Introduction :

Kim Juli :

A single mother of two children. Working as a Software developer in 'Kim Corporation'.

Kim Seok-Jin :

Juli's husband and father of her children. He died when Juli was carrying the second baby on her womb. Still his death is a mystery as his body wasn't found.



Lisa :

First child of her parents. A meritorious student, also very beautiful, Loves her father more than anyone or anything.

Jungkook :

Second child of his parents. He doesn't know anything about his father, loves his mom and sister very much. Like his sister, He's a meritorious student, very artistic and good at singing and dancing.



Min Yoongi :

Lisa's boyfriend. An orphan child who never had a family. He treats Juli as his mom and Jungkook as his brother and he can do anything for them. He's an underground rapper, a pianist and a guitarist. Music is his passion. His stage name is 'Agust-d'.



Park Jimin :

Juli's assistant. A pure hearted soul who loves and cares equally for everyone. Animal lover too. And very shy. He loves dancing and he can dance anywhere but the music must be according to his taste.



Kim Taehyung :

Jungkook's possessive and protective best friend. A playboy who doesn't even hesitate to flirt with Juli in front of Jungkook. He's also an animal lover.



Kim Namjoon :

Juli's boss.

Owner of 'Kim Corporation' . A perfectionist and A very confident person, who takes risks on things knowing that he'll succeed no matter how hard it is. To him; Nothing is impossible.



Jung Hoseok :

Just an acquaintance with Juli.

(Alarm Ringing)

Beep...beep......beep...beep....beep...

Inside the blanket, a large lump moved a bit. Then whispered in an annoying voice,

-Uh.... Ju...just t...turn it off...

Suddenly someone turned off the alarm. It was Juli.

It's 6 O'clock in the morning. The room is dark now due to heavy curtains blocking sunrays and light to get through into the room. A small room, but pretty well decorated. Ice purple colored wall, with beautiful wall paintings of Frozen's castle, and snowflakes. Juli feels proud to see the wall whenever she enters the room as it was none other than her daughter who painted all this on the wall. And heavy curtains are violet in color. There's a bed where Lisa is sleeping and opposite to that, there's a study table, but the table was a bit messy. And beside the study table, there is a large bookshelf where many books are stored, and most of them are novels. There are some small vases of leafy plants in the room too. If anyone enters the room, they will definitely say, 'Wow, it's beautiful!!'

Juli walked towards the window without making any sound. She pulled the curtains aside and opened the windows. Now, the room looks more refreshing. She turned around to see the table again. At first, when she saw the table, she was a bit shocked as her daughter is so much fond of cleanliness and she hates anything to be messed up, specially in her room. Her room needs to be cleaned up all the time. If not, then, she becomes so mad that it's hard for anyone to make her smile at that time. But she realized that her daughter was studying all night long for her upcoming exams. And then she was feeling so tired that she didn't even have the energy to fix the table back then.

Juli sighed. She walked towards the table to fix it. Her daughter, Lisa is a student of 11th grade, very meritorious, also very beautiful and she hates anything to be messed up. But it seemed she was so tired last night. She smiled and whispered while fixing the table,

-It's okay, sweetie, I'll fix it for you.

After fixing the table, she walked towards the bed. She looked at the large lump inside the blanket and sat down beside it. A soft smile formed on her face. She put her hand on it and start to shake it very gently.

-Wake up, sweetie. It's 6:10 now.

Then shook it again.

-Come on, wake up now.

-Just go away and let me sleep.

She whispered from inside the blanket.

-Don't say like that. Come on, sweetie, wake up.

-I said, 'Let me sleep'

This time, Lisa said annoyingly.

-You'll be late, sweetie.

-Stop it. I said, "Get out now"

Lisa screamed making her mom flinch. Then she got up from the bed. Juli was so shocked to see her daughter's sudden action. She grabbed her mom's hand and dragged her out of the room. And then, she slammed the door on her face.

Juli was so shocked that she couldn't even process what just happened right now. It was like this quick that at first, she couldn't understand the fact that her daughter just kicked her out of her room. She placed her hand on the door.

-But dear, You'll be late.

But no response came from the other side of the door. It seemed her daughter doesn't want to respond. Her eyes were filling up with tears. But she controlled it somehow. After trying very hard to control her emotions, she turned around to enter another room.

