Chapter 1 The One Blissful Night

"Damn! He's hot!" Jane bit her lower lip, her eyes locked on the figure that just stepped into the club. Ginny sighed in annoyance and turned to see what had caught her innocent friend's attention. Her jaw dropped and she swallowed hard as she took in the man before them.

He had dark, jet-black hair styled to perfection, a sharp jawline, and intense eyes that seemed to pierce through the crowd. His light gray shirt clung tightly to his body, showcasing his chiseled abs and broad shoulders. His face was almost like being perfect, but more like a piece of art.

"Damn... he's hot" Ginny mumbled, biting her lower lip.

"He sure is" Jane confirmed, their gaze never wavering from the man.

"Here's your drink, miss" The bartender interrupted, setting the bottle down on the glass table. Ginny quickly returned her gaze to face the stranger, but he was no longer there as if he had vanished into thin air. She growled, grabbing the bottle angrily, resisting the urge to yell at the bartender for distracting her.

"Can I say something, miss?" The bartender asked, pouting his pink lips. He was handsome too, but not as much as the guy from earlier. Ginny nodded and took a swig of her drink.

"Take it easy, that's your eighth bottle today. You're a beautiful young lady..."

Ginny suddenly slammed the bottle against the glass table. The bartender cringed, as he quickly moved his gaze from Ginny to the bottle on the table, expecting it to shatter, but the bottle luckily, it didn't.

"A little advice... learn how to mind your own business," Ginny snarled before getting to her feet, staggering backward for a moment. "Let's dance, Jane!" She declared, raising the bottle in the air, making her way toward the dance floor and Jake followed swiftly, staggering as she did.

"Yesss!... Wohoo!" Jane cheered, shaking her butt simultaneously to the rhythm of the jazzy music playing in the background.

"Wanna dance?" A guy extended his hand to her. Jane looked up at his handsome face and slid her hand into his.

"Since I'm already dancing... Of course," she half-grinned. The guy nodded positively as he rhythmically pulled her close, both dancing in unison.

Ginny suddenly stopped dancing, scanning the dance floor. "Where is she?" she groaned, narrowing her eyes.

"Hey, cutie." A deep baritone voice called from behind her. She spun around to see the man from earlier, now standing right in front of her. Immediately, her eyebrows furrowed, and her jaw dropped slightly as she stared at him. He looked even more handsome and hot up closely, making her heart race.

"Wanna dance?" He extended his hand.

"Sure... yes," she stuttered, rushing the last part. Feeling her attractive features, he pulled her close with his hand grabbing her waist. She swallowed hard, placing her hands on his shoulders as they began to dance, moving their bodies to the beat of the music.

He pressed his hands firmly on her waist, drawing her even closer as they swayed slowly. Ginny suddenly felt her legs weaken; she was getting aroused.

Noticing her state, he spun her around continuously for a few seconds before pulling her close again. Ginny pushed him away abruptly and rushed off. She needed to puke and couldn't hold it in any longer. He frowned in concern and followed her.

Ginny pushed open the door leading to the bathroom as she stumbled inside. She barely made it to the sink before she vomited, gripping her stomach tightly.

"Puff..." She groaned, raising her hand to frantically search for the tap handle. When she found it, she turned it on, but the water unexpectedly gushed out, splashing her face and nearly choking her as it went up her nose. She staggered backward, losing her balance, but two hands caught her just in time.

"Are you okay?" She heard the same deep baritone voice and turned to face him. A smile crept onto her lips as she looked into his handsome face. Her hands rested comfortably on his shoulders, inhaling his cologne as she did so.

He stared at her closely; she looked so pretty with her eyes closed like that. His gaze trailed down to her lips, and he suddenly felt the urge to kiss her. He swallowed hard, staring at her lips as they drew closer to his, and before he could stop himself, he kissed her.

Ginny's eyes flew open immediately, blinking frantically as she tried to process what had just happened. She pulled her hands off his shoulders and stepped back.

"I'm sorry" He muttered, noticing how uncomfortable she seemed.

"It's fine" She stuttered, nervously playing with her nails. He was incredibly handsome, and his deep voice and intoxicating cologne weren't helping.

"What's your name?" He asked gently.

"My name is..." Before she could finish, he suddenly grabbed her by the waist and kissed her again. Ginny froze, not responding at first, but she couldn't deny how good of a kisser he was.

His hand moved to her chest, gently squeezing it with one hand, and he bit softly on her lower lip. She moaned softly into his mouth and before she knew it, she was kissing him back passionately.

He slowly pulled away, both of them trying to catch their breath. "Jump on," he said softly, dropping a kiss on the hand. Like a robot controlled by a remote, Ginny responded to his command, jumping up and wrapping her legs around his torso.

His hand moved to her butt, holding her close to him, and he slammed his lips against hers again. Ginny responded eagerly as he spun around, kicked the bathroom door open, and strolled inside.

