A Heir for the Cold-hearted Master

OCTAVIA POV

I enlightened from the car staring at the city.

"wow" I couldn't help but feel so amazed. New Zealand is definitely a beautiful city.

I can't wait to have all the fun I thought of having before coming here.

I place my bag full of clothes on my head.

Where will I go??

I have never been to the city.

And I didn't tell the sisters I was coming here. I mean the Rev sister taking care of me in the orphanage home.

They never allowed me leave the town to pay a visit to the city. To them the city is a bad place

I will have lots of fun here and prove them wrong . I saw lots of huge buildings.They were so beautiful

I turned around.

"this is heaven " I screamed flying my two hands as I turned around . I felt dizzy and then I stopped. I guessed turning around wasnt that good

I smile still staring at everything.

I will never go to that orphanage again. This is heaven

I heard a sound. I didn't know what to do

"move away. Don't you know you are on the way" someone yelled

I scoffed staring around. I slowly walked out of the road heading to God's knows where

First she will look for a job

She thought

Yeah that's what she was going to do

She continued walking with her bag on her head and then she saw the notice board

Someone to look after pigeon

It sounds easy to her. Maybe she should tried it first

But just then she saw a little girl running across the road and a moving car was fast approaching

She dropped her bag and run to the road pushing the girl out

She breathe in heavily as she fall to the floor with the little girl on her

MABEL POV

I hit my back painfully at the chair in the car

What the nerves

"ouch" I groaned as the car stopped

"are you crazy " I yelled at the driver

"MA is not me. I'm trying to dodge the girl that entered the road" he said trembling

Of course he has every right

No one touches my feet not alone make me groaned

"stop the car and come open the door for me" I thundered

He rushed down and opened the door for me

I walked down from the limousine as my two bodyguards also walked down

"I will kill the human that made Mabel. Nicholas first wife groaned" I cursed under my breath

I saw a girl trying to get up

So she's the moron that almost cursed an accident for me

She stood up and we met face to face

I felt the urge to throw up because she looks so dirty

I can't even lay my hand to slap here face

"guards" I called

They came in front of me bowing

"take her to the other car" I ordered and taking one glance at her I walk back to the car

She will pay for crossing my path

Taking one glance at her I walk back to the limousine

OCTAVIA

"where are you taking me to " I yelled at the men pulling me

"let go of me " I cried

They paid deaf ears as one of them carried me on his shoulders

I kept hiding his back

He finally dropped me but on a car

And before I knew it they drove out

I stared at the inside of the car. It looks beautiful but I was so scared

Where were they taking me to

He pulled me out of the car and carried me again

"I'm not a baby drop me!!" I yelled

"I said drop me bitch!! " I yelled hitting his back

I gasped

I shouldnt have use the word bitch. If I was still in the orphanage home the Rev sisters would have scold me

"drop me " I yelled and then he did but on a bed

"what should we do to her now" one of them said

"she has given orders. Let's wait for her orders before doing anything but for now let's keep her here" they replied and with that walked out

So great!!

First it was an accident

And now I have been locked in this room. I examined the room it was beautiful tho

I moved to the door and twisted the knob it made way

I felt happy

I can live

I walked out quickly from the room and met a staircase

I gasped

This was wow!!

So damn beautiful. I climbed up the stairs

"does a human lived here " I thought

A door was slightly opened and I popped my head into it

I almost screamed out seeing the room

I thought I have see it all but this room was far from beautiful

And before I knew it I entered touching the transparent wall

Everything was just prefect

I could her the sound of something like a running water

I touched the vase

The sound stopped and then the door opened

I turned and saw him

My eyes widened as I looked at him. His hair was wet and water was dripping down his face to his chest

I touched my heart and I felt my feet too weakbMy heart was beating faster too. I couldn't hold on and before I knew it I fainted

OCTAVIA

I thought I fainted but the hands on my hair caressing it brought me back

I slowly opened my eyes and met his handsome face again

His eyes are green. His plump pink lip

He visited cheekbones. I have never seen such an wonderful made creature. He leaned towards me too and I flinched holding tightly to the bed sheet

The expression on his face was mixed. I mean angry, surprise and....... I just couldn't read it

The sound from the door made me jump up. The door opened revealing a girl with a tray of food

"Here is your food Master" She went on her knees and bow

"it's that how it's done here" she thought to herself

It's weird to her

"drop and leave " he said with a straight face

I watched her quickly dropped it and in a second she was out

I saw him still staring at me and my feet wobble

I gulped down nervously

"look here I'm sorry for entering your room. It won't happen again " i finally spoke regaining my sanity

I bit my lower lip and ran out of the room

I ran and finally stopped. I looked around this big Mansion and wondered how to get out

Why on earth did I get myself in trouble

Just the first day in the city I have been kidnapped.