There are two small rooms, one is opposite the other. She stood in front of the door of the other room. Her eyes were getting teary again. So, she took a deep breath and tried to bring a smile on her face. And when she successfully made herself look like she was fine, she opened the door. This room is smaller than the previous one and very interesting. The walls are green in colour and there are paintings of trees and birds on the wall. She entered into the room and found her son sitting on a chair and sleeping putting his head on the study table. She smiled and walked towards the table without making any sound. Then, she put a hand over his head full of dark brown hair and said warmly,

-Wake up, bunny. Or you'll be late for school.

Jungkook moved a bit then put his head off from the table and stared at his mom.

-Good morning, mom.

Saying that, he hugged his mom.

-Morning.

-By the way, why are you holding back your tears?

He asked his mom, pulling himself away from the embrace.

-What happened, mom?

Juli knew it. No matter how hard she tries, she can never be successful in making her son fool by doing whatsoever to hide her emotions. Her eyes were getting teary again. She tried to hide it by looking at something else but him.

-I knew it.

-What?!

She asked confusingly, pretending nothing happened.

-Something happened. She did something again, right?

Jungkook was staring at his mom, squinting his eyes.

-No baby. Nothing like that. It's just... I was having a very bad headache.

-Sure?

-Absolutely.

- Ok, smile for me now. I want to see you smiling.

Juli smiled and this time, it was a genuine one. She can never be sad while Jungkook is with her.

-Ok, now freshen up, you little bunny. Then you needa take breakfast and go to school. Today is a big day for you. Your final exam results will be published today. Now get ready, my dear bunny.

-Yeah... I'm sure I'm gonna be the top scorer.

-That's like my bunny.

Saying that she pulled him into a warm hug. But then, from the other room, Lisa exclaimed in anger which made her flinch again for the second time today.

-Mom, come quickly!!!

Juli rushed towards the room only to see Lisa's hair was all messed up, wearing her school uniform and looking like she was looking for something. But why is she screaming like that?

-What happened, sweetie?

-How dare you to touch my things? Where did you hide my notebook?? Tell me quickly.

-I didn't hide it.

-Oh... please stop your drama and tell me where is it??!

-Okay, let me help you.

-No, don't you even dare to do that again. Just get out of my room.

-But let me help you.

- No. Get out.

Juli was still trying her best to help her but she didn't give her mother a chance.

She grabbed her mother's hand and dragged her out of the room forcefully.

-Get out and don't show me your face again.

And then she slammed the door.

Juli's eyes were filling up with tears. She was trying her best to stop it from coming. What did she do that was wrong?! Why does her daughter treat her like that?? She was just trying to help her daughter. She was biting her lower lip to prevent tears from coming. But failed.

A tear slipped from her eye and rolled down her cheek. She put her hand over her mouth so that no one could hear her sobbing. She was trembling in a fear mixed with emotions and tears were rolling down her cheeks continuously. She slowly sat down in front of the door and started to cry louder this time covering her mouth with her hands so that Lisa and Jungkook couldn't hear her. Because Lisa wouldn't like the fact at all, she would think all of it was her mom's drama and would get mad and Juli didn't want to make her daughter mad again.

She was crying so bad that even when she heard someone coming towards her she didn't look back at him. She heard sound of footsteps coming towards her very carefully as if that didn't want to scare her or anything like that. She was sobbing. Sound of footsteps came towards her and stopped just in front of her. It remained in that position for a few moments. She knew who it was. So, she didn't bother to look at him. And Then all of a sudden, the owner of the footsteps pulled her into his embrace which made her even more emotional. She continued to cry in his embrace. Jungkook sighed and then said,

-Don't cry, Mom, please...

*After An Hour*

Juli was sitting on the window seat, writing on her diary and having a cup of coffee.

Now that her children are out of home, first, she did all the household chores. After that, she thought of relieving her pains and emotions by writing on her diary. It's like a habit. She writes all the good and bad memories in her diary.

And now, she's writing about the incident that just happened today. While writing about it, she became even more emotional. Her eyes got teary. So, she stopped writing and looked outside the window. There are large trees and one of the trees is very near to the window of her bedroom. While she was looking through the window, her eyes caught sight of two birds in that tree. The two birds were making a nest, no wonder to lay eggs and bring up their chicks. They were so busy with what they were doing.

She was staring at them without even blinking. Seeing those two birds, she remembered of her own family life too.

