't know how long I will be back, so don't worry about me. I will be back with much love xoxo."

Her brunette hair was messy and her teeth braces evident, she was in baggy clothes that hid her extra weight body perfectly.

She guessed she didn't have to be so nerdy. It wasn't her fault she looked like that... Well, it was a little bit. She loved eating junk and laying on the bed so technically... Yeah, you know.

Her parents were handsome and beautiful respectively so why did she have to look like this?

But being a tribrid and possibly a female Alpha someday, probably she would have looked better, weighed fit, and her five senses should have been so smart. If that didn't happen, it would be straight to the spell books.

But sadly she wasn't and all of the other young wolves bullied her because of that.

Jane had no friends and visited no one, parties weren't allowed and her upbringing was strict.

Her parents were barely at home and she was watched religiously by their numerous guards and servants. She was rare, so the world wasn't let in on her.

Her parents oversaw the pack, they traveled together and worked in the same office.

They were in love and that was what Jane admired and wanted, someone that she could build their empire together with and have lovely pups with.

She couldn't wait to find her mate, though her mother would occasionally tell her what it entails to find one's mate.

When she finally met her mate, he wouldn't care if she wore braces or shorts.

He wouldn't care if her appearance was just shabby and her clothes nerdy.

That no matter how her flaws were evident, he would help her crawl away from them and that he would cherish her for who she was.

That he would cater to her needs and love her just like her husband despite his flaws and dark aura loved her unconditionally.

Those sweet words got Jane's heart fluttering all day, she just couldn't wait for that wonderful day.

She let the note fall onto the table as she picked up her knapsack and held her snickers.

She ran into the woods and after a while she got behind a tree and pulled her clothes off, packing them into her Knapsack.

She had only water in a jar and one apple. She just started an eating plan to hopefully burn more calories and get fit.

After she was done, she shifted into her white wolf and bounded into the trees with her knapsack bag in her jaws.

After a long tiring run, she shifted back to her human form, wore her clothes, and put on her snickers.

She got back into the packhouse and everywhere was silent. She got into the kitchen and saw a pink postcard on the table.

It was written by none other than her busy bee mother.
