Chapter 4 Hide and seek

Fatima's POV

"I knew you would. There is a lot of sexual tension between you guys. Might as well become fuck buddies." I replied laughing. To be honest I was relieved.

"That is what you are worried about? Girl, you are hilarious," I continued. I took a look at her face and I understood what the issue was.

Oh my God. My dear Marilyn.

"You are in love with him. Awwnnn. Come here, my love." I pulled her in for a hug and we were both quiet for some minutes. I could read her mind and she was so nervous.

"I can't afford to fall for him. He is married. I work with his wife's father. It is just too much." she said.

I could feel for her. We don't fall in love. We have had the worst experience with love and we have decided not to have anything to do with it. A decision even family can't change. But shit happens like falling most unconventionally.

"Look, you are a Wilson. You are Marilyn. You are called Madam for a reason. You can weather any storm and you will dream this one." I say firmly. I know she just needs the reassurance and that is why I am here.

"I thought I was going to be able to fuck him out of my system but girl, he made love to my spirit, body, soul, and mind. Damn. Never had a dick that good. Not even Tommy." She smiled.

"Me too," I replied quietly.

With the look on her face right now I knew she heard me and was hungry for the tea.

"Girl, I knew it. Coming up in here glowing, I knew you finally got some dick," she squealed.

"shhhhh. What the hell?" I laughed.

"Spill," she demanded.

"So you remember the Watsons Gala/Soiree I went to yesterday, it was a masked party. I went because all the realtors and construction CEOs were supposed to be there. While scooping for tea about Innovex's CEO and not getting anything, I bumped into a stranger. A masked one and we clicked immediately. We joked around and I pretended to be a damsel in distress and he pretended to be a prince charming. That I how we went to the bar and started swallowing drinks. We had a lot. Then he took me to a hotel and fucked the hell out of me then made love to me. We didn't take the masks off. I don't know his name and he doesn't know mine. Just a faceless, nameless fuck. The best I ever had." I sighed.

"Oh my God. So you came here from the hotel," she said.

"Yep. Sent a box of clothes with a creepy message and asked my driver to come pick me up at the hotel." I said.

"Wow. That is something," she said.

We continued chit-chatting about different things. We later got up and went into the dining.

"Mum, I have to go and I will see you very soon. Big Mama, I love you." I say hugging both of them. Everyone else has gone including Marilyn's mum. We spent a lot of time in that sunroom.

"Okay but make sure you see your father and G_pop before you leave. Marilyn, take good care of my baby," my mum says.

"Aunty Mona, Fatima is a big girl. I'm the one who needs care," she said pouting.

"Girl, you slit people's throats for fun. What do you need protection for?" Big Mama laughed.

"Really? That is foul. You guys are lucky I love you. Goodbye. I love you." she said hugging them.

I walked towards the man cave where I was supposed to find the major men of the family and I could hear them laughing and smelling old scotch. I walked in and I found My dad, G Pop, Simon, and Blake high on scotch and cigar.

"If it ain't stink herself," my immediate elder brother Simon said.

"Shut up," I retorted.

" You are glad I love you, I would have had your head on a spike right now, " he said smiling.

"Ain't nobody worried about your itchy self," I said rolling my eyes.

"Hey, Blake. I have missed you. You ain't getting no hug from me. We live in the same city but you don't check on me, so no hug for you," I said pouting.

"Wo, that is foul," he replied laughing.

As much as we word fight a lot of times, my brothers are my pillars. They guide me with their lives.

"Hey, Dad. G_pop I have missed you," I grouped hugged two of the most important in my life."

"Hey stink. You look pale. The Innovex guy bothering you?" G Pop asked.

Damn. They are fast in this house.

"Damn, pop. First of all, I am glowing. Then how do you know about Innovex? I enquired and everyone laughed. I didn't find it funny at all.

It makes sense. They should know. I just thought I had it under control but I guess not.

"We stay alert every time here and that is how we brought up every one of you," G Pop said. "You don't need to worry yourself. He is handled," he said.

Big Mama said she would discuss my plan with him so I decided not to mention it.

"I just said to say bye to the old men on this in use. I'm off and I will see y'all later.

I went around and hugged everyone. When it got to my dad's turn, his eyes said something to me.

Be careful.

" I love you pops," I said and hugged him.

"Love you too stink,",

I walked out of the cave thinking of who this Innovex guy was and my mind drifted to my faceless one-night stand.

I want to see him again.

I want to forget everything that is going on and bask in him.

I walked down the stairs and found Madam waiting for me at the foot of the stairs.

"Thought you won't come back down," she said.

Marilyn is my favorite cousin. We grew up together and we are practically twins. She always has my back as I have hers. But she can be ruthless and annoying.

"Chile, I was talking to Gpop and you know you can't hurry that man up." I laughed.

We both walked out because everyone had left. I didn't meet a lot of people because I was late. But I still had fun. But I can't stop thinking about Innovex. I have this feeling that he is getting closer with every growing second.

We got into the car and Marilyn started the trip. We were both silent until she drove out of the estate.

" So, what are you planning to do? I can see through you. You want to see him again." she said.

I can't even wrap my head around the fact that I don't even know him.

"I am having mixed feelings. You know when you want something but can't get it," I replied.

The only exception is that I still want to keep him mysterious.

"I know right?" She giggled.

We got to my penthouse apartment and she dropped me off.

"Thanks boo. Catch up tomorrow?" I asked

"Yes, my love. Good night,"

I watched as her car sped into the night and I knew the day was just starting for her.

I walked to the back towards my private elevator. Another perk of having money. This elevator saves time. After getting into the elevator, I pulled out my phone and saw that I had a series of messages from a no-ID number.

No: My vixen

No: did you like your package?

No: You don't have to look for me. I will come when you need me.

Okay, now this is getting creepy.

At the sound of my elevator, I stepped into my apartment and was welcomed by something shocking.

"What in the literal fuck?"
