Angela Pov

I stuff the remaining clothes left on the bed in my old bag,I look up and wipe the beads of sweat on my forehead,mom came in shortly and she smiled.

"You're done"

"Yeah"I breathed out tiredly.

"You're graduating this week right?"

"Yeah,and we are organizing a party "

"I'm having a weird feeling about this party"

"Weird?"I asked confused.

"Yeah,I don't know maybe it's good or bad"

"Mum,stop stressing yourself over this issue,it's just an ordinary party"I drawled.

She move closer to me and held my hand,she interlock our fingers together and stare at me affectionately.

"Temi nikan soso(my one and only)you know we have no one,I'm just a hopeless widow struggling to make both ends meet,if not for the scholarship awarded to you,you would have drop out long ago,please do not put me to shane please"She begged with tears dripping down her face and I hug her immediately.

"Mama,I promise I won't put you to shane"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes mom I promise"

A little Introduction of myself,my name is Angela Adesuwa,the only child of a poor widow ,we live in the oldest house in the town,we were so poor that we can only afford two square meal a day,but through don't of handwork,my mom mom was able to sponsor me to a technical school, although she's not the one responsible for the fees but she's not the one catering all other needs.

I'm graduating this week and I'll do everything to make my mom enjoy the fruit of her labor.

She enter the room again and gave me 6,000 naira ,I gasp and pull her into a hug immediately, although I asked for 10,000 naira but half of a bread is better than none.

Kike Pov

I sit at the doctor's office waiting for the doctor anxiously.

What's keeping her this long?

She should be here now.

After a while she walk I to the room.

"I'm so sorry Kike,I was busy"

"It's fine doctor"I smiled and she sit down.

"So ,about your mom's health,you are taking too long to pay the money ,her health is failing"She said and I sniffed.

"Uhm,please just help me to treat her ,I promise to pay"

*It's against the policy of the hospital"

"Please what can I do?"

"I told you earlier Kike,just try to pay the money"

"Okay doctor thanks"I said feebly and walk out of the room.

What do I do o lord?

We have not helper,mom is diagnosed of cancer last month and the doctor said I should pay 2 million naira for the surgery or else, she'll die and I don't want her to die.

Dad died last year and things had been so though for us.

I don't really know what to do anymore.

Kelly's Pov

The guards carried my bags out of my room,I and Maya walk hand in hand out if the room giggling.

"Brother please"She whined and I sighed.

"Alright I'll send it to your account tomorrow"

"Wow thanks ,I really appreciate"

My name is Kelly Williams,I came from a family of six as the third child,mom,dad,Maya the last born and my two other other sisters,Eunice and Ruth as the first and second respectively although they are married ,our family has never been a happy one,mom forced my first two sisters into marriage and they have never been happy,she is giving them out because of her selfish interests which makes them detect her so much.

I and mom aren't that close but she's been forcing me on Claire ,the spoilt brat of Senator olawale,she's so spoilt and rude,I can even marry that lady not even in my dreams.

Enough of the Introduction

"I'll miss you brother"She pouted and I ruffle her hair.

"You mess up my hair"She whined and I ruffle it more.

"Stop"

"I'll miss you too little sis"

"Don't forget to send the money"

"I promised you right,I won't forget that"

"Okay bye,safe journey"

She hug me for a while and after some time,we separated, I step into the car and the driver drive off.

Kike Pov

I carried my bag slowly before stepping into the bus.

How am I gonna do it??

How will I be able to foot the bills??

My mom musn't die,she has been there for me all this while and I can't afford to lose her.

The bus finally stop at the school gate and I walk in,lest I forget,I am a final yet in technical school.

I place my bag on the bed and push my hair back tiredly, Everything has been freaking me out lately making me stress out and tired.

Not long after,Angela entered the room carrying heavy bags ,she smiled dropping her bags on the floor before walking up to me.

She hug me and I smile a little.

"What's wrong with you?"She asked worriedly and walk up to me.

"My mom's health is deteriorating,I don't have any money with me"I cried and she hug me.

"Shush....it will be fine okay"She cooed and I sniffed.

"I don to ow what to do anymore,I can't afford to lose her,you know that,she means everything to me"

"You won't lose her trust me,we will do everything to save her life okay"She assured and I nodded.

She left me on the bed to take a shower,I and Angela has been friends since my first day at school and she has been a good friend to me.

My mind wandered as I turned on the bed at intervals thinking about the best solutions to my problems.

Suddenly,my mind drifted to Rodney,Kelly Williams cousin who's a huge flirt, although we aren't friends but we do talk sometimes ,I think he should be able to help.

Yeah, he'll help.

Ruth(Kelly's Sister) Pov

I scream under him as he pound into me earnestly,he punch my fave angrily and I cried.

See what mom caused,see what she pushed me to just because of her selfish Interest,the man he forced me to marry is the one using me as a sex toy for the past three years although I haven't conceived yet,he rapes me every day and beats me at the slightest mistake,he's been drilling me for the past two hours non stop and he's not ready to stop soon.

I moan in pains and he pushed himself into me more.

I got to his room and his friends told me he's not in but I decided to wait for him,I can't leave here without talking to him,he should be able to help me.

His friends were kind enough to give me a chair so that I can sit outside their room ,I sit down there waiting patiently and about thirty minutes later,he drive into the compound,they were kinda rich so their house is quite different from the other student rooms in the school.

He came out smoking cigarette and I held my breath for a while,I hate the smell of cigarette.

He smiled as soon as he set his eye on me and I roll my eyes,I just hate him for no reason.

"You're here"He asked dumbly and I nodded.

"Yeah,I came to see you,I need your help"

"My help,a whole Kike will come to my house to ask for help?"He scoffed and I sighed.

He also knows I hate him so he uses every slightest opportunity to taunt me.

"Please Rodney,I'm not here for that please,I need your help and I want you to help me"

"Wow,so a peacock like you could ask for help?"

"Stop this"I said raising my voice a bit with tears stung in my eyes and he keep quiet immediately.

"Stop playing with my emotions because I need your help,stop that"I said close to tears.

"Okay ,chillax,what did you want?"

"My mom is sick and the doctor said I should pay two million naira and I can't afford it,I've look for help everywhere but no one is ready to help,you're my last option,please help me"I begged and he sighed.

"Wow,you're going through a lot Kike,I'll help you"He said and my eyes dimmed.

What!!!,he's gonna help me??

"Thanks so much Rodney ,I really appreciate"I smiled and he nodded.

"Yeah,it's fine,but you're gonna do something for me"He said licking his lips and I got confused.

"And what's that if I may ask?"

"Chillax,I will tell you that later,but delay is dangerous,when it's ten am tomorrow morning,you should come here to take a cheque of a million naira them we will talk about what I want you to do for me"

"Okay thanks so much Rodney,I really appreciate"