Is that how the city is??

Is that why the Rev sister forbidden me talking about the city

Are the people leaving here cruel??

I thought as I kept walking to God's knows where . A hand pulled me making me hit my back on the wall

I gasped and walked up to see a girl. It was the girl who entered the room with food

"who are you " she asked staring at me

I breathe out knowing it wasn't the guards who brought me here

"I'm Octavia. Someone kidnapped me here. Please can you help me get out" I said hopping she will

"who took you here" she asked

"I don't know her name but she's a woman " I said and she sighed

"I guessed its ma'am Mabel. Because she's the wicked among Master wife. Did you get on her bad side " she asked and I shook my head knowing I didn't offend her in any way

"you might have offended her in one way unknowingly. Baby girl you are doomed. There's no way getting out of here " she said and I burst out laughing

"This is funny. What do you mean that I'm doomed" I asked

"it's sounds funny right but you will understand soon" she said

I raised my eyebrows

"but how did you get into the master room. I'm sorry for this much questions. I'm kinda curious you know " she asked and I heaved

"I saw the door opened and beep in to take a view. And then he caught me " I said and her eyes widened

"This is not true" she said touching my body

"and he left you leave alive. This is unbelievable " she muttered

"you might be lucky on this one. Stay away from master he's tough and dangerous. I like you and that's why I'm telling you" she said

Now everyone in this mansion is weird

"I'm Quinn " she said and gave me a smile which I returned

"oh my God. Ma'am Mabel is walking towards us" Quinn said and I looked up to see the woman who kidnapped me

I smile. Maybe I can beg her to release me

Quinn immediately bow seeing her and I wondered what's up with all this bow

"Thank God you are here ma'am. Please I'm sorry if I offended you without knowing. I'm new in the city and I don't know how things is done here. Please let me go" I begged

She smirked and walked round me

"it's a pity but I don't let my prey go. You are my personal maid now. It's best you behave and don't get on my bad side. I can kill with the snapped of my fingers. I wouldn't be nice next time " she uttered

"you take her to the maid chamber and get her some maids wears. She's mine" she smirked pointing at Quinn

"OK ma'am Mabel. Let's go Octavia " she said taking Octavia hands who followed her reluctantly

Nicholas

I just couldn't concentrate on the work I was doing from home

Who was she?

Why did she make me weak

This is the first time something strange is happening

She looks young, innocent, cute and well endeavour

She has this crazy shape which fitted her little body

"what were you engrossed in that you didn't know when I came in" I heard that familiar voice making me smirked

It was Louis

My best friend

"nothing much " I said getting up and putting my hands in my pant pocket

"don't tell me you where thinking about about what the elders said " he asked further covering the space between us

"not really but it's should be something to worry about. I can't leave my position to my cousin. Louis I need a heir" he said and sighed

"Everything will be fine Nick. This heir stuff is making you more heartless and cruel toward people. I heard you killed a woman yesterday. That's bad Nick" he muttered and I shut my eyes

I can't help it

Killing people is more fun. Everyone is scared of me and that's what I want

"if Nathan takes my position then father wins. I will loose everything. Everything I work hard for" I muttered

"you will have a heir common chill" Louis said tapping his shoulders

The door opened and Mabel walked in

"the bitch is here" Louis said taking a sit and pouring himself some vodka

Mabel glared at him and then to Nicholas

"cant you knock " Nicholas said putting on a cold face

"I'm you wife. I don't need to knock before coming into your basement " she said and walked towards him

"darling " she said and hugged him

Louis scoffed and took a sub from his drink

"stop being clingy and give me a heir" Nicholas pushed her off him and angrily walked out

Louis couldn't help but laugh out

"what's funny " Mabel asked biting her lip in anger

"can't you read the handwriting in the wall. Its best you leave Nick so he can find the one destined for him. Be like Maya and stay on your lane" Louis advice

"you bastard. I'm gonna kill you one day " she blurted out

"it's a pity am not one of your prey. Leave Nick alone if you can't give him a heir. You are just making him more cruel" Louis said before walking out

"Nicholas is mine and mine alone " she said and smirked before walking out

OCTAVIA Pov

"wow Octavia this uniform looks cute on you " Quinn said but I shook my head.

"do you think so?? " I asked staring at the short uniform.

I'm kinda feeling awkward.

I mean I haven't wear something short like this before.

