A Rogue For The Alpha Twins

"I, Lucas Gray, Alpha the Dark moon pack, denounce Sophia Roman as a member of this pack!"

As soon as he said that, I began to feel a burning pain in my chest, making me weaker than I was already. I could feel the pack's link severing. I feel empty. I am no more in a pack. Am now a rogue.

"No! no please don't do this to me." I went on my knees shouting and crying but nobody was paying attention to me.

"If you agree with my decision to denounce Sophia as a member of the pack, say I do". The Alpha carried on.

"I do!" Everyone in the pack shouted except for my two friends Lily and Elsa who were busy crying at the side. There is nothing they could do. After all, they are just omegas like me.

"What kind of pack is this?" I wondered. It's not as if I committed any crime at all. The only excuse they have for banishing me is that I shifted late. "Like is this even legal?" I questioned myself.

I looked up to my parents who were seated beside the Alpha in disbelief, I can't believe that they will do this to me. What kind of parents were they? But what will I expect? They have been ignoring me since I turned fourteen and did not shift like every other werewolf was supposed to.

"You have twenty minutes to leave this pack or face the consequences rogue!. The gamma of the pack rudely said to me as he kicked me in my stomach.

I scream as I feel the pain. But I knew if I keep lying down there, they will carry out their threats and actually harm me. So With the little strength that I have left, I got up and did the only thing a rogue knows how to do.

I ran.

It's been two days since I have been running non-stop. I was tired both physically, emotionally and mentally.

Being a rogue means that you can be attacked or killed by any pack, vampires or hunters or other rogues.

Every pack thinks every rogue is bad. That is basically because before you will get banned from your pack you must have committed an unforgivable sin. I used to think that way too but I guess there is something wrong just like me.

As for Vampires, those blood suckers use rogues as their prey and witches use them for experiments. The hunters, because they know that they can attack a wolf pack without asking for war, settle on hunting rogues. Although they sometimes make attacks on packs.

Being a new rogue means that you can be easily attacked by the older rogues.

I am tired of running and decided to take a rest. I sat under a tree and reflected on my life since I turned fourteen.

Ever since I clocked fourteen and did not shift, I became a target to everyone in the pack and a disgrace to my family.

When I didn't shift, my family started ignoring me, and the rest of the pack mistreated me. Beat me, hurt me, make me scream in pain. Finally, the day before yesterday was my 18th birthday, and I unexpectedly shifted. My parents finally gave me their attention, but it all changed when my shift was finished. I shifted into an omega. My family considered that as very shameful and disgraceful considering that they were the Beta lineage of the pack.

I was an omega. Nothing better than dirt on their shoes.

And now I am a rogue, an easy prey in the eyes of others.

I don't even know how long I will survive this.

I knew that I could probably die any moment from now.

Still lost in my thoughts, I didn't notice that two people were approaching me.

" well! Well! What do we have here!"

I raised my head and lo and behold two dirty men looking at me with hunger in their eyes. Looking at their appearance, I knew that these men were rogues. Probably been a rogue for a long time.

Well this is it, I thought to myself. This is how I am going to die. I haven't even met my mate yet, I thought to myself as I began to cry. I cried for my unfortunate life. Oh! Where have I gone wrong? I can't remember ever offending the moon goddess at any point in time of my life, so I wonder how come I am so unlucky.

First of all, I shifted late, secondly when I finally shifted, I shifted into an omega, an abomination to a family who all shifts into a beta from generation to generation. Thirdly, I was cast out of my pack and became a rogue and lastly, am about to die after being a rogue for just two days.

The men kept coming closer to me, I know in my heart that I can't fight them after all I am just a poor little omega. But I decided that I wasn't going down without a fight. I looked around me and saw a stick lying close to me and I decided to use it as my weapon. As soon as one man got to me, with the little strength I had left me I took the stick and struck him with it and then I stood up to run.

Well I managed to run a few steps before someone grabbed me from behind and fling me to the trees. I had forgotten that the rogue was two in number.

I think my back is broken. I couldn't even move if I wanted to. Everybody and everything has their limit and well I guessed I have reached mine. I just laid and waited for my fate.

"You bitch you think you can get away from us, by the time we are done with you, then you will know".

The rogues came on to me and just as they were about to touch me, we heard a growl coming from behind us.

Looking back I saw three mighty wolves making their way towards us. The men who were attacking me where suddenly shivering in fear.

The last thing I remember before going unconscious was someone whispering into my eyes.

" we got you, don't worry".

I woke up to the beeping of a machine beside me. I opened my eyes and looked around. I noticed that I am in the hospital. There are several machines attached to my body. I tried recalling what happened. I remembered being banned, running for two days, taking a rest and the rogues that attacked me before I passed out and I can't remember anything else. I immediately panicked.

"Oh my god! Oh my god!" Where am I? Who brought me here?". The heart matching attached to me started beating very fast, rhyming along with my heart. That must have attracted the attention of the people outside because the next thing I saw was a woman wearing a lab coat rushing inside the room to me.

