It's a beautiful morning in Lagos State, Nigeria. Olufunke woke up with a bright smile on her face. She's never been this happy all her life. She couldn't wait a day longer to go to Korea, where she'll study medicine.
Olufunke has always dreamt of visiting Korea, even if it's just once. Ever since she's been a kdrama and kpop fan, she's always wanted to go there, and perhaps, get married to an extremely handsome Korean guy.
She has already packed her bags a day before, because she can't afford to miss the flight.
She was done dressing up, and the door to her room opened, then her mum stepped in.
"Good morning Mum." Funke greeted while kneeling down.
Mrs Thomas pulled her up, and smiled at her.
"How was your night??" Mrs Thomas asked, and Funke grinned.
"Daebak! (Awesome!) Jinjja daebak! (Really Awesome)."
"Come downstairs, and have your breakfast, darling. Your flight is taking off in an hour time. You have to be there on time." Mrs Thomas, her mum said, and she smiled broadly.
"I really can't wait to get there Mum." She squealed dreamily, and Mrs Thomas smiled.
"Just don't forget where you come from. Don't get carried away by those creatures." Mrs Thomas said, and Funke nodded.
"Trust your daughter." She said.
"I trust you." Mrs Thomas said.
"Is she not awake yet??" Mr Thomas asked from downstairs.
"Oh! She's awake. I'm bringing her now." Mrs Thomas said and they both headed downstairs.
"What took you so long??" Mr Thomas asked, and Funke hugged him in smile.
"Good morning Dad." She said.
"Hope you had a good night rest my dear??" Mr Thomas asked.
"Sure Dad." Funke replied, and they settled down to eat.
"Alright. Let's eat." Mr Thomas said, and they all grabbed the cutleries.
"Thanks for the food. May God bless this food." Funke said.
"Amen." Mr Thomas and Mrs Thomas said together before they start eating.
Minutes later, they finished eating and the maid packed the dishes to the kitchen to wash.
"Get your luggages and let's go, else you'll be late and you'll miss your flight." Mr Thomas said, and Funke furrowed her brows.
"Are you cursing me now or what??" She asked, and her dad smiled.
"I'm just saying." Mr Thomas said, and Funke rolled her eyes before going upstairs to get her luggages.
She came downstairs fully prepared, and her parents were already waiting for her in the car.
"Aunt Funke, I'll miss you so much." Timilehin, the maid said as she pouted, and Funke smiled while pulling her closer.
"I'll miss you too dear. Just take care of yourself and my parents, okay??" Funke said, and Timi pulled her into a hug.
For like three minutes, Timi didn't want to let go of her, but she eventually did.
"Bye." She said with teary eyes and rushed into the kitchen.
Funke heaved a heavy sigh before heading out of the house with her luggages.
"What took you so long??" Mr Thomas asked as she joined them in the car.
"Timi didn't want me to go. She must be crying by now." Funke replied, and Mrs Thomas smiled.
"I don't know how that girl grew so fond of you." She said, and her husband started driving out of the house.

~LAGOS STATE AIRPORT~
The moment they got to the airport, the plane was almost taking off.
"Passenger 4021 is not on plane yet. If you're in anywhere closer, kindly come forward now before the plane take off." The pilot said into the mic, and Funke quickly rushed towards the plane without taking her luggages.
"I'm sorry I came late." She said, and they checked her body before letting her in.
"Please check her luggages. She forgot it." Mr Thomas said and Funke peeped out through the window.
"Oh! My bags! I forgot it! Thanks Dad." She said, and Mr Thomas smiled at her.
"Don't forget to get in touch with us when you get there." Mrs Thomas said, and Funke nodded.
"Bye Mum. Bye Dad." She waved at them, and they waved back.
The plane took off and Funke started staring out of the window.
This isn't her first time of traveling in a plane, but this one seems so special.
She's finally going to her dream country!
Not for a week, but for years!
How's that not special??
'I really can't wait to get there. Gøsh! I think I'm gonna die of happiness.' She said to herself as she spaced out through the window.
Her mind wasn't there though, she's just staring at the sky but her mind was already in Korea.
Most of the passengers were already asleep because the journey is quite long. She didn't blink an eye due to her anxiety.
For the entire 15 hours, 55 minutes, Funke didn't sleep at all, though almost all the passengers are asleep.
"Get ready to get off. We're at the South Korea, Seoul Airport." The pilot said through the mic, and Funke's face lightened up as she got prepared to alight from the plane.
The plane stopped moving which signals that it's on the ground. The door opened and the stairs came out, they started getting off one after the other.
