Chapter 5 CHAPTER 2 - THE LYCAN KING

"Get out of my face, you idiot! And get the work done!" I screamed at the foolish werewolf in front of me. I hated werewolves with every iota of strength in me, but that was not even the reason for my anger.

The stupid werewolf scrambled out of my sight, possibly in search of a cover or to get my work done. My primary goal was to reign over all werewolves around the world and get them to bow, and if they didn't they would bear the brunt.

Every hindrance in my way, I do not take very well. I didn't condone mistakes nor do I take betrayals well. I also didn't believe in coincidences. I was a perfectionist too.

"The roaring Lion!" My sister said as soon as she barged into my office.

"Lucy, go back outside and knock before you enter," I said to her sternly.

She looked at me like I was speaking Greek before she sat on the chair before me.

"I met this guy, running like his life depended on it, running out of here." She said, "I'm guessing you had everything to do with it."

I did have everything to do with it, and his life had really depended on what he had done, but my sister was going to sit there in my silence for a long time.

"Are you really going to give me a silent treatment because I didn't obey you?" She asked

I wondered why she was surprised. Everyone had to do everything I ruled out, including myself.

My phone rang, it was Lance, my beta and close friend, "We caught some rogue, and members of werewolf packs at the border and..."

I didn't know why he called me every time, when he knew exactly what my answer would be, "Kill them all."

I hung up on him before he began soliciting for someone he felt would do well for us.

"Why are you doing this? You know you can't keep doing this." Lucy asked.

I resumed treating her with silence. I continued with my work, and she watched me do it. So far, she was silent, I was able to ignore her presence and get to work. She was as stubborn as I was, of course, if she wasn't stubborn she wouldn't be my sister.

A knock broke our trances, "Come in," I replied but I already knew who was there, it was my sister's husband, my Gamma, Knox.

His face softened at the sight of his wife before turning his attention back to me
