Chapter 1 Danna lives in a hut in the middle of the forest

Danna lives in a hut in the middle of the forest. She was brought up in the countryside by a couple of Omegas. Her parents died when she was 17; her father died in battle and her mother, with no connection to her partner, died of depression.

One day, Danna went to the flock and people were in an uproar over the coronation of the new alpha of the alphas. Curious, she decided to stay and watch the event.

The council of elders and the alphas from other packs were waiting for the new alpha of the alphas. Eros had assumed the position of alpha of the blue pride six months ago, after his father died in a battle to defend the lands of southern Alaska.

By choice of the older wolves in the packs, Eros was appointed alpha of the alphas because, like his father, he was a warrior fighter and strategist in battle. He also graduated from the best university in the United States and returned to the pack after his father's death.

Eros was talking to people about his duties in the pack and in the region, when a delicious smell came desperately to his nostrils. His wolf, Hercules, was muttering uncontrollably.

"That's my buddy!"

He searched for the source of the smell until he saw Danna. She was the same way, and their gazes met. Danna was thrilled to see the tall, strong, blue-eyed man; his bearing was imposing, and her wolf Hedé was restless. Eros immersed himself in those mystical eyes for a few seconds, then frowned and felt uncomfortable with the way his companion looked with that disheveled blue-black hair. He called one of his security guards.

Danna noticed how he stared at her and, there, her emotion disappeared. She ran out, pushing people out of her way, and ran through the streets towards the forest where she would free Hedé, but was intercepted by three warriors who caught her.

"Let me go, please, who are you?" she shouted in desperation.

"Calm down, miss, we're going to Eros' mansion, he'll be talking to you soon."

Danna was forcibly put in the back of a car and taken to the mansion. From that moment on, she knew her life would change.

In the studio, Eros was indignant at the companion the goddess Luna had put in his path. He didn't know why she had punished him like that. When his warriors entered with Danna, he stared at her. He thought to himself: "How dare she run away from me?" He couldn't deny that she was beautiful and that those eyes dazzled him, but for his mandate as alpha of the alphas, she didn't suit him as a mate.

"Omega, how dare you run away from me? I am your mate and you must accept your fate with me," he shouted tyrannically.

Danna blushed when she heard his voice, which she found pleasantly thick and rough, and felt helpless in front of this monument of a man.

"Did you hear me, omega? From now on, you're going to be locked up until I decide what to do with you," he shouted, imposing and angry.

Danna snapped out of her confusion and pleaded sadly.

"Alpha, I know I seem insignificant to you, so I beg you to let me go and I promise you won't see me again."

The scent of wild flowers did not leave his nostrils. Eros didn't know why that smell affected her so much. She wanted to throw herself at his lips, but she had to keep her posture. Just as she was about to reply, she heard a voice that snapped her out of her thoughts.

"Eros, my love, don't tell me that omega is your companion? What are you going to do with her?" Lamia said calmly and sweetly.

Eros approached her with a warm smile, took her hands gently and, looking at her, whispered.

"Lamia! Yes! She's my companion.

"Eros, but if she's your mate, will you break off our engagement?" he pouted.

"Lamia! Soon you'll be the moon of the region. I've given you my word and that of the elders, why don't we go and rest?" He looked away from the warriors holding Danna. "Take her to the room in the left wing of the mansion, don't let her out, only Gin can go in to bring her food."

"As you command, alpha."

Danna was devastated by the scene she had just witnessed. Her heart bled with disappointment at seeing Eros talking to another she-wolf. Reluctantly, she allowed herself to be led by the men to the room she had been assigned. As she entered, she sighed sadly as she contemplated her fate, marked by the moon goddess: a cold, arrogant companion who didn't love her, but another she-wolf.

Feeling like crying, she leaned against the door and looked around the room in dismay. The room was painted white and had a bed in the center. To one side, there was a table and a small closet. He also noticed a door on the right, which probably led to the bathroom.

She walked towards the window, looking for a possible escape route, but realized that it was too high to jump. She took a few steps towards the bed and, feeling overwhelmed by what had happened, sat down on it.

At that moment, he decided to connect with his she-wolf for comfort and strength.

"Hedé, our companion despises us. That idiot is prejudiced against us for being omega."

"If he decides to reject us, we will be a disgrace and he will confine us from these lands." Her she-wolf was anxious.

"Silly she-wolf, from the cold, emotionless look on your face, I can tell we're in trouble. If that's the case, I'd rather be alone."

Hedé felt sad at the thought of a possible rejection from her companion. Danna released her bond when she felt the door open. A young woman was coming in with dresses in one hand and a tray of food in the other. She looked Danna up and down and wrinkled her face. In a dismissive voice, she said:

"I am Gin, this is Lady Lamia, Luna of the alpha Eros, sending you to change these filthy rags and also the alpha is sending you food."

Danna rolled her eyes and gritted her teeth. She felt the young woman's heavy gaze on her. She could only stand up, pick up her things and say.

"Thanks."

Gin turned her back disinterestedly and left the room. Danna started to eat and then went to bed and slept until the next day.