Olufunke was the last to get off as she descended the stairs slowly.
She was busy scanning through everywhere as she alighted from the plane. Her luggages were brought to her and she bowed with a smile before heading towards the car that her dad prepared to take her to her new school, SEVIT UNIVERSITY.
"Anyeongseyo Ahgassi (Hello Miss)." The driver bowed slightly before collecting the bags from her, and placed it in the trunk.
"Anyeong." Funke respond to the greetings before entering into the backseat. The man entered into the driver's seat and drove off to Sevit University.
Olufunke shifted to the window side to get nice view of the road.
"Woah! This is awesome! Jinjja daebak! (Really awesome)." She commented as she watch the busy road.
"You really understand our language." The driver said and Funke smiled.
"I got to understand your language by watching movies, listening to music, and also learning from Duolingo." She replied.
"Woah! That's great." The man said, and Funke smiled.
She resumed watching the busy road as she smiled at intervals. Her eyes caught with a food company which was filled with people.
"This company must be really famous." She said.
"Oh! Go food. They're the best food company here in Seoul. They rank the number one in all companies in the whole of Korea. Trust me, you'll love their food. They supply for Sevit University." The man explained, and Funke gasped with a smile.
"Wow! Their food must be so amazing." She said as she salivate.
"Don't worry. You'll enjoy it when you get to the school. You should try the ttaekbokki first. It's so delicious." The man said and Funke smiled.
"Wow! I really can't wait. Are we getting closer already??" She asked.
"Yes. We're just three minutes away." The man replied, and Funke smiled happily.
"Are you my personal driver sir??" She asked again.
"Yes." The man replied.
"Okay. If that's the case, then let's get to know each other's names. I'm sure you already know my name." Funke said, and the man nodded in smile.
"You're Olufunke Thomas, right??" The man asked, and Funke chuckled softly as the man pronounced her name wrongly.
"You're right, though the pronunciation is wrong, but you tried... so what's your name??" She asked.
"You can call me Mr Kang. My name is Kang Yeo-jun." The man replied.
"Oh! Mr Kang or Mr Yeo-jun. Either of the two... anyway, let me have your number, so that I'll be able to call you anytime I need a drive." Funke said while handling her phone to the man.
The man inputted his number in the phone, though he couldn't concentrate at all because he had to type the number and also keep his eyes on the road.
He gave back the phone to Funke and concentrated fully on driving.
Minutes later, they arrived at Sevit University, and Mr Kang drove into the school compound.
"I'll lead you to your hostel, since you don't know where it's located. Then, we'll go to the staff office where you'll meet with your guardian." Mr Kang said as they both alighted from the car.
"Okay." Funke muttered as she took a look round the school compound.
"Woah! It's large! So great and awesome!" She complimented as she placed her two hands on her waist.
"Let's go Miss." Mr Kang said as he carried the bags and they both started heading to her hostel.
On their way, Funke tried to greet many people she came across but it was all in vain as no one even give her attention, not to talk of responding to her greetings.
"Why are they not responding to my greetings??" She asked Mr Kang who only smiled.
"Oh! That's because you're new here. They know that they've never seen you before, so they don't wanna talk to you. But trust me, once you settle with them, they'll know that you're now a part of them." Mr Kang said, and Funke nodded with a slight smile.
"I hope so." She muttered as they continued walking.
After walking for few minutes, they arrived at a well built hostel. It looks so expensive and fantastic.
"Wow! Is this the place??" Funke asked as she gasped at the sight of the house.
"Yes. Do you like it??" Mr Kang asked with a smile, and Funke squealed happily as she jumped around joyously.
"It's perfect! I love it!" She said with so much joy, and Mr Kang smiled satisfactorily.
"I'm glad you love it. I was praying so hard that you like it." Mr Kang said, and she smiled.
"I can't wait to go in. Do I have a housemate??" She asked.
"Yes. Two house mates. Actually, it's four people in an apartment, but your parents said they want only three in an apartment, so it's a three bedroom flat." Mr Kang explained, and she smiled.
"Are they Koreans?? Or from other countries??" She asked.
"They're both Koreans, but if you want me to change them for you, then I will gladly do that." Mr Kang said but she shook her head.
"No don't worry. I actually want Koreans as my house mates because I love Koreans." She said and Mr Kang smiled.
"That's good. Okay, let's go in." Mr Kang said and they both entered.
There was no one around when they entered, so Funke got a bit disappointed.
"I guess they went out for something. Or maybe they went to receive lecture." Mr Kang said when he noticed the disappointment in her eyes.
