But after seeing how everyone else was dressed in his grandfather's fancy building at headquarters. He recognized he would have to slightly change his style to fit in around here for the time he would be an employee. But jeans and plaid shirts were all a country boy like him ever needed and owned. This was his comfort zone, not suits and ties where he came from. So he will try to blend by wearing a blazer but not a necktie!
The door opened, and Chandler immediately stood up. Another tall, very handsome man comes into the office. Chandler's eyes could not believe who else he also saw standing behind the guy. He's stunned at the sight of this gorgeous young lady.
"No! It can't be Erin!"
"Chandler!" She uttered in shock.
She was stunned, too, looking at Chandler as her blue almond eyes expanded twice their size.
"Oh my!" Then when Ken looked at her reaction. She gathered her excitement and calmed her voice and facial expression, but internally, she was happy to see Chandler Jordan.
"It's good to see you. How was your flight Chandler?" She asked in a warm, friendly, but professional manner.
Chandler stood there with his hands casually on his hips, smiling at the gorgeous girl, "The flying contraption was interesting, but I enjoyed it. What mostly made it bearable was thinking about you during the flight, but I wasn't expecting to see you this soon."
She looked around at all the eyes on her and Chandler. "Hey, step into my office." Once, they were behind closed glass doors. Still, she had to be professional, but everyone couldn't hear their conversation.
"Take a seat."
"What are you doing working here?" Chandler asked curiously.
"It's a long story but the short version. My mom and dad have separate, which is my way of paying him back for messing around on my mom by working at your grandfather's company instead of his."
"Woah! That was a lot of information. I'm sorry to hear that about your parents."
"It's okay. Mom and I are both single and having so much fun. I'm happy she finally sees more fish in the sea besides my father. I had heard we were getting a new Tech manager, but I never in a million years imagined it would be you! I thought you would never leave Whispering Creek."
"Yeah, I haven't exactly left home, this is just a business venture between my Grandfather and me, but maybe I can tell you more about what's going on later? So, what do you do here?"
"Well, you know I have my Masters's in business, so I'm an Executive Supervisor."
"Will I be working in your department? Chandler asked, looking at her sultrily curious.
"Yes and no, unfortunately, but we'll see plenty of each other. So don't worry, Chandler. It's so good to see you, and it's great that you had a good flight. Well, I know you must be ready to relax and get to your new apartment. We have a few preliminary things to review with you, and then you are free to leave for the rest of the day."
"Okay, I guess. Wish I could stay here and talk some more to you," he said, giving her his million-dollar smile.
"I know we'll have time soon. Ah, I know what I can do. I had assigned someone else to assist you in getting started, but since I'm available for a few days, what if I assist you
in your training process?"
"Sounds like a winner to me," Chandler said instantly. It felt like electrical currents were shooting through his body.
" I'll let my assistant Ken help you with everything else you need to do and know."
"Thank you, Erin. I'm very appreciative of you working alongside me." Chandler said, thinking this was going to be easier than he thought.
"We're all on a first-name basis. So, just relax around here at TJ Cooperation. Your grandfather has an amazing company, and he's a great man. Since you are family, Chandler, I'll give you the red carpet treatment during your visit to Sydney. You don't need to use titles or handles around here. It's your grandfather's policy to create a very relaxed working environment."
Chandler smiled and shook his head. "Yes, the man is quite something," Chandler says sarcastically. "But I got it, Erin."
"Well, I'm going to take you on a tour of the building and to the floor where your department is located," Erin said as she stood up in her red and gray pencil suit and high heel-red pumps.
Boy! She was a knockout! Erin smiles as she opens the door letting Chandler walk out first. Immediately she checked out this man's physique. Chandler's body's long length, breadth, and depth were everything. He was solid looking, strong, and a fine piece of leather well put together-the temptingly attractive type.
His jeans hugged that capital C butt and long muscular thighs in all the right places after getting a satisfying eye full. Erin began chattering and explaining everything to him as they walked the corridors, both looking like they had stepped off a magazine.
"Okay, Chandler, we hired you as a night Tech manager to help you'll be helping your team better assist clients with our services. My schedule will allow you and me to spend plenty of time together. I work three days in the morning and the other three at night. So you will see a lot of me." Erin said, winking at Chandler with a cute smile.
While she talked, Chandler was battling with his mind to stay focused on what she was saying about his new job. He kept thinking, is she the girl of my dreams?' Even if she wasn't, she certainly was close enough. So Chandler thought, looking at all her curves and physical beauty. What a pretty basket of fruit. Yet, he remained fixated on the girl. He cataloged everything to memory about her appearance.
Erin was an excellent height, just a short height. She looked every bit elegant and sophisticated. She wore a Fendi suit that fit every curve. It shimmered against her alabaster complexion and molded to her slender frame.
