Opening my eyes to the sounds of birds, I felt sore all over my body, but what had me feeling strange was that I couldn't feel Leonidas's warmth. I opened my eyes, stretched my limbs, and cleaned the crust in my eyes as I finally looked around. The room was filled with flowers, yet I did not see Leonidas. Getting up from my bed, I noticed I was wearing a new robe, and underneath was a new nightgown. Trying to stand was proving difficult as I felt sore in my most intimate body parts when I heard movement in the cottage, and as I walked one step at a time to the front of the house, I was met with the sight of the twin Dukes. He had left, and Leonidas was nowhere to be found. As I walked, I realized I was utterly indecent. I ran back into my room and then closed the door.

I saw I had a silver dress decorated with ruffles and trimmed with gray ends. Getting the dress ready, the doors burst open to reveal the twins' wicked grins on their faces. "We were sent to collect you, yet it has been indicated by your husband not to harm you," Jaxx said. Jaxton walked to the bathroom and came out with a wet towel. I felt my fears rise, yet I knew if I allowed them, they would place their hands on me. Walking back, I tried to use my tone as the Queen I am. Yet no matter how hard I tried, the towel made me inhale deeply. My wolf was sleeping as Jaxx and Jaxton both held me down.

Jaxton placed the wet towel on my nose. It made me feel dizzy when I felt something enter my lower abdomen. I felt tears stream down my face. I felt their hands on me. I still felt sore from last night, and the pain burned me. After a while, they stopped and then walked out of the cottage. I wasn't sure who it was, but one of them said, "Get ready, your highness; you are needed at the reunion." I closed my eyes momentarily as I felt my world had finally broken. The feelings of being hurt, used, and abandoned eventually consumed me. Crying in silence, I get up from the bed. I believed I had made love to a man who loved me. Yet it felt like he had used me, leaving only flowers that would never bloom in their garden. This cottage felt as if it was swallowing me whole. I glanced at my dress and knew my heart now had no owner. Not a soul truly wanted me. I felt dead. As I started changing, I refused to look at my body. I would never look at the part that was ripped from me. As I tried to ignore the images, the laughter of Jaxx and Jaxton started to be heard. I felt too mute to speak and had no energy to defend myself, yet I felt bitter knowing they were standing outside. I refused to give in. Nobody would ever touch me.

My heart was locked away as I saw myself dressed in my finest attire in my reflection. I vowed to myself to hurt those who had hurt me. No longer did I have feelings to spare for those who faked innocence? This cottage brought me to reality, which I will end today. My anger rose, the energy I had locked away was released, everything in this cottage was shattered, and the electrical currents destroyed everything in their path. I could see what was waiting outside as it destroyed the place itself. I saw Elder Lion's expression. He was mortified and fearful of what I had done, yet as I saw him, my electrical world winds stroked him: "Have you gone mad, my Queen Louise?" He shouts at me. I glanced at the twins on my right, who were stuck in their place, shocked at my behavior. Knowing they would not try more, I sent electrical currents to their most sensitive organs. As I heard them scream in agony, I took steps to the now-cleared floor and said, "I have gained a new perspective. This place is to be destroyed. It has served a horrible purpose. Where is my father?" I requested him to tell me, yet a mind link had arrived when I asked, 'Louise, you are required to assist us in the meeting room. I did not reply to my father as I walked to the main structure. I let my electrical currents destroy the remaining cottage that had finally heard of explosives. As the cottage was on fire, last night's song came to mind. Walking, I started to sing, "I summoned you." I turned to the left to follow straight into the main building as crying screams were heard. I kept on singing, "Don't hurry thoughts that you want, I fill you up, drink from my cup with me what you want." I walked inside the main structure to walk up the stairs, and as I did, I sang, Come, lay me down, cause you know this, cause you know this love, I'm yours to tame, I'm aware awake, I crave your hate, these burning flames, these crashing waves wash over me like a hurricane, I captivate, you're hypnotized, feel powerful, but it's me again. The doors opened to show all but Leonidas.