"Oh!..." Her voice suddenly trailed off.
"Okay, so let me take you round the house. First, this is the sitting room for the three of you. Let's go to your room. Your bathroom is there." Mr Kang said as he dragged the bags along with him.
Funke followed quietly behind him. She was really disappointed because she thought she would meet her house mates and they'll have fun together to celebrate her arrival.
Mr Kang opened the door to Funke's supposed room, and they entered.
"Wow! How did you know that my best color is blue??" Funke asked as she gasped at the sight of the room deco.
"Your mum told me to keep the room deco in blue. I first guessed that your best color should be pink, but she said I was wrong." Mr Kang said and Funke smiled.
"Well, you weren't totally wrong because my second best color is pink, comes purple, then white, and lastly black." Funke said.
"Oh! Okay. Let's check out the bathroom." Mr Kang said and took her to the bathroom.
"This is completely awesome!" Funke gasped when they entered the bathroom.
It was as spacious as three rooms joined together, and it was all painted and decorated in ocean blue.
"Oh mah gawd! I love it! I really love it so much! Thank you Mr Kang. Thank you so much." She said happily as she checked out the bathroom.
"Press this button for shower. To fill the bathtub with water, either cold or warm, press these two buttons. The one that has letter 'C' inscription is for cold water, while the one that has letter 'W' inscription is for warm water." Mr Kang explained, and Funke nodded in smile.
"I get it." She muttered.
"So let's proceed to the kitchen." Mr Kang said as they both headed out of the bathroom.
"Are we sharing same kitchen or differently??" She asked.
"It just one kitchen. You'll use the same kitchen." Mr Kang said and she nodded in smile.
"That's great! They'll teach me how to cook some meals." She said happily as she followed Mr Kang behind.
✰
Few hours later, the door opened and two girls came in. They're probably same age as Funke.
"Anyeongseyo." Funke greeted with a smile as she sighted them coming in.
The two girls looked at her from head to toe as if she's nothing, then without saying a word, they both headed to their rooms.
'What just happened?? Did I just get ignored again??' She asked herself as she watched them heading towards their various rooms.
'... did I just get ignored again?? What the hęck is happening?? Why are they all ignoring me??' Funke found herself asking as she watched the two girls heading towards their rooms.
She remembered Mr Kang's words and she sighed.
'Maybe because I'm new here truly. Once I settle down with them, they might like me.' She said in her mind, as she focused on her phone.
One thing you need to know about Funke, she's a phone freak. She can operate phone for the whole of Africa.
"Anyways, those two really look so much alike... maybe they're twin sisters." Funke said as she turned back to look at the girls rooms again, hoping to see them coming towards her, but it's just a wish.
She was still operating her phone when her mum's call came in.
"Oh... I forgot to call to tell them that I landed safely." She said before answering the call.
"Mum. I'm sorry, I was just about to call you." She said.
"Did you just got there or you forgot to call??" Mrs Thomas asked over the phone.
"Actually Mum... I forgot to call." She said and bit her lower lip, getting ready to get scolded for not calling earlier.
Another thing you need to know about her, she doesn't know how to lie. She would tell a lie, but you'll surely know that she lied.
"Otún ti bèrè àbí?? (You've started again right??) I clearly told you to call when you get there, but you forgot?? Is this how you'll forget about us??" Mrs Thomas asked, almost yelling.
"I'm sorry Mum. You know I can never forget about you and Dad. I just forget to call you to tell you about my safe arrival. I'm so sorry Mum." Funke pleaded and Mrs Thomas sighed.
"Anyways, how about the house your dad asked them to arrange for you?? Do you like it??" She asked.
"Yes Mum. It's amazing! I heard you told them to keep the interior deco in blue." Funke said.
"Yes. Or you don't like it??" Mrs Thomas asked, and Funke smiled.
"Are you kidding me Mum?? I don't like it. I love it! It's great!" She said.
"Okay, glad you like it. I'll tell your dad that you arrived there safely. Be a good girl, and always remember the child of whom you are, okay??"
"Sure Mum. Bye! I'm missing you already." She pouted, and her Mum chuckled.
"I miss you too. Just face your studies okay??"
"Alright Mum. Take care."
"Yeah bye." and she hung up.
She resumed operating her phone but she stopped when she suddenly heard some footsteps behind her.
She looked away from the phone and looked back to see one of the girls coming towards her, actually, she's tiptoeing towards her.
"Shhhh..." The girl said with her index finger on her lips, signalling to Funke to keep quiet.
