Chapter 1 ELLEN FROST••••

Taking one more glance at my reflection in the mirror...

I carried my worn out school bag which was on my small but comfortable bed and quickly dashed out of my room....

Well am Ellen frost, nineteen years of age but i look so tiny and frail well you could mistake me for a thirteen year old girl because of my statue....

I grew up with my aunt who took me in after the death of my parents. But she

has always detests me which I don't know why...she and her daughter uses me

like their slave, at times I hardly eat

because of my aunt...am a student and i also work part time so I can pay my fees.....I will stop here for now.

"Good morning mom" I greeted nervously...immediately a very hot slap landed on my cheek....

"How dare you call me mom!!? How many times have I told you that am not your mom? Do you think I can birth an ugly

thing like you...I am not your mom and will never be!" My aunt shouted angrily at me...

"Am ....sorry..." I managed to voice out with tears running down my cheek...

"Ugly wrench... I'm still wondering why am still

keeping you in my house...." My aunt mumbled angrily before walking out.

Immediately she left I bursted into tears...crying my eyes out. When am satisfied I left for school...

Arriving at Dayton's high, my head bent low I clutched my school bag nervously....

Suddenly I bumped into something or should I say someone, fear engulfed me

immediately I saw who it was..it was Anna my aunt's daughter..

"Wow...here comes the bitch, she finally decides to show up haha..hey everyone

look over here" Anna said...clapping her hands dramatically dragging more attention...

"Am ...sorry...am sorry...please forgive me for bumping into you..." I pleaded fearfully afraid of what might happen next...

"Oh my....the dirty little rat just apologized, what should I do now?" She mocked, fanning herself dramatically

making everyone to burst into a fit of laughter...

She grabbed my hair angrily forcing me down on my knees, i winced painfully but couldn't do anything and no one will eventually come to save me...

So I could only weep silently.

"You know what bitch? I hate you so much that I feel like killing you! Breathing

in the same air with you feels so suffocating, seeing your face everyday is like a nightmare to me! Why don't you just quit and stay the fuck away from me!!!?"

She screamed madly....making me to burst into tears .

And then she pushed me on the floor roughly as though I was a rag before walking off with her gangs....

Immediately she left the students started to throw hurtful words at me..

🗣 "So ugly...just take a look at her school uniform... "

I couldn't bear the insult anymore...the only thing I had in mind at that moment was to 'RUN', I stood up from the floor and ran away....

I slammed in and out of the bitch's wet wide honeypot roughly ....

while the bitch moaned loudly....

Suddenly she started pleading but it all fell on deaf ears...because I ain't stopping soon...

The sound of my ringing phone made me

to pull out of the bitch roughly. "Get out." I said coldly.

I took my phone from the nightstand and

sauntered towards the bathroom not sparing the bitch a glance...

Staring at the screen it was Nicklaus one

of my trusted men....

I swiped the answer icon

"Any news?" I asked coldly....

"Boss..we found him" Nicklaus cold voice emerged from the phone.

I hanged up the call and left the bathroom. I stepped inside

my room and still saw the bitch lying down on my bed stark naked, I grew angry...

"What are you still doing here"!!? I thundered angrily...

"Pl..ease I can't... move, my leg" the bitch cried....staring at me pitifully.

Smiling cynically, I took out my gun from my drawer and shot her dead.

I took out my phone and called one of my men....

"There's a f*cking trash in my room...come clean it up" I said coldly...my voice void of any emotion..

I hanged up and strode out of my room..

THE NEXT DAY•••••

AT A CAFE STORE••••

"This part time jobs...aren't they stressing you out?" Julia asked worriedly...

Well Ellen and julia work in the same cafe store, she's so warm and friendly and act like a big sister to Ellen.

"Come on...it ain't stressful..." Ellen smiled

warmly at her.

"You know you're still a highschool student, and you still work two part time jobs....I mean it's–

"Come on, am still breathing fine" Ellen cut her off calmly though...

Julia smiled warmly at Ellen, suddenly her expression changed to a sad one...

"Um...your aunt and Anna, they still maltreat you...right? Julia asked slowly, staring at Ellen sadly...

Ellen smiled sadly at her, deciding not to answer, she picked up her bag and muttered a bye before leaving.

Ellen came back home around 4: 30 pm, she quickly freshened up to leave for another of her part time job.

Stepping out of her room, she met her aunt and Anna discussing happily, deciding to ignore them, she walked pass them quietly...

" And where do you think you're going to?" My aunt questioned staring at me angrily....

"I have a part time job by 5..." I mumbled slowly.

"Oh...that's right I heard you work two part time jobs and you also get your payment daily..." Anna said suddenly staring at me pitifully.

"Mom!... why isn't she contributing anything in this house since she's living in our house freely and also eating our foods freely..." Anna whined grumpily

"But aunt...you stopped me from eating in this house a long time ago..." I said slowly, I suddenly felt like crying..

"Shut up! aren't you also living in my house freely? Hand over today's payment to me now!" My aunt demanded angrily...

"Aunt please.... Am saving it for my school fees...I can't give..." Not waiting for me to complete my speech, she snatched

my bag from my hands roughly she poured out all the contents inside and brought my payment which was inside a white envelope.

I burst into tears immediately,

"Anna darling?" She called out to her daughter.. Staring at me proudly

"Yes mom..." Anna answered grinning widely...

"You said your boyfriend is having financial issues right, here give this money to him." My aunt said sweetly

making Anna to run speedily towards her and hugged her tightly...

"Thanks mom, you're the best mom in the whole universe" Anna said happily smiling widely or should I say cunningly...

I felt my chest squeezed that I felt like dying

Why is life being so cruel to me?

Money in which I worked hard for, my sweat, someone else took it freely.

I quickly picked up my bag which was on the floor and ran out.
