Chapter 1 1. I must get divorced!

AT THE SAME TIME

AT ISABELLA'S POV:

My eyelids fluttered open, and the world around me slowly became focused. I blinked a few times, adjusting to the soft, golden light filtering through the heavy velvet drapes. My head felt a bit foggy as if I had been in a deep sleep for years. The silk sheets slid down to my waist as I sat up, revealing an intricate nightgown I had never seen before. Where am I?

"This isn't my bedroom," I murmured, rubbing my eyes.

Suddenly, the heavy oak door creaked open, and a young woman in a simple, yet elegant dress entered the room, carrying a tray of steaming tea and pastries.

"Good morning, Lady Isabella." She said with a warm smile, setting the tray on a small table beside the bed.

"Lady Isabella?" I asked, frowning.

"Oh, my apologies, my lady. I assumed you were aware. The royal family has been expecting your arrival."Maid said.

"But... I don't understand. How did I get here? And who are you?"I asked.

"My name is Melissa, my lady. I'm your attendant. The King and Queen will explain everything when you're ready to meet them. For now, please, enjoy your breakfast and take your time."Melissa said.

"Thank you, Melissa."I said.

She bowed gracefully and left the room, closing the door behind her. I picked up the delicate teacup, the warm porcelain comforting in my hands. As I sipped the fragrant tea, I tried to make sense of everything.

A castle. Royalty. It felt like I had stepped into the pages of a fantasy novel. Part of me was frightened, but another part was undeniably thrilled. I was inside the novel that was for sure. Soon I was led through the ornate corridors of the castle, my heart pounded in my chest. Melissa stopped in front of a pair of massive doors, which opened slowly to reveal a magnificent throne room. At the far end, King William and Queen Clara sat regally upon their thrones, their presence commanding and elegant. The king, with his silver hair and stern gaze, exuded authority, while the queen, with her gentle smile and warm eyes, radiated kindness.

"Your Majesties," I greeted them.

"Welcome, Lady Isabella." King Villiam said. We are pleased to finally meet you."

"We hope your journey here was not too distressing."Clara said.

"Thank you, Your Majesties."I replied. "I'm... still trying to understand everything."

"You are here because you are destined to be the mate of our son, Prince Noah."King said.

I remember hearing that name from somewhere.

"Mate? But... I don't even know him."I said.

"You will have time to get to know each other."Queen Clara assured me."The bond between mates is a powerful one, forged by destiny."

Just then, the doors opened again, and a tall, handsome young man walked into the room. His silver hair fell in waves around his face, and his eyes were a piercing blue.

"Noah." King Villiam said."This is Lady Isabella."

Noah's eyes met mine, and for a moment, I thought I saw a flicker of recognition or was it annoyance? He nodded a bit.

"Lady Isabella."He said, his voice cool and distant.

I saw how the royal couple left the room. As the king and queen left the room, Noah turned to me, his expression hardening and getting more cold.

"I'm going to be straight with you, Isabella." He said, crossing his arms. "I have no intention of marrying you. I don't believe in this destiny nonsense."

Now I recognized him. I was inside the novel. 'How to train a future king.' I was Isabella Brown, a woman who got taken inside by the royal family and killed by his TRUE love.

"So." I began, trying to ease the tension. "What are these plans of yours that don't include marriage?"I asked.

"I want to travel, explore the different realms. Learn more about the world beyond this kingdom. There's so much out there, and I don't want to be stuck here, living by someone else's rules."Noah said.

"I can relate to that. I never imagined ending up in a place like this, with people expecting me to fulfill some prophecy."I said.

He looked at me then, a spark of interest in his eyes. "What about you? What did you want before all this?"Noah asked.

"I had my own dreams. I wanted to pursue my own path, find out who I am without all these expectations."I said.

In a bit Melissa led me back to my room, her footsteps echoing softly on the marble floors.

"Is there anything else you need, Lady Isabella?" Melissa asked as she opened the door to my room.

"No, thank you, Melissa and call me Isabella." I replied, giving her a small smile. "I think I just need some rest."

"If you need anything, please don't hesitate to call for me."Melissa said and left.

I walked over to the window and looked out at the vast, moonlit gardens below. The castle was perched on a hill, surrounded by dense forests that seemed to stretch on forever. I had to find a way to leave, but it wouldn't be easy. The castle was heavily guarded, and the terrain around it was unfamiliar and potentially dangerous. I needed a plan a solid, foolproof plan. In a drawer, I found a small dagger, probably more decorative than functional, but it was better than nothing.

Just then, a soft knock on the door startled me. I quickly hid the parchment in a drawer and opened the door to find Elara standing there, a concerned look on her face.