Funke took her lips in so as not to laugh. She's a laugh freak and she laughs alot. The girl got to her and sat beside her quietly.
"Hi. I'm Jae-kyung. Heard you're from the Western part of Nigeria." The girl said with a smile, and Funke also smiled.
"Yes. I'm from the Yoruba tribe and my name is Funke." Funke said back and the girl looked at her from head to toe.
"You're cute. I love your gap-teeth." Jae-kyung said and Funke blushed.
"Thank you. You're also cute... by the way, is that second girl perhaps your twin sister??" Funke asked.
"Oh Ju-kyung. Yes, we're twin sisters. We really look so much alike so you might not be able to tell us apart, but I'll tell you how you can recognize us... take a look at this mark." Jae-kyung said as she pointed at her neck, she has a black mark.
"With this, you should be able to tell us apart. She doesn't have it, and she's Ju-kyung while I'm Jae-kyung, don't forget." Jae-kyung said, and Funke nodded with a smile.
"Okay. But why did you two not reply to my greetings the other time??" Funke asked, and Jae-kyung heaved a heavy sigh.
"Ju-kyung is one hęll of a cold girl. She's quiet and doesn't really associate with anyone aside me and our younger sister. Also, the only two guys she talk to is her boyfriend, Soo-oh and our half brother, Min-ho. Aside the four of us, she doesn't associate with any other people." Jae-kyung explained.
"Then why didn't you respond to my greetings then?? You should have replied, even if she won't." Funke said.
"Well, my twin doesn't really like it when I do something different from hers. She really wants the closest people in her life to do what she wants. She chooses the cloth I wear, the food I eat, people I can talk to, and what I can say. Just accept her that way. She's always like that." Jae-kyung replied, and Funke smiled.
"It's okay. Now I know the difference between you two. She's quiet and you're lively. But you're both beautiful." She said.
"Would you like to take a look round the school??" Jae-kyung asked, and Funke's face lit up.
"Oh yes. Let's go." Funke said and they both stood up.
"Sure." Jae-kyung nodded as they both walked quietly out of the apartment.
✰
As they were walking together while chatting, the students kept on looking at them with disgust.
-- Where did Jae-kyung got her from??
-- She's not even close to being pretty.
-- I know right?? Look at her.
-- Woah! Is that a space in her teeth?? What kind of a creature is she??
-- Never seen that before.
-- Eww! She disgust me!
...
Jae-kyung is starting to get annoyed as the comments kept on flowing.
She wanted to face them and shut them up, but she thought of Ju-kyung. Her toxic fans will tell her what she did, and she would really get angry with her.
Ju-kyung is a fashion model who is loved by all. Her love was transferred to her twin sister and younger sister, so they were loved equally.
Her fan base grew when she was seen with the youngest chaebol, Jin Soo-oh. He's 24 years old, and he's also the youngest billionaire in the whole of Korea. He has won many awards and so, he's so popular and loved. Soo-oh is effortlessly handsome, stinkingly rich, flawless skin and so many good qualities in him.
Most people says Ju-kyung doesn't deserve him, because of her introvert lifestyle, but who cares anyway?? Since she's loved by almost all the citizens of the Asian countries, who would dare to say she doesn't deserve to be with him??
The comments is now getting too much, and Jae-kyung couldn't take it anymore.
"Will you people just keep your stinky mouths shut?! How dare you abuse her?? Do you know her?? The fact that she has a gap-teeth doesn't mean that she's not a human being. She's also the same creature as y'all. You even went as far as saying she isn't close to being pretty, but my dears, I'm glad to tell you that she's the prettiest Nigerian girl I've ever seen, so keep your mouths shut on that. And for the fact that she's dark-skinned doesn't give y'all the right to hate on her. She love you all for heaven's sake! She fvcking love y'all, so why doing this?! You guys don't need it, please. Just keep your mouth shut if you don't have any good thing to say about her, okay??... Fuke let's go." Jae-kyung said as she held Funke's hand and pulled her away.
Despite being in such critical state, Funke almost laughed when she heard the way Jae-kyung pronounced her name - Fuke??
Seriously??
She couldn't control her laughter and she bursted out laughing.
Jae-kyung who was still boiling with rage turned her head swiftly to look at her.
"What's funny??" She asked.
"I'm just grateful for what you did for me. Their face expressions is funny. You need to see how they were looking after you talked." Funke lied.
"Seriously, I don't like what they did. The fact that you're from Nigeria and also a dark-skinned girl doesn't mean they can say all bad things about you. That's inhumane." Jae-kyung said, and Funke pouted.
