The only sound that is hearable is the sound of heels touching the floor

A man got distracted and looked at the door right after hearing the knock

"oh daughter what a pleasant surprise, "that man said while placing the book in his right hand on the table

"Asalam o Alaikum Mr. Babar " a soft melodious voice makes that man who seems to be in his late 70s, smile before saying

"Wa-Alaikum-Salaam have a seat," he said when noticed that she was still standing

"Hope I didn't disturb you, Mr. Babar "

" no you didn't," he declared

"Mr.Babar here take this," she said while giving him an envelope

"reports?" he asked in a low tone

That girl was wearing a plain black high-necked shirt and jeans covered with a brown single-breasted trench and her hair was tied into a high ponytail

She smiled before holding his frail hands gently into hers

"Don't worry " she said while maintaining her calm voice

His lips curved into a smile before saying

"I'm not but just that regret makes me die every day"

"I know but we can't change our fate," she stated

He just nodded with a sad expression

"by the way when are you leaving ?" he asked

"huh? Oh yeah tomorrow morning " She was confused at first but then she understood what he was talking about

"Have you packed your stuff ?" he asked with concern

"kind of but there are still few things left," she said

"oh" escaped from his mouth

"wanna send anything to them ?" she asked as she knew that he was struggling to say something

A spark appeared in his eyes

He stood up with the help of a stick held by his frail shaking hand

Her eyes became blurry with tears

But she managed to control

He took out the envelope from the shelf smile appeared on his lips

"here take this," he said while giving that envelope to her

She took it with a warm smile

" do you have an idea where they live "

"don't know," he said in a sad tone

"do you remember the address where you used to live with them?"

He sighed before saying "I do but I forgot the street number, but don't worry I've it in written form"

"that's great " that girl smiled

"I'll send you tomorrow as my assistant has it "

She nodded

"I should probably leave now buddy "

He smiled before petting her head

"I'm gonna miss you "

"likewise "

With every drop of rain that falls, pink glossy lips curve into a smile, and the bulbous nose inhales the fresh air and exhales carbon dioxide which eventually helps plants, a pair of hazel eyes were looking around to see someone but there is no hope in the heart she put her head down and checked her phone

From her expression, surely, she was irritated

"ugh still one hour left " a loud voice took the attention of the crowd and she lowered her head as she got embarrassed by her sudden shout. everyone got back to their work and she decided to place her luggage in a corner after placing it she started walking in another direction and finally her lips curved back into a smile when she spotted a coffee shop

"I need it so badly, right now," she said to herself and rushed to the store after paying for her coffee she muttered a "thank you " to the cashier and turned but accidentally split her coffee on someone

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to," she said and was about to continue but a deep male voice interrupted her

"I know, it's completely fine "

She looked up and her eyes met with a pair of oceanic blue eyes she was so lost in the eyes until she heard

"Ma'am, is this your luggage ?"

She realized and looked at the other person who just arrived a second ago and nodded but when she turned back in his direction he was no longer standing there which kind of saddened her

"your phone is ringing continuously, "the person said before leaving

"at least some coffee is left," she said while shaking the cup to know if it was filled or not

She walked towards her luggage and took out the cell phone from her handbag

She looked at the screen

"3 missed calls from Jana "she whispered to herself and dialed that number again she was startled when someone all of sudden hugged her from back

"HEY"

She recognized the voice and turned to see the person

A huge smile appeared on her lips

"Thank God you found me I was bored of waiting for you," she said

A black car stopped in front of a huge glass building. Guards came out of the back and opened the door of the black Prado.

A pair of black monk shoes collapsed on the floor but before the person could get out, a man who was standing at the door of the building opened the umbrella and placed it at the top of the car door to protect him from the rain

"Welcome sir " that guard greeted him with a soft calm tone

He smiled in response

"It's been a long time," he said as he entered the building crowed by employees

"yeah sir it has been, " a man standing behind him spoke

"oh son welcome," a middle-aged man said while walking toward him with a proud smile on his face

"Asalam o Alaikum Baba"

(baba means father )

Two big hazel sleepy eyes were looking at the sky which was covered with clouds. Her eyes then slowly went down to see huge mountains covered with sand.

