A BABY FOR THE BILLIONAIRE

~ At Northern Land Hotel~

Ken sat on a silver chair like that of a king, standing beside him was his Assistant and a young lady in front of him. The young lady was a 25 years old, she wore a short black gown and a white spring with ruffles in front. On her head was a small white cap covering only the center of her head. On her leg was a covered white shoes and a black socks. Ken's Eyes were closed, the thumb on his left hand was pinned on his left cheek while the index finger was on the forehead.

" You said your Name's Isabel?" He asked the young lady who had smile plastered on her face. " Yes" She answered. " And you are a waitress here?" He asked again and she nodded her head. Ken opened his eyes slowly, he lifted up his head and looked at her. " How sure are you that I am the one you are looking for?" He threw another Question at her.

Isabel was getting bored with the Questions, She raised her left brow up and chuckled.

" Although my little Kiara looks a lot like me but I would never forget the face of the Man that took Advantage of me" She blurted. Ken sighed and shook his head. It was already an hectic day for him after the so many meetings he had with the shareholders of his company and all he wanted was to rest and Relaxed his mind in that Hotel before going home but then Isabel appeared in front of him.

" Hey young lady, I think you are mistaken" The Assistant broke the silence. " I'm not mistaken, your Boss over here is the father of my Baby" She said pointing at Ken who was so confused of everything. " What proof do you have?" He asked again and she smiled. She out her hand in the apron and brought out a mini book.

" On the 10th of October 2021 , Your Boss here came to this hotel, he booked Room 403 which is the same room we are now and got drunk. I was preparing to go home as my duty was over when the manager told me to go check this Sam room. I entered the room Unsure of what was waiting for me and your Boss took Advantage of me. Well Congratulations to him, We made a cute Baby that night" She closed the Book with a bang and put it back in the apron. She looked at Ken with a smiley face and gave him a wink.

" This is what you get when you get drunk" She said to him and Ken shook his head Disappointedly. " Boss, you did came here on the date she mentioned and I remember you got drunk too" The Assistant said. " Thank Goodness someone Remembered" She said Excitedly.

" But I'm not Ready to be a Dad" Isabel Burst in to laughter, She was surprised that a Full grown man said he wasn't ready to he a Dad. " Are you kidding me?" She asked in between laughter. " No, I'm Not" Ken said. " Then who told you to get drunk?" She asked Again but his Assistant interrupted.

" Are you trying to Blackmail Us?" He asked her and she looked at him " Excuse me" She said. " You work in an Hotel and can enter any room freely. Aren't you trying to force the baby on him because he is a Billionaire?" Isabel's eyes opened wide. " What would be my gain if I force my baby on someone who isn't her Daddy? And oh.. wonderful! I had no idea My Baby's Dad is a Billionaire, what a perfect Reunion. You see, I...." Ken interrupted her.

" Go, I'll think about it" He said and she brought out a pen and a paper from the pocket on the apron. She wrote her full name , her address and contact number on it and placed it on the mini table in front of Ken. " You don't Have to think about it because you are the man that took away my virginity. Anyways, that's my address and contact number, I'll look yours up in the Book because I know you won't give it to me. Come see your Baby or I'll bring her to you" She winked at him and to their utter astonishment, she left the room.

" Boss, What should we do?" Dan The Assistant asked frustratingly. " I have no idea. you can go now, I want some rest" He stood up from the chair and lay down on the Extravagant bed. Dan sat on another chair looking at Ken as he slept like nothing Disturbed him.

At the kitchen, four to five ladies were busy making dishes. Isabel entered beaming with Smile, she Stood beside another waiter who looked the same age as her.

" You took so long in there, what Transpired between you two?" She asked cutting some veggies. " You won't believe it even if I tell you" Isabel said Smiling. " Just tell me already" Isabel turned to the left and the right to make sure no one was listening to their conversation. " You can't believe he is a Billionaire" She whispered to her. The knife Lana was holding fell to the floor and the other girls turned to them.

" Watch it before you hurt yourself" One of the girls said and another one added. " Can't you two stop gossiping and wait till you are home?" Another one said. Normally, Isabel would have talked back but she was in a happy mood that moment and so, she ignored them.