"Can I say that I love you??" Funke asked and Jae-kyung smiled.
"Sure."
"Sarangyae Jae-kyung. (I love you Jae-kyung.)" Funke said and Jae-kyung smiled.
"Awwn, come on, give me a hug." Jae-kyung said, and Funke hugged her so tight.
"I love you too Fuke... and don't ever allow anyone to abuse or bad-mouth you. I might not be there to defend you like I just did, so always stand up for yourself, okay??" Jae-kyung said, and Funke nodded cutely.
"I will. Thank you." She said.
"Alright. Let's continue our tour." Jae-kyung said and they both smiled before walking away together.
"Actually, it's Funke, not Fuke." Funke said, and Jae-kyung looked at her.
"Fuke or what did you call it??" She asked.
"Funke... F-U-N-K-E. Funke." She spelt it out, but Jae-kyung rolled her eyes.
"Do you have an English name??" She asked, and Funke chuckled.
"My English name is quite funny... it's Sweetheart." Funke replied, and Jae-kyung raised a brow.
"Sweetheart??" She asked, and Funke nodded in smile.
"How come you ended up with such a name??" She asked again.
"Well, my mum named me that, so only her know her reason or reasons for giving me such a name." Funke replied.
"Then is it right to call you Sweetheart?? I mean... don't you have any other name??" Jae-kyung asked.
"I have... Violet."
"Good. Violet sounds cool. I'll call you Violet henceforth." Jae-kyung said, and Funke nodded.
"What about you and Ju-kyung?? Do you have English names??" Funke asked.
"A lot. Do you wanna hear them??" Jae-kyung asked, and Funke smiled.
"Yes."
"Okay... She's Leela, I'm Sheila. She's Nana, I'm Naomi. She's Medusa, I'm Mariposa. She's Maya, I'm Madelyn. She's Clara, I'm Mara. She's Mia, I'm Ria. She's Anabel, I'm Mirabel... wanna hear more??" Jae-kyung asked, and Funke just watched in awe.
"All those names for you??" She asked, and Jae-kyung smiled.
"It's still remains seven left. Wanna hear it??" Jae-kyung asked, and Funke faked a smile.
She gets tired easily. Any little thing, she's already tired.
"No. Let's talk about something else." She said.
"Okay. Do you know who the most handsome guy in this school is??" Jae-kyung asked.
"No. Tell me."
"People are still doubting who it is. There's this American guy that got transferred to this school just last week, he's Davis. He's well-known for his overloaded cuteness, and classic dress sense. Then there's Soo-oh. The most handsome guy and youngest successful billionaire before Davis arrives. He's our HOC (Head Of Class) and also my twinnie's boyfriend. Also another cute guy arrived just about this time yesterday, an Indian guy to be precise. Arizona. He's super cute! Extra hot! Effortlessly handsome! Very s£xy! Just name any good things you want in a guy. Arizona has it all! So people are really deliberating on who would be picked as the most handsome guy for this semester." Jae-kyung said.
"What if we were asked to vote?? Who will you vote for??" Funke asked.
"I'll go for Arizona... but then, Davis is also there. Oh gawd! Those two be kílling me!" Jae-kyung said dreamily, and Funke smiled.
✤ FEW HOURS LATER ✤
Jae-kyung and Funke has came back home, and Jae-kyung has returned back to her room quietly just the way she came.
Funke also was sitting alone in the sitting room, doing her usual routine. Phone!
Not long after they came back, Ju-kyung came out of her room with her phone in her hand.
She's only on a crop top that shows her navel, making her navel ring visible. And a cute blue bum short which reveals her clean and spotless thighs.
She put on her flip-flops before heading towards the door.
"I'm at the door already. Calm down babe." She said as she opened the door.
The moment she opened it, the guy pulled her into a hug, and she smiled cutely while inhaling his sweet scent.
"I missed you." The guy said in his cool and sweet voice.
Funke was badly craving to see the guy's face, as she tried really hard not to act nosy.
"Come in. Let's go to my room." Ju-kyung said while pulling the guy in, and the guy closed the door.
'OMG...! Am I in heaven?? Is he an angel?? Why is he so cute??... Or am I dreaming?? Someone please wake me up. How could he be so fvcking handsome?? Is he human at all??!' Funke screamed in her head as her gaze landed on Soo-oh, Ju-kyung's boyfriend.
Soo-oh looked at her somehow before smiling. Seeing his cute smile, Funke fainted immediately.