A smile appeared on her beautiful pink lips covered with lip gloss she closed her eyes and let her hand feel the cold breeze

"ma'am you will catch a cold " an old man spoke with a polite tone

"no Chacha(uncle) I will not "Her deep soft sweet melodic voice took that men's attention who was driving

"Sir will scold me if you will catch a cold"

She giggled when she heard that

Her hair was flying due to the cold breeze

"Okay chacha," she said politely before pressing the button to close the window.

"Are you fine ?" a female voice made her look to the right side and she forced a smile

"yes "

That girl inhaled a deep breath and exhaled it right before placing her hand on the top of hers which was resting on her black handbag

"I know you're nervous but you should be happy finally we are back "

She looked at her with her hazel eyes and smiled

"I know and I'm happy but _"

She cuts her off by saying

"no buts just concentrate on the good moments and enjoy the view "

She nodded and started to look out through the window

"it's beautiful "

"yes indeed Balochistan is beautiful " the girl with black eyes added

" I wonder if everything will be like before "

She was lost in her thoughts until the car stopped in front of the bungalow

Both of them got out of the car

She was blankly looking at the bungalow

She was startled when she felt hands being interviewed with another hand

"don't worry, I know we will gonna enjoy it, " her sister said in a calm tone while rubbing her thumb against her skin to reduce her anxiety.

She softly smiled before nodding while the driver was taking out their luggage

" Jana I can't," she said with a blank face

Her sister wrapped her hand around her shoulder before saying

"you can and you will "

She took a deep breath while her sister rang the bell

And everything changed when a middle-aged woman opened the door

"my children what a grateful day it is! "

"Assalam o Alaikum phupo (aunt), " they both said together while their aunt hugged both of them

"come inside kids," their aunt said while welcoming them with the most beautiful smile.

They headed inside and saw a lady cleaning the house she greeted them and they smiled at her while there was someone who was waiting to scare them

"BOOO"

Both of them were startled by the sudden voice.

They heard a familiar laughing voice

"my sisters welcome back " They saw a tall guy with hazel eyes smiling at them

"Behra (brother ) you gave me a mini heart attack," she said

"hehe just a try but seems like I failed, "he said

"Unfortunately yes," a girl with black eyes said in agreement while the hazel-eyed girl glared at her

"anyways kids get fresh first," their aunt said with a sweet voice

"phupo (aunt ) where is Baba (father )" she finally asked what she had been holding inside her head for so long

"oh He went to the village," her aunt said with a smile

She faked a smile

"You both should get fresh first so that we can have lunch together "

They nodded and started walking toward the stairs

When she went inside the room she started scanning the room.

"what are you looking at ?" her sister spoke out of Blue Moon

"Nothing," she said while opening her luggage

Her sister placed a hand on her shoulder

She stopped her hands which were unzipping the suitcase.

"I know you're sad because Baba should be the one to welcome us "

Her eyes filled with tears but she managed to hide them with her smile

"no, it's not like this anyways I should get fresh "

She said while evading eye contact with her sister and headed to the bathroom

Her sister sighed as deep down she knew that she was sad

She lay down on the bed and started scanning her phone

"Phupo(Aunt) we missed the food cooked by you," said the girl with black eyes while taking the very first bite of the biryani

"yes phupo we did," said the girl with hazel eyes

Their Phupo(aunt) smiled at them

"Jana you both visited Pakistan almost 7 years ago right ?" asked their cousin brother

"yep," the girl with black eyes said while nodding her head slightly.

"kids we will leave for the village tomorrow morning so if you have any shopping to do then go after resting for a while, "their aunt said while serving

"we will aunt, by the way, why aren't you eating ?" she asked

Their aunt smiled before saying

"I don't have an appetite "

"but why? come please let's eat together "

"Okay okay," she said while sitting beside her

After having lunch together while laughing and talking about how much they missed each other.