Knowing his Marquess Leto was sitting in his estate made it clear to me that I had been placed back in the same position three years ago, only this time, I refused to be a part of this cat and mouse trap. "I apologize for my tidiness. However, I don't believe a settlement is ever needed. I accept the war King Leonidas has risen and refuse to give him any future assistance," Marquess Leto stood from his seat as he hit the table; my father growled in a dangerous tone, "Queen Louise, I realize that my King and confidence is not here to give his attention on these matters. Still, he doesn't wish to keep the war with you. All he wishes is a peaceful exchange." I let my powers flow in this room, "I deny anything that is to come from that ignorant bastard. If you dare to follow me, I shall not hesitate in attacking you and your men," my electrical current hit his chest that, made him land on the ground to which I add, "let this be a warning I am not to be taken as any fool from your kind! Or of my subjects! As a testimony of my words, I will place a hanging on the twin Dukes for their evil dead's of this evening," I turned my heel to walk out of the main room as I sent a mind link to all my guards, 'find the twin dukes and hold them in the cages on the main village, NOW!' I walk out of the main structure to enter my residence when my father shouts a command that doesn't affect me, "Louise, stop!"

I stood in the double doors, "you have no right to control me anymore," I replied my father in bitterness, "Louise, you have just declared war!" I growled at my Father and allowed my wolf to take over. As I turned, I saw a heartbroken expression on my father. I growled at him as he stood still, "he left you alone after the deed had been dealt with, did he?" My father spoke brokenly, "I apologize for my ignorance, my daughter. I will stand by your side. I have no words other than my apologies and loyalty. However, my dear, I need you to run this energy; we will direct things with the Fenrisúlfr clan at a later time, but as for the twins, we will act on their betrayal if you show me what has happened to have declared such actions," his words made me run to him, as I ran my heart felt tight by his words, Lupe showed out of nowhere as I couldn't stop on time she bit my shoulder preventing me from running, I felt everything I had lived till now was now in Lupe's mind as she reached what had happened earlier this morning she let go of me. I darted to the woods, running. I let my cries out, the pain, betrayal, hate, frustration, and disillusioned heart be heard with each of my shouts. As I finally felt tired, I stopped in the darkest parts of the woods, letting out a heart-crushing howl. As I ended my declaration of pain and suffering, I turned to return home to my estate on neutral grounds.

57. Leonidas POV

Meeting with the new day after I had filled my loved body with my heart's desires for her felt like I had lived forever to have one night with my mate. I prayed to the moon goddess and slowly retired from my mate's embrace. It felt as if I was sinning. Yet I knew none of my words must have reached her: 'My King, I have arrived to assist you. We must speak immediately. I heard the link from my Marquess. I placed my hooded coat on and moved to the bed, where my partner was sleeping soundly. I had washed her and cleaned the bedding, and now I had to leave my love for some time. I knew I would be paying this to her parents. I knew the King would be furious with me. These choices that were tearing me apart would never be enough to justify my actions, but I swore I would be back for her. Kissing my lover's lips, I treasured her scent again before leaving our home. In four days, I will return to you, my Louise. I pray your heart didn't abandon my own. Seeing Leto holding two pups in his arms had given me the pain and anger I had forgotten while being with my mate: 'Are these Ina's pups?' I asked, to which Leto nodded, 'Follow me. We walked to my estate, where I knew what to do with these pups.

