Chapter 6 : Vacation

"Say what? All I asked for was your name. I have a name too..." She heaved and he shrugged.

"Not that I care..." He drawled lazily looking around.

"Tell me, why are you this way? Your fashion sense is weird, your words even weirder though I can't say the same for your face but..."

"Just stop drooling, I have a woman in my life..." Nikolas cut in and her smile widened.

He wondered what was funny and why she was trying to be friendly when she had different schemes in her head.

"I don't care, if we get together now it'll be called having fun because she's not here to catch us..."

"You don't look like one of those men who can be captured and controlled by one woman, it'll take a lot to keep you in check. It might even take a lifetime" She concluded and he cringed.

Her words were correct, back in Colchis he was known for causing rifts amongst ladies and changing women like clothes.

He smiled, for the first time she had gotten something correct.

"You can try to keep me in check" He muttered, leaning very close to her and her heart pounded as she bent, trying not to get caught in the heat emanating from his body.

She put her hand forward to push his chest but against those giant and hot biceps, her hand felt like wax.

"None except those of noble birth would dare to call me by my name, but you dummy can call me master" He replied sternly and she burst into laughter.

He watched her closely, almost smiling, struck by her bright and radiant face.

"There's no way I'm calling you that, what age do you think this is? The 1700's? Are you crazy? Since you're reluctant to tell me your name, I'll keep calling my grumpy clone..." She replied and Taya walked inside, making her run off in another direction.

"Where have you been?" Riley demanded, staring at Brielle closely... her heart was thumping fast, face flushed and skin filled with goosebumps.

Her ears were red and cheeks slightly coloured.

"I've been busy, what's wrong?" She retorted and Riley rolled her eyes.

"Wash them" Riley ordered, pointing at a pile of clothes before walking inside.

"Very soon, just wait, I'll have the power to do as I wish and I wouldn't hesitate to exert it on you" She thought.

"Wash them" She mimicked, carrying the expensive but tasteless dresses.

Thoughts of tearing one came to her head but after remembering the mercilessly beating and punishment she had been given before, a calm feeling descended upon me.

"This is strange, why are you smiling?" Taya inquired, pulling her out of her trance.

She had stopped washing the clothes and began smiling sheepishly, the face of her grumpy clone and Jace doing wonders in her head.

"Oh! Nothing! I just felt the need to smile..." She lied and Taya shook her head, not buying the lie.

"I've been watching for a very long time now also I saw you with a guy in the cafeteria... so spill it girl who's he? How did you meet him? He's hot! I want all the details!" Taya demanded happily and they both giggled, flapping their hands.

She had always loved Taya right from time, she has always been her best friend, confidant, and family...

She never treated Brielle the way Riley and her mom did.

Most times when Brielle thought of running away, she couldn't bring herself to do that all because of the love and support she received from Taya.

"Stop drooling and tell me already..." She pleaded and she nodded.

"I had my first kiss with a stranger... two strangers actually..." Brielle disclosed and she exclaimed, covering her mouth.

"Why the fuck would you do that? Girl you sick or what?"

"They're twins, I never knew but damn... they're both too good to be true, I think they're Greek gods, I doubt if they're from this world" Brielle lamented, almost falling and she held her arm.

"Stop being dramatic and tell me everything..." She urged and they heard a scream from Riley.

"What's wrong with her now?" Taya frowned and together, they went outside only to see Riley sprawled on the bench, gasping for air and fanning her face.

"What's wrong with you drama queen? Do you need anything? Did anything big happen?" Brielle mocked, she kept closing and opening her eyes, slapping her cheek gently.

If She was allowed, she would give her the same slap grumpy clone had given her.

"What's wrong? You're scaring me" Taya retorted.

"Oh my gosh! Where's mom! Did you see him?! Did you see that sculpture of sexiness and elegance?" Riley blabbered and Taya looked around with confusion.

She stood frozen and Brielle tapped her but she shook her head, still in shock, pointing at someone.

She turned and her heart rose to my mouth when she saw her grumpy clone.

He was dressed in a tuxedo and pants, his fashion had changed completely, and his hair was styled and gelled perfectly.

His face had a stern expression but he looked mighty and muscular, strings in her heart pulled as she stared at him.

He put his hand in his pocket, taking slow, lazy strides towards them ... the three of them were dazed, who wouldn't.

It wasn't everyday you got to see the most sexy man in the world.

She was the first to break the barrier.

What was he doing here and why was he going towards her stepmother. He stopped beside her and they began discussing.

Brielle strained my ears, wishing she could hear half of their discussion. His face wasn't giving any hints.

"What are they discussing? How did she find someone as handsome as him?" Taya dropped, still drooling while Riley's mouth was still agape

She chuckled, knowing that she had kissed him while the drama queen was busy eating him up with her buggy eyes.

"Oh! I can't believe this is the man mother wants me to get married to, I don't deserve anything less but I'm still amazed, mother is surely the best" Riley confessed, feigning tears and Brielle choked on a laugh.

She doesn't know why this stranger was here but it definitely has something to do with her....

Eleanor's face turned into a frown and her heart leaped, was he here to ask for payment? But he wouldn't dare...

She began to think of reasonable explanations to give to her stepmother if he came for his payment.

"Brielle!" Eleanor called angrily and she bolted to her side, bowing her head and ready to deny ever meeting this guy.

"Yes stepmother, I swear I do not know who he is and I've never seen him before in my life, if he tells you anything I'm..." She began fidgeting.

She glared at him and wondered what tricks he had and her stepmother scowled.

"Go get your belongings... you would be going with him for a little while, take it as a vacation and a chance to be part of a great experiment" Eleanor dropped and her eyes bulged.

"Wait! Was she driving me off? Selling me or what was going on?" She thought.

"What's going on mother? Hello, I'm Riley but you can call me Ley or any nickname you have for me" Riley blushed, using the seductive voice she likes using for guys as she stretched her hand forward.

She was biting her lips and pushing her chest forward slowly.

"Meet me in the car... 10 minutes" the Grumpy clone muttered icly and walked away, making Riley's face swell with anger while Eleanor had a vicious look.

What the hell is going on? This is surprising.