Juli sighed. She was thinking in her mind, how her whole life changed after that night, that 'Dark Night'.

Juli was very talented and a meritorious student just like her children. At the age of 16, she met a boy named Kim Seok-Jin, whom she thought the love of her life. And before she could complete her graduation , she married that boy by going against her family. They kicked her out of their home. Juli and Jin, both moved to a different city and there they started living in a small apartment. Juli continued rest of her study there. And after a year, she gave birth to a baby girl, Lisa. Everything was going on very smoothly. They were happy too. But one day, Jin left the home after having a serious quarrel with Juli, when Lisa was just seven and Juli was carrying another baby, Jungkook on her womb. She was shocked seeing her husband's action. He never did anything like that before. She was so worried for him as even after the whole night, he didn't return. She even filed a report to the police. But police couldn't find him either. And after a few days, they found the car Jin left with that night and that car was found near the river bank. So, they thought that he might have jumped into that river and so they considered him to be dead. Juli's heart broke into pieces. She was happy with her husband , everything was perfect, then why did all of those happen?

Lisa loves her dad more than anyone and she thinks that if her mom had not fight with her dad back then, her dad would have been alive. She still blames her mom for whatever happened. That's why she's being too rude with her mom. And Jungkook , he doesn't have any idea why his sister treats their mom like that and Lisa doesn't want her brother to know all these either because she thinks if he gets to know all these, then he's gonna hate their mom too.

-Only if I had not fight with you back then...

Saying that she opened her diary revealing a photograph of her husband. It was taken on a Christmas eve. It was a photograph of him Sitting on the floor beside a decorated Christmas tree and looking at the camera, smiling just like her daughter, Lisa.

Yep... Lisa looks exactly like her dad, even she got her dad's smile too. Jungkook and Jin don't have similarities, Jungkook is more of a cute bunny. Especially, for his cute smile. Juli smiled softly. She was staring at the photograph of Jin.

... A very handsome guy with flawless skin, dark black hair and black eyes, red lips. She used to tease him by calling him 'Worldwide Handsome'. And really, he was handsome.

She was staring at the photograph of him. Her vision got blurry. She sighed and said,

-None of this would have happened.

She sighed closing her eyes. Tears roll down her cheeks continuously. Then, she opened her eyes and looked at the photograph again.

-I don't think I deserve forgiveness, honey.

Saying that she cried silently for a few moments. Images of her fighting with Jin and the days she had to struggle all alone with two children, and the incident that just happened today kept flashing into her mind. And she couldn't stop sobbing. The pain of losing her husband and thought of being all alone is killing her from inside. She has no one to share her pains with. She's all alone now, even though, she has children.

-I love you, honey and everything that you gave me. Your name, our home, the symbol of our love; our kids, everything. I love them and I'll always love them. But I don't think I deserve love...

Tears continued to roll down her cheeks.

-I lost you when I needed you the most.

She wiped off the tears from her cheeks.

-And now, I think I'm gonna lose them too. They don't love me at all.

She leaned down to put her head on her knees and continued crying.

-Why? Why you left me?

She closed her eyes and still crying.

-I miss you so much, Jin.....

**After half an hour**

(Phone Ringing)

-Huh? M..m... my phone...

Juli didn't know when she fell asleep. She wiped off the tears and received the call.

-H...hello...

Juli yawned.

-Mam, where are you?

-At home, but why did you call me? What's the time now??

She was rubbing her eyes, still feeling sleepy.

-We've some difficulties, Mam. You needa come here, immediately.

She jumped on that window seat.

-Did something happen, Jimin?

-I can't tell you via call. Please come quickly, mam.

-Okay, just give me 15 minutes. I'll be there.

She cut the call then went straight into the bathroom to have a shower, then she dressed up in a black and white tshirt stripped two piece set and went to her office driving her new black car. Actually, Juli is working as a software developer in a company. And the guy called her earlier , Jimin, is her assistant.

She was driving her car and thinking in her mind about the worst thing that could happen in her office, even though, she didn't know what happened. When she reached her office, she found Jimin, along with her other Co-workers standing, waiting for Juli in the parking lot.

They looked really frustrated about something.

-I guess, something big happened.

She thought it in her mind. She got out of the car and started walking towards them.

-Jimin, guys, now quick. Show me the problem.

She said that to them very fast.

-Mam, it's just...

-Come on, tell me . What is it?

