Chapter 1 The Mark of Destiny

Willowbrook was shrouded in the darkness of the night as Emma Carter, a curious and fearless young woman, returned to her hometown after the tragic death of her parents. As she stepped onto the deserted sidewalk, she felt a shiver run down her spine, as if she were being watched.
