The leader of the gang stepped out of the lead car looking fierce and dashing, everyone looked scared with him around except for Liam. He was ready for a fight. No one is going to lay a finger on his friend again.
"Boss," they all said at once.
They had a unified formation with all their gaze facing the ground.
Viktor, AKA "The Viper" moved swiftly in their direction with a smirk on his lips. Every step he took echoed and Alicia feared for her life behind Liam.
How did she end up like this? She has always been a sweet girl with a simple life. All of a sudden, she had to face the biggest shock of her life and now, she is surrounded by a mysterious gang.
"What do you want from us?" Liam asked so fiercely just to level up to them. To hell with their intimidating aura, his goal is to protect Alicia and that is exactly what he is going to do even if it costs him his life.
"Easy there tiger," Viktor blew his cigarette into the air and bent to their level. He glanced at Alicia and let out a low growl. His hand reached for her chin but Liam yanked it off.
The gang took out their weapons and sneered at Liam but Viktor chuckled with a dark expression in his eyes.
"Who the fuck are you?!" Liam yelled into his face, his hot breath settled on Viktor and the Viper looked away, blowing the smoke from his cigarette into the chilly breeze.
"Who am I, huh?!" He chuckled. His dark eyes settled on Alicia and he smirked even more. "It's good to see you Alicia Evergreen. Let me guess, that bitch tried to kill you? I can see you finally know the bloody truth."
"Huh?!" She fluttered her eyes around Liam, she looked confused.
What does the stranger know? What is happening?
"Get them in the car, we don't have time to waste," Viktor stood up and left without saying another word.
"Why should we go with you?" Liam asked. "How do we know that you are not here to abduct us? We are not going anywhere with you guys until we know what the hell is going on."
"Alright then," Butcher the second in command replied. "You can go back to your normal lives if you can survive it. The boss is not going to ask you again and I bet you know what that means."
"What does it mean?" Alicia asked faintly. Her strength was fading away and she leaned heavily against Liam's hand.
"Alicia!" Liam panicked and held her close to his broad chest. "You have to pull yourself together. I will get you to safety."
"How are you going to do that with Dylan looking everywhere for you? You have two choices and I hope you choose wisely, come with us and you will get the answers you so desire miss Alicia. Your future awaits you."
"I think we should go with them," she said to Liam softly. "We don't even have petrol to take us home. Who knows what those two would do to us if they find us?"
"How can you trust them? Can't you see they're bad people? I will not allow you to endanger yourself like that."
"We don't have a choice, you don't have to trust them but they're all we've got. I need to get treated and this is the only way."
Liam growled at the gang and dropped his gaze low, he clenched his fist and shook his head.
"Alright fine," he finally agreed.
"Good choice boy," Butcher nodded. "Get the beauty to safety," he ordered his men.
One of the gang members stepped forward and tried to carry Alicia but Liam gave him a dreadful look that made him step back.
"Tough guy, huh?!" Roberto chuckled.
He carried her by himself without letting anyone touch her. He still has his doubts about them but what choice does he have? Alicia needs the best care in the world right now and he can't offer her that. He was just a bartender who loved his bikes. What can he possibly offer Alicia?
"Thank you, Liam," she whispered into his ears and fell into a deep sleep.
All this time, Viktor watched them from his car and a smirk escaped his lips.

Dylan
"Damnit!" Dylan roared and slammed this fist against the wall inside the bedroom. "How can you let this happen? You shouldn't have stopped them when they knocked me out. Now I don't have the damn papers. How are we supposed to get the company now?"
"Don't you dare shout at me?!' Mary snapped at his audacity. "You don't have any idea what I had to go through to get this plan in motion. You screwed everything, Dylan. You were supposed to check with her before going under my damn skirt."
"Whatever!" He walked away and slammed his back against the sofa. "We just have to think about our next move."
Mary rushed to the bar stand and took out the strongest whiskey in her collection. "I feel like exploding at the moment. You know what, I know exactly what to do. Give me that damn phone. I have to put a call across to someone."
"And who the hell is that? Don't tell me it's that damn lawyer?"
"No," her eyes darkened in mischief. "I always have a plan B. Let's see how Alicia can stand against her very own twin sister who hates her so much."
Dylan's eyes widened in shock, "What the hell is going on here?! Did you lie about her death all this time?"
He just couldn't believe his ears, Dylan had to stand up from his seat and close the gap between him and his sugar mummy.
Mary giggled and pulled him closer to her seductive gaze. "News flash, this has been my game plan from the beginning. They might have thought that Alice is dead but she is very much alive. I knew this day would come and that damn Alicia would not give up the inheritance. Charlie willed the company to his daughters since they were born and unfortunately, everyone thinks that Alice is dead but now that she is back in the picture, I might as well use her to get whatever the hell I want. How dare Charlie kick me out of the picture? I deserve that fucking inheritance..."
How can a woman be this fierce? Shit she fucking turned him on.
"Why don't we celebrate this new development?" He slammed her back gently against the wall and kissed her collarbone.
"Naughty boy, come here," she pulled him closer and slapped his behind.