They were looking at each other with a tension and fear in their eyes.

-What?

Jimin opened his mouth.

-Mam, actually, in your desk, there's nothing yours. You got replaced by someone.

-What?!

She couldn't believe her own ears what she just heard. Hearing this, she didn't waste a minute and rushed towards her desk. And guess what? There weren't anything in that desk that belonged to her. It got replaced.

-But...th...then... w...wh...where's mine?

Jimin came in front of her and other co-workers were standing behind her.

-Actually, Boss said that...

Juli looked into his eyes.

-What, Jimin?

They looked at each other. Jimin was hesitating. Juli gave up all her hopes. She knew what they're going to say. She's not going to work here anymore.

-Jimin-ah, Please, tell me the truth. Don't hesitate, please...

-That you got promotion.

-What?!

Juli exclaimed. It's a surprising news. She didn't expect to hear this. She thought boss doesn't want her in this office anymore.

-Yeah...mam, congratulations.😊

-Really? Oh my God... I can't believe it.

She covered her mouth with her hands.

-Yep, it's true. Congratulations, mam.

-Oww...thank you...😊😄

-Oh, won't you see your new desk?

-Oh, yeah, sure. Where is it?

-It's in there. You go first. We'll catch you up later.

-Okay...😊

She turned around and walked towards her new desk. And before she even reached there, she knew and was sure that her every single thing is placed perfectly on her new desk. Even her co-workers know that she likes everything to be kept perfectly, she's like her daughter in these sides.

She was feeling so happy as she got promotion and didn't have any idea what more (surprise) is waiting for her. When she reached her new desk, she saw a beautiful chocolate cake over the desk. And something is written on the cake. She went there to see what's written on it. And when she saw it, she became so shocked. On that cake, it's written,

It's her birthday!

But even she didn't remember it as her day started with all those painful words and behaviours of her daughter. She was so lost in her thoughts that she flinched when her co-workers clapped behind her. She turned around to see them. They were clapping and wishing her,

"Congratulations, Mam"

"Happy Birthday to you, Mam"

She was looking at her co-workers happy faces. Yeah...they remembered her birthday or most likely, Jimin was behind all these. But even though he arranged everything, Juli knows; to these people, their Juli mam's happiness matters more than anything else. They didn't just do it for formalities. Yea... they really love her so much. They did all those things just to make her happy. A soft smile formed on her face thinking all of those things. Even she didn't know when she started crying. This time, not in pain, nor sadness. But because she was feeling happy... Tears of happiness continued to roll down her cheeks and that soft smile was still on her face...

At about 6 pm, she returned home. She looked through front door glass of the car.

She was thinking if she should enter or not. What if her daughter is still angry? After thinking for a long time, she decided to enter. She got out of the car and slowly walked towards the main door.

Reaching the door, she looked at the doorbell. Still she was thinking if it was the right time to enter or not. She was also thinking about how to fix her daughter's mood.

Juli sighed deeply, then pressed the doorbell. Her heart was beating faster and she was sweating too when she heard someone coming towards the door to open it. She held her breath, and once the door is opened, she sighed in relief. It was Jungkook who opened the door.

-Mom? You're late...

She pulled him closer to her and gave him a tight hug. Jungkook is now alone in the home that means Lisa hasn't returned from her school. She's having extra classes for her upcoming exams.

-Mom, are you alright?

-No... I mean, yes. I'm alright.

Jungkook raised one of his eyebrows. He was confused.

-Oookay... come inside then...

She released him from that tight hug and started walking towards her room without even closing the door or saying anything to her son. Jungkook was left in shock seeing her action.

-Strange...

Saying that, he turned around to close the door when he felt pain over his neck.

-Ouch... oh my neck... Mom, what have you done??!...Oh!!

He was massaging his neck, closed the door and walked towards his mom's room.

-Mom?

-Yes... come inside.

He entered the room, staring at his mom without blinking.

-What is it, dear?

-Umm...

Juli smiled seeing her son hesitating.

-Come here.

Saying that, she held his hand and made him sit down on the bed. She sat beside him.

-Now, tell me.

He looked straight into her eyes.

-It's your birthday right, Mom?

Juli smiled softly. She knows what he's gonna say next.

-Don't say it, honey.

She whispered.

-I'm really sorry, mom.

-Don't be, honey. It's nobody's fault.

-But it's your birthday, yet you got scolded today.

