Chapter 5 THE HUNT BEGINS

Emilia's heart racing, she followed Liam as he grabbed her hand and pulled her toward the car. They sped away from the secluded spot, the mysterious figure disappearing into the darkness. "Who was that?" Emilia asked, her voice shaking. Liam's grip on the steering wheel tightened. "Someone who wants to claim your family's legacy for themselves. They're powerful, and they'll stop at nothing." Emilia's mind reeled as she processed Liam's words. She felt like she was in over her head, but she was determined to uncover the truth.

As they drove through the streets, Liam explained more about her family's legacy and the supernatural forces at play. Emilia listened intently, her eyes wide with wonder and fear. Suddenly, Liam's phone buzzed.

He glanced at the screen, his expression darkening. "What is it?" Emilia asked, sensing trouble. Liam's voice was low and urgent. "We need to get out of here. Now." He took a sharp turn, and Emilia's heart skipped a beat as she saw a group of shadowy figures emerging from the darkness. "Who are they?" Emilia asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Liam's eyes locked on the rearview mirror. "The Order of the Red Hand. They're hunters, and they're after you." Emilia's breath caught in her throat as she realized the danger she was in. She felt a surge of adrenaline as Liam floored it, the car speeding through the streets.