"Brother are you free?" the girl with black eyes asked

The tall man with hazel eyes, his sharp jawline covered with a black beard his hair was a bit messy which gave him a rugged charm

"yep, You want to go somewhere?" he asked

She nodded

"I want to buy a few things can you take us to the market "

He smiled while nodding

"Okay then get ready "

She smiled before going to her room

Her sister looked at her disappearing figure

"aren't you joining ?" he asked to the hazel-eyed girl

"I am," she said

He smiled at her

" I missed you both so much "

"We did as well," she said with puppy eyes.

"How is Aunt?" he asked

She sighed before saying

"she's good "

"glad to know that "

She softly smiled

"Najwa is something disturbing you ?" he asked the hazel-eyed girl

"no," she said while growing her smile

"no matter how much you grew your smile would be fabricated if you're not smiling for real "

She sighed and he continued

"I may not be your biological brother but you both are more like my biological sisters "

She smiled but for real this time

"of course Behra(Brother ) we know that's why we are here to attend your wedding "

He smiled

"I am glad that you both came I wish Aunt could join as well," he said

"I asked her but I can't force her son "They both looked back and saw her aunt speaking while entering the living room

"It's all because of my brother," her aunt said in disappointment

"come on aunt it wasn't anyone's fault it's fate," Najwa said with a smile on her face

Her aunt looked at her showing her affection

"your mother raised you both so well," her aunt said while petting her head

She hugged her

"you guys are so cruel " they heard another familiar voice from the door of the room

"Aunt am I not your niece ?" the girl with black eyes continued walking towards them while pouting

Their aunt hugged her as well

"you're my doll, Jana "

She smiled while hugging her

"Guys come on, we are getting late," their brother added

"alright alright let's go," the girl with hazel eyes said

"Mom aren't you joining ?" he asked his mother.

"no kids you go I've some chores to do "

"come on aunt join us we both will gonna help you with the chores "

She tries to refuse but of course, no one can resist them so she ends up joining them

Their brother parked the car on the side of the parking then they started walking toward the market

A bustling hub of vibrant colors.Many Stores of dry fruits and cultural dresses while there were little stores of handicrafts. The streets of the market were crowded with people and vehicles. People of different cultures were intermixed by the beauty of Quetta. They were roaming on the streets of the Market. Many beautiful shawls were hung outside the stores to let people recognize their beauty.

"sista there are so many fancy dresses I wonder how could they wear heavy dresses "

The girl with hazel eyes laughed before saying

"Jana don't forget you're one of the fashion designers who design heavy dresses as well "

Their aunt and brother laughed.

They started walking and the cold breeze was touching them

"Aunt look at this"

The girl with hazel eyes said while pointing at the Navy blue dress of velvet

With silver embroidery on it making it more stunning

"you wanna buy this ?" her aunt asked

"not yet"

"Why ?" her aunt asked

Before she could answer another lady bought it already

She just felt awkward but she managed to smile

They stayed in the market for almost 2 hours she started feeling tired

"phupo I'm waiting outside the shop," she said

"Are you okay?" her aunt asked with concern

"yes I am just wanna get some fresh air," she said

"Okay then Zarain go with her, " her phupo(aunt) said

"no let him stay here I'll be fine "

"no no I'm coming," he said

"Behra I can stand alone you stay here with phup and Jana "

He ended up agreeing

She went outside and stood there while holding a few shopping bags in her hands she looked around and smiled as she recalled her childhood

"indeed Quetta is one the most beautiful cities," she said to herself with a smile but then she rested her back on the black car

She was relaxing until she realized that it was late and she should call them

But unfortunately, she left her phone at her Aunt's House so she decided to go inside the market

She started to walk counting her shopping bags if by any chance she lost one

That's when she bumped into someone.
