If you are wondering what sort of landlord would knock at his tenant door in the middle of the night asking for his money then it's Mr Wendy! I came out from under the bed that I had squeezed myself in and waited to hear something but I couldn't. I silently hoped that he hadn't passed out at my front door. well it wasn't the first time it would be happening. I gently walked towards the door and placed my ear against the door and yes, he had passed out on my front door. I walked back to my bed and laid on it, still careful not to make any kind of noise. The next day I woke up and gently peeped outside to see if the landlord was still there but alas, luck was on my side today. I quickly stepped into my bathroom and had a quick bath after which i pulled put my clothe box and wore a blue jean,pairing it with a green sweater and tied my hair into a ponytail. I grabbed my bag and carefully unlocked the door, I peeped outside and all coast was clear so I walked out of the house but I stopped dead in my tracks on hearing the man' voice "Adeline! you're three months behind on my payment. I won't remind you after this again, instead I will throw you out of the house next time." He says and I turned to look at the man who had an Icebag on his head. that serves you right Mr Krabs. "I'm sorry MR Wendy, I will give you your payment soon, just have a little more time for me."I said and he smirked "You know there are other means that I collect for payment?" He hinted at me and I shuddered internally *I would rather swallow a live chicken than do whatever it was that he was hinting at me*. "There would be absolutely no need for that Mr Wendy, I told you that I would get you your money as soon as possible." I said and walked away as fast as MY legs could take her. Now you may be wondering just where it is that i am going too. well I have a bestfriend who works in JIVENCHY club. why did they call it Jivenchy? simple the owner loved designer products. I walked as fast as my legs could take me and soon I arrived at he club. I breathed sigh of relief as I cleaned the sweat pores on my forehead. " You are here earlier than usual today?" She said and i started to laugh on seeing her imitation of Natalie. it was more than a correct imitation of Natalie. "On a more serious note, why are you here so early?" Eva asked me and i sighed "MR WENDY"I told her and she groaned "House rent?" she said and I nodded "I have told you times without number to come stay with me." She said and i snorted "Eva, you already stay with three people in a room, I can't possibly come there and inconvinence the rest of you now, can i?" I said and she sighed "We will come up with something that will allow/make it easier for you to come stay with us." Eva said and I smiled "Eva, you really dont need to worry about me so much, I will definitely sort everything out but for now I would have to spend the entire day here and don't worry, I would help you in whatever way that i can."I said and she smiled. I have known for about 10 years now, we met at the mall where we were arguing about a pair of shoe, it was the only one remaining on the shelf and we both wanted to pay for it, an argument erupted from there but we eventually became friends,She became my best friend and I don't ever want to think about how my life would ever be like without her in it. "You have been here all day, dont you have anything better to do?" I heard Natalie say and rolled my eyes "Arent you supposed to be dancing or something?" I said and she smiled, walking away. Eva passed me a glass of tequila and I looked at her confused "Who should i give it to?" I asked and she groaned "Drink it Adeline, Try and let loose for some while and forget all about your problem." she said and i started to laugh over the extremly loud music. "two bottle od vodka." A young blonde man asked and she nodded, getting him his drink while i kept the glass of tequila on the stand "Drink it Adeline, forget your worries and sorrow for tonight and just be free." She told me and i thought about it. it didnt seem like such a bad idea. Wait! was I actually contemplating drinkng this? I looked at her face and boy was she not smiling so wildly "Come on Adele, it isnt such a bad idea as you think." She whispered and i rolled my eyes, I let down my ponytail and combed my hair with my fingers. "FINE! MAMA IS GETTING SOME ALCOHOL TONIGHT" I say and she chuckled, I took the glass and gulped it down at once. "Another one." I said and wiped the back of my hand against my mouth as she poured me another. I smiled and took it from her but then paused "Who is paying?" I asked and she chuckled 'I am' She replied me and I gulped down the entire drink, my head had started to feel wooshy from just two glass. Curse you alcohol. I woke up with a banging headache that even opening my eyes felt like hell. I sat up from the bed. Wait, bed? how did I get on the bed? The last I remember was in the club, My head started to hurt like hell when I started to think, I clasped my hand over my head and shut my eyes close but then I noticed something, I was naked! why was I naked? I looked back at the hotel I was standing at the front and immediately moved away from it as fast as I could. I waited under a shade for Eva to come and just about two minutes later, my phone started to ring and I picked it to see that it was Eva calling. I said, Eva opened her mouth to talk but she was interrupted. *Knock knock* We heard someone knock at my door and my eyes widen. "Who is it?" Eva mouthed at me and I shrugged. 'Adeline, I am here for my money so come out this minute, I know you are home now." I heard Mr. Wendy's voice and I froze "Oh my fucking fuck.!" I whispered and looked at Eva alarmed "Come out now Adeline and pay me my money!