Just as my love has given the word to Lupe to remain in her bed chambers, I have Marquess Leto's mate working for me. His mate is of the Skoll clan. Thankfully, Enzo and I had agreed to have a peace treaty; I could link him at a particular distance, and he could do the same in return. These rogues had been blessed by mating and others as far as marking their mates, but none of them have reconciled with the goddess of such acts, making the war run a much more dangerous course. 'Klaudia, come to the front of the castle; you are requested to babysit a couple of pups. I linked her, and she replied quickly, Yes, my King. As I opened the doors of my castle, there she stood patiently, asking, "Klaudia?" I heard Leto speak as I opened my estate doors, which made him run to his mate and say, "I thought the King had moved you away to your clan. Why are you here?" He asked her in disbelief. Seeing their encounter filled with love, hope, and desire made me miss my mate. The fear of having anyone learn about us did not matter to me. I had seen so many find their fated mates between clans that my desire to be with Louise was more prominent. "I had begged the king to allow me to stay here in his clan, and he agreed as long as you would," She blushed at the words she had to speak, to which I linked Leto: 'Are you going to mate and mark your fated mate, Leto?' He turned to me with an expression no man had ever shown me. He looked ripped from his composure and was in desperate need. Please, my king, I beg that you allow me to do so. I love my mate more than anything in this world, ' he stated, to which I smiled. I was glad to have learned of Klaudia when she showed herself on my way to meet Louise. She explained everything, I didn't see a reason to send her away.

I felt my heart had been placed in the right direction as I said out loud, "We must unite you to our clan, Klaudia. Once the deeds have been done, these pups need to be looked after, but I believe I can have two of my servants do this for me. I walked towards them as I took the pups from Leto; he didn't wait to take his mate's hand to leave for his bed chambers. Holding these two pups, I wondered how long Ina would be acting in innocence, acting in such a hostile manner towards me. These two pups resembled those of the Itah clan; they looked just like pups, and nothing was human about their expressions. Staring at them, I gave them to the two servants that had come not long after Leto had left. As I started preparing myself to go, I received a link from a guard: 'My King, an emergency reunion has been set today. Hearing his words as I walked out of my bed chamber, I saw Leto pulling his now-marked Klaudia; the aroma of their mating was evident. Smiling at him, I realized we didn't need centuries to unite one or another clan. Therefore, I tried to link to Enzo. 'Enzo, I require your assistance if you are not busy?' Walking towards Leto, I heard Enzo speak, "Congratulations, young lads!" He shouts in joy. My friend had become the happiest as he welcomed his triplets into the world: "This case needs to be taken care of as I'm needed back in the castle, Marquess Leto; you will substitute me for the meeting at hand, Enzo. How can I have my Marquess mate remain in position?" Enzo extended his hand as he took a knife from his hand. "Klaudia Skoll, correct?" She nodded at him, raising his free hand. He barely took her hand, and Leto growled at him, "I will relinquish her from my clan to yours. I believe we can do this by stating her full name and my own, and I had to do this to my first wife, now Klaudia. Once I'm done with my words, I need you to wait for me to say my part first, and then you repeat from your name forward, alright?" Klaudia nodded, "I, King Enzo Skoll of the Skoll clan, herby release you, Klaudia Skoll, from my pack to the ruling of King Leonidas Fenrislfr," he slashed his hand as I then heard Klaudia speak, "I, Klaudia Skoll, accept to renounce to serve under the ruling of King Enzo Skoll." There Enzo cut her palm. I held Leto in my hands as he was about to pounce on Enzo for hurting his mate. Calm down, I told him, to which he started to calm down as we saw the force being transferred from her to my own. A new link had been added, and I heard Leto purr.

Enzo smiled at me as he said, "I'm sure we will one day meet with our young ones, I have proudly become a father of three sons, Leonidas, but I fear my beloveds are upset with the neglect Louise has provided to them. Please try to have her see my wives; they miss their childhood friends," I gave him a sad smile, to which he replied with the same. As Enzo started to walk away, Leto kissed Klaudia passionately, which gave me a pained feeling of knowing my mate wasn't here with me. Perhaps sending her my most crucial member could help her see I did not abandon her. Klaudia, as a Marquess, you have a duty to me that no other can substitute; please become the confidence of my mate while I'm not here, help me win her heart, and Enzo, please assist me with this; I require your assistance." Enzo turned to reply, "always my dear good friend, I will invite her over to my estate soon." I nodded in appreciation. Klaudia looked a bit nervous but nodded as Leto held her tightly. "I have no reason to state a lie. I will go to her estate to meet her. Perhaps she will be more willing to learn of my current status?" I nodded at her as I walked away, saying, "Anything you believe would help me win my mate over, I would appreciate it immensely." I knew I was needed back in my estate. There were plans I needed to eliminate after I realized I had a mole in my pack. Walking out, I quickly took the set of pants with the shirt to discard my current garments. I need to run to my castle and start preparing to clean those who live in it, yet before I can go, I hear a commotion from the village of last night. It took my attention as I saw guards of the Arkitisk clan opening cages. I took my clothes off to walk down as I shifted into my human form. I then saw what was happening.

