Chapter 3 .3

The two sisters laugh as they talk about their day.

The Eden sister is close. Ebony looks up to her older sister, Ivy being her role model in Ebony's eyes there is nothing her sister can't do.

After dealing with Erica and Debbie the two sisters met up at a small cafe. Yes even though they are high-class billionaires, they go to a small simple cafe. The owner of the cafe is a friend of their mother, so they tend to go there a lot to greet the woman who they call auntie or just to have a sister talk.

Ebony didn't leave out a single detail as she tell her sister about Erica and Debbie in her shop. Even though she doesn't have a problem with Debbie, Debbie is still a Collin.

"I know your pain, Ebby," Ivy say "I can't stand that fucking shit face, Collin."

Ebony could only smile at her sister. Even if Devin is an enemy she can't lie to herself and say that he isn't handsome when he is. Sometimes she thinks that her sister is too stubborn to admit it or she just can't tell the difference between ugly and pretty.

"That Hilton girl been getting in your way too much. Don't you think you should tell father?" Ivy asks concern written all over her face. Her little sister who is three years younger than her is softhearted and tend to let things go easily

Ebony knows where her sister is going with this, but telling their father would mean starting war with the Collin family.

Ebony doesn't want that. What Ebony wants she doesn't have, well not yet. She always envied her friends that have children. Being just twenty-five she longs for a daughter or a son. She has been dating many guys but the relationship didn't last long with either of them, because she want to get married and have children and they weren't ready. She has a bad reputation with men. Being called a whore and another harsh name on tv, the twenty-five-year-old cried her eyes out.

Ivy ended up going to numerous television talk shows, to defend her sister. On one of them, she cursed out every man that made her sister cry.

But even if Ebony is softhearted she knows how to defend herself.

"We mustn't disturb father with these kinds of issues," Ebony say looking out the window.

Her words made Ivy mad, "so you're just letting them get away with this? We don't go near their business but they come near ours. What kind of bullshit is that?" She slams her first against the table.

"Ivy this isn't right," Ebony say softly.

"I know, but still those Collin is going too far," suddenly a plan came to mind making a wicked smirk cross Ivy's lip "it's time we pay their company a little visit."

Ebony saw this coming, Evy Eden never let things go. A chuckle left her mouth 'no wonder she is father's favourite, she's just like him.'

Yes, out of the two sisters, Ivy's their father's favourite and Ebony is their mother's favourite.

"It's not necessary. Not saying this to offend you, Ivy, but you should worry when they cross your territory, not mine." Ebony say not wanting to disrespect her sister.

Ivy look at her sister, she always tends to her problem her way.

Ivy sigh "fine," Ivy is mad. Mad that her sister is making their enemies get away with things, "you handle your own problems."

The Eden family always keep their distance from the Collin family, the only time they would be seeing each other is at meetings, galas or just running into them coincidentally. But this isn't the first time Ivy hear that they step foot into her sister's shop.

'They're up to something,' Ivy thought. She has to investigate.

"To be honest, I always envy how brave and confident you are Ivy," Ebony sigh " people listen to you when you speak, but when it comes to me it's like my words have no meaning."

Ebony envies a lot of people, especially people with children.

Ivy only stares at her sister, not knowing what to say to her. She always knows that out of the two of them, she was most qualified to be in the business world and her sister wasn't, but Ebony follow Ivy's footsteps and Ivy was there to help and protect Ebony at any point.

"Are you coming home tonight?" Ebony asks.

"No," Ivy answered with no hesitation, "I'm going to my club with Naomi and Lloyd, later. I think it's time for me to have some fun."

Lloyd, Naomi and Ivy agree to go clubbing, Ivy didn't wanna but after she realize that she hadn't been at her clubs for days she change her mind.

Ebony couldn't believe her ear, her workaholic sister know the word fun. "Okay, well then I hope you have fun." Ebony stood up grabbed her purse and turn to Ivy, "well then I'll be off."

She was about to walk away but Ivy stop her by asking, "Your photoshoot is in a couple of days right?"

"Tomorrow," Ebony answered made Ivy feel a little guilty.

"I promise I'll be there," Ivy said.

Ebony nodded before walking out of the cafe, leaving Ivy behind. Ivy watched as her sister got into her car and drove off until the car disappear down the street.

Ivy took out her phone and dial her assistant Susie.

"I want someone to keep an eye on my sister."

Susie knew what her words meant and with a yes ma'am the call was ended. Susie immediately gets to business.

'They dare to go after the weakest,' a chuckled left Ivy's lips 'how like them'.

" 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and go."

"Good Evening, I am Ivy Eden, CEO of Eden. I have been asked how I made it to the way I am, some of you say that it's because of my family status, but it's not," I continue staring at the camera "Your status alone can't take you no way, hard work is what made my company so successful. Right now my company is working on a new perfume called Diamond, it would be released in my shop next week, I'll make sure you'll know the date, thanks for listening and hope you work hard to give yourself the life you deserve, until next time."

Everyone started to clap as I stood up.

"Good job, your perfume will be a big success after that," a random guy says.

I smiled "thank you." It feels good to get that over with.