"I don't think. I'm sure of it. Your shapes are well out and it's killing. A nineteen girl with this shape.its crazy " Quin said pointing out her mouth

"your teasing isn't helping " I said and sighed.

It's short and I can't wear it. Sis Benedict has always told us not to expose our body

And made us understand that our body is a temple of the lord

"I can't wear it" I finally blurted out

Quin sighed and dropped her face

"this is the only uniform left and purchase will be made by tomorrow. OK fine just wear it today and then you can change when the new uniforms arrived " she said and I reluctantly nodded

I mean do I have a choice

"so tell me Oct..... Oh. What's that your name again " she asked and I chuckled

"if you think you can't call me Octavia then just call me Brielle it's my name also" I said and she smile

"Brielle will do. So tell me, where do you stay before coming to the city" she asked and I rubbed my temple

"I stay at the orphanage home back in a little town "I said and her eyes widened

"only children without parents lived in the orphanage home. Don't tell me you are part of them? " she asked and I nodded

"Bad. What happened to your parents " she asked and I shrugged

"I don't know. I growed in the orphanage home right when I was still a baby.And when ever I asked sister Benedict she said its really not yet time for me to know But there's this woman who always come checking on me. She rich with the way she dressed but so cold towards me. Just hate my sight. I wondered how her reaction will be like when she found out I ran away" I said

"you ran away?? " she asked shocked and I nodded

"The orphanage home seems like cave to me and I wanted to experience how it is. You know some of our friends were adopted but they never fails to visit and each time they do. They always talk about the city" I said remembering Andy

He was my best friend back in the orphanage home but he was adopted. He never fails to visit me and I kinda feel bad for running away without his concept

"don't worry you have me now. I will tell you all you need to know so as not to get on Mabel bad side and also to avoid Master especially " she said and I nodded

My stomach made some crazy sounds and then it drawn on me that I haven't eaten

"that's silly. Let's go get you some food" she said

I stared at of my window and from there I could see what happens outside my mansion

This isn't me. I don't wanna turn out to be like father

I want my own heir but it's like I'm been cursed

I mean two good wives yet none can give me a heir

The doctor kept saying they aren't barren and I'm not impotent.

Then why can't I have a heir. If Nathan takes the position my mum will suffer and then dads wins

"The doctor said I'm fine" I thought assuring myself

I'm surely gonna have a heir at the right time

Mabel walked into Maya room and found the maids dressing her up probably for her model show

"witch! Have you suddenly lack some home training. Why will you banged into my room" Maya snapped out

"learn some respect Maya. I'm still the senior wife here" Mabel blurted out

"what are you doing here" she asked rather

"trust me I don't wanna be here too " Mabel said

"I just wanted to know how your modelling stuff is going " she said and then smirked

"and when did you suddenly gets interested in my modelling " Maya yelled

"keep your voice down. I'm only here to know when you are leaving my husband house" she said and Maya scoffed

"He's my husband too young lady"she backed out

"Maya I know you don't want him. Just focused on your modelling and leave" Mabel said

Maya stood up holding her long gown

"You are wrong Mabel. I love Nicholas and I will do anything to remain he's favorite but that doesn't mean I would have to be clingy like you" she said and walked to the door and stopped

"one more thing mabel learn to respect someone's privacy ." Maya said and walked out with her maid

Octavia entered Mabel room bringing in the tea she asked for

It's already a day and she's getting used to everything

Mabel stood up angrily

"how long will it take you to prepare a common tea" Mabel spat out

Octavia quickly went on her knees with her face dropped

"I'm sorry ma'am it won't repeat itself against " she muttered

Mabel smirked collecting the cup of tea from her and gently poured it on her hair

Geez!

Octavia screamed out. It was hot. So fucking hot

"I hate lazy maids" she backed at the crying Octavia

She wasn't satisfied. She still wanted to punish her

She grinned and went to her closet and picked up a whip

"when you behave like a goat then you will be treated as such" Mabel thought walking back to Octavia who was still on her knees

She lifted the whip and before Octavia could know what was going on. She used it on her

"ouch!!! " she screamed falling to the ground

Mabel didn't stop a bit. She kept using the whip on her until she was satisfied and let go

She snapped her feet on the floor. She groaned and walked out

Octavia couldn't get up. She stared at the same spot crying

Her skin hurt. It's like her whole body was burning up

The door opened again but this time it was Quinn

She rushed towards Octavia and touched her body making her jerk up

"it's just me Brielle " Quin said stroking her hair making her relaxed a bit

"Mabel what..... "The door banged opened and Quin looked up and gasped

Nicholas came in angrily but with who he saw on the floor made him weak
