I'm Allegra De Luca. I'm twenty, and I met Santino last month. He was my first and every second of what we had was electric and addicting.
I entered the bathtub, the smell of petals filled the air. I sank inside the bathtub exposing only my head. I knew this wouldn't end well.
I promised to stop this escapade but I found myself craving for him everyday and I still fell back at his call every time.
He was good and attractive too but I'm not sure he's ready to settle, especially not with a college girl like me.
The door knob turned, Santino entered. "Why are you here?" I raised a brow. He was bare-chested, and his abs were on full display.
A deadly and seductive smile curled on his lips, he moved closer to me and bent down "I'll make you call for help" his voice was seductive, Feeling of warmth washed over me.
My breath caught in my throat as my body betrayed my better judgment again. I bit my lips to prevent myself from moaning.
"Why? I still have to go to my hostel, my bestie would be worried" I smiled. I've been in this hotel room with Santino for over five hours and I know Fiorella, my bestie ,must be losing her mind now.
"Why? You don't want me?" His deep and husky voice shut out my sense of reasoning. How could a man be this attractive and yet sexy at the same time.
I closed my eyes and his tongue savoured my earlobe. He got up suddenly, "I'll drop you off," he smiled. Relief washed over me, I have to start crafting lies to tell Fiorella.
I walked out of the bathtub without washing myself up properly. I met Santino fully dressed.
"You could have waited..."
"Shhh..." he gestured, indicating he was on a call.
I kept quiet and simply wore my dress in silence and waited for him to finish. When he finished, he turned to me and smiled.
"I was on a call, I'm sorry" he said softly.
"It's fine" I faked a smile. He moved closer to me, lifting my chin "look at me" he muttered.
"You're my baby, okay? And there's no one else but you in my life, okay?" he declared.
The more he tried to comfort me, the more uneasy I felt. It was supposed to be a good feeling but it wasn't to me.
I smiled bitterly, I'll stop seeing him before I get hurt.
"Let's go," he stretched his hand, I accepted it and we walked out of the hotel room together.
"Do you want to shop for some school essentials together?" He asked as we reached the parking lot.
I simply ignored him and slid into his car slamming the door.
He got in and reached for my hand,"What do you want?".
I didn't know what I wanted honestly, my eyes welled up in tears. He pulled me closer.
"Don't cry baby girl, you have me" he consoled, I wiped my tears and fastened my seatbelt.
"Are you good now?" a trace of concern flashed across his eyes, my eyes welled up in tears again.
I feel emotionally attached to him, and seeing his ring the other time was making guilt eat me up.
I wouldn't be a mistress for any man, I couldn't ruin another woman's home.
I'll have to stop seeing him and this is the last time, I promised myself like many other times.
"I don't want us to see again" I muttered after a few minutes of silence, he pressed the accelerator. I almost hit my head on the dashboard.
"What?" I screamed angrily. "What did you say?" anger was evident in his eyes.
"I want us to stop this" I screamed, tears clouded my eyes and my sense of reasoning.
"I can introduce you to everyone as my woman" he said firmly and reached out for my hand. I accepted it. I didn't know why...but it was a means of support. At least I believed.
"I don't want to be your woman, this is wrong. You're married" my chest was moving up and down and I could not control myself again.
"I'm not married" he muttered, I was shocked, I've always seen him wearing a ring. Liar...he was lying to me.
"Stop lying" I yelled, almost losing it. I prayed he would get to my hostel quickly so I could just enter my room to rest.
"I don't lie" he frowned, "This ring belongs to someone special to me" he revealed. I clenched my fist.
"Can't I be the only? What if that special person comes back? Are you throwing me away?" I raised my voice. I was losing it.
"I will never leave you for this person" he chuckled.
"Who's this person? Your past lover? Your childhood friend or childhood lover?" My heart was about to burst from my chest.
This wasn't a good feeling, but I was losing it. That amused smile on his perfect face was enough to drive me insane.
"My daughter gave it to me for my birthday," he smiled, his fingers brushing the ring resting perfectly on his hand.
For a moment I couldn't breathe.
"Daughter?"
Daughter?
