"No, no. Please, you have to do something about it. You can't just leave him, he will die." Lily cried out as the doctor broke the news to her.

"But there is nothing I can do about it. We have tried to keep him stable for so long now and I don't think he has much time left. He needs an immediate kidney transplant." The doctor replied and Lily sniffed as more tears streamed down her eyes.

"Then give him mine. I am ready to... "

"I have told you countless times that we can't. Somehow, you guys don't match. Going ahead with it can you both you and your father." The doctor replied and she fell to her knees immediately.

"Please, please, doctor." She cried and the doctor tried to pull away from her but her grip on him was tight.

"Your father has forty-eight hours left, he won't make it without a new kidney. We have one that already matches his but we need you to pay before we commence the surgery, the donor isn't going to give it for free. We need four hundred thousand dollars to carry this out." The doctor explained and her heart shattered the more.

"How am I supposed to raise four hundred thousand dollars in forty-eight hours?" She asked in tears and the doctor successfully pulled away from her.

"I don't know, but if you want to save your father's life. Find that money by any means necessary." The doctor replied and walked away leaving Lily on the floor in tears.

She sniffed and slowly stood up, she felt the weight of the whole world on her shoulders as she dragged her feet towards her father's ward.

She got there and slowly walked in, she couldn't bear to stare at him and she burst into another round of tears and rushed out of the ward.

She slowly sat on the floor and leaned on the door as she cried her eyes out.

She couldn't let her father die! He is all she has, it has just been both of them for the past twenty years. Her mother left them for a millionaire years ago, Lily has no idea of the details of the story all she could recall was her father on his knees begging her mother not to leave.

She didn't listen to him and she left, weeks later, she was married to a millionaire. Turns out she was already pregnant with the man while she was still married to her father.

Her mother has been doing well while they have been suffering. She has refused to render any form of help to them the last time they contacted her fifteen years back. That was the last time Lily saw her mum.

Lily wiped her tears and slowly stood up. Sitting here and crying wouldn't raise the money and at the same time, she had no idea of what to do. No job could raise four hundred thousand dollars in forty-eight hours. No job could!

She made her way out of the hospital and held onto her bag tightly, she had no idea where to go or what to do, all she did was stand on a spot and watch.

A thought suddenly popped up in her head and she sighed, she knew that was the only way but it would be so difficult to do. It is been fifteen years! Would she even recognise her?

Lily decided to try her luck, she could still recall the address perfectly. She stared at the last few bucks of dollars in her hand and exhaled heavily before stopping a taxi. She got in and told the driver where she was heading.

After some minutes on the way, they got to the place and she paid the driver as she walked out. She stared at the house and took in a deep breath, she shook her head pushing off every thought that could bring tears into her eyes again.

She was about to knock when the gate opened automatically, she raised her brows surprised, and slowly walked in.

She paused when she saw guards in the building. One of them walked towards her.

"Good day ma'am, please how may I help you?" The guard asked.

"I am here to see Mrs. McCall." I replied. McCall is the last name of the man she got married to. Lily's last name was Harris.

"Do you have any appointments with her?"

"No, it is an emergency." She replied and he nodded in response.

"Please come with me." He said and walked ahead of her, Lily immediately trailed behind him and they both walked into the house.

The guard stood in front of Lily blocking her view from who was in the living room.

"Ma'am, there is someone here to see you." The guard said.

"Who?" Lily heard her mother reply and her heart raced, the guard moved away from her and her mother looked up at her.

Lily could swear she saw a flicker of emotion in her eyes but it disappeared immediately it came.

"Get out." Those were her first words and Lily felt her heart bleed. That was the first word her mother said to her after not seeing her for fifteen years.

Due to how hopeless she was, Lily fell on her knees immediately.

"Ma'am, please. My dad is dying, he is dying, and he... "

"It is none of my business if your father is dying." She cut her off.

"Please. You have to help him, I have nowhere to go but here. You are my last hope and the only one that can help me. If you wouldn't do it for anything, do it for the old time's sake. Please." Lily cried and her mother kept a stern look.

"Get out of my house. This is none of my business, your father can die and you can join him as well." She replied and Lily's eyes widened in shock.

She wasn't expecting that from her!

"Wh... what? How can you say that to your daughter?" Lily asked with a whimper.

"My daughter? You stopped being my daughter when you saw what happened twenty years ago and said nothing about it! My first daughter is not you. You are dead to me Lily, and you will forever stay dead!"

Lily gulped as she heard her mother's words, she felt knives piercing her heart as she stared at her.

"Mum." A voice suddenly called and a girl about Lily's age showed up in the living room.

"Hey, baby." Her mother's face lit up and the girl took a seat next to her and hugged her.

"Who is she?" The girl asked and her mother waved her hand in the hair.

"No one. She is irrelevant." Her mother replied and turned away from her and paid attention to the girl.

