In the wee hours of the morning, 6a.m, the light of the J.D Tech shone eerily as I parked in front of my company. Maybe it was just my feeling but in the worst-case scenario, we might go extinct from this attack.

I parked and rushed into the building. My core staff wore gloomy faces waiting at the entrance of my office. "Miss Sonata, get the details of every single attack, front-end, and back-end, and how it was penetrated, and report to my office."

"It's ready sir. We've been waiting" she said. "Ella please go ahead and block access to all my transactions and don't allow any money to move out or come in for now" "Done sir" my secretary replied. My staff stood staring at me, still gloomy and that was when I realized what I had done.

The cyber attack has been done and dusted. Whoever did it had a free will to attack and I wasn't around to issue the codes to stop the attack. All attempts to reach me when it started failed such that they have done their part and still didn't have me there to do my part. I sighed heavily.

An unknown imaginary weight dropped on my shoulders. "Everyone, please come in for a meeting." I walked into my vast space office and sat on the seat for our meeting. After sitting down, I took a deep breath. "Tell me the details of the attack, what you were able to find, and the details," I said addressing my 7-man team that ran the company in my absence. At that point, I just knew at the back of my head, for a very long time, I would detest red-hair women and club rooms.
