Chapter 3 The date

I woke up it was a new day. I woke up to a few text messages one was from Nate I smiled I felt all warm inside. I read it and it said '' good morning beautiful I hope you slept very well I can't wait until our date tonight.'' I then replied I can't wait to see you, I have slept okay and I then asked where we was going he said it was a surprise.

I texted back okay I love surprises we keep texting back and fourth he asked me when was I coming into work I told him I would be there at 10am it was 7am I was getting ready to leave and then I received another text from the guy who lost his wife he was telling his story of how they meet. He was Remembering all the good times that he had with his wife before her passing in trying to send it to her as he was typing I just let him continue to message me while I was getting ready to work. I went to the gate to check in to get into work and I saw him the guy that I had message for the last 4 years during my medical Residency he saw me and said hey Nataile I acted like I didn't hear him call my out my name until he came over and said it again I then said hey Jessie long time no see he then said yes it has been 5 years since we saw each other due to him getting into the army. I said I am going to be late for work he said let's meet up on your break I said sure why not. As the day goes on I went I couldn't stop thinking about my online friend I haven't talked to him in the last four years and here he was in person in my town I lived in. I was in his pen pal while he was over seas. I looked for him while I was on my break and I couldn't find him but I did find Nathan. He saw me and was walking over to me and we had a wonderful time while I was on my break. I told him I had to get back to work and he gave me a goodbye kiss I couldn't stop thinking about that kiss for the rest of my shift. My phone went off I checked it and it was Nathan asking where I lived so he could come and pick me up for our date I told him where I lived, and he said I will see you soon beautiful with a smile face. It was the end of my shift and I was getting ready to leave I was stopped by Ricky my online pen pal and we talked and I told Ricky I was sorry but I was in a hurry to get to get home I told him I was going on a date and he said that was good he then said he was sorry he just missed talking to me and that he wanted to keep in contact with me he just thought I would of meet someone by now and I said I just meet this guy yesterday he is in the army and his name is Nathan he asked me for a last name and I said I didn't get his last name. I left and went home and got ready for my date. I was getting ready and I had a message from the unknown number that said '' I am thinking about you my love I miss your smiling face I wish you was here with me but I know you are not here your with him. Why did you have to leave me here all alone my love?'' I didn't reply to the message it was to sad to try to reply to it. My door bell rang and it was Nathan I went to answer the door and he just stood there and said wow you look beautiful Natalie. I said thank you and we left and went out to eat and talked and then we went on a walk I said you know what my dream date is he said what I then told him I would love to walk on the beach at sunset and just watch the sunset and then get up early and watching the sun raise. He didn't say anything so I got scared that I scared him off by saying that. He then said that sounds like a dream. As the night went on we just keep talking I then said its getting late and we decided to call it a night. He walked me to my door and we said goodnight and we did kiss and oh my what a kiss.
