Football, also known as soccer, is a popular sport played by two teams of 11 players each34.The objective of the game is to maneuver the ball into the opposing team's goal, with only the goalkeeper allowed to handle the ball34. The team that scores more goals wins the game3.Here are some basic terms and rules associated with football: Yardage: All progress in a football game is measured in yards2. The offensive team tries to get as much yardage as possible to move closer to the opponent's end zone2.
