Chapter 1 Infidelity

In One of the Cities in Indonesia in 1995....

Initially, Deni only chatted with Cindy while resting in one of the real estates they stopped at, over time they were seen hugging and kissing each other, of course that would cause passion that would end in intercourse. As normal humans of different sexes are in a place alone, that possibility could easily happen.

With only newspapers as a base on the ceramic floor of the building, Deni and Cindy released all their wild desires that had been held back, their clothes scattered everywhere, their appearance was messy when they managed to reach the peak of pleasure. With rather unsteady steps, the two of them left the building towards the car, then the car driven by Deni left the location of the luxury real estate building.

"Gosh...! What have they done? I thought Deni's relationship with Cindy was only between a superior and a subordinate, it turns out their relationship went that far. I have to report this to Dola," Riko muttered, having just secretly witnessed Deni and Cindy's affair in a room in a real estate building that was only 80% complete.

Riko rushed to the office not far from the real estate building area, because at that time there were no cellphones for communication, so Riko used the office phone to call Dola at her house via a landline.

"Kriiiiiing...... Kriiiiiiiiiiiing...!" Dola's landline phone rang, not long after a middle-aged woman came and answered the phone.

"Hello.. Good afternoon." The middle-aged woman greeted after picking up the phone that had just rang.

"Hello.. Good afternoon, is this Dola?" replied Riko.

"No, I'm Lastri, Mrs. Dola's maid. Who is this?" replied the middle-aged woman who turned out to be the maid at Dola's house.

"I'm Riko, Dola's friend, is Dola there Mrs. Lastri?" replied Riko while asking Dola.

"Yes, Mrs. is in her room. I'll call her in a moment!" said Mrs. Lastri.

"Okay, Ma'am," said Riko, then Mrs. Lastri walked to Dola's room after putting the house phone on the table.

"There's a call, Ma'am," said Mrs. Lastri from outside the room.

"From who?" replied Dola from inside the room.

"They said it was from a friend of Ma'am, his name is Riko." Mrs. Lastri answered.

"Oh, Riko. Okay, I'll answer the call from him," said Dola as she left the room and headed to the table where there was a telephone with the receiver placed by Mrs. Surti next to it.

"Hello.. Riko." greeted Dola.

"Hello too Dola." replied Riko who was still waiting on the phone line.

"How are you, Riko?" asked Dola.

"Okay, how are you?" Riko answered and asked back.

"Okay too, why don't you call me this afternoon? What's up?" asked Dola curiously.

"There's something important I want to tell you about your husband," answered Riko.

"What is it, Riko?" Dola became even more curious.

"I hope you don't get too emotional and can control yourself, because what I'm going to tell you is very unpleasant." Riko asked, suddenly feeling worried about what he was going to say.

"Just tell me, Riko! Whatever it is, I'll be fine, trust me!" Dola said.

"It's like this, Dola, I actually don't have the heart to tell you this. However, if I don't tell you, one day if you find out from someone else, you'll definitely blame me. Even though Deni is also my best friend, because what he just did was beyond the limit, I can't stay silent and have to report this to you." Riko said, but what he said was not clear, making Dola even more curious.

"Come on, Riko, just tell me what really happened?" Dola urged.

"Deni cheated on me and I just saw him having a crazy time with a woman in the real estate room..."

"What..?! Deni had a crazy time with a woman at his workplace? That's rude...!" Dola immediately cut off Riko's unfinished speech, this was because she was shocked and immediately furious.

"Calm down Dola..! You promised not to get too emotional hearing it," Riko calmed Dola who was inflamed with anger.

"How can I not get emotional hearing it? What you said is true, right?" Dola wanted to make sure what Riko said was true or not.

"Yes, it's true Dola, how could I lie, let alone joke about something as serious as this." Riko confirmed what he had said earlier.

"So now Deni is still with that woman?" Dola asked.

"Yes, they just left after coming out of the real estate room where they made love." Riko answered.

"Where did that bastard husband and that bitch go?!" Dola's tone sounded furious again.

"I don't know where they went, I didn't believe Deni would do something like that because that woman is his assistant who also works on a real estate project in this area." Riko answered.

"So that bitch is his assistant there? You're so insolent Deni..!" Dola cursed.

"Sorry Dola, I can't do much about this problem that's happening. I can only report to you everything I saw and what really happened, even though Deni is also my friend like you, but here I am also his subordinate in working on a real estate project in this area." said Riko.

"Yes, it's okay. What you did by telling me what Deni just did, it was enough to help me. Thank you, Riko." said Dola.

"Yes, you're welcome. I hope you can be patient and can find the best solution," hoped Riko.

"Yes Riko, I hope so." said Dola, then their conversation over the phone ended.

After ending the conversation and putting the phone in its place, Dola did not return to her room but sat leaning on the chair near the table.

"No wonder you are happy to work out there for a long time and only come home once a month or even once every three months, apparently you are playing crazy with your assistant! Damn you Deni..! I will repay all your actions...!" Dola spoke to herself, her tone clearly implying resentment...
