Chapter 2 Humiliation

Nyla's POV:

Killian must be furious because he might not be the next Alpha of the Black Moon Pack. And he was pinning the blame on me. So, no matter how hard I explained, it was in vain. He would never listen to me.

Since I didn't have a wolf, I couldn't resist him at all. I had no choice but to just shut my eyes in fear and wait for my end.

After I waited for a while, nothing happened. Then I suddenly heard receding footsteps.

I opened my eyes cautiously, only to see Killian's angry back walking away.

Killian left just like that? Why didn't he do anything to me?

I wasn't relieved yet because Alyssa was still here. I thought she would also do something to me. To my surprise, she just glared at me fiercely and followed Killian in a hurry.

I struggled to get up from the floor. The other werewolves hadn't left yet. They all watched me with disdain, pointing their fingers at me.

She's certainly a bitch. How dare she seduce Killian!

How dare she! Who does she think she is? She is just a lowly whore.

I ignored their disgusting mockery. These werewolves didn't know the real me, so I no longer cared about what they would say. I endured the pain, limped back to my room, and threw myself into the bathtub.

The blotchy marks were visible on my naked body. I was so disgusted by them that I rubbed my skin vigorously. It was as if I could erase them this way.

I accidentally lost my virginity, my mate disliked me, and I was accused of setting someone up. Whoever experienced this in one go would really cry to death. This was what I felt right now. I wanted to cry regardless of anything.

But no matter what, life must go on. My mother was seriously ill in the hospital. She was still waiting for me, so I couldn't give up.

I took a deep breath to calm myself down. Then, I got up from the bathtub, got dressed, and prepared to leave. But before I could go out, the door of my room was kicked open.

I turned around in horror, only to see Alyssa's angry face. What did she want from me again?

She shouted, "Catch this bitch!"

The werewolves behind her rushed inside, surrounded me, and pressed me down to the floor.

I struggled hard to break free, but there were too many of them.

So I could only scream, "What do you want from me?"

Alyssa looked at me condescendingly, with disgust written all over her face. "I am just following the Alpha's order. You tricked the future Alpha into sleeping with you. You have committed a serious crime. We are here to drive you out of the pack. From now on, you and your mother are no longer members of the Black Moon Pack. Get out of here!"

Alyssa's words shocked me. How could they drive my mother and me out of the pack?

The news came like a bolt from the blue. I was so stunned that I froze for a while.

No, I couldn't let this happen. My mother was critically ill. She couldn't be taken out of the hospital. If we became rogues, she would die.

Who else could help us?

At this moment of despair, all I could think of was Killian. He was my mate and the Alpha's son. As long as he interceded and was willing to plead for me, my mother and I could stay in the pack.

At the thought of this, I raised my head and said, "Where is Killian? Please take me to him. I have something important to tell him."

Seriously? After setting him up, you still have the nerve to see him? Do you really think you matter to him? Dream on! Alyssa sneered. She looked down at me and added, "It will never happen. Killian doesn't want to see you ever again. In fact, he wants you to disappear right away."

I was dumbfounded. For a moment, I couldn't think of a word to say.

Killian was my mate. We had proven it last night.

How could he be so cruel to me? How could he abandon me just like that?

There was no way he didn't sense our mate bond last night.

Could it be that he didn't want to admit I was his mate because he despised my status as an Omega? Did he ask Robbin to kick me out of the pack to conceal this matter?

My mind was a mess, and I felt powerless. No matter how much I struggled, my efforts were in vain.

I begged, "No. Please don't do this. Please don't drive me out. You can't do this to me. Please, I need to stay."

But no one listened to my cries. I was still pulled to the gate of the Cohen family's residence.

At this moment, a car drove over.

I recognized it was Killian's car.

My eyes lit up at once. I didn't know where my strength came from, but I managed to break free from the werewolves. Then I rushed to stop the car.
