Chapter 2 The Great Planner

Deborah the wife of lappidoth was the great planner Memucan suggested for the king's upcoming great feast.

When king Xerxes heard that the great planner of Israel is on her way to Persia and was almost in Persia after a week, more anticipation and eagarness arouse in him.

The king called his servant and told them

" Get me the best attire, the finest gold and rings, the gold circlet crown and the best shoe of all because a great woman from Israel is coming to Persia ."

And the servant and got him the finest tailor in the land and he crafted the mest exquisite attire. He got the king a velvet cloak with intricate golden embroidery, representing the kingdom's rich history, a crisp white shirt with billowy sleeves, adorned with a thin golden stripe. The king wore a polished black shoe, adorned with a silver buckle shaped like the royal crest and glittering gold and jewel encrusted crown, symbolizing his sovereignty.

The king eagarly waited for Deborah the wife of lappidoth to arrive. As he settled into the throne, the king adjusted his crown ensuring it sat perfectly atop his head. He smoothed out the shirt making sure everything was in place.

A few moment later , Deborah the wife of lappidoth arrived at Persia. She came out of the palanquin majestically. She had been summoned by the king himself to discuss the upcoming great feast . She was greeted by the king's guards, who led her to the throne room.

The king in his royal attire welcomed Deborah warmly

"Deborah the wife of lappidoth."

"Yes, Your Majesty " she replied

" The great planner of Israel. I've heard great things about thou works. I trust you're prepared to make my feast a memorable one."

Deborah said with confidence in her abilities

" Your Majesty, I've studied the ancient traditions and customsof your kingdom. I've prepared a comprehensive planto ensure the feast is a grand success."

The king nodded " Tell me more ."

Deborah presented a plan before the king and his officials, detailing the menu , the finest wines, the freshest ingredients, entertainment and the most talented performers.

The king listened and was impressed by her great plans and confidence in her abilities.

As the meeting concluded , the king smiled

." You are really great as the people say you are".

" Yes, Your Majesty "

After the officials left the palace . Deborah and king Xerxes was in the palace and the king said to her

" I have heard you led the Israelites army in conquering king Jabin of Hazor of the Canaanites, indeed you are great and God is truly with you."

" The lord tricked Sisera , the army commander of king Jabin's army and He helped us to defeat them."

" The lord is truly with the people of israel."

" Your Majesty, if it pleases you invite the richest man in Israel, Solomon, to teach the people to get wealth and monopolize it. I have learnt that only few are wealthy in persia."

" Solomon you say, his he also not the wise man in Israel?"

" Yes, he is . Your Majesty. "

" The city of Israel is full great people."

" Indeed, Your majesty. Tell your seven highest officials to write a letter to Solomon. I will take my leave now. "

" I am sure that you will make this feast memorable. Why not stay here in the palace? There are many rooms in the palace".

" Your wish is my command Your Majesty."

One of the king's servant guided Deborah to one of the big room in the palace. The room was decorated with golds and the bed was very big. When she walked in, she looked up and saw a high ceiling with a colourful painting. The walls were white and had big windows with pretty curtains.

The floor was floor was made of shiny marble . Every part of the room told a story of the past. It felt like a special place where important things happened . On one corner, there was a nice wooden desk with a leather chair. A pretty vase with fresh flowers sat on a nearby table.

Deborah body was aching from a week-long journey. She had traveled far and wide, crossing rivers and mountains, to reach the palace.

Her eyes landed on the soft fluffy bed in the center of the room. It looked like a cloud, inviting her to sink into its depths. Deborah didn't hesitate, she collapsed onto the bed, feeling the softness, envelop her like a warm hug . The bed was like nothing she had ever slept on before. It was as if she was lying on a layer of gentle feathers, cradling her tired body. Deborah closed her eyes, feeling the weariness of the past week melt away.

Early in the morning the king has called his officials to write a letter to Solomon the richest man in Israel on his behalf inviting him to come and share his wisdom with the people of Persia and they did as the king has told them.

Dear Solomon,

I king Xerxes request the honor of your presence at the upcoming feast. Your remarkable wealth and business acumen have not gone unnoticed. I desire to learn from you and share your wisdom with my people. Come, teach us how you built your Fortune, that we may prosper like you.

Deborah the planner as already started decorating the palace , the walls were adorned with vibrant tapestries, depicting scenes of royal hunts and battles. The tables were set with fine linens, golden plates and sparkling glasses.

As the day of feast drew near, the palace was filled with an air of excitement and anticipation. The staffs worked tirelessly to ensure that every detail was perfect.

Days passed, and finally a reply arrived. Solomon's letter was filled with gratitude and humility.

Dear King Xerxes,

I am honored by your invitation and grateful for your kind words. I would be delighted to attend your feast and share my story. I will gladly share my insights, but I pray that your subject as well also seek wisdom from above.