"Is everything all right, my lady?" She asked.

"Yes, everything's fine."I said, forcing a smile.

"Good to hear. I hope soon Prince Noah will like you. You his future queen and Luna after all."Melissa said.

"If you say so."I said.

I needed to find a way to get rejected by him before the Alpha and Luna ceremony and before SHE appeared in the picture. I knew that I didn't have much time but I had to do everything I could to survive.

Chapter 2 2.Poor looking dress to less impress

THE NEXT DAY

AT ISABELLA'S POV:

Melissa told me that today is Prince's Noah 25th birthday and everyone is gathering in the ballroom. I think I got one of the ways to make him want to reject me more quickly. I know in the novel soon be a cold-hearted tyrant and I need to escape before it happens. One of the ways is poor looking dress. I am sure etiquette is important here, so let's try that too.

"You'll need the dress. I called designer he be here soon."Melissa said.

"Great."I said.

As soon as I saw a designer I understood that it was time to put my plan into action. Noah seemed like a guy who cared about rules the most. I needed to find a way to irritate him long enough so he would just reject me. I know that his parents are not going to allow him to do that easily. I need to get my reputation low enough to get it happen.

"You must be Isabella."A man said.

"I am."I said.

"I have brought you the finest gowns from the royal collection. You must look the part of a future princess!"He said.

He held up the first dress, a deep blue gown adorned with silver embroidery and shimmering gemstones.

"This one brings out your eyes, my lady. He said, his eyes shining with pride.

"It's beautiful, but maybe something a bit simpler?"I asked.

He raised an eyebrow, slightly taken aback, but nodded and presented another dress, a vibrant red with gold accents and a plunging neckline.

"This one will make you the center of attention at any royal event."He said.

I shook my head, trying to be diplomatic. All these dresses are 100 percent against my plan.

"It's lovely, but do you have something more... modest?"I asked again.

The designer hesitated for a moment, then pulled out a plain, dress from the back of the rack. It was simple and unadorned, with a practical cut and a belt at the waist.

"This one is not typical of what a lady would wear, but it's comfortable and easy to move in."A designer said.

"That's perfect. I'll take this one."I said.

He looked surprised but quickly recovered, smiling as he handed me the dress.

"Very well, Lady Isabella. If that is your wish."He said.

"I take few jevelery pieces."I said.

"Of course."He said and handed me a suitable pieces of jewelry.

As he left, I felt a sense of satisfaction. This dress would help me blend in and move more freely just what I needed in my plan. As soon as I reached the ballroom I saw everyone looks towards me. As I entered the grand hall in my plain dress, the soft murmur of conversation quieted for a moment before resuming, louder this time. I could feel the eyes of the nobles and courtiers upon me, their expressions a mixture of surprise and disapproval.

"Is that Lady Isabella?" Whispered a woman to her companion, her voice carrying just enough for me to hear.

"She looks more like a servant than a future princess."

"It's an insult to the royal family. How can she present herself in such a manner?"Another man said.

I caught sight of Noah, who was leaning against a column with his arms crossed. He glanced at me and raised an eyebrow, a smirk playing on his lips.

"Making quite a statement, aren't you, Isabella?"Noah asked.

I held my head high, refusing to be intimidated.

"I'd rather be comfortable than suffocate by yards of fabric and jewels."I said.

Noah chuckled, his eyes glinting with amusement. Laughing was something I did not expect to hear from him.

"You might just shake up this stuffy old place yet."Noah said.

As I made my way further into the ballroom, the whispers grew louder. A group of elegantly dressed women cast disdainful glances in my direction.

"She's not even trying to fit in."One of them scoffed.

"How could she ever hope to be a princess looking like that?" Another chimed in, her eyes narrowing as she looked me up and down.

I glanced toward the thrones where King Villiam and Queen Clara were seated, their expressions stern and disapproving. The queen leaned over and whispered something to the king, who nodded, his gaze fixed firmly on me.

"Your Majesties." I greeted them, trying to keep my voice steady.

King Villiam's eyes were cold as he spoke.

"Lady Isabella, we had hoped you would understand the importance of appearance in our court. It is not just about you; it reflects on the entire kingdom."Villiam said.

"We understand this is all new to you, but the expectations here are different. We want you to feel welcome, but also to embrace your role."Clara said.

"I apologize if I have offended you, Your Majesties. It was not my intention."I said.

As I turned to leave, I caught sight of Noah again, his expression unreadable. He gave me a small nod as I left. Leaving the ballroom, I felt a wave of relief wash over me. The cool night air greeted me as I stepped out onto a balcony overlooking the gardens. I need to keep going, the start was good.

"It seems that you really trying escape it, but I not letting you go so easily."I heard Noah voice.

