Chapter One

Its another monday morning.. aghhh..i hate monday its always exhausting and annoying because am the head of my department so every monday we have to give a report on last week sales report and create a new sales schedule,well it isn't a big department just that its has always been my dream to be a saleswom...

"Ma,the meeting is going to start in five minutes"Zoe my assistant said interrupting my thought

"OK hope all the document have been printed out and of course get a coffee with a teaspoon sugar and little milk"I said sounding professional

"Yes ma"

Well you probably would be wondering what i need a coffee for,well its for my annoying CEO Mr Adams he's one hell of a boss sexy,annoying, arrogant i could go on and on but well I have a meeting to attend

**Meeting room**

As usual my assistant at the second seat followed by Mr Ruel Adams secretary and some other people who need to be present in this meeting"Zoe the coffee"

"Here it is ma"Zoe said handing the coffee

"Oh Mr Adams your coffee"I said

"Thanks miss ..."Adams said trying to remember her name

It always happen he never gets my name even if I tell him ,so annoying right"its miss Bella sir"I tried saying with a cool voice

"OK let's get started"Mr Adams said

Well you must be guessing what kind of company I work in well its a food production company well actually the best food production company across the country and guess my department is one of the important part in this company,the sales department we deal with the sale of the products and as well chat with the customers so ...

"May we begin"Mr yang said

"So last week the sales of the avocado sauce was high I guess the advertisement paid off and for the rice packs the sales of it was kind of poor one of the customers complained of stones she actually posted it but i reported it to Mr yang so it was sorted out but still the sales was loss we hope on something new this week"I said waiting for Mr Adams respond

"So well apart from the rice packs no complains on stock so that good Mr drex would you handle that situation and get back to me"Mr Adams said leaving

Well I didn't expected this meeting to end soon ,"so let's get to work everybody"I said with an air of authority I loved my job

"And miss .... Just forget the name see me in my office"

Well he forgot my name again I should probably get used to this

Am knocking just in case , have heard rumors that if you don't knock before entering the office you get to watch live porn and get fired too well i don't want both so am knocking my hands out"may i come in"I said as i was knocking

"Yes do you mind explaining this document"

"Which document Is this"

"The finance department sent me this request in your name so do you mind explaining"

I almost forgot my predicament for some minutes my mom is in the hospital now because of cancer of the lungs and if I don't get the surgery money in a month time my mom is going to die .Have been spending a lot on her bill and I can't save enough for the surgery so my best friend suggested i took a loan from my company ,now how am i going to explain this to him now.

"Well the thing is that I.need the money for my moms surgery "I said finally

Her eyes were pleading with me for some absurd reason i felt my heart melt"so how are you going to pay the company back"he said staring at me directly

"Well salary cut every month at least 75% of my salary ,and calculating it will take six months to pay it out"

"I see someone calculated everything already"

"Sir please I really need this money my mom is all I got please I don't care if you take my salary by 100% as long as it saves my mom"I said fighting my tears I hate people seeing the weak bella but I was at the verge of breaking down

"NO we can't give the loan but.."he finally said after some seconds of silence between us

What I felt like all my hopes are gone ,I felt like strangling this man.

"What a heartless man you are, I knew you were heartless but I just tried to prove myself wrong I guess I was stupid well ,thank you Mr Adam I will take my leave now"I said running out of the office to probably hide my tears

The hurt in her voice was clearly visible ,I didn't mean it that way I just want to help her but I chased her out, wow nice one there adams.

"Wow Adams Guman you took this your playboy stuff really serious even in the office with a staff or do you have another explanation for that"Mrs Guman said clapping

"Mom is not what you think"Adams said trying to explain

"Then what is it a girl crying out of your office definitely means two things "

"Which is"Adam said raising his eyebrows

"One maybe you fired her"

"No its not that...."

"Then you screwed her in your office and told her to get out ,like the typical Adam would right"Mrs Guman said interrupting Adam

"Wow its not that either"I said smirking

"Adam this your behavior is getting me sick my son is labelled the most successful billionaire ,the youngest CEO and do you know what I hate seeing on the tabloid "she said shouting

Thank God my office is soundproof.

"That my son is a playboy , jumping from one girls to another do you know how heartbreaking I feel"she said crying

"She's my girlfriend".