Soo-oh's eyes widened when he realized that Funke fainted. He wanted to rush to her and help her to regain consciousness but Ju-kyung held him back.
"What are you trying to do??" She asked, and Soo-oh looked at her.
"To help her regain consciousness of course. What does it look like I'm trying to do??" Soo-oh asked back, but Ju-kyung shook her head.
"No. Leave her alone. She'll wake up if she feels like. You didn't come here because of her, so let's go." She said and dragged Soo-oh along with her to her room, while he kept looking back at Funke.
Immediately they entered and Ju-kyung locked her room behind, Jae-kyung came out of her hiding place and rushed towards Funke.
She was probably hiding from her twin sister till she got the time to come close to her new friend.
"Hey..." She called in a low voice while tapping Funke's shoulder to wake up.
She did that several times but Funke didn't wake up, then she slapped her slightly though it was a hard one.
Funke sprang up and started looking around as if looking for something or someone.
"Where is the cute angel??" She asked Jae-kyung who rolled her eyes.
"Keep your mouth shut and stop asking foolish question. He's not an angel, he's a human, and he's Soo-oh, Ju-kyung's boyfriend. The one I told you about." Jae-kyung said, and Funke smiled.
"Oh! He's taken already." She muttered and Jae-kyung raised her brows.
"Don't tell me you're already falling for him??" She asked, and Funke immediately shook her head.
"No no. I'm just saying..."
"Good. Better let it be that way, because Ju-kyung doesn't joke with him. If you have any feelings for him, better demolish it now." Jae-kyung said, and Funke nodded.
"I'm not the type that falls for guys easily." She rolled her eyes.
"Good... I actually-" a knock interrupted her, and they both shared a look.
"Do you have a guest??" Funke asked and Jae-kyung shook her head.
"No. Must be Jun-hee and Min-ho." Jae-kyung replied while standing up.
"Who are those??" Funke asked in confusion.
"Oh. They're my younger sister and stepbrother. They come here everyday. Jun-hee must surely like you because she loves Nigerians a lot!" Jae-kyung replied with a smile and headed towards the door.
'Well well well, let's see the stepbrother. He must also be handsome.' Funke muttered to herself as she kept her gaze on the door.
Jae-kyung opened the door, and truly, it was her siblings. They both came in with smiles on their faces and Jae-kyung closed the door.
"I missed you so much Unnie." Jun-hee pouted as she hugged Jae-kyung.
"Lies. You still came here yesterday." Jae-kyung scoffed.
'Wow! He's also handsome! These people are really blessed with cuteness. Gawd!' Funke said in her head as she stared at Min-ho.
None of them was aware of Funke's presence until...
"Who's she?? I heard she's a new student." Min-ho asked as he stared continuously at Funke.
"Oh! Yeah. She's a new student and our new housemate..." Jae-kyung said and leaned closer to the two of them.
"My new friend too." She said that in a whisper and Jun-hee also looked at Funke.
"What?! Your new friend?? What if Ju-kyung Unnie finds out?!" Jun-hee half-yelled in a whisper, and Jae-kyung shook her head with a smile.
"Chholte! (Never!)... She'll never find out. We kept it a secret." She said.
"What secret?? I already heard it from the students before coming here that you went out with a strange looking girl. Trust me, Ju-kyung Noona will surely hear it from them." Min-ho said and Jae-kyung sighed heavily.
"Anyway, that's not a problem. She can't keep on controlling my life. I need friends too." She said and sat down.
"So... what's your name Miss??" Jun-hee asked while taking a seat beside Jae-kyung.
Min-ho also sat down opposite them.
"Violet Olufunke." Funke replied, and Jun-hee furrowed her brows.
"I've heard of Violet, but the second one sounds somehow strange. Fuye or what did you call it??" Jun-hee asked, and Funke laughed.
"It's Funke... but you know what, just call me Violet." Funke said after her laughter subsided.
"Alright. Which country are you from??" Jun-hee asked.
Jae-kyung and Min-ho were just watching with no expression whatsoever.
"I'm a Nigerian." Funke replied, and Jun-hee's eyes grew wider.
"Are you for real??!" She gasped, and Funke nodded with a smile.
In just a twinkle of an eye, Jun-hee jumped over to where Funke sat, and quickly took a seat beside her.
"Wow! I love Nigerians a lot! Which part of Nigeria are you from??" She asked.
Funke was surprised at her sudden attitude. She never knew that there would be someone here who love Nigerians.
"Are you from Lagos State??" Jun-hee asked again when Funke didn't reply, and her eyes widened more.