" Are you serious?" Lana asked Surprisingly. " Yes" She answered. " Wow! That means Kiara's Daddy is a Billionaire but what did he say about seeing Kiara?" She asked again. " He said he would think about it but you know u can't let this opportunity slip by" Isabel smiled. " I know you , you won't Disappoint me"

" I gave him my address and contact number to come see his child or I bring her to him" She Snapped her fingers. " Wow! You never fail me" Lana exclaimed. " But are you sure he would come see Kiara?" Lana asked. " This is were I need you to help me" She wrapped her arm on Lana's shoulders. " What do you want me to do?" Lana asked worriedly. She was scared Isabel would put her in to trouble again.

" I want you to help me check his address in the Book" She whispered to her. " What Book?" Lana asked. " The Hotel's Book" She said and Lana dropped the knife again. " Hey careful" Isabel picked up the knife and dropped it on the Table. " Are you joking right now? You know I can't do it. What if the manager caught us?" Lana whispered Worriedly. " I'm not joking, You can do it and the manager won't even know what we did. It's Not a crime, I just want to know the Address of my Baby's Dad. Please help me, you know I've been waiting for this moment for almost two years now" Isabel pleaded. " But do you even know his name?" Lana asked.

" Oh no, I don't" She but her lower lip thinking of what to do. " Then it's impossible for us to find out where he lives" Lana heaved a sigh of relief. " I'll be right back" She turned to leave but Lana stopped her. " Where are you going?" She asked. " To ask for his name" She said and left. " What is this girl trying to do? Oh Isa. Oh well, it's a Good thing she finally found the father of her child" Lana sighed and continued what she was doing.

Isabel left the kitchen with the hope of knowing The billionaires name but before she could knock on the door, Dan the Assistant opened the door. He stared at her like someone who had seen a very disgusting thing.

" What brings you back? The Boss is sleeping" He said stepping out of the room. He closed the door behind him and stood on the way. " Let me in, it's your Boss I have business with not you" She said and he shook his head. " Why you of all people? My Boss Should have made a baby with another waitress" He sighed. " And now that he made the baby with me, what would you do? Nothing. You should start respecting me now I else I'll get you fired when I moved in to the house with him" She threatened. Dan's jaw dropped, He couldn't believe Someone like Isabel said that to him.

" And who told you my Boss will accept you? Quite dreaming young lady. please go, Go and attend to customers, My Boss Need some privacy" He opened the door to go in but Isabel pushed him aside and hurried inside the room. " Come back here!" He chased after her. " What's Going on?" Ken Raised up his head looking at Dan and Isabel. " Sorry to disturb your peace, your Majesty. I just want to know your name" She said smiling. " What do you want to do with his name?" Dan asked her and she rolled her eyes. " It's None of your Business, I was talking to him not you" She Quarreled

" I know you asked him but I have the right to say whatever I want to say to you. Now leave, You are invading our privacy" He said pointing to the door. " And what if I don't leave?" Isabel asked with her hands folded. " Then I'll call the manager and get you fired" He said. She burst in to laughter, clapping her hands together. " It will be a great honor if I get fired, I'll move in to his house and enjoy his Money" She said Happily. " This lady here have lost it. Leave!" He commanded but instead, Isabel sat on the silver chair and crossed her legs. " Now, Tell me his name" She said blowing her finger nails.

" What da! You..." Ken Sighed. " Enough! Why are you two acting like Enemies. Do you know each other?" He asked and Isabel nodded her head when Dan didn't say a word. " I've Known Dan for years now, he's just the way I knew him back in the days. Some things never change" She shook her head and smacked her lips. " Yes and you haven't change either, You will never change" He said and Ken Chuckled. " Are you two Siblings?" He asked and they both answered at the same time. " No" They chorused. " Okay, So what did you said you want again?" Ken asked Isa who was looking at Dan.

" I wanted to know your name, Your full name" She said. " What do you want to do with my full name?" Ken asked her. " Can't I know the name of my Baby's Dad?" She asked instead of answering his Question. " He is not the father of your Child" Dan Retorted. " Will you just keep shut and allow him to say that with his own mouth? You are polluting the air" Isa said and he looked at his Boss. " Boss, please Send this girl out. She's so irritating" Ken Stood up from the bed, He picked up his phone and went to where She was sitting. " My name's Ken" He said and she quickly brought out her mini book and a pen.

" Ken what?" She asked writing it down. " Ken Anderson, but that doesn't mean I'm the Father of your child" He said and left the room before Isa could say anything. " You are Kiara's Dad, take it or leave it" She said after him. " See? He said The child isn't his, go find someone else" Dan said and Hurried after his Boss.