He laid her gently on the bed, his lips never leaving hers, and began unbuttoning her shirt until she was completely unclothed. He removed his belt, quickly slipping off his trousers. The desire in his eyes was evident as he looked at her.

He leaned closer, nibbling softly on her ear before moving to her neck. Ginny wrapped her arms around his neck, wanting more and more. He was ready to give her everything she desired.

He parted her legs gently and entered her. Ginny gripped his shoulders tightly as he moved inside her, her back arching off the bed. He swallowed hard and began thrusting into her hungrily.

Chapter 2 Memories of that Night

Ginny's eyes fluttered open, her head pounding fiercely. But the headache was nothing compared to the pain she felt between her legs. Her eyes frantically scanned the room as the events of the night before came rushing back to her. Her eyes widened as she peeled the sheets off her body.

"Damn it!" She cursed, as her eyes flew to staring at the bloodstain on the bed. Her eyes suddenly caught sight of a note, and she grabbed it angrily, reading the contents aloud:

"Sorry, Sugarplum, I would have stayed a little longer, but I had to catch my flight. Just wanted to let you know... you're really naughty for a virgin."

She crumpled the paper and tossed it away angrily. "Damn you!" She groaned, and her hand flew to rub her hair. "I was saving it for Mr. Right, and you have the nerve to take it in one night! Fuck!" Her voice was loud with reverberation.

'Flight.' The word suddenly rang in her ear, her eyes widened and she jumped to her feet immediately. Just then, her phone rang. Her eyes frantically searched the room before spotting it on the table beside her. She grabbed the phone and quickly silenced the alarm, which clearly stated, ''An hour to flight.'

She tossed the phone onto the bed and dashed toward the bathroom. In less than twenty minutes, she was done, fully dressed in a long pink gown with a white strap that slightly exposed her back and a slit up to her knee. Her lips were painted a vibrant red.

Ginny yanked the wardrobe open, pulled out her traveling box, and rolled it out, securing her handbag with her other hand. She stopped at the reception desk and dropped off her key.

"I'm signing out," she said, pushing the key onto the table and flashing the receptionist a smile, which was returned.

"Thanks for patronizing us" The receptionist replied.

Ginny nodded and quickly walked out, rolling her bag behind her. She stopped right outside and waved down a cab. She immediately got in, and they drove off.

Her phone beeped suddenly. She glanced at the screen to see a message from Jane:

'Hey, love! Sorry for ditching you yesterday. I got drunk and almost ended up in someone else's bed, but I ran home before he could do something stupid. I'm sorry I couldn't see you off. I've got a crazy..."

She groaned, shoving her phone back into her purse, not reading the entire message. She still couldn't believe she had lost her virginity so carelessly, especially when she had been saving it for Mr. Right. It was supposed to be a celebration of her breakthrough from college, and she had urged Jane to go with her in booking the hotel and also clubbing but now it felt like a nightmare.

"Why did I meet him?" She muttered angrily. "I hate him!" She mumbled, facepalming herself.

"We're here, ma'am" The cab driver informed her, jolting her out of her thoughts.

"Thanks" She muttered, pulling the door open and dragging her luggage out before grabbing her handbag. She headed into the airport, and just then, an announcement echoed through the halls:

'The next flight to New York is about to take off in ten minutes. All passengers should be on board now!'

Ginny tightened her grip on the handle of her luggage and quickly rushed toward the reception desk. She dug into her bag and pulled out her passport and ticket, handing them to the receptionist.

"You're just in time, ma'am," the receptionist said with a smile, checking her documents. Ginny kept tapping her feet on the floor repeatedly, impatiently waiting for her to be done.

"Your documents aren't completed ma'am, I can't find your passport" The receptionist pointed out.

"Is it that you're blind, or you can't see I'm standing right here! What do I need a passport for..." She smacked her hand hard against the desk and the receptionist flinched backward, not expecting the impact.

"I'm sorry" She quickly apologized realizing her mistake. She sighed before stuffing her hand into her handbag and brought out a passport, handing it over to her. The receptionist scanned it before handing all her documents back, this time with a frown. "You can proceed to Gate 5."

"Thank you" Ginny replied, grabbing her things and making her way through the bustling airport. Her mind was still swirling with the events of the previous night. She couldn't shake the feeling of regret and confusion. How could she have let things spiral out of control so quickly? She had never been the type to lose herself in the heat of the moment, especially not with a stranger.

The encounter had left her feeling vulnerable and exposed. The fact that the man had simply vanished without a trace, leaving nothing but a hastily scribbled note, made her feel used and discarded.

As she reached Gate 5, Ginny took a deep breath, trying to steady herself. She handed her boarding pass to the attendant and walked down the jet bridge to the plane. Once inside, she found her seat by the window and settled in, placing her bag under the seat in front of her. She stared out the window, watching the airport staff bustling about, but her thoughts were miles away.

The plane took off smoothly, and Ginny leaned back in her seat, closing her eyes. Despite the noise of the engines and the chatter of the other passengers, she felt a deep sense of loneliness. The excitement of graduating and moving to New York, which had been her dream for so long, was overshadowed by the emptiness she felt inside.