Chapter two

My mom just stared at me I know she is probably shocked am shocked by myself as well I never really call any girl my girl friend i call them my slut.

"You are not joking are you"my mom said.

"No mom why would i joke on something like that ,besides i was planning on telling you later but i guess you just found out so hurrah I have a girlfriend"Adams said the last part like a baby

"So you are telling me you and ..."

"Her name is Christabella mom ,bella for short and yes for two months now"

Am a really good actor bravo .

"Why did she run out of your office like that"she said with a questioning gaze

I didn't think of that part, well am screwed.

"Oh well u hmm the thing is that ..."adams said scratching his head awkwardly

"Did you guys quarrel"she said shouting

"Yes we quarreled ,the thing is that she is a softie its nothing serious"

"Are you sure do you need me to talk to her "

"No.mom am a man now for Gods sake ,don't worry she's my baby just a few kisses will work it out".

"Am not leaving till you guys settle things out in my presence"

This isn't going as planned i swear.

"OK let me go get her "

"Will be waiting"she said smiling

How am i going to convince Bella to follow me now, well I knew her name all while I just liked seeing her pissed off face.

"Hey you do you know if Bella is at her office"Adams asked Zoe

"she said she wanted some fresh air I guess she would be at the rooftop"

"OK continue with your work"

"Ok sir"she said bowing showing me her breasts

All this workers don't seem to change am so tired of firing them but well you know it is what it is.

"Hey you come here"Adams said pissed off

"Ok sir "she said still reveling her body her walking out sexily towards me

"Do you think even if you are naked I will still want to have sex with you now pack your things and leave this building. YOU ARE FIRED.he said going to his office

I came back from the rooftop after crying my eyes out I really hate that man if he wasn't my boss he would been long dead hmmpmh "_what's all this commotion"i asked Zoe

"I don't care what you did but am definitely not letting you get fire you have been my assistant for three years and it would be hard to replace you "I said calmly

That's it am going to march to his office and give him a price of my mind.

I didn't even notice a third party in the room I just barged inside the office "hey Mr Adams you have no right to fire my assistant for whatever reason "I said shouting.

"hmm I think i will excuse you guys to settle your difference's"Mrs Guman said smiling.

"Oh my God am sorry I didn't notice you were in the office am sorry Mrs Guman"Bella said apologetically.

"Oh its no big deal couples get to quarrel all the time and i know my son here is an asshole so please forgive him".

"Forgive him ...I looked at Adam then back at Mrs Guman (she's just smiling) is this a joke or something somebody pinch me"Bella said fanning herself

Now I know its going to be a long talk.

"Yea mom you need to go now we can handle everything by ourselves right Bella "Adams said giving her a sign to act along.

"Sure ma we would settle it"I said still trying to think why his mom think we are a couple.

"Thanks bella you just made me the happiest mom today by the way when are you coming home for dinner ,I mean the both of you"she said holding my hands.

"Well it depends on Mr Adams "I managed to say.

"Ok then its a deal this Sunday am having a buffet why not the both of you come well you guys can pretend its a date"she said like a baby asking for candy

Its' been long I have seen my mom this excited ,each time she smiles it gladdens my heart and I will make sure it lasts .

"Well mom sure we'll come but you really have to keep this a secret from the media for now my love doesn't like the media's attention especially on our relationship"I said noticing when i said the love she smiles

"ok I will be going now,bye Christabella"she said hugging her

Have not heard that name for a long time only my mom calls me that I felt my heart beat a little bit faster for some seconds as if she felt it she drew me back and looks into my eyes and smile I felt reassured ,she left.

If eyes could kill I would have been dead by now because Bella is staring at me so bad I clear my throat so hard to get her attention

"So Bella what can i offer you while you cool down your nerve...

"Looks like somebody now remembers my name "she said sitting down

I don't even know where to start right now tell her to marry me we'll that would be nice but this warrior would probably kill me before the wedding day ,what a weird

"Before you start talking now, my assistant isn't getting fired "

"Do you want to know what she did"

"No ,but I Know you caused it am I lying "

"its almost lunch time enough of whining. Am hungry let's go eat then we talk"he said arranging his tie and suit.