Lily felt like everything happening was all a dream but it was not, the pain she was feeling in her chest was real. The tears that streamed down her cheeks were real.

They got into a conversation and ignored Lily who was still on her knees. She slowly stood up and walked out of the house with the guard. He escorted her till she got out fully and the gate closed.

Lily exhaled heavily as tears streamed down her eyes again, she slowly brought out her phone with trembling hands and teary eyes.

She checked the time and breathed out heavily as she set a countdown of forty-seven hours. An hour has gone already.

Lily had no hope and she knew she might probably watch the time run out till her father would die, and she will be all alone in this world.

She dragged her feet down the street and kept looking around, she found a bar and headed towards it.

She doesn't drink, she had never drank before, all she wanted to do was just sit and watch as people get themselves drunk and laugh away their sorrows.

She walked into the bar and headed to the counter, she saw different men and a few middle-aged women there.

There was a woman behind the counter and she stared at Lily as she walked up to her.

"Good evening ." Lily greeted and the woman smiled at her.

"You need something for those baggy eyes?" The woman teased and Lily shook her head. It was obvious she cried, her eyes were swollen already.

"No, thank you." Lily replied.

"Well, you have got to order something." The woman said and Lily hurriedly checked her bag to see if she had any money left but she didn't.

"Oh. Sorry, I will leave then." She apologised and was about to leave when the woman stopped her.

"Hold on. Just out of curiosity, is something wrong? Why did you cry so bad till your eyes got swollen? What happened?" The woman asked and Lily didn't hesitate to tell her.

She needed to tell someone to get it off her chest, it was just too much for her to bear.

"My... my father is sick and he needs a kidney transplant and I need to get money for his surgery in forty-eight hours and I... " Lily trailed off as tears streamed down her eyes.

"Your father is sick and you need money?" She asked and Lily nodded in tears.

"How much are we talking about here?" She asked.

"Four hundred thousand dollars." Lily replied and the woman groaned.

"I'm sorry dear. I don't have that much." She apologised and Lily gave a sad smile and nodded.

"It's fine. It's a huge amount of money." She replied and turned to leave.

"But." The woman said and Lily paused and turned to her.

"But?"

"I know a way you can get four hundred thousand dollars tonight." She replied and Lily's eyes widened.

"What? Really?" She asked and the woman nodded in response.

"How?" She asked and the woman walked away from the counter and pulled Lily with her to a corner.

"Forgive my manners. My name is Cassie." She introduced.

"Lily." She responded.

"Okay. Back to the job. I don't know if you can do it but with your body and your pretty face, it would be easy."

"Okay?"

"It's a one-night stand. You are going to have a one-night stand with a person, he is going to pay you at least four hundred thousand dollars and my company will get just ten percent of it." She explained and Lily blinked rapidly. She never thought she would lose her virginity this way. At least not to a stranger.

Cassie saw the shocked look on her face and felt like she already made a mistake proposing it to her.

"It's fine if you don't want to... "

"I will do it." She cut her off.

"I will do it. I am ready, I will do it."

"Are you sure?" She asked and Lily nodded.

"Yes, I will do it. Anything for my father." She replied and Cassie smiled.

"Okay. But first, we need to get you cleaned up." Cassie said and brought out a card.

"Be at this address in an hour. I will call someone and the person will take it from there." She explained and Lily smiled.

"Thank you. Thank you so much." She said and the woman nodded with a smile and Lily made her way out of the bar.

She squealed happily as she got out, she ignored the stares she was getting as she squealed.

She was happy that she would save her father but not so happy because of the way she is about to but who cares? It is just for a night.

Just for this night, she will get to save her father and her life will be back to normal again.

After a few minutes close to an hour, Lily arrived at the address. She stared at the huge building in front of her which looked like a club and a hotel.

She took in a deep breath and slowly walked towards it, she got in and met a woman at the entrance.

"Are you Lily?" The woman asked immediately after she saw her.

"Yes."

"Okay, come with me." The woman said and Lily trailed behind her as they walked down a hallway. The woman stopped and turned into a room and Lily also did.

The room was filled with different ladies getting dressed, some were naked, some were half naked and there were also three guys there looking feminine.

"Okay, I need a quick makeover on her. Get her ready in thirty minutes." The woman ordered and walked out. Lily noticed the lady's eyes on her, they were mostly glares and she looked away from them.

The guys in the room walked to her and made her sit on a chair, immediately, they set to work.

After a while, they were done and Lily stared at herself in the mirror.

Her hair was straightened and her baggy eyes were gone. She was also dressed in a short tight gown. They really did a good job in a short time.

The door opened again revealing the woman and she walked to Lily.

"Come on." She ordered and Lilly stood up and followed her. They walked out of the room and headed down another hallway.

As they walked, Lily's heart raced, she had no idea what was waiting for her. They walked into a room and it was a bedroom which looked a little bit fancy.

"Here." The woman said, handing her a blindfold and she raised her brows.

"What is this for?"