Her phone hummed in her pocket, snapping her back to life. She pulled it out to see another message from Jane:

'Hey, babe, are you on your way? Call me when you land. Let's catch up soon!"

Ginny sighed, staring at the screen for a moment before typing a quick reply.

'Yeah, I'm on the plane now. I'll call you when I land. Take care.'

She put her phone back in her pocket and closed her eyes again, trying to push the negative thoughts out of her mind.

Chapter 3 My Stepfather

Ginny's plane touched down at JFK International Airport with a gentle thud, the familiar skyline of New York City visible through her window. She slowly stood up and alighted, after retrieving her luggage.

She made her way through the bustling airport terminal, her heart racing as she dialed her mom's number. The phone rang twice before her mom's cheerful voice echoed through the line.

"Ginny! Sweetheart, you've landed!" Her mom's excitement was palpable, bringing a small smile to Ginny's lips despite her unease.

"Yeah, Mom, I'm here" Ginny replied, trying to match her mother's enthusiasm. "I just got off the plane."

"Oh, that's wonderful! Listen, I've arranged for a cab driver to pick you up. He should be holding a sign with your name on it."

Ginny scanned the crowded terminal, her eyes searching for the driver. A few moments later, she spotted a man waving a cardboard sign with her name scrawled across it. "I see him, Mom. I'll be home soon."

"Good! Drive safely, honey. I can't wait to see you!" Her mom's voice was filled with warmth and anticipation, making Ginny feel a pang of guilt for the turmoil brewing inside her.

"I'll be there soon. Love you, Mom" She hung up the call and rolled her suitcase toward the driver. The man greeted her with a friendly smile as she approached.

"Miss Ginny, welcome to New York! Let me help you with your bags," he said, taking her suitcase and placing it in the trunk of the cab.

"Thank you" Ginny muttered, trying to muster a smile as she slid into the backseat of the car. The driver quickly closed the trunk and hopped into the front seat, starting the engine with a smooth hum.

As the cab pulled away from the airport, Ginny gazed out the window, the city's towering buildings and bustling streets whizzing by. She attempted to clear her mind, pushing aside the anxiety that had taken root in her chest. Her mom was excited about her coming home, and Ginny didn't want to disappoint her. She forced a smile, hoping it would eventually feel real.

The cab ride seemed to stretch on forever, though in reality, it was only a short drive. When they finally arrived at her childhood home, Ginny felt relieved. She hadn't been back since she went to college, which was approximately three years ago. Her mother was remarried now and the thought of meeting her stepfather filled her with unease.

The cab came to a sudden stop, Ginny took a deep breath and stepped out, her eyes immediately falling on her mother, who was already rushing out the front door with open arms.

"Ginny!" Her mom called out, pulling her into a warm, tight embrace. "I'm so glad you're here. Come inside, sweetheart."

Ginny hugged her mother back, the familiar scent of home bringing a brief sense of comfort. "It's good to see you, Mom," she said, her voice soft as they pulled apart.

"Come on in" Her mom urged, leading her up the steps and into the house. "Raymond arrived not long ago; he's just taking a shower."

At the mention of her stepfather, Ginny's expression darkened. She glanced at her mom, her tone laced with irritation. "Mom, was it really necessary to remarry? I mean, couldn't you just wait a little longer?"

Her mom's face softened, a hint of sadness in her eyes as she reached out to touch Ginny's arm. "Ginny, we've talked about this. I know it's hard for you to accept, but I'm happy, and I think you'll like Raymond. Just give him a chance."

Ginny sighed, biting back her retort. She didn't want to start an argument the moment she got home. "Fine" She muttered, moving to sit on the couch. The soft cushions provided little comfort as she tried to brace herself for the inevitable introduction.

Her mom walked to the bottom of the stairs and called out, "Raymond! Come downstairs, Ginny's here!"

Ginny's heart pounded in her chest as she waited, her mind racing with a mix of emotions. She had no idea what to expect, and the anticipation was making her uneasy.

A few moments later, she heard the sound of footsteps descending the stairs. Ginny looked up, and as Raymond turned the corner to face her, she froze in place. Her breath caught in her throat, and her mind went blank.

Standing before her was the man from last night-the man who had turned her world upside down in the span of a few hours. The same piercing eyes, the same chiseled features... it was him.

Ginny's heart plummeted into her stomach as the realization hit her like a freight train. Her mother's new husband, her stepfather... was the man from her one-night stand.

Everything in her world seemed to crumble in that instant, her thoughts a whirlwind of confusion and dread. This couldn't be happening. Things were getting fucked up.

Raymond's eyes widened in recognition as he stared back at her, but he quickly masked his expression with a polite smile. "Ginny, it's so nice to finally meet you."

Ginny couldn't move, couldn't speak. She just stared at him, her mind screaming in silence as she tried to process the horrific twist of fate that had just unfolded before her.