"How did you know??" She asked and Jun-hee shrugged while smiling.
"I heard Lagos State is the most famous City in Nigeria, so definitely, you must be from there." She replied.
"You're right. I came from Victoria Island, Lagos State." Funke replied and Jun-hee smiled.
"Wow! Your house must be really big since you're living on Island." Jun-hee said and Funke chuckled.
"Her parents must be really rich and prominent people." Jae-kyung chipped in, and Jun-hee nodded in agreement.
"Do you have any siblings?? Maybe a brother or a sister??" Jun-hee asked.
Hearing that, Funke laughed slightly, revealing her gap-teeth and Jun-hee gasped.
"Wow! How did you do that?? I want to have it too. You look really cute when you show it." She said, and Funke laughed real this time.
"I didn't do it. It's a natural gift from above." She replied with a smile.
"Really?? Awwn. I love you so much because you're cute." Jun-hee said while hugging her.
Funke chuckled as she watched her behaving like a puppy around her.
"C'mon tell me, do you have a brother or sister??" Jun-hee asked again immediately she broke the hug.
"No. I'm an only child... but I have a twin cousins of both gender." Funke replied as her mind drifted to her cousins, Bright and Charles. They're the sweetest cousins you'll ever pray to have.
They looked after Funke in school as if she's their treasure. Now they're both in Oxford University, England, UK.
"They must be really cute I guess." Jun-hee asked and Funke nodded with a smile.
"I miss them a lot. They're currently in Oxford University." She replied.
"England??"
"Yes. Both are studying law." Funke replied.
"Wow! I'm impressed... what about you?? Which course are you pl-"
"That's enough Jun-hee. You asked too many questions already. Aren't you tired?? Does your mouth not hurt??" Min-ho asked, and Funke chuckled.
"I was about to ask her same question. Since you both arrived, she's been asking questions. Forming a news reporter already?? Huh?" Jae-kyung asked and Jun-hee rolled her eyes.
"I was only trying to know more about her. That's all." Jun-hee said, and Min-ho sneered.
"Trying to know more about her or about her cousin brother??" Min-ho asked and Jun-hee squeezed her face.
"Exactly! Remember she always says that Nigerian boys are the cutest... she even went as far as saying she'd get married to one." Jae-kyung said to Min-ho and they both laughed.
"I told you guys not to talk about it!" Jun-hee snapped as she glared at them.
"Oops! Kiddo is angry. Sorry baby." Jae-kyung said and bursted out laughing again.
"You both are really annoying... just don't mind them Violet, tell me more about your cousins." Jun-hee said as she faced Funke.
"Hmm... don't mind her Violet, tell her more about your cousins, especially your cousin brother." Jae-kyung said and Jun-hee sent her a shot across the bow.
"Yes. She'd really want to know more about him than his twin sister, so tell her about him first." Min-ho added, and Jun-hee folded her fists in anger mixed with frustration.
"I hate you guys. I hate you so fvcking much!" She yelled angrily, and Jae-kyung bursted out laughing.
"Hey hey! Calm down kiddo." Min-ho said and she rolled her eyes as she fumed with anger.

✧✦✤ NIGHT ✤✦✧
Jun-hee and Min-ho already left. Ju-kyung also left with Soo-oh, leaving Jae-kyung and Funke all alone.
"You can't know how happy I am right now Vee!" Jae-kyung squealed happily immediately she ended the call she got from Ju-kyung.
According to what Ju-kyung told her, she's not coming back tonight. She'll spend the night at Soo-oh's place, and Jae-kyung's so d*mn happy about it.
"What happened?? What did she say??" Funke asked.
"She's not coming home tonight. We're gonna be together all night long Vee! I'm so happy!" Jae-kyung screamed in her tiny voice, almost deafening Funke's ears.
"Why are you so happy about it??" Funke asked, and Jae-kyung looked at her.
"Are you kidding me?? I was always alone anytime she doesn't spend the night at home. Now that you're here, I won't feel lonely any longer, so why won't I be happy??" She asked and scoffed.
Funke smiled and her mind suddenly drifted to the ttaekbokki that Mr Kang told her to taste first.
"Now that we're alone, can we have ttaekbokki together??" She asked, hoping to hear a positive response from Jae-kyung.
"Sure! Let's go to the cafeteria. I'm sure you gonna love it. Go Food are really the best food production company." Jae-kyung said and they both stood up.
"I watched it from movies that Soju goes best with hot spicy ttaekbokki. Can we have Soju too??" Funke asked as they both headed out of the apartment.