The neckline showed off glimpses of her collarbone and the graceful elongated neck. Her long hair was swept to one side like a silk curtain. Dark strands of hair fell over her right shoulder in one perfect curl. Chandler couldn't take his eyes off her, nor would he forget how good she smelled, like perfume heaven.
'Her mane is as silky as a horse's tail,' Chandler thought, smiling admiringly at Erin.
The young woman went on to explain his duties and responsibilities. Then Erin paused. Looking at him directly in his eyes, encased with dark brows and thick dark lashes, they look like midnight.
"Mmm, so, tell me something, Chandler," she said just above a whisper.
Hearing her say his name made his heart race. "Ah yes,"
"Will being busy in the evenings until midnight be a problem? I mean, working til late be a problem."
A sigh of disappointment and relief came when he realized she was talking about work.
"No, not at all. I'm glad to be here in this great city experiencing something new." Chandler said, slightly tilting his head to the side, sexily eyeing the elegant lady.
"That sounds great. The driver will take your luggage from Nate's car and take you to your apartment.
"So, I have a quick question about that Nate guy. Is that lime green car his?"
"Well, it's the company car, but because Nate excels at everything around here, he's the only one allowed to drive it. It's a bonus given to top employees by your grandfather. Mr. Thorn is cool and generous to all his employees when they do well."
"That's interesting. I've never seen this side of my grandfather before. He quite different with family."
"Well, I'll be working tomorrow evening, so I'll be here to start your training and show you the 10th floor." Erin extended her well-manicured hand. Have a good evening and night Chandler."
Chandler didn't want to let her soft, delicate hand go. He felt a spark or two and wondered if she felt anything.
"Thanks for taking the time to assist me, and what a wonderful surprise. I'll see you tomorrow."
His gut tightened. She was so beautiful. He knew from her facial features she was thrilled to see him too. So now Chandler knew for sure she was attracted to him.
He remembers conversing with his brother Chase when he asked him a while back. "What type of girl was he attracted to?"
"I don't know for sure, but I like pretty eyes, full lips are the features that get my attention, and a nice body. Erin has all those features and more.'

When he got to his apartment building, it was around 3 pm. He went inside with all his luggage hurrying to catch the elevator to the seventh floor. The first thing he noticed was the width of the hallway, and the second thing he noticed was not only was it spacious but dimly lit. They had an apartment right across from him, and he wondered who his neighbor was
First, he dropped his bags and went straight to look in the kitchen. It was stocked with groceries and plenty of water to drink. Next, he entered the bedroom and saw the closet had several dress shirts and slacks his size.
"Grandfather Thorn had prepared it all." Next, Chandler removed his boots and slipped his foot into a pair of Italian leather dress shoes that melted like butter around his foot.
"Wow! This is what it feels like to wear expensive dress shoes."
He took the shoes off, placed them in the closet, and returned to the living room, immediately turning on the television. He stopped and stared at the video playing Beyonce.
"Wow!" His eyes were glued to the screen. He had never seen a girl with golden brown skin. "She's stunning!"
When the video was over, he took in a deep breath. "She's amazing!"
Chandler tore his eyes away from the television and went to boil a pot of water to prepare him some pasta.
"So far, everything is working out perfectly. I guess I need to start thinking about my action plan."He wasn't worried about being a manager in tech support, but he was a little concerned about capturing Erin.

The next afternoon Chandler woke up looking at the clock. "Oh my goodness! Is that even the right time?" He exclaimed. Chandler realizes he only has a little time to get dressed and heads to work. You see, he was so fascinated with television shows and music videos that he stayed up way past bedtime. Chandler went to bed at 4 am. Which is the same time he would usually wake up on the farm.
Chandler hurries into the bathroom to clean up. Afterward, he looks in the mirror. "I need to do something with my hair. Those folks sure are fancy at that place. Since it's my first day, I want to look nice, like all the other men I've seen in that office building." He knew his usual attire was not going to work.
He browsed through his closet, selecting something that didn't require a tie. Finally, Chandler snapped his finger and hurried to the living room in his underwear. "I know what can help me!" He picked up the fashion men's magazine on the coffee table and quickly flipped through the pages for ideas.
"Yeah, this should work." He took the magazine, tossing it on the bed while he looked for something to wear. Not only did he pattern his outfit after the men models he saw in the magazine. He even styled his hair like theirs.
"A little bit of classy and a whole lot of sassy." He said, grinning as he massaged the mousse into his hair. Since it was late fall, he pulled out a dark brown and beige pinstripe jacket, a bold cream sweater with matching pinstripe pants, and a pair of brown leather shoes.
Exiting the bedroom, he gave himself one last look in the mirror. Chandler even took the liberty to compliment himself first to start his day.
"I cleaned up pretty good." He said, chuckling.
"Now let the games begin, lookout. You are about to be all mine," he said, thinking of Erin Whitmore as he winked at himself in the mirror.