There would be a hanging. A growl had escaped me, "Why you no good for nothing of devils for dukes!" I spat at Jaxx and Jaxton. They looked fearful but filled with no regrets, "what have you both done?" I demanded as the guards left us alone. The cages were not appropriately locked, "you believed to be the only one who wanted to have a go at the Queen?" Jaxx replied. As Jaxton laughed, he added, "Good idea in ruining her purity first we could smell the sexual desires left on her, and within her," Jaxx then spoke once more as I opened with force Jaxton's cage, "We left her alive for you to use when you like," those were the words I refused to accept, "you both have harmed my mate!" I shouted to them. Their expressions had changed, "You both end today" My claws took the hearts of each one of them. With their hearts in my hands, I placed two pouches of coins individually inside them. Leaving the tent that was on the back of where the hanging would take place, I gave the guards each a coin pouch, "send these to King Irvan," I requested when they looked at me with odd expressions as their eyes changed to a link I turned to run to my castle when one of them shouted as I jogged to start shifting, "halt! Our Queen wants you!" Hearing them, I moved with my clothes at hand. I went into my wolf once I was in the woods, and I ran to my castle.

Returning to my kingdom, I saw everyone taking their route as guards to my estate. I was happy to have seen things progress, yet, to my disadvantage, I had arrived alone with the sole intention of learning anything to help participate in this war. Why did I leave this to my father, who was clearly on board with this relationship that would never fully work? Seeing the castle, I looked ahead to see that Lupe had arrived sooner than me; she didn't look happy to see me, but I wasn't there for her. Passing her, she spoke, 'Queen Louise, Isabella is inside with Irvan; are you sure you wish to be a part of this?' She asked me, which made me stop. I did not see them in the reunion of the neutral grounds, as I believed he was running late, not that he had left back to the castle, 'why are they here?' I asked, annoyed, as if they could do what they wished without my permission. Walking in my wolf form, I entered my room, changing into a silver and gray dress. A maid placed my hair in a French tail, then put it in a bun with gold diamonds to adorn it. My crown was established right after. Getting up, I knew I had to be ready for anything these two might have in store, yet I would never be prepared to witness what was about to be shown.

I consented to give my purity to Leonidas because I swore he had let everything he did in our past stay in our past, yet here I was, broken, unwanted, and unneeded by anyone I had been brought up to depend on. Getting ready, I opened the doors of my room to see a maid standing in front. "My Queen," she bowed, indicating her respects, "the King wishes to see you with his concubine." I furrowed my eyebrows as I replied, "Direct me." We walked to Irvan's tower, where I could hear groaning and moaning, which had left me wanting to leave this forsaken place. Letting out a breath, I hear my guards linking me. 'My Queen, we are in the borders with the Fenrislfr clan, who are trying to enter our lands!' Hearing this while in front of my husband's bed chambers, I replied, 'Keep them to their side if they try anything to attack them. As I answered, I said, "King Irvan, Im here as requested." The doors opened as I linked those around here and the rest of the maids to the bunkers. They left when the doors opened, and I pushed them open to a sight I was not expecting to see: "Irvan!" I shouted as I saw him thrust inside Isabella, who was losing her mind in lust, "What is the meaning of this?" As I closed the doors behind me, I demanded, "This is what I wanted to see." He spoke as he left Isabella's private part to turn her on her hands and knees. He then continued in this pose with her, "Tell me, does seeing us excite you, Louise?" He asked as Isabella started to moan, agreeing with what he was doing. "I refuse to be a part of this. There is an attack on the boarders from the Fenrislfr clan; we had declared war on him, and since you were the ones who sent the Dukes, you are held responsible for why they assaulted me, as they have been hanged in the village near the neutral grounds," This made him speed up his actions as he ejaculated He then spoke to me, trying to catch his breath Isabella fell onto the bed.