"You can't see who the client is. It is for your own good. Our clients are of high rank in the city." The woman replied and Lily nodded.

Not like she had a choice or she could disagree.

She sat on the bed and put on the blindfold and then breathed out heavily.

"Good luck." The woman said and walked out of the room.

Lily felt her knees weak and her hands trembling.

What was coming? Who is the person?

It is just a one-night stand, it can't be that bad!

How bad can it be to have a one-night stand?

"Please, don't kill me." The middle-aged man pleaded as he stared at the ruthless man who pointed a gun at his head.

"You can't break codes and expect to get away with it. And you know, if you are caught the punishment is death." Axel replied and the man shook his head in tears.

"Please, I... " The man trailed off as he pulled the trigger and the bullet pierced his head, he fell dead and blood gushed out of his head.

Axel stared at the blood as it flowed to his feet.

He turned to the guard next to him and threw the gun towards him, he caught it with ease and bowed.

"Clean up this mess." He ordered and walked out of the warehouse.

He got out and headed towards his car, he got in and his phone rang as he ignited the car.

He glanced at the caller and rolled his eyes to see it was his father.

He picked up the call as he drove into the streets.

"Axel."

"I'm listening." He replied rudely,

"Tomorrow is the deadline."

"Deadline? For what?"

"For you to bring a wife. What is wrong with you? Do you want to lose your title in the clan? You will get promoted but first, they need to know how responsible you are."

"I am working on it." He replied as he took a turn.

"No, you are not. You completely forgot about it. Your mother already found you a wife and she... " His father was cut off as he ended the call.

He wasn't ready for the conversation, he found it irrelevant. At the same time, it was important. He likes it or not, he really has to find a wife before tomorrow or he will lose a lot.

He can't afford to lose his title in his clan, he worked so hard to get to where he was. He can't afford to let things get ruined, not now.

He sighed as he pulled over in front of his regular place, he would think about all these in the morning. Right now, he just wants to fuck the life out of someone.

He didn't walk through the entrance as he got out of his car, he passed the VIP entrance at the bank.

Once a week, he visits this place, he has special ladies picked for him and he pays them off. Just not to ruin his status and reputation in the city, he makes sure they are blindfolded.

He got to the door of the room and slowly twisted the knob and walked in. He saw a lady dressed in a gown exposing her thighs and looked amazing on her.

She had a badass shape and he stared at her body. She seemed tense because she kept tapping her feet repeatedly on the floor and playing with her fingers.

He closed the door and slowly walked towards her.

"Hmm... hi." She stuttered and he raised his brow. Other ladies would start to strip immediately after they heard the door open but she said 'hi' to him.

Out of the blue, he got so curious. He wanted to see who it was. He leaned closer to her and held her chin up then took off the blindfold.

He saw a beautiful set of blue eyes and he stared at them, she had tears in her eyes which made them glister.

Surprising to him, she held his gaze and stared back at him. He withdrew his hand and pulled away when he realised he was staring for too long.

"Get up and strip." He ordered since she wasn't doing anything.

"Oh, okay." She replied softly and stood up, he watched her as she slowly pulled down the gown, she was in matching underwear and she wrapped her arms around her breast which Axel found amusing.

Why is she doing that?

He started to get impatient and he walked closer to her, he pulled her to himself and crashed his lips on hers.

She hurriedly pulled away from him and breathed heavily.

"Oh God." He muttered and ran his hands through his hair.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I can't do this." She apologised and cried as she tried to pick up the gown but her tears blurred her vision.

"So they employ people like you now?" Axel asked and she looked up at him, she shook her head and sniffed.

"No. I don't work here. I am just here because I need money urgently. This was a mistake." She replied.

Axel found himself getting more curious about her.

"What's your name?" He asked.

"Lily."

"What do you need money for?"

"My father is sick and I need to raise four hundred thousand dollars in forty-eight hours. I got offered this job but I don't want to do it anymore." Lily replied in tears.

Axel kept staring at her, his face holding no expression. Without giving it a second thought, he blurted out what popped into his head.

"Not like I care or I am moved by your pathetic story but I will help you." He said and her blue eyes widened.

"But in return, you will help me." He added and she furrowed her brows confused.

"Huh?"

"I will give you double what you need if you agree to marry me. You will get into a contract marriage with me for just a year, we will get a divorce after that and you will be free to go. And you will still have to do what you don't want to do tonight." He explained and Lily stared at him.

She would get married to him and still have sex with him tonight? For double of what she needs?

She would have more than enough with the double, she would pay for the surgery and still have more left for herself and her father.

She finally made up her mind and exhaled heavily.

"Okay. I will do it." She replied and used the back of her palm to wipe her tears.

"I am not with the contract now but you will get it in the morning." He said and she nodded in response.

"Do we have a deal?" He asked sternly.

"Ye... yeah, yes. We have a deal." She stuttered in response and he nodded.

"Now, strip Lily."
