Chapter 3 The Fate Of The Rogue

Nyla's POV:

When I opened my eyes, the sky was already dark outside. I looked around and found that I was lying in my own room. It was very quiet.

I had no idea who took me back to my room. Maybe a kind werewolf had mercy on me.

Although my room was narrow, it gave me an inexplicable sense of security.

When I passed out, I thought Killian would take the opportunity to retaliate against me. But I didn't feel anything strange in my body. It seemed he didn't do anything. Somehow, I was relieved.

Maybe my night would pass peacefully, and I was safe.

But I could no longer go back to sleep. With my eyes wide open, I stared blankly at the ceiling. A myriad of thoughts crowded into my mind.

Every werewolf in the pack house now despised me. Everywhere I went, they would criticize me.

Despite all this, I had to stay here. My mother was still in the hospital, and I needed money for her medical expenses. I had no one to rely on to help me pay.

So, I cheered myself up. I told myself that those were just harsh words. They should not affect me. I had been through a lot all these years. What else couldn't I endure?

I lay in the bed with an uneasy heart. No matter how much I motivated myself, my situation still made me feel weak.

Finally, I felt sleepy again. But when I was dozing off, the door was suddenly kicked open.

Then Alyssa Ortiz broke in, followed by several werewolves.

Alyssa was the only daughter of the Beta of the Black Moon Pack. Everyone in the pack believed she was the perfect match for Killian.

I couldn't help frowning, wondering why she suddenly came.

I sat up and looked at them in confusion.

But before I could react, she pointed at me and ordered, "Catch this bitch!"

As soon as she said this, the werewolves behind her immediately rushed in and besieged me.

What do you want? Let me go!

I was so scared that I struggled desperately. When Alyssa saw me like this, she laughed ferociously.

She looked at me contemptuously and announced, "The Alpha has given an order. You and your mother must be kicked out of the Black Moon Pack now. So, get out of here!"

Alyssa's words shocked me. How could they drive my mother and me out of the pack?

The news was like a bolt from the blue. I was so stunned that I froze for a while. My mind went blank for a moment. It took me a long time to come back to my senses.

But why? I didn't do anything wrong.

Was it because of those gossips and false rumors?

But it was not my fault. Why would they pin the blame on me?

A sarcastic smile appeared on Alyssa's face. Then she said resentfully, "Don't think you can escape the punishment by pretending to be sick. We investigated and found that you were responsible for the drinks during the banquet. That night, Killian lost control of himself and left the banquet after drinking the wine served to him. You seduced him."

As she spoke, she glared at me. The hatred in her eyes was like a sharp knife stabbing me. "You planned all this just to sleep with him. What you did is considered a serious crime. So get out of here before I let these werewolves drag you out."

What did she say? Something was wrong with Killian's wine?

How could it be?

But... I didn't do anything. I am innocent, I shouted, defending myself. Tears already streamed down my face like a waterfall. I felt so aggrieved. "It was Killian who forced me. I didn't frame him. If you want, take me to him. Let's ask him the truth..."

Before I could finish my words, Alyssa suddenly grabbed my hair hard.

I felt like my scalp was tearing apart. It was so painful. I had no choice but to raise my head to look at her.

Alyssa looked more ferocious now. She leaned over and whispered in my ear, "Shut up, you bitch! You only deserve this. How dare you take my man away from me." Her voice sounded like a demon. "Don't think about seeing Killian. It will never happen. He doesn't want to see you ever again. In fact, it's him who wants to drive you away."

I was dumbfounded for a moment. Was it true that Killian wanted to drive me away?

Was this his revenge? How could I overcome his retaliation?

For a moment, I felt like I had lost all my strength. The werewolves directly dragged me to the door and threw me out like garbage.

Ouch!

I screamed when I fell to the ground hard. My palm was scratched, and I felt a sharp pain.

No, I couldn't let this happen. They couldn't drive us out like this.

My mother was critically ill, so she had to stay in the hospital. If she became a rogue, she would die.

If Killian wanted to drive me away, I would beg him.

I struggled to get up from the ground and limped away to find Killian.

At this moment, a car drove out of the gate of the Cohen family's residence.

I recognized it was Killian's car.

My eyes lit up at once. Regardless of anything, I rushed to stop the car.

The driver didn't slow down at all. I was scared, but I was determined not to retreat. I closed my eyes in fear and waited for the car to hit my body.
