A Miracle White Lycan

Lycans have been regarded as the perfect creation of the moon goddess for centuries. Lycans have extraordinary gifts that are easily noticeable. Through their extraordinary gifts, they can assert their strength in their world, making them a force to be reckoned with. That is why supernatural creatures both fear and hold them in high regard.

On the other side of the world, in a distant kingdom. A group of people is gathering to see a pup being born. There were people who thought it was the King and Queen. Sadly, if not, Sapphire and Jedidiah are the couples. The head warriors of the Nightingale Pack were soon to have a child.

The couple has been trying to conceive for a long time. It's consistently disappointing every time. They prayed to the moon goddess, asking for a puppy as time went by. Just when it seemed like all hope was lost, the couple was about to give up until the moon goddess finally answered their prayers. Discovering they were going to have a pup filled the couple with excitement, as it meant their dream was becoming a reality.

On a cold and dark night, Sapphire endured a tense and painful labor. The screams throughout the kingdom can be heard with each contraction. Sweat drips down Sapphire's body as she lies in the hospital bed, taking deep breaths. Throughout every moment, Jedidiah remained by her side, never letting go of her hand. Jedidiah offered support and encouragement to Sapphire, witnessing her enduring pain. He was aware that Sapphire, a strong she-wolf, could overcome any challenge, even childbirth. Both of them have a deep desire to create a meaningful life, and they've been waiting patiently for this moment. The moment of embracing parenthood.

With the baby's head in sight, the doctor motivates Mrs. Hollands to push one more time.

"Did you hear that, my love? We need you to put in one last push. "We finally get to meet our baby," Jedidiah exclaims, wiping her forehead. With a determined nod, Sapphire pushed with all her might and let out a howl within seconds. A loud cry was heard. Their hearts were filled with happiness upon learning about their new pup.

Handing the baby to the nurse, the doctor proclaims, "Congratulations, it's a girl. The couple was approached by the nurse, who had the baby in her arms, a few minutes later. With care, she places the baby into Sapphire's arms. Sapphire and Jedidiah shed tears of happiness.

She looks stunning. "Love, I'm proud of you," Jedidiah says to Sapphire.

"I'm thankful for the moon goddess's blessing, gracing us with our beloved daughter."

"Love, I can already sense she's going to be a heartbreaker."

"Jedidiah, do you want to hold your daughter?"

"Indeed, my dear."

Jedidiah had the baby placed in his arms by Sapphire. Jedidiah snuggle close to the baby. The smile on her face grew as she observed the bond that was forming between her mate and their daughter.

"Excuse me," the nurse interrupted, catching the attention of the couples with her clipboard and pen.

"Did you pick a name for the baby?"

"Any ideas for her name?" Jedidiah wonders.

Sapphire states, "Mileena Norie Holland."

"Love, that's such a beautiful name," Jedidiah remarked.

With a nod and a smile, the nurse wrote down the baby's name. When she completed her task, she raised her gaze towards the couple. Afterward, her eyes fell upon the baby, and she uttered, "Welcome to the world, Mileena."

Narrator POV:

Today was no different from any other day. The sun was shining as the adults trained, and the pups played together. Among the other pups stood a 5-year-old Mileena, who had transformed into a stunning young girl with fair skin and black hair. Her parents worship the blessing and express gratitude to the moon goddess daily. Her parents adore her and consider her their greatest treasure.

Every opportunity they had, Sapphire and Jedidiah expressed nothing but unconditional love for Mileena. Known for her popularity, Mileena had a wide circle of friends and was regarded as sweet and kind by others. People are naturally drawn to Mileena's presence because she gives off a unique warm sensation, unlike most other pups. No one can put the feeling into words.

While playing hide and seek, Mileena decided to hide in the forest. Surrounded by brushes, she stumbled upon a colossal tree. Without any thought, she took off running. Without delay, she scuttled and took cover beneath. She believed this would be the perfect hiding spot. She concealed her curiosity about whether the game was still ongoing for what felt like an eternity.

Mileena came out from the brush. As soon as she ventured out, she promptly retraced her steps towards the pack house. She let out a scream and collapsed after feeling a sharp pain in her abdomen. On the ground, Mileena had curled up into a ball. She could not help but scream again when the second pain struck. You could hear footsteps approaching this time. A crowd of children and adults gathered around Mileena. Mileena's parents were the last to show up, but as soon as they saw her on the ground, they ran to her immediately.

Panicked, her mother yelled for someone to call the doctor. Within seconds, the pack doctor arrived and examined Mileena. He couldn't believe his eyes at what he had discovered, and no one was prepared for what he was about to say.

"She is shifting"

Whispers filled the background, shocking everyone, including her parents. No one in their pack had ever shifted at such a young age before. Shifting ages usually fall within the range of 10 to 12.

"She is only five years old. Is it possible for her to be shifting so early?" Sapphire asks.

"Although I do not know warrior Holland, it's definitely occurring. Moving her is not possible at this stage of the process. Our only option is to be patient, and as her parents, you'll need to support her." The doctor plans to inform the King and Queen about this.

Both of the Hollands nodded while standing next to Mileena, listening to the sound of bones cracking and her screams. Mileena's parents were hurt because they wanted to relieve her pain. They passionately believe the moon goddess had a purpose for doing this. What will be the nature of the question?