" Whatever, I'll bring her to you" She Smiled and put back the book in her pocket. " Now what next?" She looked around the room and the memory of 10th October Came flashing back. " Oh well, It's in the past now. It's time for me to start a new life" She smiled and left the room.

" Did He tell you his name?" Lana asked immediately she ran in to Isabel on the stairs. " It was so tough but yes, He told me" She sighed and Lana Smiled. " Then that means He accepted Kiara, I'm so happy for you Dear" She said and Isabel Chuckled. " Whether he accepts her or not I don't care. All I know is Kiara is his Child. Now let's go" She said holding Lana's hand. " Where?" Lana asked. " To check the Book of course, Let's go fast before the manager comes out of his office" She Whispered when she saw another waiter coming up the stairs. " I..." Lana paused and waited till the Lady was out of sight. " I don't want to get in to another trouble, you've put me in trouble four times in just two weeks already" Lana said Worriedly.

" Don't worry Lana, I'll find another job for you in his company If we get fired" She said and Lana shook her head. " You are not even sure of who he is and you are promising me a job in his company? God!" She tapped her forehead. " Let's Go already" She dragged Lana to the room where they kept Hotel books but unknown to them, The manager was in the room checking out some names. " Let's go" Isabel whispered after opening the door.

" Go where?" She froze when she heard a voice, she Hoped it wasn't the manager but her eyes fell on him when she turned around. " Come in" He said taking down his legs from the table. " Who's there with you?" He asked her but when Isabel turned around to call Lana, she didn't see her again. " That brat, she ran away" She said under her breath. " What was that?"" The manager asked and Isabel smiled. " Oh sir, I have no idea you were here" She said smiling nervously. " Oh really? What do you want here?" He asked and she started laughing jittery. " N.. nothing, we .. I mean, I Just wanted to check if this room is clean there are dust everywhere" She said dusting a book on the shelf with her hand.

" Do I have to remind you that your Job is to serve people their food?" The manager said and she Laughed nervously " There I go again, I just can't help it sir. I like cleaning that's why" She said and he sighed. " Isabel Desmond" He called and she stopped laughing. " Yes sir" She answered. " Do you want to lose your job?" He asked her. " No, Of course not sir" She said and he stood up from the chair. " This is the fifth time this month. Can't you just pretend like you don't exist in this Hotel? You are always giving me an headache Isabel. Do you know that I always pray before leaving home not to bump in to you at work? The last time , you poured Water on the floor making me fell and you said it was an Accident." He sighed.

" I can't stay here with you, I don't know what next you would do to me. Now get back to work" He said pointing to the door. " Yes sir, I'm sorry Sir" She said and left the room. " Oh Come on, why today of all days" She stamped her feet on the floor After closing the door. " Lana!" She made a fist and Hurried away in search of Lana. " Lana!" She yelled her name and it echoed inside the Hotel. No one has to ask who it was as they already knew it was Isabel.

" That Girl again, what should I do with her? I'm only keeping her here because of her Baby, I hope she finds the father soon and leave my Hotel. She's always causing troubles everywhere she goes" The manager was still talking when he heard Isabel's footsteps chasing someone. " And that would be her best friend Lana, her partner in crime" He closed the book he was holding and Closed his eyes. " I'll read when they are done"

" You ditched me" Isabel said After grabbing Lana outside the hotel. " No I didn't, I was only saving myself from getting fired" She defended. " But why did you ran and left me there? I almost got fired" Isabel Sighed Loudly. " Did you check the Book?" Lana asked sitting beside Isabel on the block Bench. " No, He is still there but I won't give up. I Really Need to know where he lives" Lana sighed, she held Isabel's hand and tapped it softly. " Everything will be fine Isabel" She said. " I hope so. What's The time?" She asked and Lana checked her wristwatch. " It's 1:30 pm" Isabel quickly stood up.

" Oh what was I thinking? I was suppose to pick her up at 1:20pm" She said adjusting her Dress. " You are late, Get ready to be nag on" Lana said And Isabel sighed. " I'll see you tomorrow girl, Bye" She hurried inside the hotel, Changed in to a long pants and a t-shirt and left the hotel carrying her bag on her back. She Slowed down a Taxi and Hoped in tying her hair in a pony with a ribbon.

Few minutes later, Isabel arrived at a Remote area. She alighted in front of a building with an inscription " A PENNY DAY CARE" She Greeted the security man and hurried inside the Building.

" What took you so long to come here?" The matron asked, she was looking so angry holding Kiara on her right arm.