CHAPTER 3 Eva looked at me confused while I paced around "Adeline, open the door this minute and pay me my money" Mr. Wendy says still banging the door really hard. "What do we do?" Eva asked me and I shook my head, I had no idea what to do right now. "Okay, I have an idea." she whispered, I looked at her expecting her to talk but instead she kept on shoving me to bend "Can't you just talk?"I whispered-yelled and she rolled her eyes. "Get under the bed," She said and I sighed, the man was banging much harder on the door.

I squeezed myself under the bed and prayed that whatever Eva wanted to say would actually work. I heard the door open "Where is Adeline, I want to see her this minute" Mr.Wendy snapped and Eva sighed "She is not home, I am the only one here right now but when she does come here then I will ask her to come to see you personally."Eva said the man scoffed "I saw her come in here but all of a sudden she has disappeared? what sort of magic is that?" He asked and I shut my eyes closed where I was. "Are you sure you don't need glasses because Adeline didn't come here with me, I came alone?" She told the man and I heard a long pause. "I will be back for my money, either Adeline is here or not, I don't care but let her know that whenever I see her will be her last time in this house because I will throw her out of this house." He said and walked away. Eva closed the door and I came out from my hiding place "What are you going to do now?" Eva asked and I sighed, sitting on the bed 'I have no Idea, Eva, He is determined to throw me out of the house and if he does, I have no idea where I would go to."I said and she sighed 'If that happens then you have to come to stay with me, Three roommates or not." I replied and watched as she walked out of the room, I stood up and closed the door behind her. I had no idea what to do, Mr. Wendy was more than ready to throw me out of the house and even with what Eva had said about her being welcomed to stay with her, It genuinely was something I couldn't do. I have to find a way to pay Mr. Wendy by all means. I stripped off my clothes and walked into the tiny bathroom and turned on the tap so I could bath but alas. Mr. Wendy had done his magic and cut my room off the water. What in the world was I supposed to do?; I mean this was my first time owing him his rent and all of this was just because I had gotten fired from my previous job four months ago, Now it wasn't as though I didn't try my best to get a new job but it has been proving extremely difficult for me. I got fired from my last job because the boss's insolent and stupid bratty son had thought it would b okay with me for him to grope my bum but then I gave him a befitting slap, one that he wouldn't ever forget in his lifetime. I picked my laptop and turned it on, checking my mail and internally praying that I would at least get good feedback from the companies I sent my resumes to. The first mail I clicked on said... "Dear Applicant, We are sorry to inform you that you did not make.,.." I hissed and deleted the mail immediately, checking my other messages but they were filled with the same thing "Rejection!" I groaned and attempted to close my mail but I paused, I still had one message that I hadn't read. I clicked on it and read through it. WAIT!? Ashford group of companies? when the fuck did I send them my Resume? and how the fuck did I miss the fact that I had an interview scheduled for tomorrow by 9? Ashford group? Did I by mistake send them my resume?