Three hours had passed; the shifting was ending with it completed one last bone crack it. As the Hollands rose from the ground, they gazed at their daughter. Their eyes were filled with disbelief as they gazed at a beautiful white wolf with piercing blue eyes. The wolf glanced at her parents and let out a small bark. That interrupted her parents' train of thought. Kneeling, Sapphire caresses the top of her pup's head, tears welling up in her eyes. She then turns to Jedidiah and smiles warmly. "Come take a look at our adorable pup."

Jedidiah knelt beside Sapphire and nodded. The sight of Mileena made him tear up. One of the most joyous days of their lives has arrived. The moment was interrupted when the King and Queen arrive. With just one glance, they were captivated by the white wolf. The crowd, unable to speak, begins to whisper once more. Never before in history has there been a white Lycan, especially not in the Nightingale pack. Mileena's status as the first white Lycan will be legendary.

Once Sapphire picks up her pup Mileena, she and Jedidiah head back to The King and Queen and join the crowd. The two majestic figures stood together, their attention focused on the white wolf, when a voice from the crowd interrupted them with the word "abomination."

Growls escaped from Sapphire and Jedidiah.

"Who dares to label my child as an abomination? Jedidiah demands, "Show yourself!"

One of the male warriors stepped forward. He kept his distance from the Hollands, gazing at the pup, and declared, "That pup is abomination; if we keep it, we are doomed."

"What proof do you possess to support your assertion about my child being an abomination? Sapphire retorted abruptly.

Throughout the centuries, I have never heard of a white Lycan, which suggests it is a cursed omen.-"

"You are talking about something you have no knowledge of. How the hell did you figure out that this is a curse? Shut the fuck up," Sapphire shouts, you don't know anything."

The crowd starts to make a commotion due to the situation. While some agreed with the warrior, others sided with Sapphire. Things were spiraling out of control.

"SILENCE!" The King's voice echoes through the room.

To show submission, everyone follows and bares their neck. "We will not be discussing this matter at this time. It's been a long, tiring day; we will discuss this another time. Sapphire and Jedidiah, it's been a tiring day for both of you, especially for Mileena. You are free to leave"

They nodded at each other as they walked past the crowd, then proceeded further. Turning her head towards a few pack members, Sapphire asserts, "Our daughter is not an abomination. "She's a wolf of miracles," she declares before departing, leaving everyone lost in contemplation.

Mileena POV:

"Hey everyone, anyone up for hanging out?" I asks.

" We don't want to be caught dead hanging with you, you are an abomination" a girl with blond hair says.

"Mandy, we all agree that we don't want you near us. It would be best if you stayed away before things get worse," said the girl, with her friend laughing beside her.

Exiting the school, I begin my journey by walking home. While walking, I began reflecting on my messy life. The experience of becoming a white wolf has led to me being treated terribly, with people giving me hostile looks and actively discouraging their children from associating with me. When I go to school, entering a classroom result in everyone becoming silent, making things worse. I walk with my head down, going straight to my desk. I purposely avoid making eye contact because I sense their animosity towards me.

I went through a phase where I would cry myself to sleep every night, pondering why they treated me the way they did. When I'm around my parents, I tend to keep my emotions hidden. My intention was never for them to witness me in this state. If they found out what I'm going through, it would hurt them. My intention was to steer clear of causing more conflicts in the pack.

Both my parents are revered as the top warriors in our pack, earning the respect of all, and I can't bear the thought of damaging their reputation because of me. After reaching my house, I unlock the front door and proceed inside. Closing the door, I make my way into the living room. Not seeing my parents, I went to the kitchen and discovered a note on the table that I read.

Hey Mileena,

I wanted to inform you that your father and I had to join another pack to train their fighters. We'll be away for a few days. We left you money, remember to lock up before you go. We'll be back at home shortly.

With love from Mom,

I put the letter back on the table, then went to the refrigerator to get lunchmeat and cheese. I made myself a sandwich. After finishing my sandwich, I decided to go for a run since I don't have any friends. My only friend, Xyla my wolf, is someone I confide in and who truly understands me. We share a strong bond, which allows her to feel the same pain as me.

Leaving the house, I remembered to lock the door. Without wasting any time, I successfully reached the forest. I scan my surroundings for any onlookers, then disrobe and hide my clothing behind a tree. I quickly morphed into a white wolf and began running swiftly.

Xyla and I had a great time running together for hours, enjoying each other's company and communicating. Running has the power to clear our minds, bring us peace, and create an environment where we can be true to ourselves. While we continued running, we spotted a lake up ahead. I went there in order to grab a drink. Once I reached my limit, I relaxed and savored the scenery. Moments like this made me yearn to be a normal wolf instead of a cursed one.

"Mileena, never believe that you are cursed," Xyla reassures.

"Why are we referred to as abominations if we're not cursed?"

"Their fear stems from lack of understanding. We were made by the moon goddess in her own image. It's time to embrace it with courage and determination."

"Xyla, do you believe acceptance will ever come our way?"

"I have faith that one day, people will come to appreciate us. All we need is faith in the moon goddess and her desires. For our survival, Mileena, we need to be strong."

"Rest assured, I will do everything in my power to not let you or our parents down."

"That a girl" Xyla going back into my mind, I raise up and started back running to my house.