"Hey! Calm down please, nothing is going to happen to you, you are safe okay!" She said to me in a calm pleading voice.

And that calmed me down. The next thing I felt was an injection piercing into my arm. And I immediately went back to sleep.

When I woke up later, I was more calm than before. I looked around the room and it looked like a hospital room. A luxurious one. If not because of the machines and medical equipment, I would have thought that I am in a hotel room.

Just then, the door opened and the lady entered into the room with a big smile over her face.

"Hey, how are you feeling now?" She asked me.

I nodded my head indicating that I was fine.

"That's good! My name is Rose and I am one of the pack's doctors.

so i am in a pack, that means it was werewolves that saved me from those rogues.

I looked at her in confusion wondering which pack was this.

I guessed my face gave away my thoughts.

"Oh! In case you are wondering you are in the Sky blue pack. Our Gemma and one of our warriors were the one ..."

I blocked everything she said as soon as I heard THE SKY BLUE pack. Every werewolf knows about them. They were the second most powerful pack apart from the Royal pack. The sky blue pack was also the largest pack with over a thousand members. The best thing about them was that they were ruled by two Alphas. No wonder they were the best. I mean there is a saying that says two heads are better than one. The pack is also known for not taking nonsense from anyone. I wondered what would happen to me as soon as I left the hospital. There is a high possibility that I will be killed. Maybe I should pretend to be sick longer so that way I can extend my lifespan.

"Anyway, two of your ribs are broken apart from that you are fine. In two days time you should be completely fine.

"So..." Rose began striking a conversation with me again.

"What happened to you? How did you become a rogue? You still smell nice so I guess that you have recently become a rogue."

"I..

Just as I was about to answer her, the door opened and a girl rushed.

"Hey Rose, hey dear beautiful rogue!" The girl greeted jovially.

" That's rude Lisa, you can't call her a rogue, she has a name. Wait I don't even know your name" Rose said looking directly at me. The new girl Lisa was also watching me with curiosity.

"Sophia!" I answered in a whisper as I bow my head down. Am not sure they heard me though. I am naturally a timid person and I normally don't like being the mist of people.

"Well nice meeting you Sophia, what a lovely name you got there. Can I call you Princess Sophia? you know like The Disney princess Sophia the first." As you know Lisa is the best friend to this brat here" Lisa answered as she threw a pillow at Rose who re- threw the pillow at her. Soon they started a pillow fight.

I smiled as I looked at them. What a lovely friendship I thought. I remembered my former pack Elsa and Lily. They were the two people Whom I actually felt comfortable with. I wondered how they were doing. Thinking about them made me emotional and I didn't even realize that I was crying.

"Oh! You poor thing, you must have really gone through a lot! Come here". Rose hugged me. Personally I can't remember the last time someone hugged me. It feels so good to be hugged.

I hugged her back and began to cry out from the bottom of my heart.

After crying for about two hours, I finally felt better. It's actually good to cry. When you cry you relieve the sadness and grieve in your heart.

"Are you feeling better now?" Rose asked me in a gentle voice.

I nodded my head at her. She is very nice and compassionate . I am just a rogue and she is treating me with love and care. no wonder she is the pack's doctor. I remember the doctor at my old pack. She is very rude and heartless. On top of it all she resembles an ugly duckling unlike Rose who looks breathtaking with her deep blue eyes, curly ginger hair, pinky lips and a glowing skin.

"Hey! Who missed me!" Lisa said as she made her way back into the room. She had left earlier when I started crying. I guess she wants to give me space.

"Nobody!" Rose replied as she rolled her eyes at Lisa.

"O shut up! Am sure Princess Sophia missed me, am I right?

I nodded my head at her. I really need to stood nodding as if I am a lizard, I thought to myself.

"See! the princess has MISSED me!" Lisa said, stressing the "missed" as she stuck her tongue out at Rose.

"Whatever!" Rose said as she rolled her eyes at Lisa.

"Whatever!" Lisa repeated.

I laughed at how childish they were acting. I didn't know that I laughed out loud until I noticed both of them looking at me with smiles on their faces.

"Well you do have a beautiful laughing princess!" Lisa commented and Rose nodded her head in agreement to that.

"Anyway, I brought food, I think we should eat before it gets cold," Lisa said as she brought out warmers from the leather bag she came back with.

After we finished eating, I decided to tell them my story. After all, they have been very nice to me.

I cleared my throat and began, " I am from the Dark Moon pack, I was banished from my back because of shifting late and worse into an omega." Tears were already falling from my eyes as I remembered all that I experienced this week.

"What! What kind of a stupid reason is this? They have no right to banish you on such an account." Lisa said, boiling with anger.

"That's true, I don't think the council of elders will be happy to hear about this". Rose answered.

"Don't worry, our Alphas will know what to do."

