Chapter 3 Electrified

It was 12pm and I had half an hour to meet Danielle, my sister, for lunch as promised, to celebrate that I got the job. I should not make a lot, maybe fifteen minutes if I hurry.

I started to quicken my pace as soon as I reached the ground floor. I went out the huge doors of the building and turned to look at it again. Full of delight, I turned on my heels and started running, seeing that the traffic light was still green. All of a sudden sharp sounds started to be heard, I looked to my left, a cyclist was about to hit me but in the next second I was pulled back.

A large and strong hand covered the back of my head, and the other held my wrist. I felt tingling in the palms of my hands and feet.

I turned my head almost out of breath to discover Adonis.

Aphrodisiac in the flesh. Black hair, slightly curly and nicely cut. Green and intense eyes. A whole scenario unfolded looking at them, sex, screams, traces of sins on the body. The strong jaw and perfectly contoured lips made you sinful promises.

Desire appeared in my pelvis, making my treasure tremble at the sinful thought of his manhood.

With a husky and deep masculine voice he said 'New York is not for everybody.' I felt like my body had given itself to him. His eyes didn't blink or move, they were fixing me not to move.

I gathered all my strength to release from his grip and said 'Thank you!'. Turned around and left as quick as I could and tried my best to not look back.

He was the kind of men I was afraid of. The one that had power over you, that could do anything they want with you. I didn't want a broken heart, I was focusing on my future, so I didn't want to leave any trace of interest.

She ran away and left me with the memory of the warmth of her body. I giggled and went back to the car.

'Andrew, find out who she is.' and he nodded.

I couldn't resist going to her. Her look when she turned her head back to look at the building, I imagined her kneeling and burning with impatience to take it from me, to suck it, to lick it from root to tip.

Her look and her slightly parted lips begging to be devoured, while I was holding her. Her body lit up from a touch and as if reading my thoughts about everything I wanted to do to her, I felt her body slightly trembling.

I rubbed my face trying to get over what happened. I had to regain control and focus on the meeting I was heading towards.

After the meeting I returned to the office. I still had a few projects to review and select for each department.

I sat down on the chair and thought about that girl again. I was smiling without wanting to at the memory of her, how she quickly freed herself from my grip and ran away. I saw her twice in one day, and now I can't get her out of my mind.

My thoughts were quickly dashed by the call of a scheduled video conference.

'Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen!' I said, then coughed a few times to remind myself of what I wanted to say.

ANN

Ann!', Danielle waved at me from her table.

I entered the cute restaurant and went to their terrace where Danielle was waiting for me. Elegant, but yet sexy. My older sister is taller than me and darker skinned. Her eyes are brown and almond-shaped, beautifully defined by long eyelashes and thick and carefully arranged eyebrows. She has angelic features, a beautifully proportioned nose, perfectly large lips and full cheeks, like a child.

'Tell me everything!', my big sister said with excitement in her voice smoking from an electronic cigarette. Her nails are red and long, perfectly highlighting the new engagement ring with a huge diamond, received by her future husband, Mark Moore.

'My boss was not at work, but the ex assistant taught me everything I need to know and I also got to meet the receptionist. Two very nice girls. I can't wait to start work tomorrow!' I said with a big smile on my face and took a bite from one of the taco's that Danielle ordered.

'Ann...', she narrowed her eyes and waited for me to continue. I raised my eyebrows while chewing on the delicious taco and shrugged 'And that's it. Afterwards I came here.' , then took another bite.

'Then why are you blushing?' she giggled. 'Did you do anything embarrassing? No. That would have been the first thing you would have told me about.' I giggled, she knew me best.

'Ann... tell me already!', she asked me with a playful desperation.

'I met the hottest man alive after I was almost hit by a cyclist. He saved me and as gratitude I laid in his arms like a bitch on heat.' I said still in shock of my reaction.

Danielle was laughing so loudly, that everyone from the terrace was looking at us, but we didn't care.

'I was so embarrassing. I could not speak or move. And guess what he told me!' I continued, this time with a hint of anger and disbelief.

'What?', she asked with a big and excited smile on her face.

'New York is not for everybody!' trying my best to make playboy face expressions and a deep alpha voice.

We started laughing so hard, that Danielle's laugh was no longer hearable. Her whole face was laughing, her eyes, her nose, but you couldn't hear her anymore, until she took a deep breath and her colorful laughter started to be heard again.

The people around couldn't help but laugh too, but not with us, but at us. So we laughed even harder. We raised our glasses of cold rose wine and clinked them together.

'For my virgin, innocent little sister!' Danielle said giggling.

'For my crazy and beautiful future bride!' giggling back to her.

It was almost 8pm when I got back to my apartment. We lost track of time. If Mark hadn't come to pick us up, we would have stayed there all night.

I looked around and I still couldn't get used to it. The apartment was so big and luxurious in my opinion. If it were up to me, I would never have moved into such an apartment. The rent was several times higher than my salary, but Mark didn't give me room to decide. This was his and Danielle's graduation gift.

I was so grateful for everything they both offered me. They were everything to me, my whole family. You could read Mark's love for my sister in his eyes that saw only her, his body language, the way he spoke to her.

They have been together before the nightmare that Danielle and I had been through and I was glad that she had him by her side, so that he could take away her suffering.

I poured myself a glass of water and headed to the bathroom. I turned on the water to fill the bathtub. I undressed and got inside waiting for it to fill up.

I had a blast with my sister today, as we usually do, but those tense moments next to the incarnation of Adonis made their way into my mind, making my pulse quicken and my lower part tingle painfully.

I don't like that I lost control in front of him. I always knew how to pull myself together and not fall prey to bad guys. But he was something else, everything felt different with him.

I clenched my legs, trying to vanish the feeling. And I lay back, sinking myself into the tub and letting my feelings and worries at the surface. Tomorrow would be a new day and considering how many companies there are on that street, streets, city, I will probably never meet him again. So I will most likely forget about him faster than I think.
