Chapter 7 Kidnapped

Emily broke anything breakable in her hotel room. She was losing it.

She finds it difficult to accept the fact that Jake is no longer in love with her.

"He betray my trust" she yelled angrily. She never considered the fact that she hurt him first.

Grandpa Sinclair dropped the document he was reading when his Butler entered. "I've checked about their progress", his Butler said.

"Arabella is not ready to accept me as her CEO" grandpa Sinclair laughed.

"She has all the right to deny you" his Butler said thoughtfully, but grandpa Sinclair had other plans.

"When I'm I meeting with her department", grandpa Sinclair asked.

He sent Arabella to the marketing and publicity department after he became CEO. He knew Arabella wasn't satisfied, but he wouldn't listen to her.

He brought Catherine to the position of the assistant CEO, but who would have thought this would be a problem in the future? Let's leave that for later.

Catherine was full of smiles when she saw Arabella's grumpiness. She was satisfied that it seemed heaven loved her and was in support of her.

Arabella walked out of her office and went to the conference room for a meeting with her grandfather. She can't put up with this anymore.

Catherine laughed loudly when she saw her " who would have thought the great Arabella Sinclair would lose her position", Catherine mocked.

"I didn't lose my position,I'll get it soon" Arabella declared, walking away. Catherine dropped her pen on the floor.

" Oh My God! Who'll pick my pen for me" she looked around, smiling wickedly. It's obvious Arabella is the one with the lowest rank among them.

"I'll pick it up" a young lady volunteered, but Catherine stopped her. "If you pick it up isn't that disrespectful to you", Catherine looked bothered.

"I don't mind" the lady smiled, but Catherine jerked her. " I said stop" she screamed at the top of her lungs, making the lady shiver.

"Arabella pick this up, I'm the assistant CEO", Catherine declared. Everyone was shocked, it was obvious Arabella was the heir of the company.

Some pitied Arabella for her misfortune while others were happily, silently. At least the rich heiress will bend to pick up a pen.

Grandpa Sinclair appeared on the scene. Arabella decided to complain, "She wants me to pick up a pen for her, isn't that absurd" Arabella faced her grandfather hoping he would support her.

"She's the assistant CEO, how dare you defile her offer" grandpa Sinclair yelled. Arabella shrieked, Catherine had a muggy smile on her face.

Arabella looked at her grandfather and Catherine, her eyes welling up in tears. Grandpa Sinclair looked away because he could not bear to see his baby in tears.

"I won't," Arabella declared decisively. Catherine moved closer to her, still smiling.

"Turn in your resignation letter then," she smiled happily. Her pay day is near. She's so happy.

Arabella bent to pick up the pen, Catherine moved closer and stepped in her hand. Arabella screamed in pain.

"Ohhh... I'm sorry I stepped on you" Catherine said, smiling. She walked away, leaving Arabella and the others.

Arabella looked at her grandfather, but he looked away and left her. She was sad. She sat down on the floor and wiped her tears.

She entered the conference room, all eyes were on her. She looked professional, wearing a pencil skirt and a white shirt. Her hair packed in a ponytail, her lips were red because of the lipstick used.

Catherine clenched her fist, when she entered no one noticed her, but everyone was admiring Arabella.

"You're late Arabella, how do you pay for it" Catherine asked. She just wanted to let out her frustrations.

"What?" Arabella was shocked. When she was the acting CEO, she never made things difficult for Catherine.

"Catherine, that's enough", grandpa Sinclair couldn't take it anymore. He can't see Catherine hurting his little princess.

"Why? Is it because she's your granddaughter? Will you speak up for a random worker" Catherine raised her voice, sounding more professional.

Some shareholders admired her uprightness and boldness. She dared question the CEO. Some workers were happy.

"I'll prepare tea for everyone as an apology" Arabella said quickly, so as not to make things difficult for her grandfather.

Grandpa Sinclair was grateful because he felt helpless towards Catherine.

Zoe Campbell stood beside her Mom at the hospital. "Zoe, I need to see Casey". She was in tears. She was shivering.

" I don't have Casey" she declared angrily. The park has been demolished and the city's airport has been built. Who would have a clue anymore?

"I can't survive, I need to see Casey" Mrs Campbell cried on her bed. Zoe was furious. Was she not enough for them?

"You want to die?" Zoe felt it was unbelievable. " Then go ahead I won't stop you" Zoe yelled at her mother on the sick bed.