"Of course! I was going to get that too."
"Is it true that Soju is an alcoholic drink??" Funke asked again and Jae-kyung smiled.
"It's not only alcoholic, it's ALCOHOL itself." She replied, and Funke sighed.
"Why?? You don't take alcoholic drinks??" Jae-kyung asked, and Funke nodded.
"But that doesn't mean I won't drink Soju. I literally want to have a taste of it." She replied.
"I bet you won't only have a taste, you'll drink two to three bottles." Jae-kyung said and they both smiled.
They got to the cafeteria and ordered for two plates of super spicy ttaekbokki and four bottles of Soju.
They were on their way out when Funke suddenly bumped into someone and she almost fell but the guy was quick enough to grab her by the waist.
She's a type of girl that gets scared easily, and she closed her eyes tight. When she felt a strong hand on her waist, preventing her from falling, she opened her eyes slowly, only to see a cute guy looking deep into her eyes.
Her jaw dropped when she realized how charming and captivating he is.
He's drop-dead gorgeous!
She got hold of herself and stood properly.
"Are you okay??" The guy asked in his angelic voice.
On hearing his voice, she fainted immediately and the guy got her again before she falls.
"Hey! Hey!! Are you okay??" The guy called as he shook her body.
"Open your eyes Vee!" Jae-kyung screamed as she also bent over beside the guy.
After what seemed like forever, she opened her eyes and when her gaze landed on the guy again, she fainted!
"Again??!" The guy groaned as he stare at her face continuously.
"Oh gawd! What's happening?? Vee??!!" Jae-kyung screamed, and the guy shook her body again.
She opened her eyes and they both (Jae-kyung and the guy) heaved a sigh of relief.
"Thank goodness! You scared the sh*t outta me girl!" The guy said and Funke got on her feet.
"I'm sorry... thank you anyways. Let's go Jae-kyung." She said and rushed out of the cafeteria.
"Sorry for what just happened. Thank you Calvin." Jae-kyung said to the guy and he squeezed his face.
"Oh! I'm sorry. I mean to say Davis." Jae-kyung corrected herself and rushed after Funke.
"Wait for me Vee!" She shouted and Funke stopped walking as she caught up with her.
"What happened over there?? Why did you fainted??" Jae-kyung asked as they both resumed walking together.
"Can't you see how charming that guy is?? Who's he??" Funke asked.
"Oh! That's Davis. The American guy I told you about earlier on." Jae-kyung replied.
"Really?? Wow! He's really truly handsome." Funke said, and Jae-kyung nodded.
"I know right... is real name is Calvin... Calvin Woods." Jae-kyung said and Funke looked at her in confusion.
"Then why are you calling him Davis when he's Calvin??" She asked.
"Well, there's actually another Canadian guy named Calvin, but they're not in good terms. They despises each other so much, and the American guy said he doesn't want to bear the same name as his enemy, so he changed his name to his second name, which is Davis." Jae-kyung explained.
They were already at their apartment, and Funke opened the door for them to enter.
"Anyways, he's really good-looking. If attractive was a person, then it's him. I'm so drawn to him like a magnet." Funke said and Jae-kyung smiled.
"Take it easy girl!" She said and they both laughed as they settled down to eat.
✧✦✤ NEXT DAY ✤✦✧
Ju-kyung has already left the apartment since she has a lecture to attend before her twin. They're studying two different courses, Jae-kyung is studying Medicine, same as Funke, while Ju-kyung is studying Business Administration.
Since they're having different classes to attend and Ju-kyung already left the house, Jae-kyung had the opportunity to go to class together with Funke.
"I really can't wait to meet our classmates. I want to know who the most handsome guy is." Funke said happily as they both made their way to the lecture room.
"I pity you. You know you like to faint anytime you see a handsome guy. You'll surely faint over and over again. I promise you that." Jae-kyung said and they both laughed.
Funke kept muttering 'wow' as they came across different guys.
'They're all good-looking.' She muttered in her mind as she kept on looking round.
Finally, they got to the lecture room and the first guy that Funke's gaze fell on was the Indian guy, Arizona.
Arizona was on a shirt which he left the first two buttons unhooked, and he was drinking water from a bottle.
The water trickled down from his mouth straight down to his revealing fresh chest, making him look so fvcking s£xy.
Funke gasped as she stood at a spot, watching him like Disney Junior.
Arizona dropped the bottle and his eyes went to her. He noticed her looking at him and he winked with a smile.
Funke gasped and just as Jae-kyung had said, she fainted.