"I thought you wish to reject me as soon as possible."I said with a surprised tone.

"It seems that my plan have changed 'darling'."He said and walked off.

I looked at him surprised. What just happened?

Chapter 3 3.Why are you always so late

IN A FEW DAYS

AT ISABELLA'S POV:

I decided that the garden would be my hidden spot, at least for the afternoon. The thought of standing in another crowded hall, enduring the whispers and judgmental stares of the nobility, was too much. Instead, I slipped away quietly, finding solace among the fragrant blooms and the soft leaves rustling in the breeze. I needed time to think, to gather my thoughts and to figure out my next move. By the time I reached the castle, the event was well underway. I could hear the music and laughter spilling out into the night air as I entered the grand hall, trying to appear as if nothing was amiss. Noah was waiting for me near the entrance, his arms crossed. He was angry.

"Where have you been?" He demanded, his voice low but seething with anger. "Everyone's been looking for you."

"I was in the garden."I replied, trying to keep my voice calm.

"Do you have any idea how that looks? You can't just disappear whenever you feel like it. This isn't just about you, Isabella. It's about the entire kingdom."Noah said mad.

"I'm aware of that." I snapped back."But I can't just pretend everything is fine when it's not. I'm trying to find my place here, and it's not easy."

"I get it. This isn't easy for either of us. But if we're going to make this work, we need to at least try to play by their rules."Noah said."I need you near me if we want get this act to work."

"I know. I'll try to do better. But you have to understand I need space to figure things out."I said.

"All right. But next time, just let someone know where you're going. It'll save us all a lot of trouble."Noah said.

"Deal." I agreed, a small smile tugging at the corners of my lips.

He walked off, leaving me standing alone in the hallway, my face flushed with a mix of embarrassment and anger. As he disappeared into the crowd, I noticed him heading toward where his parents stood, watching the room. Feeling curious and suspicious, I moved closer to overhear their conversation.

"Where has she been?" King Villiam asked.

"In the garden." Noah replied, his voice clipped. "She didn't bother to tell anyone."

"Noah, you need to manage this better. The kingdom expects a certain level of decorum from its future leaders."Clara said."

"Then let her not be my Luna. I want someone better not a woman like her. She doesn't seem to care about the consequences of her actions."Noah said.

As I watched the exchange, I felt a pang of guilt. I hadn't realized the pressure Noah was under, the expectations placed on his shoulders. I not going to make them to make me obey their stupid rules.

The next day I spent my free time gathering needed information. I needed to leave before she appeared. In the novel, it should happen soon so I need to hurry up. I was late enough but now I honestly don't care.

"Do you have a library around here?"I asked.

"We do have a library."Maid said.

"Can I see it?"I asked.

"Of course."She said.

I nodded and followed her to the library. I was sure that it going to take a while to find the information. I need to find a way to get away from Noah before something bad is going to happen. Soon I found the needed book. The cover was worn, its edges frayed from years of use, but the title intrigued me 'The Runaway Bride of Eldoria'. It was a tale of rebellion, of a woman who dared to defy tradition and expectations to claim her freedom. As I turned the pages, the story unfolded before me a young noblewoman named Elara betrothed to a man she neither loved nor respected. She had been groomed her entire life to be the perfect wife, to fulfill her duty to her family and kingdom. But as the day of the wedding approached, something inside her rebelled. The letter was her final act of defiance, a declaration that she would not be controlled by the expectations of others. I could feel my heart quicken as I read her words.

'To those who would see me bound to a fate I did not choose it. I will not be caged. I will not surrender my soul to a life empty of love and passion. I choose freedom, and I choose myself. I have made my decision, and I will stand by it, no matter the cost.'

As I read most of the book I felt really happy. In her story, I found the resolve I had been searching for.

"It seems that I have found the needed plan."I muttered.

As soon as I was done I saw Noah. He seemed to be annoyed about something. I am not surprised about it. It's something I noticed pretty usual about him.

"Noah."I said.

"Little omega."Noah said.

"What do you mean by 'omega'?"I asked.

"Of course, you don't know. You got summoned here. There are specific second ranks we are born with. I am alpha it means I am highest rank. You are omega."Noah said.

"It makes sense."I said.

I remember reading it in the novel. I am sure that Noah is waiting for this too.

"Reject me, alpha."I said

"Not so fast little omega."Noah said and laughed.

"Why not?"I asked.

"My parents won't let you and I not planning to do it anytime soon."Noah said.

"It's clear that you don't want me."I said.

"It seems that you still don't understand. I not letting you leave Isabella."Noah said and left.

I sighed and left the room. I need to find a way to escape him one way or another.