The doctors were shocked to see the heiress speak to her mother in that manner. She has always cared for her Mom and never raised her voice at her.

Mrs Campbell was shocked beyond relief. She thought Zoe would hig her and cry with her.

"Yes, go ahead, I don't care. You neglected me all my life. I've never felt motherly love. Do you think I took care of you because I care? No, I was only being responsible", Zoe yelled.

Mrs Campbell held her chest in pain, the doctors tried to push Zoe out so as not to trigger Mrs Campbell.

" You left me when I needed your love the most" she screamed, almost losing her voice.

She wants the pain to go away. The nightmare has hunt her for days, and now she wants to be free.

After crying for a few minutes, she was finally calm. Mr Campbell entered the hospital when he heard his wife's condition had deteriorated.

He saw Zoe outside crying, he clenched his fist and went inside to see his wife.

She was crying on the bed. The nurses excused them to talk. "I can't continue to pretend anymore" she cried bitterly.

" You can't tell Zoe the truth", Mr Campbell was shocked. No, she mustn't reveal the truth.

"I have to find my son,I have to see him. You don't expect me to love her when I lost my son because of her", Mrs Campbell yelled angrily. She was in pain.

"She's innocent. She was just a child then", Mr Campbell tried to explain.

"Have I been too wicked? Did she really feel nothing for me? Have I really neglected her?" Mrs Campbell questioned herself.

Mr Campbell reclined on the chair lost in his thoughts. Zoe is innocent. She knew nothing about it. He's taking that secret till his last day. No one will know about it.

Zoe drove to opals garden. She went to the kitchen to prepare a meal for herself. She met James in the kitchen trying to prepare food.

"Are you allowed to use the kitchen" she folded her arms, standing like a military woman in front of James. She wanted to look stern and serious, but would she have thought she looked funny and cute at the same time?

"I'm preparing tea..." Zoe cut James short angrily. "For yourself" she was furious. James smiled and this made Zoe angrier.

She was angry, and she needed someone to turn her aggression on and James turned out to be her victim.

"You can laugh, right? Let's see if you'll be able to laugh after your miserable self has been dismissed from work", Zoe yelled, and took out her phone, trying Arabella's number.

James looked surprised, he thought Zoe was kidding and didn't take her seriously.

"Jake asked me to prepare him tea", he tried to explain, but Zoe left him and stormed to Jake's room.

Jake had just taken a bath and was on his towel. His upper body was exposed, Zoe burst in and was shocked and surprised at the time.

"I'm sorry". Zoe quickly apologized and turned to leave, but Jake called her back.

"I thought you came to tell me something" he stood right in front of Zoe. Zoe looked at his six exposed and strong body and gulped hard.

Jake smiled, and sat on his bed. "I'm your friend's husband", he smirked intentionally. Actually, he wanted to know if his body was seductive enough for Arabella. He'll go to her room that night.

But who would have thought of what would happen?

Zoe almost choked, is he really serious? "Do you think I'm attracted to you" Zoe ridiculed and moved closer to him. "You're not my type", she ran out of his room.

Jake smiled and went to his walk-in closet to dress up.

Arabella served grandpa Sinclair his tea first and served Catherine.

Catherine sipped the tea and flinched, pouring the hot tea on Arabella's body.

"Ouch" Arabella screamed in pain. She knelt down.

"How dare you" Catherine hit her hand on the table angrily. Everyone turned to her. Grandpa Sinclair was shocked.

"Don't you know I don't like my tea hot" Catherine questioned like she was talking to her personal maid.

"How I'm I supposed to know," Arabella replied angrily.

"What do you want to talk back at me" Catherine had a wicked smirk on her face. Arabella looked at grandpa Sinclair expecting him to say something, but he looked away.

Arabella ran out of the conference room in tears. She hates everyone.

Jake waited till 8pm, but Arabella didn't come back from the office. "What is the problem, James," he asked James. He had a worried look on his face.

James decided to say the truth, "Well, I think Catherine will be making things difficult for her in the office", James said.

He explained to Jake how Grandpa Sinclair gave Catherine the upper hand, and he told Jake Arabella's position in the company.

Jake clenched his fist in pain. He caused all this. He walked out of opals garden going to Sinclair's company.

Catherine sat on her floor in the toilet angrily. She can't be pregnant by this time. She needs the company and a pregnant woman can't become the CEO.

She got up and went to the bedroom to call her doctor. She must get rid of the baby before it's too late. She can't. She found herself in tears,"I'm sorry baby, mummy needs to become the CEO". She touched her flat tummy.

