Chapter 1 Theatrical Wedding

"Remember, we are only married until I receive my grandfather's inheritance! After that, we will end this marriage and you must never appear before me!" said Daza, Lavendra's husband, who had just been inaugurated less than 2 hours ago.

This sharp look made Lavendra very unhappy. Even though she knew that this marriage was Daza's grandfather's last wish so that the inheritance could be handed over to Daza. She feels very sad. The dream of a happy marriage is just wishful thinking at this point.

She didn't answer, and that made Daza angry. He immediately grabbed Lavendra's chin and made her look into Daza's very frightening eyes.

"Answer me! And I assure you, don't ever touch me! Because I won't!" he stressed.

Lavendra's hands trembled as she saw them. She didn't know that Daza already had a girlfriend. Even Daza's family said that Daza had been single for a long time, that's why Lavendra was ready to accept him! How is that..., she was really shaking.

The woman approached Lavendra. She looked at herself very arrogantly while smiling victoriously.

"Listen, don't think of yourself as a wife! You were only married because of Daza's grandfather. Don't you dare touch him, let him sleep alone. I can kill you if you dare," the woman warned.

For some reason, the words made her shudder. Lavendra realized that they must really be after that large inheritance for this woman to be willing to let Daza marry her. Lavendra's self-esteem was shattered.

"Oh, one more thing, I'm Lora. I will replace you after the inheritance falls into Daza's hands," she continued.

The woman named Lora immediately turned around and approached Daza. They came out and disappeared behind the door. It was as if the dream of being the only woman worth having had vanished in the blink of an eye.

Lavendra's common sense couldn't accept it. It still feels like a dream that wasn't supposed to come true today. This reality hit her common sense. It collapsed.

Lavendra knelt and couldn't hold her legs. She sobbed, her chest felt tight, and her vision felt blurred. Even in Daza's house, Lavendra screamed as loud as she could. She was completely devastated.

"Why!! Why do I have to get all this! I have never done anything wrong, my God! What kind of trials are you giving me, who has obeyed you all this time!" cried Lavendra.

Has she been bad all this time? Does she not share enough? Is she less filial? Then why does God seem to turn a blind eye and give her a marriage that is far from happy? It feels like Lavendra is like a mistress.

"Lavendra... where is Daza?" Papa asked.

"Daza went out with a woman again?" Grandpa asked.

"That boy... how could he agree to get married and still have a relationship with that cheap woman!If I knew that, I would definitely not let Daza marry you!" the grandfather said firmly.