Chapter three

I just stared at Adams ,he looked cool when his mother is around but he tries to act bossy when she's gone i could see the bond they have.But I don't still understand why his mom thinks we are a couple and this asshole isn't explaining i sure hate Mondays.

"No sir not leaving this office till you explain why your mom thinks am your girlfriend " I said getting pissed off

"I can't explain that on an empty stomach miss bella , if you don't mind I will take my leave now you can wait in the office if you want"he said leaving me in the office

"And he is so rude he thinks everybody adores him (they adore him)well I don't care he has to explain to me am not leaving this office"he said my stomach suddenly grumbles

I remembered that I didn't eat anything in the morning i quickly stood up and left the office only to bumb into Zoe begging Mr Adams at the front of his private elevator I tried eavesdropping.

"I didn't mean it that way sir,am sorry it will never happen again"Zoe said with tears streaming down her eyes

"You were trying to seduce me in the office ,you didn't read the work ethics did you "he said smirking

"I read it sir am sorry"

"Well your boss already begged for you but if it repeats itself it would not only be firing "he said glaring at her

I didn't ask him what she did before but doesn't he like sleeping with girls why is he annoyed

*cafeteria*

"Hi miss what will you be taking today"mrs aurora asked me with her usual cheerful face

"Just turkey burger and a milkshake will do"I said

"are you sick dear"she asked me with curiosity

"No I just don't have enough appetite today "I said

I usually eat a lot but I don't get fat its my superpower .I no she was wondering why I just ordered for just burger well my mood affected my appetite I guess.

"Mrs thank you very much this work is my only source of income ,my brother just entered college..."She said kneeling and thanking me

"Just do you job well and don't do what you did again it will be bad for you if you go fired for doing that you know"

"I won't do it again ,I didn't know he was your boyfriend am sorry "she said bowing her head at the last part

"Wait what did you say ..my boyfriend wait you must be mistaken who told you his my boyfriend"I said in shock

"He told me himself am sorry I won't tell anyone"she said

"uhmm ..just ask the customer service for feedback on new products and also give Mr yang these document then photocopy all the document for the end of the week meeting"I said trying to take my mind off what she just said

"Yes ma"

"I will be right back"I said

Am definitely going to kill someone ,how could he go around telling people am his girlfriend first his mother now Zoe this man is definitely up to something .

"you can come in"

"Sir I don't know what your intentions are,telling people am your girlfriend"i said immediately I entered the office

"I was expecting you ,so have your seat let's talk business"he said not minding what I just said

"So ..."I said raising my eyebrows

"This situation will benefit the both of is I know you don't like me and i don't like you either so let's take it like these ,first of all they will be no love interest among us "he said staring at me

I tried not to get lost in his amazing eyes."so its leading us to"I said even more confused

"Well you need money right now to save your mom and I need you to.make my mother Happy"he said resting back in his seat.

"Meaning ..can you explain a little bit I don't understand."

"you need money for your mothers surgery so i will give you all you have to do is pretend to be my girlfriend in front of my mother then after one month we end it and I tell my mother you broke my heart blah blah blah "he said

This is weird ."so I have to act pretend in front of your mother and also you will give me the money for my mom's surgery ."I said still unsure of what I just heard

"Yes ,so are you in"

"I don't even know how to act ,and what will happen when we break up won't your mom bet angry at me if possible hate me "I asked him

"I have everything sorted out I will transfer you to head our branch in Singapore as well as an apartment and every other thing you need "He said like a genius

"So you have every thing sorted out i see"

"Yes even I contract so that we keep to eachother part ofthe promise "he said bringing out a document

"well you don't expect me to sign right away I will have to think through you know"she said

"Ok I give you three day to reflect on it you know my mother is expecting us on Sunday thats in four days time so think fast about it"he said

"Why are you doing all of this am probably the one going to benefit more from this contract you know"

"Well the same way you want.to see your mother always Happy so do i my mom is also the only person i have left just as you said and I will do anything to always see her Happy"he said looking at me.

Well I didn't expect him to be this emotional I always saw him as an arrogant and annoying person but today he proved me wrong.

"Well I will take my leave then "isaid standing up

"Ok thanks for helping me out today"he said

Adams saying thank you.
