Chapter 8 THE PETITE GIRL

" The CEO is so selfish with his girlfriend" one of the shareholders immediately spat out when Raymond has already disconnected from the video conference leaving only the shareholders to themselves

" Sure he is too possessive of her"

" Who is the woman that could move the cold heart of Mr blackwood?? What family is she from??"

" She must be a wealthy woman"

" And as well powerful,she is greatly favoured by nature, can't you tell she's beautiful from her back view??"

The directors kept making suggestions and complimenting the oblivious brunette who has was already dinning with Raymond at the dinning table while feeding Brian dog food [ showing of affection]

" Could you guys be more decent and act less shamefully??" Brian was so infuriated by these two love birds who kept making the atmosphere unconducive for him to digest his meals peacefully

Brunette rolled her eyes at him while saying " there are no awards for being single dude"

Brian nostril flared up as he pointed his spoon at brunette

" You....you-- mind your speech" Brian was so short of words that he started stammering

Brunette's words was simply rubbing Brian's singlehood to his face,if there was a word like that

She was simply calling Brian a lone dog

Which made Brian so mad

" To the kitchen" Raymond said those words directly to Brian without giving him any face

" Elder brother!!" Brian felt stuffed up with grieve at he stared at his brother with tears brimming in his eyes

He knew that method wasn't gonna work on his brother but those were his true emotions

Brian, nevertheless picked up his plate,served some meals on it and left the room for the shameless couples while grumbling

Seeing Brian has left the room brunette turned to Raymond

"That was rather harsh you know"

Raymond didn't feel any remorseful but just glanced at brunette with such a tender gaze that could melt a person's heart and make it move to the brim of love

" Nobody is allowed to be rude towards you because you're mine"Raymond said as a matter of factly

Brunette heart was moved greatly; atleast she wasn't a pile of wood

Brunette's face was full of blush as she lowered her head to continue eating

Raymond just stared at her already flushed face and smiled with the corner of his lips raised up into a delightful smile

" To hell with those shameless duo, I'm always suffering whenever I'm around them" Brian was grumbling and snorted at the thought of those two set of creatures

" They won't even spare a loner like me from their PDA" [ public display of affection]

Just then the head maid walked in to see if the kitchen was in order before going to bed

That was the night routine for the head maid whenever she was set for bed

Walking into the kitchen,the older lady saw Brian eating in the kitchen counter while snorting and as well making inaudible sounds as if swearing or perhaps saying words out of anger

Without being told,the maid already caught knowledge of what happened

' Raymond is too much ah ' the maid thought while shaking her head side ways

She walked up to Brian, but before she could say anything,Brian beat her to it

" Aunt Parker, Raymond bullied me so bad for the sake of that loathsome girl, I was made to eat here because I said they were overly being too Indecent with one another" Brian kept Making complaint against Raymond while making sure to act as an abandoned project

Making sad faces at Mrs Parker.

Mrs Parker only smiled while patting his head like a little kitten who had suffered a mishap

" That's okay child" Mrs Parker tried to comfort the all - so - childish Brian

Mrs Parker was the one who took care of the blackwood's grandchildren that was comprising of Raymond, Brian and the other two children of the blackwoods

So she was quite closed to them, especially Brian who was so attached to her when he was still a kid

Raymond once purnished Brian by making her leave the house to the blackwood family's house to serve their parents instead,and Brian wasn't allowed to visit her there or beg her to make his favorite cookies

At that time,Brian was so depressed and smitten,after several months did Raymond call Mrs Parker back to North Pole

When Brian saw that Mrs Parker was back in North Pole,he was so emotional that day that heaven might have probably felt his pain

And that was how childish Brian could be!

" Mrs Parker,you sure are the one that understands me the most" Brian said with grieve laced in his voice

__________Next morning______

It was a Monday morning at about 6:30am

In a luxurious and classic room

*Snoring*

Snoring sounds could be heard from the room

At the center of the room was a gigantic bed with a person who was wearing just pants and as well shirtless, lying there with boths legs spread wide across the bed, sleeping with his chest on the bed

Hair was dishaveled and in a messy state

Brian was sound asleep without a care of the world when his phone stated vibrating indicating an incoming call

Grunting, Brian stretched out his hands to collect the vibrating phone without opening his eyes as he was still feeling very sleepy

Answering the call,a voice came from the other side

" You fool,you are so doomed if I catch you Brian and you'll be made to call me grandpa " A voice shouted angrily when the call connected

Getting cursed in the early hours of the day all of a sudden by a person he was familiar with,jolted Brian out of his slumber

" What do you mean?? You woke me up for this?? Grandpa my ass" Brian immediately barked at his cousin brother who was same age as him

" You bastard if you wanted to go shopping with one of your numerous girlfriends,why not wear a mask you freak??" Casper barked at Brian in fury

"...." Brian was rendered speechless,went shopping??when?!!

" Are you perhaps mistaken??" Brian asked feeling bewildered

" Go check out the latest news on Instagram" Casper snorted at Brian