He lowered his gaze. Juli smiled and pulled him into her embrace.

-Don't be sad, honey. I'm not sad at all.

He looked at her.

-Really?

She chuckled loudly.

-Yep...

-Okay.



All of a sudden, his expression changed and he started smiling like a bunny, like he always does.

-Then, it's party time.

-W...what? What party?

-Oh come on, mom... it's your birthday. We need to celebrate it. I prepared everything.

-Everything?!

-Yep.

Juli was thinking what he had planned to do. And then the doorbell rang. She flinched.

-The cake is here!!!

As soon as Jungkook heard the sound of the doorbell, he exclaimed in joy. Juli gasped. She thought it's Lisa.

-Cake?

Juli whispered. She got up from the bed and started walking towards her son's direction. She came downstairs and found her son standing in the living room with a wide smile on his face. And it's really hard for Juli to stop laughing whenever he smiles like that.

-Don't just stand there, Mom. Look, I ordered this cake for you.

-You?

He smiled widely.

-Yep. And I ordered our dinner too. Tonight, You don't have to work anymore.

Juli's eyes were filling up with tears hearing what her son just said. He noticed it. So he walked towards his mom.

-Mom...

-Thank you so much for everything.

Juli was sobbing. Jungkook smiled.

-Okay...now, no more crying. Come on. Cut the cake. Now!!

Jungkook was desperate to cut the cake or more accurately, to eat. He was jumping like a bunny in excitement.

-Not now, lil bunny...

He pouts. Juli chuckled loudly.

-Just wait till your sister returns, okay?

-Oh...ho...

He looked at the cake with a expression like he never going to eat that again, as if saying goodbye to that cake.

Juli chuckled.

-It's okay, dear. You'll get a large piece, don't worry.

-Yay!!! Thank you, mom.

Saying that, he hugged his mom. But his neck was paining too much.

-Ouch...

-What is it?

-My neck is hurting.

Juli's eyes widen.

-Let me see.

-No...no its gonna be alright.

-Sure?

-Yea... definitely.

Juli pulled him into her embrace again but this time being careful, not to hurt him anymore.

**Time skips**

Juli was sitting on a couch in the living room and reading a magazine. Suddenly, the doorbell rang. Juli glanced at the wall clock, it's 8 pm already.

-Must be Lisa.

Doorbell still ringing.

-Wait... wait... coming.

She rushed towards the door to open it. And when she opened the door, she saw Lisa standing with a young boy who's backfacing Juli. And when she opened the door, the boy turned around to see her. It was Yoongi, Lisa's boyfriend.

He was wearing Black blazer over a white shirt.

It seemed he had some kind of performance and after that, Lisa brought him here.

-'Why did she bring him here? At this time?'

Juli was thinking in her mind. Suddenly, making her surprised, Yoongi gave her a warm and Welcoming hug.

-Happy Birthday, Mom.

Juli smiled. He never forgets. How can he? To him, Juli is his mother.

Yoongi doesn't have family. He once asked Juli if she'd be his mom cos he likes her so much. That day, she made him her son and never thinks him to be an outsider. She adores him as much as she adores her children. Yoongi is like a son to her too. And To him, she's his mom and he can do anything for Juli. Juli and Jungkook calls him 'Suga'.

-Thanks, Suga. Come inside.

Juli welcomed him. But she's still thinking why he's here at this time. When Lisa was about to enter, Juli stopped her by grabbing her hand. Lisa rolled her eyes.

-What is it?

-It's just, why did you bring him at this time?

Juli whispered as she didn't want Yoongi to hear it.

-Why? What's wrong in it?

-No... it's just. He's not supposed to be here now.

Lisa chuckled loudly.

-Is it his fault that he came all the way here just to wish you?

Juli turned around only to see Yoongi playing with Jungkook in the living room.

-But...

-Oh come on... he's my boyfriend. And it's my home. So, I can do whatever I want.

Lisa rolled her eyes again.

-Yeah but...

-I brought him here to spend night with him, happy now?

Juli's eyes widen. But before she could say anything else, Lisa left her sight and stepped into the living room where Yoongi was playing with her brother.

Juli closed the door and started walking towards the living room. Lisa's words were still stuck in her mind. It didn't seem Lisa was saying things like that.

She couldn't stop herself from thinking about what her daughter just said. What if they're going to do anything like that? How will she be able to stop them??
