"What's wrong dear, do you need something?" he asked.
"Nothing Daddy just wanted to ask you a question."
"What's that?", "Where are we going this time?"
Smiling, he ruffled her hair before answering the little girl.
" Somewhere fun dear, you're going to make friends there and live happily," he said.
Clapping her hands as the place sounds amazing.
Reaching the train station they got off taking their luggages, he asked them to wait for him at the waiting area while he went to check in. After a while they entered the train with the little sleeping on her father's hands probably tired from all the excitement and chatting. Sitting down in their cabin.
His seat was facing hers and he decided to go over their plan.
"Tay so you say they are still accepting students into college there right, it means I will be schooling while you are going to be taking care of the restaurant and shops." " So what of Lexi who's going to take care of her."
"Me of course, after school I am going to go get her so she stays with me in the office and I am sure you are not going to always have classes so you can come visit us anytime."
Nodding his head in agreement, as he felt relief washing over him he was not totally comfortable with the idea of a nanny taking care of his daughter in a place they don't really know that much about.
They were asleep when the train stopped announcing the arrival of the station it was. Opening his eyes he stretched a little before looking out the window, noticing they were at his stop he woke up handing his daughter over to her, kissing her forehead he took his small bag waving bye at her, he hung his bag over his shoulder before getting down from the train.
Staying by the side of the track waiting for the train to leave so he could wave at them one more time.
After all the passengers for the station got off, the train started moving. He saw her looking through the window, smiling as he waved at her, mouthing bye.
Seeing it disappear in the distance he dug his hands into his pockets, before leaving, going out of the station he booked a cab to take him to a hostel.
Reaching there he got down giving the man his money and a tip, he smiled feeling it in himself as it was very long he did that. Walking in the hostel he booked a room, getting the keys he left.
Opening the door to the room he entered scanning the room, he saw a big bed at the center of the room and to the side there was a reading table, turning to the other side he saw a television and a glass wardrobe beside it. Walking forward into the room he dropped his bag on the bed, taking out his phone from his pocket he decided to call That to check up on them.
"Hey how are you guys doing?" chuckling, she answered "fine, den you just left us like 40 minutes ago, don't tell me you are already missing us" , she replied, teasing him a little.
Chuckling "yes I am it's not easy being without my family, he said smiling."
Is that Daddy he heard a little voice asking, smiling he asked Tay to give her the phone, he could hear a little ruffling from the background and little whispering as the two girls were slowly exchanging words among themselves.
After a while Tay took the phone again "Hello are you still there" she asked.
"Ohh yes I am, you guys are done with your secret meeting" he said smiling.
Chuckling she replied "Lexi is mad with you, she said I should let you know she won't be talking to you for a long time."
Chuckling he asked what he did wrong, "she said you left her and did not even bother waking her up."
Chuckling, he asked her to put the phone on speaker.
Putting the phone on speaker she put it in the middle of the table.
"Hello sweetheart how are you* he asked, but was met with silence so he decided to continue "baby daddy did want to disturb his princess beauty sleep that's why he left without waking her up."
He said lowering his voice acting like he was sorry to get some pity out of the little girl.
"But why did you leave daddy? I thought we were going to travel together, " a little asked from the other side."
" Yes we are sweetheart daddy just stopped to get something he is going to meet you guys there okay."
There was a minute of silence before the little girl scoffed saying fine.
Smiling he continued talking to them for a while before putting the phone down to go take his bath.
After his bath he decided to lay down for a little bit as he was tired and tomorrow was Sunday, he wasn't going anywhere so decided to use the day to sleep and draft out his plan properly.
Opening his eyes he looked around the room everywhere was dark, touch his bed trying to feel his phone to turn on the flashlight, he felt around the bed for long deciding to give up he later back down, before dipping his hands into his hair ruffling it a little, taking his hand out he felt a screen near his head, touching the object he found out it was his phone, turning it on he saw it was around 2 in the morning, checking his call logs he saw Miss calls from Tay and his former colleague, thinking about what they might want he decided they might just want to check up on him.
He got off his bed and turned on the light switch in the room.
Turning around as the room lit up he saw a big present in the middle of the room deciding to check what it was as he was confused how it got into his room, he turned around to check the door it was locked.
Turning around back, going towards the present, he brought his phone out of his pocket calling Tay, standing in front of the present looking at it, he heard some noise coming from inside. It was a ringtone, it sounded very familiar.
The call he was making cut as Tay did not answer, looking down at his phone he looked back up at the present again, trying Tay's number again this time putting the phone to his hair while looking at the present in front of him, he heard the same ringtone again, it sounded familiar but he would not wrap his head around who owns it.
Dropping the phone at the side of the present he pointed to the big box that was wrapped up in front of him.
Opening it he screamed at what he saw he saw blood inside and a ringing phone, picking it up he saw the phone, it was Tay's own he thought.
Looking back down at the box he saw two circular objects wrapped with a white cloth, one was small the other was a little big, the white clothing had a lot of blood stain on it.
Lifting the white cloth covering the two objects his eyes widened at what was in front of him, his face turned so pale, he tried screaming but no sounds came out of his mouth, his throat dried up.
Looking down onto the box he saw the head of his friend and daughter inside the box, looking at it as sweat dropped down his forehead, he couldn't believe what was in front of him he thought, it was impossible right, he asked himself.