I wasn't looking at them directly, but I was staring at Irvan, his disgusting indications of what he believed I was worth and what I meant to him. I would have killed him if it weren't because I knew we needed to keep him alive just until I was of age. Yet this was not going to be tolerated by me; as I felt tears run down my face, Irvan spoke, "Well, then we need a new Duke to take over; who do you recommend, my Queen?" He said it as if we had a bond as if I mattered to him. Feeling my energy rise, he stopped smiling at me and said, "This is how you behave after learning of the deaths of two of your supporters? What kind of devil are you?" I shouted as I couldn't grasp anything he was insinuating, 'My Queen, we have been breached!' A guard linked me, making my choice to remain here less critical: "There's an attack at the border, Irvan. You are to work as a king with my father. My brother will do the new ones to be selected. You have no ruling; once I am of age, I will imprison you! And make you suffer for the hell you have brought upon me!" I turned to leave them behind, as I needed to let my hateful heart shock Irvan at least once, so I let out a spark of electrical current that hit Irvan on his left arm. As he groaned in pain, I walked out of the chambers. As I started to pick up my speed, I realized the village was still trying to move everyone into the bunkers, so I also decided to assist them instead of going and attacking with my guards. I arrived, and I started to help the minors and the mothers with their young ones into the bunkers. I made them as vast as possible, and it would take me a while to have them all go to the respected areas, but I had no fear that my kingdom could defend itself after a long time now that the sun was setting, as I heard from the guards.

"My Queen, those of the Fenrislfr have left us, yet we fear they are to return once again," he said in fear as we started to help those return to their homes. I, too, walked to the borders of my land. "Bring me the Changesites. Place them on each edge of our borders immediately." I requested it, and in no time, the crystals were placed in their respective positions. I stood before this forsaken board, allowing my energy to run its course. As I extended my hands to each side of the crystals, I let my powers leave my body, in which case the crystals began to fill with my energy one by one. They started to connect, having me in the middle of the process until I felt that all of them had been bound and others had come to pass by, but once I felt the connection between them, did my body feel tired? Once I thought the powers were drained from me, I let myself fall backward to where Lupe held me. "I have you, my Queen," she told me, to which I closed my eyes to fall into a deep sleep. As I woke up, I was not alarmed to see my mother by my side with my brother, saying, "Oh, thank goodness you're awake!" My mother shouted, making me feel like a headache had returned when a growl was heard: "Your yelling will harm her Queen Mother." I heard Lupe try to protect me; her presence was well-needed, and my mother's wasn't. I wished for her to leave me alone, but my mind was dizzy from the shouting after my energy had been given to protect my kingdom when I heard Lupe speak once more, "I will remain with our Queen and believe she should not have any visitors for a while, Queen Mother. I believed the neutral grounds required your assistance more than our Queen's kingdom." Lupe told my mother, who in turn growled back at her, "You are not to order me around; I'm her mother, and until she returns to her feet, I will not abandon her." She spoke a bit harshly when I finally moved to the side of Lupe. Leave, mother," was the only word I said to my mother, which I'm sure she hated, for she had abruptly stood from her chair. "You worried me sick only to be told I am not needed?" I did it her way; my head hurt, my body was weak, and to make matters worse, I have not heard of my wolf acting in any way; it felt as if she had left my side. Have I killed my wolf because of what I did? I thought about that as my mother stomped out of my bed chamber.