Just then two people entered the room, they were both about 6.2 feet tall and very muscular.

"Beta Jason, Gamma Alfred! Good morning" Rose and Lisa greeted them with a little bow.

"Morning!" The Gamma replied with a little smile on his face.

"So how is the ROGUE doing" the Beta asked to stress the word rogue.

I shivered at the sound of his voice and bowed my head down.

"Stop it Jason, you are making her afraid. The poor girl has been a lot already". Lisa scolds the beta who softens his looks now.

"Don't blame me, if Xavier and Xiao were around I doubt they would allow her to stay here". The Beta stated and then continued "so as soon as she is better, I want her gone."

" That's not fair!" Lisa complained. " At least listen to her reason for why is a rogue before deciding on what to do with her. And technically, she isn't fully a rogue since she has just been one for two days only".

I like how they were talking about me as if I wasn't present there. Not that I am going to talk though. An omega has no right to talk in the midst of high rank officials except being asked to do so. Stupid rules. I know. But that's how it is in my ex pack.?I don't know if the rules are also valid here too.

"She was banished from her pack because she didn't shift early and when she finally did she shifted into an omega". Rose imputed trying to support me too. I am touched by their kindness. They only knew today and are doing this for her.

"What kind of a stupid reason is that?" Alfred the Gamma spoke for the first time since he came into the hospital room.

"Well if that's the case then, we will wait until Alphas return from their Journey next week, then we will decide on what to do with you!". The Beta said while looking directly at me.

"Thank you so much Beta Jason!" Rose and Lisa echoed.

The beta nodded his head and continued talking; "I will appoint a guard to keep watch of her, we might hear her story but we are not if it's true, for all we know she might be faking it!".

"But Beta, does she look like someone that can harm a fly? I mean look at her." Lisa stated as she pointed at me. Honestly speaking though, I look like someone a fly will hurt not the other way round.

"It's either that or she will be thrown in the dungeon until the Alpha returns."

"No! The guards are okay sir!" Lisa said as she saluted at the Beta.

The Beta and Gamma turned to leave. As soon as Beta's hand reached the door lock he turned as if he had forgotten something.

"Where are you going to be staying?".

"She can stay with me, I am sure John will not mind". Rose said.

"Okay, I will send the guards later on".

And then they left. I guess the Gamma is a quiet person; he just spoke twice since they came.

"That was easy!" Lisa said. "Are you okay?" She asked me and I gave her a small smile.

"So you will be staying with me, my house it's beside the hospital. All the pack doctors live near the hospital in case of any emergency. I just need to let John know". Rose said.

John must be her mate I thought, he is so lucky to have such a nice meet. I let out a yawn. I am so tired and sleepy but it would be rude of me to fall asleep when they were trying to keep me company.

Rose must have noticed my sleepiness. " You look tired. Get sleep, we will come back later okay?". Rose said to me as she hugged me and made her way to the door.

"Bye! See you later!" Lisa said as she hugged me and made her way out of the room.

A minute after they left, I went to sleep. I was exhausted physically and mentally.

When I woke up later on, it was already evening. I guess I slept for a long time. I can remember the last time I slept so peacefully. I usually wake very early and sleep very late. I do all the domestic work in our house and apparently everyone else was busy with their "beta duties". And although every pack leader was entitled to having an omega as a maid. But my parents refused and said that I was able to do all the chores by myself. Such wicked parents I have.

"Yeap! They are very wicked!" A gentle voice said.

I shot up from the bed and stood up. Is it my imagination or did I hear someone just talk.

"It's not your imagination, I actually talked!" The voice said again.

"Who are you?" I asked in a frightened voice.

"Am Aliyah"

"Who? Personally, I am very scared right now. Am starting to think that this room is being haunted by a ghost or an evil spirit.

"Oh god ! Why am I so unlucky in life? First I was banished, became a rogue, I was attacked and now I am having an encounter with a ghost!" I cried silently.

"Don't be silly, I'm not a ghost, it's me , your wolf!" The voice laughed.

"My what?" I asked still in confusion.

"Your wolf you dummy! Every werewolf has an inner wolf".

"Well then Aliyah, nice to meet you!"

" you as well".

And just like that, my wolf and I started gisting. At this point I know that I can never be bored. Aliyah was very fun to talk to.

Lost in the moment, I didn't notice that Rose came into the room already. She cleared her throat and I looked up and heard her big smile.

"Wow! What happened in the last five hours to make you so happy ? Did you dream about your crush?" She said as she raised eyebrows.

"What! No! I answered quickly, blushing. "I spoke to my wolf for the first time."

"O! That's really good. Say hi to her". Rose said

"Here" Rose said as past a shopping bag to me. Thanking her and then took the bag and opened it. Inside the bag where; inner wears, a toothbrush and other toiletries.

"Thank you so much!" I Said to her.

"Hey no problem, it's fine, I have got to go. I have other patients to attend to.