Emily went back to her apartment after perfecting her plan in her head. She set the camera making a live video with her fans.

"Hey fans, I'm at home right now, I'll show you round my house. I have a lot to say to you..." she was cut short when Mark burst in.

He was not aware of the video she was making, but Emily knew what she was doing. She planned everything perfectly. Jake must enter her house tonight and her plan with Mr Thompson will be done and perfect.

"Why are you here mark", she acted perfectly aware of her fans watching her video.

"You dare ask me what I'm doing?" Mark was drunk and blind. He laughed wickedly and moved closer to Emily, pulling her hair. She screamed in pain.

Little snow was starstruck when she opened the door, she was short of ways to help Emily who was screaming in pain.

Her fans were going crazy and boiling with anger.

Leave our queen alone,you're a coward for hurting our queen.

Someone should please help out the Queen

Can someone send her address to us? We need to save her.

Our queen needs to be treated with respect, but who's this man?

Emily is really pitiful and sad ....

Emily knows she has to endure for a while, some of her fans started calling the police.

Little snow could only think of Jake and dailed his number. He picked up angrily,

"What do you want?" he forced himself to be calm and answered her calmly.

"Mark is hurting Emily. Please can you help out" she pleaded. She was in tears.

"I need to find Arabella little snow" Jake declared.

"I know you're angry, but please save Emily, she might end up losing her life" little snow pleaded.

Jake stopped the car. He hung up and reclined on his seat. He couldn't let Emily die because of his personal grudge, but Arabella is helpless and needs support.

He dialed Evans' number. After three trials, Evans picked his call "can't I get a little rest" he was vexed.

"Emily is hurt and needs help" Jake said over the phone.

Evans sat up on his bed about to scold Jake, but Jake said "I need to go see Arabella, I have to be with her. So please help Emily out. Mark is hurting her" Jake said.

Arabella sat on the bench close to the playground. She was sad and down. She checked the time and got up. She needs to go home now.

She'll give her resignation letter to her grandfather tomorrow.

Jake was worried, he called Kelly. "Where's Arabella? He was straightforward.

Kelly was crying "I don't know, but I think she'll be at her parents' grave", Kelly says, sniffing.

"Where" Jake couldn't bear the pain. Kelly told him, and he drove away like a maniac. Other drivers spat out curses at him for his reckless driving.

Arabella stopped a taxi, "opals garden" she said to the driver, and entered absent-minded.

When the driver heard where she was going to, he knew immediately that she'd be a big shot. A lot of dangerous thoughts ran through his head.

Arabella was lost and did not notice the wickedness in the driver's look.

Jake drove to Arabella's parents' grave. It was quiet and looked cold and deserted. Seems no one has been here for years. He looked around but found no one.

Evans managed to prevent Mark from further hurting Emily. He sighed and looked at his friend who slumped on the floor sleeping.

Emily smirked, it seemed those guys she paid to add drugs to his drinks so he would be brutal did a perfect job.

Evans noticed her phone on the table and looked at Emily who was crying on the chair. "I was scared, he forced me to leave Jake", she cried.

Something clicked immediately, she's trying to get rid of Mark? Evans was shocked. What are her reasons?

Emily, not knowing Evans had discovered her lies, moved closer to him. "Tell them how Jake and I used to be" she nudged him, still shedding tears.

"He's married and has moved on. Move on too". Evans did not think about his reply.

Emily faced her fans. "Jake married Arabella because of his money, not caring about all I'm going through." She yelled.

Evans and little snow looked shocked. "He could not understand the pain I went through" Emily cried in front of her camera.

Jake is not a real man. How would he dump Emily.

Emily is so pitiful, and I'm her fan now.

I used to love Arabella, but who would have thought she was a third party?

Jake is the problem. He could have waited for Emily.

Her fans criticized Jake and Arabella brutally. Even passers-by felt Jake was wrong about dumping Emily.

"Call Jake, tell him all that's happening. Tell him we can go back to how we used to be", she said in tears.

"Are you being real?" Evans was shocked beyond relief. Little snow regretted calling someone to help Emily. She moved back in shock.

Arabella felt weird, this is not the road to opals garden. "I think you're mistaken, Sir, this is not the way to opals garden" she pleaded.

"You're in my hands now" the driver laughed. She noticed his two front teeth is missing. His finger nails were short, probably because he bit them too much.

Arabella looked back, she was scared. Is he a psycho?
