Chapter 1 A Nightstand with a Stranger

Tiara's pov

"Is this what I said I wanted?!

"The woman's raging voice took me off guard and I was trying to explain myself.

Susan was in the bathroom taking a break and I didn't mind helping her deliver an order but it seems I had mixed it up.

"I-I..."I was so confused, I was just a cleaner, sure I was used to getting shouted at but this woman was impossible,"

but this is your order ma'am.

"I was very positive I didn't mix up the tables and give it to the wrong person.

"This isn't the drink I ordered and this Champagne is too cheap for me!"

She hissed and I was getting irritated,

"Drink it yourself!''

She poured the drink on me and time froze.

Everyone was in shock and she didn't seem to bat an eyelid at me.

My blood was boiling but I couldn't do anything.

"What is going on here?!''I could hear my boss stumble in at the wrong time like an angry elephant,

"Miss Susan! You're here tonight?!"

He was shocked to see one of the prestigious guests of the famous Executive Club.

"And it seems you don't want me to ever be here again causes you sent this disgusting witch to serve me a cheap Champagne!"

It was the wild claims and then my boss turned to glare at me daggers but my eyes gave me away.

I didn't do anything.

"No, do not take it like that, she made a mistake and she will apologize, Nesla?"

His glare got worse and I felt like dying there and then.

"I'm sorry.

"It was barely audible and she snorted at me.

"Another one will be brought for you, in the house.

"He managed a smile before dragging me away from the scenery, "are you for real?!"

"Do you really believe what she just said about me, boss?!

"I was shocked to my bone, I guess rich people had the same way of thinking.

"I don't care what she says but she is worth millions, so don't mess anything up or you'll be out of here. Got it?!

"I didn't get the chance to speak any further before he left me.

I was covered in red liquid and my body smelled of alcohol, it was so humiliating and no one deserves anything like this, rich or poor.

But the rich always treated us, poor people, like servants.

They could use our blood and still not care about what happens to us.

I sniffed back my tears and grabbed my cleaning equipment, going back to the spot where the embarrassment happened, and began cleaning the mess.

I could still hear them whispering and snickering at me.

I locked my eyes to the floor and a tear fell from my eyes as I heard someone call me a loser.

A word I was very familiar with, especially in high school.

Just because I had no parents, everyone hated me and bullied me.

I was even assaulted and they all thought I was lying because it was a rich school and I got into it via scholarship.

More tears fell to the floor and no matter how many times I wiped, more tears kept falling.

I was shattering slowly as my trauma came back to me.

I quickly got to my feet and as I turned, I hit someone who was just behind me.

Shit, not another rich person!

"I'm so sorry, are you okay?"

I checked his jacket as he stood still like a rock, his eyes were a bit red and he didn't seem stable but he held out a hand telling me to stop.

"You're trying to mess up my date like you did to Miss Susan?

"I knew that voice from anywhere, Caroline. I rolled my eyes as I made sure he was okay,

"Just watch where you're going next time, if you weren't so clumsy, you wouldn't be looking like a drunk, dumped into the pit.

"She snickered at me and I took a deep breath just to make sure I didn't throw her into a pit too.

Dead.

But the man kept staring at me, jet black hair and piercing hazel blue eyes, I was melting, my knees were knocking and I could feel a bit of heat gather in between my legs.

His energy was magnetic and it was pulling me in fast. And I don't know what happened and I started feeling dizzy and the last thing I heard him say was,

"Let's go. And I was on the floor.

"When I woke up it was already late in the evening and I stared at my surroundings just to find out I was in a room but it wasn't my room I turned to check my

surroundings very well then I saw another person on the bed and when I looked closer it was the man I bumped into a few hours ago and I was not with my clothes

"Oh no, I can't believe I slept with a stranger, But that was the last thing I wanted to do, sleep around for money.

Feeling guilty and used to going straight to the bathroom to clean myself, I turned on the faucet first and grabbed some soap.

My reflection caught my eyes and I had a good look at myself.

I looked horrible.

My hair looked like an old abandoned wig that hadn't been brushed in a year, my neck had several love bits and I was starting to break out.

"Tiara..."

I had no idea when I broke down, this was not the life I wanted and I'm very sure my parents didn't want me either.

Maybe if they hadn't given me up for adoption when I was a baby, it would have been different. It would have been so different.

I sank to my knees in the corner of the bathroom and cried my eyes out, I would do anything to change my predicament.

I couldn't keep living this way, having everyone walk over me, was I cursed or something?

I spent at least 30 minutes crying and when I was done, I was numb. I washed my face and cleaned myself up before going back to my duty. As the cleaner.

It was time to check the rooms and I made sure each one was clean and ready for the next use.

I walked lifelessly, even though I was still feeling the pain in my body, especially my legs.

doors passing my view till I saw Caroline and another rich man coming out of a room.

When they were close to me she stopped and looked at me and said in a low voice that only I could hear her.

"I hope you enjoyed yourself and they passed me by as Caroline clung to him, disheveled but smiling stupidly.

And that was when I came to my senses that she was responsible for me sleeping with that stranger.

What can I do?

The deed has already been done. It may be my only ticket to my freedom long and hard, fighting my conscience.

I had heard so many stories of rich men getting poor girls pregnant and having to take care of them.

I never wanted to do such a thing but maybe this was my only chance.

I could be a billionaire in just 9 months!

I stood at the door and exhaled before I opened it.

The room still looked neat, the bed looked like an explosion just happened.

I took the sheets off first and put in new ones.

"I yelped, practically jumping on the bed but it didn't move.

When I looked closer it wasn't a snake but some kind of latex and an indication that I needed sleep.

I moved closer and grabbed it, a used condom.

I held my barf back, I can't believe I just picked that with my bare hands.

I dumped it and pushed my cleaning equipment out of the room.
